Kicks Lounge in Akron appears to be a popular spot. It’s known for carrying shoes but also other stuff people want, such as trendy tees, jeans, hats, sports jerseys, and a few accessories. Based on what I’ve read, they cater more toward men's fashion and its unfortunate that the women's selection isn’t as robust. I think the goal is that it's got a chill vibe where people can discover the latest trends and limited-edition items, which is kinda cool.

Customer reviews paint a pretty positive picture. Most people mentioned how nice and helpful the staff is, which is always a plus. The store's cleanliness is something that people comment on, and the customer service really seems to stand out for many. It's great to see a business getting recognition for those things these days. The selection of shoes and Jordan gear is a major draw, plus, it looks as though you can find some good sales if you time it right. Some people did say it can be a bit pricey and that the items can be found cheaper somewhere else, but most people seem to agree that the atmosphere, selection, and friendly staff make it worth checking out.

Braunstein Tailors and Clothier, a men's store around here in Akron, is known for doing custom suit work and alterations. You can find high-end suits, shirts, and all that jazz– cuff links and ties and what not– you know, all the stuff guys need. They also do repairs, alterations, even specialty designs, they do it all. People say they offer a pretty personalized experience, even give you drinks while you talk through what you're looking for.

The reviews go on and on about Rich, the tailor, and how skilled he is, how professional, and how he really hones in on the details, which is nice to hear about any place, truly. Apparently, he's super knowledgeable, passionate, and, the big thing is, he's dedicated to making sure people look their best, which is what a tailor should do, right? Customers really seem to love that he can make suits fit absolutely perfectly and alter things to have a sharper, more modern feel and they even said that he is flexible enough to do last-minute requests! Though, I guess one person mentioned having trouble reaching them by phone, and another said they were closed, so maybe their hours can be hit or miss.

Looking for uniforms? Levinson's Uniforms in Akron could really be the spot, I've heard good things. They have two locations, one downtown in like, a classic building, and another in Cuyahoga Falls, apparently easier to get to. They seem to specialize in clothing and gear for public servants and safety forces, which is pretty niche. Basically, they've got everything from dress uniforms to, you know, the everyday stuff; they're your one-stop shopping location. Also, from what I'm told, if you need anything tailored or altered, that's definately the place you want to be!

Word on the street is that Levinson's is known for super helpful and friendly people who work there, Gary in particular. Customers say they're really knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to make sure you find what you need. Plus, there's an in-house tailor who does quick, quality work, sometimes even while you wait, how convenient is that! People also seem to love the selection, the quality of the merchandise, and how fast they get personalized gear done and the prices is pretty consistent with other uniform suppliers; however, some have wished prices were posted in the store. And there's this whole thing about shipping delays.

Rubber City Clothing, tucked away in the North Side Lofts, is *the* place you need to check out if you want some cool Akron gear. They've got tons of options, like t-shirts, hoodies and even tank dresses, usually sporting local landmarks. The best part, maybe, is that they'll even slap a design on clothes you bring in so it is the only way to get truly one-of-a-kind Akron pride stuff.

People really seem to love Rubber City Clothing and often say its awesome Akron swag and being able to create your own personalized apparel is a huge plus. Most reviewers rave about the friendly staff, which gives the shop a fun, uplifting atmosphere and it's always nice to support local artist which can be found here. Plus, I heard the shirts last forever; they have great quality so many of the reviewers say the quality is pretty good. It seems like a great location and having many options is why it's the go-to place for residents and people visiting from out of town. I read one person wasn't happy the store backed a company they felt was bad for Akron. I think it's a local gem that's worth checking out.

Wear to Go in Akron has gotten a lot of buzz from the locals, and the word is that they kill it with affordable fashion. Supposedly you can find anything from something lowkey to a killer outfit for a night out, or even clothes for work, they seem to have a pretty broad selection. From what I hear, they also stock lingerie and dancewear, plus, which is awesome, they have a plus-size section, they even have uniform items, you know, for school kids.

People seriously rave about the staff; they are supposed to be super friendly and always willing to help you put together the perfect fit. It's cool to hear customers appreciate that kind of attention, I know I do. It sounds they offer clothing that's a decent value, and some folks have mentioned they have a "grown and sexy" area along with rave gear, which is different; they have been around for quite awhile in that area with the owners Liz and Marc being chill. A few reviews mention being followed, so, maybe something they should look into. Also, they don't have a website, which I'm pretty sure is inconvenient.

Express in Akron is a place to shop if you're hunting for dress shirts, streamlined fits, and dresses, but be aware that some say it's not the cheapest spot out there. However, I have heard they frequently run sales and provide coupons, so this can potentially mitigate the costs. If you're trying to find clothing retailers nearby that have some relatively trendy choices, particularly if you have a leaner build, then Express is maybe worth considering.

I've seen several people say that their customer service really stands out, and honestly it makes a huge difference. Specifically, some people have pointed out Breasia, Jillian, and Manager Allison for being extra helpful when trying to put an outfit together or resolve issues. Also, getting a good fit, along with finding great coupons, is a plus. And if you have a special event coming up, the availability of staff ready to help is amazing.

Macy's at Summit Mall is a department store in Akron offering a bunch of different products. It's a clothing store that's conveniently close to me, and they usually carry stuff for everyone in the family – men, women, and kiddos – not to mention shoes, jewelry, and all that jazz. Plus you can find cosmetics, like the Clinique lip crayon a customer was looking for, home goods, furniture, even luggage. It's got name-brand stuff, and I think I saw they have a Backstage section with discounted things, which is cool.

I heard people compliment certain staff members a lot, like Lori in the men's department or LaTrawvia and Claudia who apparently go the extra mile to help customers find what they need. Some reviewers have also mentioned that the sales are pretty good, it's possible to find deals on designer clothes or things for your home. Also, the manager of the bedding department is apparently extremely knowledgeable and kind. The employees are also friendly, and the store is kept clean, which is always a plus.

Citi Trends in Akron offers a pretty decent selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories for everyone in the family, even my picky nephews. It's got a reputation for those urban styles that are cool again, alongside some name-brand stuff you wouldn't expect, all at super low prices which, let's be honest, is ideal if you're trying to save some money. You can score housewares or even scrubs if you're into that sort of thing, it's the kind of place you can get quite a bit for not a lot of coin. Seems like if you're hunting for something that's both trendy and won't drain your bank account, Citi Trends could be worth checking out in Akron, Ohio.

People mention the prices being pretty awesome, always a big win, and the range of styles, urban included, plus name brands, which are both perks that stand out. I guess you have to dig sometimes. I did see some comments about things being disorganized or a bit messy, also the inventory not being stocked, which isn't awesome, and somebody had a bad experience with a cashier. But there's a lot of positive feedback out there too, especially about the friendly staff, good customer service, and having the option to put things on layaway. Sounds like it's a good spot to build up a wardrobe without completely emptying your wallet, especially since a lot of folks seem to find exactly what they needed there.

Gabe's, located fairly close to my place in Akron, it has a pretty big selection, think clothes for everyone, plus shoes, stuff for your house, pet gear, even some food. They are known for stocking brand names and off brands, but, like, at prices that won't make your bank account cry. It's cool because their inventory changes so much, you can find a totally different store in inventory than before. You can seriously grab anything, from clothing and accessories to jazzing up your apartment or your skin all without making multiple stops, and who doesn't love saving time?

People seem to really dig Gabe's for snagging some seriously amazing deals and awesome prices. It is kinda like a treasure hunt, finding those name brand items for, like, way less is def a rush. From what I read online, a lot of people are appreciative of the workers there, seems like Roxana gets a lot of shoutouts. The selection is apparently bomb, between outfits, footwear, stuff for your home, and even the fur babies. Okay, there's some complaints about it being a little disorganized, that shelves might be a mess, or the checkout lines being super long, maybe from not having enough staff. And some folks have mentioned that you should, like, really check out what you're buying before you head up front cause things are damaged or the sizes aren't always right.
