Anthropologie in Annapolis? It's more than just a store. People I know are obsessed. They've got a great reputation for really cool, different clothes and home stuff. And I keep hearing the displays are actual art, which, let's be honest, you don't see everywhere.
I've heard the staff is super helpful, they'll give you honest opinions which you always want. Plus, they always seem to have a good selection that's actually organized—I hate when stores are messy! And the clothes seem to be good quality; the type of thing that will last which is something that is important and you have to think about the cost per wear. I think the only thing that's holding me back is that it sounds pretty pricey but based on the reviews and peoples opinions its worth it.

#2 Capital Custom Clothiers
www.capitalcustomclothiers.com
50 Maryland Ave, Annapolis, MD 21401
Capital Custom Clothiers in Annapolis sounds amazing, especially if you need something tailored or a custom suit for an important event; word on the street is they're super detail-oriented, which is honestly what I look for. I mean, who doesn't appreciate a business that really pays attention to what they're doing, ya know? It seems Brett and Angie, the owners, have this rep for making sure everything fits perfectly and looks fantastic. I'm always a little worried about alterations, so that is really reassuring, I think.
Loads of people rave about how helpful and responsive they are too, plus they are especially good at making custom suits, including wedding attire, and lots of people are happy. I think one woman said they "saved her" when she needed a tux—totally awesome. Although, admittedly, a few people noted minor issues regarding the alteration quality of a dress and pricing, but the overwhelming vibe is, I'm hearing, that Capital Custom Clothiers is really the place to go in Annapolis if you want a quality suit that looks great.

A lot of people rave about the customer service, particularly mentioning how helpful and attentive the staff is; several people had super positive things to say about folks named Kelly, Kylie, Jessica, Darien, and Sean, I guess they really go the extra mile. Plus, it sounds like they are pretty good about returns, which is always a relief, and apparently they're honest about what looks good, which I appreciate way more than someone just trying to make a sale. But even though there's some complaints about sale tracking and an incident with a manager being rude (yikes!), it seems most customers are generally happy with their shopping experience, and you'd have to think it's a pretty nice place to shop.

Charm City Run in Annapolis is a running store that comes highly recommended, especially if you're serious about your gear. They've got a solid selection of running shoes, clothes, and all those little gadgets that can make a run just a little bit better. Apparently, their staff is really good at figuring out what you need, and can even tell you stuff about running form, which is nice.
I hear people rave about the staff there; they seem to really take their time to make sure you get the right fit, and that's pretty key when you're talking about shoes that pound the pavement. Word is, they host community runs and training things too, so it's not just a place to buy stuff. There are times when they do seem to run out of things (a lot of the time), plus there are people who mention the prices were high, however, the general consensus is you're paying for the experience and quality, which, honestly, can be worth it.

The North Face in Annapolis, it's definitely a spot to check out if you are trying to find some decent outdoor stuff, or honestly, just need a good winter coat that won't fall apart. They have tons of North Face gear, obviously, for both women and men, so if you're prepping for a hike or you just love the brand, it's worth popping in. The selection seems to be pretty good, too, based on what I've heard. I think it may be worth a look if you're in the Annapolis area and want gear for like, any activity.
What I hear most from people is how great the staff is at the Annapolis location, which is a big win, right? Apparently, the team are always happy to help and actually know their stuff. I think people can be intimidated by the whole "outdoorsy" vibe some of these stores have. It makes things so much easier when you have someone there who can guide you. You know, like, tell you the difference between the jackets. Some say it's super clean and well-organized which can be an added bonus.

Hot Topic in Annapolis is pretty rad; I've heard it's a total hub for anyone looking for, you know, stuff you can't find anywhere else. People seem to really dig the band tees, anime stuff, and all the pop culture collectibles they carry. And it's not just shirts; they've got all sorts of clothes, I think someone mentioned Steam Punk, which is kinda cool, along with jewelry and piercing stuff, if you're into that.
Honestly, from what I've gathered, the employees working at Hot Topic seem awesome because a lot of shoppers rave about them being really helpful and friendly. The place itself gets compliments too, mainly because it’s clean and they have frequent sales. I've seen several reviews noting that the store has a welcoming vibe, plus the staff seems to treat everyone pretty well. Helly Hansen Annapolis sounds like a pretty good place to get your outdoor gear fix if you're nearby. Apparently, they're known for carrying high-quality stuff, ranging from some seriously stylish jackets to practical soft goods, and it's all supposedly made to last, which is a definite plus. I read that they stock both men's and women's stuff, making it a one-stop kind of shop for your outdoor clothing needs; the staff are probably experts.
People seem to rave about the customer service there, like big ups to Cameron, Seamus, and Sarah - several reviews mentioned them by name for their helpfulness and knowledge! Honestly, it's not everywhere you find sales associates this knowledgeable and patient. Word on the street is that their exchange and warranty policies are pretty great too, which is always a good sign, it really show's that they care about keeping customers happy; the store ambiance, cleanliness, and product quality also get a lot of love. From skis and snowboards to swimwear and bikes, they have a huge selection, i wonder if the new location has affected their quality. They also do rentals and repairs, which is great for those of us who aren't quite ready to commit to buying all our own stuff.
Honestly, people seem to really like the staff, they are always willing to help, which isn't something you always find, the sale staff is always educated on the products. A lot of people have mentioned that the prices are pretty fair, especially considering the quality. Plus, the speedy bike repair service is clutch. #11 Earthbound Trading Co.

Earthbound Trading Co. is a pretty cool store in Annapolis, seems to carry a little bit of everything. You can usually find things such as, crystals, incense, and all sorts of boho-chic stuff, I think they even sell clothes. It's probably the kind of spot where you can get a cute top, but also grab, say, a dreamcatcher for your bedroom.
I heard that people mostly love that place! Lots of positive reviews mentioning the employees; that they're super friendly and helpful, especially this one dude named Jack. Heard he's awesome with customers, always going the extra mile, which is awesome. Apparently, the vibe is just really chill, a super nice spot to browse, even if you aren't sure what you are looking for. But it looks like some people have had less great experiences with service, maybe feeling like they're being watched in the store or something? It can be a little pricey too, from what I’ve heard.

Torrid is that place in Annapolis that's all about cute plus-size stuff; they totally nail the trendy vibe. You can find everything from super casual tees all the way up to something for a night out. Honestly, I think they even carry shoes and socks, which is pretty cool.
What's great is hearing everyone talk about how good the quality is and that the people working there are actually helpful, not just trying to make a sale. I think a lot of women really appreciate that Torrid focuses on style for plus sizes since finding stuff that's both flattering and modern can be a struggle. Though, a number of reviewers noted the prices, which is valid, but they're always running some kind of deal, whether it's buy-one-get-one or killer clearance racks. But I did notice a few people mentioning shipping problems and just feeling ignored by staff, so it seems results may vary depending on the location.

Under Armour Brand House in Annapolis is a pretty popular spot, and it's easy to see why because they've got all sorts of athletic stuff. You can find anything from the latest tennis shoes to workout clothes, plus tons of Navy gear which, lets be real, is a crowd pleaser. The staff really is great too and are generally happy to help, but sometimes it is really busy.
What's cool is Under Armour Brand House usually offers a military discount, and who doesn't love a good sale, right? I've heard you can snag some high-quality stuff for way less during their events. It's a bummer that their custom design machine can be a little hit or miss, especially with color matching. It seems as if the customer service at the Under Armour Brand House is great, so, maybe their customer service would be able to help, if the custom design machine mess up on color or name. I will miss this brand since they are closing.

Their selection's pretty broad from what I've heard, but everyone always raves about the anime shirts, plus they sell a ton of Champion stuff. It's a good place to go if you need a longboard.
What I've gathered is that the customer service at Zumiez is usually on point, most staff are really helpful and know the product pretty well. I have seen some reviews saying that they really know their stuff and they're happy to tell you all about the sales happening. However, if you're buying shoes, you will have to make sure they are the right size because some reviewers had problems with the return policy. It is a shame because most say they're incredibly friendly and happy to fix any problems, if you're lucky you might meet the manager that everyone is talking about.

American Eagle & Aerie is a go-to store near me, especially if I'm trying to find some comfy shorts or jeans that will actually last. They have a pretty good selection, and you can usually find something that fits your style, whatever that might be, also, there's usually some deals going on to save some money. Aerie's part of the same store, and that's where you can get all the bra stuff, which is convenient because sometimes finding a good bra is just the actual worst.
I do know a bunch of people have said they've had fantastic experiences with the staff there, especially when you need help finding the right size; apparently some of the associates are really good at figuring out what you need. There have been a couple of mentions of a military discount, too, which is pretty cool, plus, there's a rewards program if you're there constantly. Vans is a brand I have a soft spot for, and I know there's a location in Annapolis that's pretty popular. I've heard they've got tons of sneakers, plus the usual t-shirts and hoodies, so my daughter will probably drag me there at some point. It sounds like they generally keep the place nice and tidy, with a lot of choices, if I'm being honest, that's pretty much all I need when shopping for clothes.
The staff is usually really friendly, which is always a plus, and the good ones seem to know their stuff when it comes to the products. People seem to appreciate that they carry the specific size and color they wanted, which, lets be honest, is often the biggest challenge when trying to find shoes. From what I gather, they've got a nice layout, making it easy to find what you're looking for - skateboard stuff on one wall, shoes toward the back, it makes sense. I guess not everyone has a perfect experience with their staff all the time, and sometimes the sizes can be limited, I heard the online store has the most inventory. Overall, it sounds like a solid store with a good selection, it might be worth checking out sometime soon.

There's also positive buzz around the baby section and what they have on clearance, it's all up to chance depending on when you go. But don't be surprised if you have to wait in a long line, especially close to the holidays, and some people say it's not always the most organized.

Some shoppers have even found fantastic deals, especially on designer brands, plus there's supposed to be shoes and household items, too. Customers have noted that the layout is really spacious, and the staff is friendly, especially in the fitting rooms. Although I did hear someone say there was an issue where they were accused of theft, which is never okay. Some people did note issues of the organization and how well stocked it may or may not be, or, that the checkout lines were long, which happens, and some have said it wasn't super clean. A lot of things they carry can be used for more than one purpose, which is cool. Okay, so there's this T.J. Maxx in Annapolis, and it seems to have it's devotees for a pretty good reason. Apparently, it's got everything under the sun, from clothes to fancy snacks, all marked down, which is a total win; however, the markdowns seem to be for a reason. Word on the street is you have to have the *time* to find that diamond.
Most of what I'm seeing online is positive though, with people raving how they've found designer shoes and gourmet truffle spreads for a steal. Some reviewers pointed out that the staff are great; some of the friendliest people, which is honestly always a plus. Though, the main issue seems to be the mess, and how the checkout can be a nightmare. Still, I'm seeing people really love this place despite its organization.
