FatFace in Birmingham does a solid job of curating a wide range of casual clothes, and they definitely excel at winter gear, which is something I always appreciate. They seem to carry a decent selection for both men and women. You can usually find some really nice clothes there, plus a few accessories, and maybe snag some potential holiday presents if you're thinking ahead. If you're hunting for somewhere in Birmingham that has clothes which aren't the same as everything else, its worth checking out.
I've heard people saying the staff is super helpful and attentive, which is always a plus, who doesn't like good customer service? Reviewers often rave about specific staff members who are really knowledgeable and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs, it makes shopping that much better. Apparently, some people score great deals on things that last which is always amazing. The changing rooms are also really good according to some!

#2 Cato Fashions
1632 Montclair Rd, Birmingham, AL 35210
Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [1-6 PM]
Cato Fashions in Birmingham is one of those places where you can find surprisingly cute outfits without totally breaking the bank. It's got a decent range, from everyday stuff to clothes you could wear to work, or even church, plus I've noticed some workout gear in there too. You can find just about anything you need, even for us plus-size gals, and they have cute jewelry and shoes that won't make you feel like you're committing a fashion crime. Seriously, though, people rave about their clearance section being the hidden gem of Birmingham fashion.
What's cool is that customers consistently mention how nice the staff is; they’re always saying they’re super helpful and patient. The store itself is also apparently kept pretty clean and organized, which is always a plus. Oh, and don't forget their constant sales on both clothing and jewelry! Many shoppers find the selection of clothes awesome. Plus, they make clothes that actually flatter curves, which, let’s be honest, is a win. It's the employees really make it fun for some shoppers to shop there. However, I've read that some customers say the staff's friendliness can be hit or miss and the selection isn’t always consistent; one person couldn't find jeans in their size.

#3 Hatman
54 Stephenson St, Birmingham B2 4HD, United Kingdom
Monday: [10 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
Hatman, a black-owned business that's been around forever in Birmingham, seems to be *the* spot if you're hunting for any kind of headwear; it's certainly got those "clothing store near me in Birmingham" vibes. They carry a massive selection, everything from those Peaky Blinder caps you see all over Netflix to proper Panama hats, depending on what vibe you're going for. Beyond hats, they also stock this eclectic mix of clothes, bags, scarves, plus music and DVDs that definitely have a Caribbean/Jamaican feel, its hard to explain and you just gotta go there.
You constantly hear people raving about the customer service and how helpful the staff is, they really go out of their way and even do custom hat-making. It's the type of place where you might discover your new favorite item. People really do appreciate the selection of well-made, affordable hats too, and the employees offer a ton of suggestions when you're indecisive (me, always). A lot of reviewers mention the good vibes and super welcoming atmosphere and I want to assume it's the Caribbean/Jamaican influence that gives it that extra layer of cool; one bad review complained about the service, but almost everyone suggests this place, so I think the vast majority outweighs the minority.

#4 On Time Fashions
1564 Montclair Rd, Birmingham, AL 35210
Monday: [10 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [12-5 PM]
On Time Fashions in Birmingham seems to be the go-to if you're trying to find men's and boy's clothes. They apparently have a crazy big selection. From chill, everyday fits to stuff for a fancy occasion, you can find anything from dress shoes and suits to more of an urban style, and they have all kinds of hats and accessories. Customers are always talking about how much they liked the variety; I heard they even have big and tall sizes available, which is great.
A lot of people are saying the customer service at On Time Fashions is actually really good; which is kind of rare these days. Names keep popping up in reviews – Christine, Dreka, Sam, PJ, Shad, Vonta – people are saying these employees are super attentive and helpful and honestly know their stuff when it comes to styling. I'm reading where shoppers really appreciate that they help you find the right outfits and sizes. Plus, they do alterations, and folks seem pretty happy with that service. And I guess the general vibe is pretty welcoming, where the staff being friendly makes the whole thing a better experience. I did see one comment that said the prices were a little high, which is a bummer.

#5 Liquor Store
No.3, Liquor Store, The Grand, 27 Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2BS, United Kingdom
Monday: [10 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-5 PM]
So, there's this place in Birmingham called Liquor Store, and honestly, the name is kinda misleading because it's not actually a place where you'd get alcohol. It's a clothing store with seriously curated denim, Red Wing boots, and leather goods, plus brands you won't find in the larger more common stores. Seriously, they really know their stock here. It's the place to hit if you're after menswear, cool shoes, and great accessories in a space that's actually worth spending time in.
What really makes them stand out is the staff. Like, seriously, the reviews keep mentioning the people who work there. They know their products, they're helpful if you're stuck on sizing or need styling advice. It seems they really focus on helping you find something that fits and is suited for you rather than pressuring you to buy something. You can even get your trousers altered for free. Okay, I've read that one person had a rough experience with a return, but the general feel is super positive. People rave about the denim selection, interesting labels, and how they make shopping feel good. I also read that they have a bar with a cover charge.

#6 ARKET Store
Bullring Shopping Centre Bullring, 4 Moor St, Birmingham B5 4BU, United Kingdom
Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-5 PM]
ARKET in Birmingham is more than just a place to grab clothes; it’s supposedly got this whole vibe going on, what with its sleek, Scandinavian aesthetic that they have been working hard at. Offering a decent range of pieces spanning men's, women's, and children's wear – it’s that place you can rely on for the staples, well I heard it is. Plus, I saw they've got homeware items too, which are meant to be pretty unique. And I hear their cafe is a nice touch, serving coffee and light snacks, which apparently makes the whole shopping thing more enjoyable.
Honestly, the reviews I've read rave about the customer service; people will mention specific names like Uriah, Anderson, Ekta, Nadia, Eli, Gosia, Georgia, Ricardo, Fran and Freya. It looks as if they go out of their way to assist you, from helping locate items to offering styling tips – that's what I call top service. It's a plus they keep their shop clean and easy to get around, which is often commented on, and the chilled-out atmosphere makes it easier to make good decisions. Some do say sizing can be a bit off if you're not built typically "Swedish," and others think certain items are too pricey, but I've mostly read good things. I guess I'll have to check it out one day.

#7 Mairs
253 Soho Rd, Birmingham B21 9RY, United Kingdom
Monday: [11 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [11 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [11 AM-7 PM], Friday: [11 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [12-4 PM]
Mairs in Birmingham has a reputation, and it seems to be mostly good, though every place has a few hiccups, right? From what I can gather, they're known for their outfits that are classy enough for big events, but also work if you just want something special for, I don't know, a Tuesday. It sounds similar to what you'd find at a specialty store. You know, the kind that just gets what looks good on you. Reviews rave about their custom designs and attention to detail, which is always a plus.
The people working there must be doing something right. A lot of customers specifically shout out staff members – Raj, Reena, Sukhi, Aman – saying they go the extra mile, especially when it comes to finding the right fit and suggesting things. The general consensus appears to be that their clothes are beautiful and well-made, with some folks even saying the price reflects the quality. Though, I did see one person mention some sort of initial smell when you walk in, and another thought some items were overpriced...still, the majority seem pretty happy with Mairs, which is promising.

#8 Blue Banana Birmingham
117 New St, Birmingham B2 4JQ, United Kingdom
Monday: [10 AM-5:30 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-5:30 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-5:30 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-5:30 PM], Friday: [10 AM-5:30 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-5:30 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-4 PM]
Blue Banana in Birmingham is supposedly the place to go if you're hunting for alternative clothes and accessories, and you can find it smack-dab in the city center. Apparently, they're super well-known for their piercing, too, from what I've read. There's a large selection of jewelry if you're into that, and the prices seem alright too.
A lot of people are saying really good things about the staff, especially the piercers like Liz, Sam, Adhum, David, Reagan, and Molly, which makes sense given their expertise. The reviews mention how comfortable they made people feel, which is nice, and how clean everything is, that's pretty important. Plus, they give out clear aftercare instructions, which is always a bonus since you want it to heal correctly. Some customers even say they wouldn't trust anyone else with their piercings, which speaks volumes; and I think that's due to staff helping shoppers find shoes and accessories! I did see a few reviews mentioning issues with specific piercings or staff, so I guess it's not perfect.

#9 JB'S House of Fashion
1630 3rd Ave W, Birmingham, AL 35208
Monday: [10 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
JB's House of Fashion, located in Birmingham, seems to be a go-to spot for menswear that doesn't skimp on style, offering suits alongside more casual outfits. I've heard they've got a little bit of everything and prices are fair, so it could be a good option if you're trying to find something special that fits your specific vibe. If you're looking to get something custom made or just a little more personalized, it sounds like JB's might be worth a look.
From what I gather, a lot of people rave about the customer service, especially from JB himself, and a Sherrell Thomas. Apparently, they're really good at helping customers put together outfits and making sure the fit is spot-on, so you can count on her to help. Plus, folks seem to think the overall atmosphere is great and that the selection is on point for dressy stuff, which is something to consider. I mean, some people have had issues with pushy staff, or so I've read, and the front entrance isn't accessible to those in wheelchairs or walkers.

#10 Citi Trends
2217 Bessemer Rd, Birmingham, AL 35208
Monday: [10 AM-9 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-9 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-9 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-9 PM], Friday: [10 AM-9 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-9 PM], Sunday: [12-6 PM]
Citi Trends, from what I can gather, is an option if you need a quick fashion fix. It seems to be a place in Birmingham with clothes for everybody, plus shoes and accessories too. People often mention the prices being hard to beat, and that you can get everything done there. I've read reviews where people are impressed by a clean store and staff ready to help you out, which is more than you can say about some places these days, wouldn't you agree?
From what I'm gathering, apparently they really do have good prices and loads of different stuff to pick from, especially for kids, which I appreciate. I've seen online that folks say the staff is friendly and that they can find something for anyone, which sounds nice. A lot of people bring up how organized the place is, and also that they have medical scrubs, that's cool, right? However, it's been mentioned some stuff may not always fit as expected, and maybe sometimes the store is a little cluttered or the selection is thin.

#11 Dark Bull Vintage
90 Digbeth, Birmingham B5 6DY, United Kingdom
Monday: [10 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-5 PM]
Dark Bull Vintage definitely sounds more like a barber shop than a place to buy clothes, from what people are saying. While it's probably not the spot if you're after retail therapy, it seems like a decent place to get a haircut, beard trim, or some styling done in a pretty chill environment. Plus, apparently they offer drinks? What a bonus. The reviews keep mentioning that the staff are friendly and give off professional vibes so that's always a good thing.
People seem pretty happy with the experience there; many specifically call out barbers like Darren, Dane, and Dom. Folks are saying they're skilled, great to chat with, and really listen to what you want. It also sounds like they give good advice and offer haircuts at reasonable prices, which is a win-win. Plus, the location being near Selfridges is convenient. There were a few dud experiences, I think one person said they had an issue with a barber named Dan, claiming he was unprofessional and rude, and someone else had a missed appointment. But the overwhelming consensus is pretty positive, though, where some even got a free drink. It's possible to have some drinks in the store, some even had karaoke.

Zam Zam Islamic Store Ltd in Birmingham seems to be quite a spot if you're needing Islamic clothing, I hear. Word on the street is that they stock basically everything; from Jubbas to Abayas and hijabs, and I suppose they have stuff for men, women and even the little ones. Plus, it looks like they have books and gifts, even perfumes and Hajj stuff, which is pretty neat.
From what I’m seeing online, a lot of people rave about the customer service; apparently, the staff are super helpful and go out of their way to help you find what you need, which is always a plus. I also see tons of comments about the wide selection and good quality for the price, but I suppose there's some mixed reviews in there, too. There were a few comments about some higher prices on some of the items, quality control issues in some instances, along with some comments about the store environment, but mostly good stuff from what I can tell.

#13 Yours Clothing

Yours Clothing in Birmingham – it's a plus-size store, right? They do have a pretty broad selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories for women, plus a few things for guys too. For anyone looking for trendy clothes in bigger sizes, Yours is a solid option, especially if you're in Birmingham and hoping to try clothes on. You could probably find anything from casual everyday outfits to dresses for going out, not to mention jewelry and shoes to make a whole look.
Honestly, you hear the best things about the staff at Yours; plenty of people mention how friendly and helpful they are. Finding stylish clothes that actually fit when you're plus-size can feel impossible, so it's cool that they focus on comfortable, flattering designs. People rave about the prices, too, especially when they have a sale. Some reviewers did say the clothes could be better quality or that they don't have enough colorful, feminine options, which is an important point. But most agree it is a decent place to shop.

I've heard about Almanaar Islamic Store in Birmingham, and it sounds like a good place to get Islamic stuff. They're supposed to carry, like, basically everything, from clothes – abayas and thobes for men, women, and kids – to perfumes and books and prayer mats, plus home decor. And I think they even stock some food items; I read that. Apparently, people shopping around Birmingham for Islamic fashion should check it out, or so I hear since the selection's really big, especially since they are now selling things like bakhoor and stuff. I've heard there could be a lot of products so you can get everything at one place!
Anyway, people seem to love Almanaar 'cause they've got a ton of stuff. I saw, in a review, someone mentioned they had great service, too, also some peeps said the staff's super helpful. It seemed people said, the shop itself is generally a nice experience. You can find good perfumes, clothing, and all sorts of Islamic bits and bobs, plus people seem to really appreciate that their prices are pretty decent and they have sales sometimes, I think. Also, the shop helps donate to the local mosques. They also have all sorts of gift ideas!

#15 Simply 10
2209 Bessemer Rd, Birmingham, AL 35208

Simply 10 is this clothing store in Birmingham, you know, the one where everything is super cheap. It's got tons of different things, like, clothing, shoes, jewelry, all that jazz, and apparently the prices are crazy low. People rave about how you can find basically anything there - from everyday wear to, supposedly, a decent plus-size selection, which is kinda hard to find sometimes, really and everything is almost always ten bucks or less, can you believe it. It's probably good if you're trying to look stylish without draining your bank account.
I heard people say that it’s their go-to for the "best deals" and that they are able to find entire looks for, like, next to nothing which is wild. Plus, some people say they have awesome name brands, which, if true, is a great find, but some have said not all is good. It sounds a good place to shop if you are seeking a variety of clothing. It seems, if I looked at the reviews right, that some customers have run into some problems with the staff or lines, or maybe the arrangement of everything, but it looks to have some awesome deals.

#17 Ashley Stewart
1632 Montclair Rd #100, Birmingham, AL 35210

Reiss in Birmingham is worth checking out if you need something fancy, especially for weddings or events; they carry high-end formal and occasional wear for both guys and girls. Apparently, there's a decent selection of suits and dresses to choose from, but the women's section is upstairs, which is slightly annoying since there's no elevator. I heard you can find something great if you’re looking for quality.
Honestly, it sounds the service there can be really hit or miss, but overall people are pleased. I mean, a ton of customers gave shout-outs to specific employees. Fatima, Aroz, Elliott, Luther, Chris, Rebecca, Arran, Casha, Rhianna, Georgia, Sean, Josh, Matt and Kasia all have fans. People were really impressed by how helpful and friendly everyone was, and really appreciated not feeling pressured to buy anything. One review in particular mentioned Michelle going above and beyond to help her out with her baby, that's something you don't hear often. Although there are some complaints about rude or dismissive staff, feeling judged, and the men’s fitting rooms apparently being super small, so just a heads up.

#20 COS
Bullring Shopping Centre Bullring, 4 Moor St, Birmingham B5 4BF, United Kingdom

COS in Birmingham, situated in the Bullring, looks to be a clothing shop specializing in contemporary, minimalist designs, you know, with that Scandinavian feel, and they seem to offer clothes for pretty much everyone. It definitely seems like it is a great place to find good quality clothing for everyday stuff or maybe even something a bit more dressy, and from what I can gather, the layout is usually pretty great, all bright and airy, and they use these natural materials that make a difference. If you're on the hunt for a clothing store that is different from the norm, looking at COS might be a nice option.
What I've seen a lot of people comment on is the staff being super friendly and helpful, so that is always a plus. People specifically mention Grace, Jillian, Aaliya, Orlane, Jacob, and Julia, like they really know their stuff when it comes to styling which is a nice touch. It feels like the clothes are of high quality and the designs are really unique without being super expensive, which is an obvious win, and that goes a long way. But I did see a few reviewers mentioning having negative experiences with online orders - like they would cite delays and that items were sometimes damaged upon arrival, also a few comments about quality of materials not being consistent and staff being rude. But those instances do seem to be minimal.

#21 Selfridges Birmingham
The Bullring, Upper Mall East, Birmingham B5 4BP, United Kingdom
Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-5:30 PM]
Selfridges in Birmingham? It's this massive department store spread across several floors. Honestly, you could find almost anything in there, from designer duds to slightly more reasonable priced bits. They have clothing for women, menswear, beauty products, homeware... the whole shebang, really. Plus, there's even a pretty decent food hall if you end up needing a snack break while you're doing your thing. You can definitely find something in your budget to buy, which is handy in the current economic climate.
One of the best things about Selfridges, from what I hear, is the staff; a lot of folks rave about how helpful and nice everyone is. They seem to go above and beyond to help you find what you need. People seem to enjoy the design, too, but its not that accessible if you have mobility issues. Loads of people give props to the layout since it is pretty easy to navigate; that makes shopping a total breeze. The food hall gets a lot of love as well because there's a lot of sweets, a bit much depending on your perspective.

#22 Cow Vintage
82-85 Digbeth, Birmingham B5 6DY, United Kingdom
Monday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-5 PM]
Cow Vintage in Birmingham is a total treasure trove if you're into vintage or reworked clothes, seriously. What's so cool is they've got such a massive range of stuff, apparently, with prices that are actually fairly reasonable for the quality, it sounds like a lot of pieces feel designer or one-of-a-kind. It really seems like they're giving people an alternative to just hitting up the same old high street stores, which is nice since sometimes you just need something different you know?
I heard the staff are super friendly and the store's layout is well organized, so it's easy to browse all the cool stuff. Plenty of people have snagged some seriously unique finds, from vintage jackets and denim to designer collaborations and even Harley Davidson jackets. Sure, some people think the prices are a little high, with some items being overpriced; the feedback also mentions a lack of bigger sizes which is a total bummer. They seem to restore clothing and give it a second life, I should visit here sometime since that's pretty neat.

Foot Locker on 5 Points S is a place you can find athletic shoes; Air Jordans, Adidas, and Rebook are some of the brands available. If someone is trying to find some great sneakers around Birmingham, this might be the place, although I heard rumors they might be remodeling soon, or something.
The staff seems to get a lot of praise, with multiple reviewers calling out employees by name, mentioning Justin and Coco specifically for their, apparently, incredible customer service. People are really into a clean store, it seems, and several mentioned how clean it was, and some even got deals. Others mentioned the staff was super attentive, and knew their stuff, finding them the right shoe - even for those who needed something specific, due to work. Sometimes, though, customers experience less than stellar service, such as a non-answered phone, an understaffed floor, or a missing initial greeting. Sizes being out of stock is another complaint I keep seeing.

Birmingham's Rainbow Shops seem to be a spot where you can grab some decent clothes without emptying your wallet. They've got a little bit of everything, you know, clothes and accessories, plus they carry stuff for kids which is useful. I noticed people mentioning good deals, especially when the sales are going on, and they find some pretty cute outfits. It does seem handy if you need something fast and don't want to blow your whole paycheck.
Apparently, loads of people rave about the price, styles, and the sheer amount of choices when it comes to clothes and shoes at Rainbow. And, honestly, who doesn't appreciate a good deal on kid's clothes? A few people specifically pointed out the staff at the Dennison location being super helpful and friendly, which is always a plus. Also, people appreciate that the store is tidy and well-organized, makes shopping way easier, you know? Though, there were some complaints. I think, as long as you have patience, and don't go at closing time, you should be fine.

Urban Outfitters in Birmingham is a pretty cool place to shop for clothes because they have tons of indie brands you don’t really see anywhere else. They've got a crazy range of stuff too, I mean clothes, obviously, but also accessories, home decor, books, and even music – most of it with this retro, kinda quirky vibe. Some people say it’s a bit of a mess in there, more like a jumble sale situation really, but they do have a diverse range of styles that are appealing to everyone, even guys. Prices tend to be more expensive, though, I mean than your average mall retailer, if you’re tryna be cost effective.
Customers really dig the unique clothing options; people are always picking up gifts there and finding stuff you just don't see at other stores. It seems like a lot of the reviews mention the staff being super friendly and helpful, a few shoppers even named dropped specific people who gave them great customer service. The layout of the place and the selection of styles get props too, especially those retro and vintage vibes. I guess a couple of shoppers have had issues with the high prices, and long lines, there can be staff members who are rude sometimes. I did read somewhere that the sizing isn’t really body-positive friendly, I mean but I am just here to help you rewrite the sentence.

#26 Simply 10
2500 Crestwood Blvd #500, Birmingham, AL 35210
Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [1-6 PM]
Simply 10, in Birmingham, is a store that stocks quite a bit of cute stuff for us women. It carries a variety of sizes, which is cool, from juniors to plus sizes, and they really do seem to have everything; tees, jeans, dresses, you name it. They also sell accessories, it's a lot and there is so many choices and everything is typically ten dollars – or maybe 10.99 these days, inflation hits us all eventually, so it's pretty reasonable even then.
From what I'm hearing, people are really happy with the store. They mention the prices of course, but also the great deals and the big selection is amazing. Some have been able to find name brands for way less than you'd expect which is truly awesome. It sounds like they keep the place pretty organized, and many are saying the staff is super friendly, especially this Winter and Ms. Debra -- people seem to like finding unique pieces there that get them compliments. Not everyone's experience is perfect, though, I read some stuff about inconsistent service, and other people had issues with returns.

#27 The Oasis fashion store

It's wild that Birmingham has a place like The Oasis, right? It sounds like a bit of everything thrown together, and people seem to really appreciate that. I mean, where else can you snag a Sex Pistols denim jacket *and* get a new piercing, I think it's a place for all things vintage to hippy. Plus the fact that they have retro gaming, it is definitely worth a look around even if you're just window shopping, honestly.
Word on the street is the atmosphere is really what makes it special, and the peeps who work there are genuinely helpful, which isn't always the case. The vinyl record shop, apparently, is a total gem, and the owner is super knowledgeable, which is a dying art these days, isn't it? It's good to know they take care of you when piercing your body. Though I've heard a thing or two where maybe the jewelry falls apart too fast, which is a total bummer, I'd double check before buying jewelry.

Roses Express in Birmingham seems like it could be a lifesaver. If you're hunting for deals, this place is worth checking out, supposedly they have a bunch of different stuff; I read reviews raving about clothing, stuff for the house, even yard decorations, basically a one-stop shop for your retail needs. The main draw, I'm seeing, is how affordable everything is, especially great if you're trying to save a coin.
What people are saying is they loved the cool stuff and the helpful employees, the prices are reasonable too; seems like a win. I've seen a few comments that say that they found random cute things you won't see somewhere common, which is a big plus, right? Some people did point out the customer service can be hit or miss, and also noted some rude cashiers but management overall are nice, hopefully that's not usually the case.

I keep hearing about the Primark in Birmingham, apparently, it's supposed to be the biggest one in the world. With clothes for women, men, and kids, plus all kinds of home stuff too – who would expect anything less, to be honest? I saw on one of the reviews, that they even sell like, NBA goods, which is wild. From what I can tell, you can get basics as well as stuff that's a bit more trendy and things from Disney or Harry Potter. There's cafes inside, even a barbers, which is nice.
Honestly, a lot of the reviews I've read are about how much stuff they have and how cheap it all is. People really seem to like the Disney Cafe and the themed collections. The quality is supposed to be decent for the price too, particularly for things such as home goods. I saw one review that said they found current fashionable clothes for their children. Customer service is good; one person said a cashier named Muthahim was super kind and helpful. Sometimes it gets crowded, and maybe the stock is inconsistent for sizes, but they have a lot of good items.

River Island in Birmingham has a pretty good selection, you can find trendy clothes for basically everyone. It's a pretty standard shop and you can get shoes, bags, and a bunch of accessories too, they've got quite a bit to offer. They're always doing sales, which is great because sometimes their stuff is a little overpriced, if you ask me. I heard that some locations have these crazy high-tech fitting rooms, which would be cool, the store layouts are usually modern.
I've read reviews of people praising the staff at River Island, and it seems most have had pretty positive experiences. A lot of the positive reviews mention how friendly and helpful the staff are. A good amount of shoppers love the variety of styles you can find there. Their clothes is pretty well-made, and most times the store is organized, easy to shop in. They also do personal shopping, which is really great. A lot of folks appreciate that they carry plus sizes too.

Matalan over in Birmingham seems like a pretty decent option if you're looking for a sizable clothing store. They've got clothes for everyone - men, women, kids, plus a good bit of homeware. The prices sound competitive, or what I'd think of as reasonable, and from what I gather, finding a parking spot shouldn't be an issue.
People who shop there seem to appreciate that you can get clothing and home stuff all in one go and also that the staff are generally helpful, especially if you can track someone down. The car park is large but some people have mentioned that they've experienced less stock available or, at least they didn't find what they were looking for. Then there's the clean air zone charge, which is a bummer that seems to have caught a few people out. I've seen some complaints about queues too, which is typical of bargain stores.

H&M in Birmingham spans several floors, offering a pretty extensive selection of clothes and accessories for basically everyone – men, women, kids – and even has a home goods section, which is a major win, in my opinion. What's so good is, this store is known for its on-trend stuff and prices that usually don't break the bank, plus they always seem to have sales going on. It makes it a go-to for snagging fashionable pieces without totally emptying your wallet, which I appreciate. Some customers really think that they are the best clothing store in Birmingham when it comes to the value for the money, and the great selection of products that are available.
There's been a lot of praise for H&M too; you'll see shoppers talk about the wide variety of clothing options and the fact that, like I said, it's actually affordable and their stylish design. I feel they're on top of things when it comes to keeping up with the trends! They are one of the most reasonable stores. People really seem to get into the home section. A number of people like how the store is arranged and find the staff to be helpful and friendly. I hear the student discount is a bonus as well as how they carry clothes for basically any age and occasion. I hate when the sizing is inconsistent, even if the occasional negative customer service experience or disorganization can be annoying if the place is messy.

And because they do specialize in formal wear, you'll be able to find things that are appropriate for the office and special occasions. If you are looking for clothing stores to check out in Birmingham, Charles Tyrwhitt also has online shopping available, so there are options for everyone.
What's kinda cool is a lot of customers rave about the customer service. A lot of reviews keep mentioning people by name, Richard, Ann, and Simon, and that they give really helpful advice. Staff members make sure you're getting the right fit and aren't afraid to go the extra mile, which can really make the experience worth it. The pricing seems pretty reasonable too, with people consistently mentioning the great selection of books, clothes, and perfumes; also, the good quality of items that are imported from Dubai.
