#1 COACH
350 N Milwaukee St SPACE #1164, Boise, ID 83704
Monday: [11 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [11 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [11 AM-8 PM], Friday: [11 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-7 PM]
Coach, just a stone's throw away, is pretty well-known around Boise, especially if you're into really nice leather stuff. They've got practically everything, from cute handbags and wallets to jewelry and even perfume; it's quite the selection. Though, honestly, I think their bags are really what everyone goes for. The store really nails it when it comes to having different styles for, well, different types of people, which is great.
Seriously, people rave about the customer service at Coach. Apparently, the staff is super friendly and always ready to help you find what you want and they really know their stuff. I heard the store itself is kept really clean and it's easy to navigate. Someone told me once they make you feel practically like you have your own personal shopper, which honestly sounds amazing. I think sometimes there is a price discrepancy but overall they have the reputation to have excellent customer service. And ultimately, everyone seems to love the quality of their bags too, so it sounds like it's a good place to check out.

#2 Boise State Bronco Shop
1910 W University Dr, Boise, ID 83725
Monday: [9 AM-5 PM], Tuesday: [9 AM-5 PM], Wednesday: [9 AM-5 PM], Thursday: [9 AM-5 PM], Friday: [9 AM-5 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-4 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
The Bronco Shop is that store near me in Boise where you can literally get anything with the Boise State logo slapped on it. Apparel, random trinkets, you name it, if it reps the Broncos, they probably got it. For real, it's the ultimate spot for fans trying to showcase their blue and orange pride, and who isn't trying to do that?
People generally rave about the Bronco Shop, saying it's the best when it comes to getting BSU gear. They have pretty good prices, and honestly, it's so helpful that the staff know the inventory so well. So many choices from clothes to useful school supplies, and your purchase helps support students; what's not to adore? Some customers have mentioned that certain items aren't priced and that they've had to use their phones to see how much items cost, which would be annoying. Plus, I've heard that the return policy isn't great with only 30 days allowed, but regardless, for the most part, it sounds like the experience is still pretty awesome.

#3 Indy Clover
1742 W State St, Boise, ID 83702
Monday: [10 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
Indy Clover in Boise is this cool clothing store, and it's consignment, but not how you'd expect. They give folks the space to sell their clothes, curating their own little pop-up shop where you can price things how you want, which is pretty awesome, in my opinion, but I'm not sure if there are more opportunities like this one around town. The whole weekly refresh thing keeps it from being boring, you know? I heard they have stuff like those floral prints and checkered patterns, I feel like that would be right up my alley.
I've been seeing a lot of chatter online saying how helpful the staff is, which is always a big plus, and they keep the store super clean. A review also said something about how fun it is to sell clothes there. It is a bummer, though, that they apparently don't take cash. I've also heard that setting up a booth is easy, and you can make some good money if you price things right! There was mention about the store being great at describing the clothing items and their sizes. People seem pretty into their social media. I hope that they open a store in Meridian sometime soon!

#4 Eddie Bauer
350 N Milwaukee St #1321, Boise, ID 83704
Monday: [11 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [11 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [11 AM-7 PM], Friday: [11 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-6 PM]
Eddie Bauer in Boise definitely has a rep, you know? It's supposed to be the place to go for really good quality clothes, especially if you're into the outdoorsy thing or just want some nice, casual outfits. From what I've heard, they have a pretty wide selection, I think like trail clothes and even stuff you could wear to work, which is helpful. People are always saying it's worth checking out if you want clothes that will last and actually look good.
Honestly, most of what I've heard is positive, actually. It's good to know the employees are helpful because who has the time to hunt for items these days? One person told me about some pants they got a while ago. They had a zipper issue and the staff totally went above and beyond, which is a relief. They've got some good sales to look out for too, and returns are apparently super easy to deal with. The prices might be a little high, I suppose, but everyone says the clothes are worth it in the long run, which is all that matters for quality and durability. I haven't been in person yet.

#5 BANANA ink
214 N 9th St, Boise, ID 83702
Monday: [10 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-4 PM]
Banana Ink is this cool boutique-y store in downtown Boise that's all about Idaho pride; they're selling tees, hats, even home stuff that shows love for the Gem State. I mean, it's pretty neat how they take the outline of Idaho and turn it into art for their stuff, they just nail it.
What's super cool is that people seem to really dig the quality of the things they sell at Banana Ink and also the staff being really helpful which isn't always the case. Plus, they're into supporting local artists, which I find admirable. You know, it might be a *little* pricey, but I've heard people are fans of the downtown spot, and how easily its reached by tourists and residents, also people note on the store's clever and creative designs. Someone did mention a bad experience once, hopefully it was just a one-off.

#6 Purple Lotus
5613 W Overland Rd, Boise, ID 83705
Monday: [11 AM-9 PM], Tuesday: [11 AM-9 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-9 PM], Thursday: [11 AM-9 PM], Friday: [11 AM-9 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-9 PM], Sunday: [12-8 PM]
Purple Lotus, located in Boise, seems to have a really awesome and diverse collection if you're into eclectic stuff. They apparently have everything from crystals and apparel to costumes and cool trinkets; you could seriously spend hours just browsing. A ton of local artists are featured there, too, which is pretty great because you can find some truly unique stuff, it sounds like.
What people seem to rave about, besides the selection, is the staff—super friendly and helpful, or so I've heard. Customers also appreciate the way they support local artists. I mean, what's not to love about that? Apparently, the store has a great vibe and atmosphere, too, described as positive and welcoming, so what if you went in a bad mood, you might come out feeling a little bit better! Even the rave wear selection gets a good shout, though, tbh, I'm not sure I would wear any of that. All in all, even with some mixed reviews here and there about pricing, it sounds like Purple Lotus is a place worth checking out for those one-of-a-kind gifts or maybe just something fun for yourself.

#7 No New Vintage
Foster Building, 409 S 8th St #101, Boise, ID 83702
Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [11 AM-5 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-5 PM], Thursday: [11 AM-5 PM], Friday: [11 AM-5 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-5 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-2 PM]
No New Vintage in Boise is definitely a vintage clothing store to keep on your radar, if you're into that sort of thing. I've heard they really nail the curation thing, which I think is super important with vintage; you don't want to sift through a bunch of junk, y'know? They seem to have a solid range, going from flared pants (which are having a major moment again) and those classic vintage tees everyone is obsessed with, all the way to denim that actually lasts and some cool accessories. The selection is always changing I guess, which is good because it means there's probably always something new that you can find.
It sounds as though people are finding crazy pieces, at reasonable prices, and the staff is really friendly and helpful, which I always appreciate. A lot of customers mentioned the sense of community there too, and how passionate the owners are about vintage. They found some pieces they use a lot and people get compliments on what they buy. While some shoppers have said the prices may be a little higher than other vintage spots or that the staff could be more present, it still seems the atmosphere, especially being in an old brick building, adds to the vibes. So, yeah, it sounds like a worthwhile place to check if you're into vintage or just want something that’s not cookie-cutter.

Uptown Cheapskate on Broadway in Boise is on my radar as a place to check out; I've heard it's got a solid reputation. Apparently they have racks and racks of gently used clothes, shoes, and accessories, which is great for someone who likes to change up their closet on a budget. I think it's pretty cool how people are looking for designer finds. It seems like they have a mix of brands and styles, with vintage and designer pieces sprinkled in, without costing a fortune.
Word on the street is people are really happy with the quality and selection there. I've read online that the staff is always ready to lend a hand. Plus, many say the store is super clean, which, lets be honest, is not always the case for places like that. It's also a bonus that they buy clothes, giving you a chance to refresh your wardrobe while making a little cash (or store credit!). I've heard some say they've scored awesome deals on brands such as Patagonia, The North Face, and LuluLemon. Of course, some mention the selection for menswear and larger sizes can be spotty, however, for many Boise shoppers, Uptown Cheapskate is the go-to spot.

Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-5 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
Bespoke Custom Suits is apparently *the* place to go in Boise if you're after a killer suit. I've heard they do everything from wedding tuxedos to casual wool jackets, even shirts, which, honestly, is a wardrobe upgrade waiting to happen. People say the team there is just super professional and really get into the details, so you end up with something unique that actually fits, I can't imagine wearing something that doesn't fit perfect.
Everyone raves about their service; it is said that Travis and Colin walk you through everything, fabric choices, styles, the whole shebang. Lots of people have also said that they've pulled off some crazy deadlines without sacrificing quality; apparently they are miracle workers. It seems women who want a suit, not a dress, are also loving Bespoke because of their skill with a feminine silhouette. They made a customer an amazing suit that looked amazing and fit perfectly, the reviewer was also impressed with the level of dedication. Just maybe watch your GPS getting there; you don't want to be late to your perfect suit appointment!

Pi Baby Boutique sounds exactly where you'd want to find baby and toddler stuff around here in Boise. They seem to have it all, from those ridiculously cute tiny outfits and super sturdy furniture, along with practical stuff as car seats and strollers. Plus, people say they carry a bunch of top brands, which is always nice when you want the quality that works.
What I've been seeing is most people just rave about the customer service, saying the staff is pretty helpful and friendly and really goes out of their way. Some highlight the selection of those fancy cloth diapers and baby carriers and also unique things that's not usually sold everywhere else. Seems some had good online experiences and appreciated the fast shipping, well, others apparently had issues with response times to questions regarding their online orders. For the most part, though, it seems Pi Baby Boutique is a great option if you want to find all sort of adorable things for your little one.

Idaho River Sports seems to be *the* place around Boise for anything related to water sports; apparently, they have kayaks, paddle boards, the whole shebang. Word is they're super helpful, especially if you're new to, you know, being on the water. They even let you test drive the equipment before you buy, which is pretty cool; it's good to know you can try something before you spend all your money on it.
People rave about their customer service and extensive product selection. Plus, they do rentals right next to the Simplot park and ponds, which makes it easy to try stuff out. From what I've heard, they've gotten involved in community events, giving out free hot chocolate and cookies during the holidays. There can be some confusion regarding warranty stuff, it's also easy to check their hours across different platforms just to be sure. Overall, though, Idaho River Sports seems to be a good bet if you're looking for water sports equipment around here.

Petersen's Clothing Inc comes up a lot when folks are looking for a solid place for suits and formal wear in Boise; seems people really appreciate them. Word on the street is they specialize in suits and business-y type stuff, though I’ve heard they do carry quite the range of accessories too. One thing you keep hearing is how friendly their staff is, and how good they are at giving advice; and people like that they're attentive. From what I've been told, the selection's usually top-notch, and the prices are pretty reasonable, too which is definitely a bonus these days. From what I can gather, people seem mostly pleased with their experiences at Shadows. Lots of reviewers mention the friendly staff, quality products, and how efficient they are even with large orders. Customers really praised individuals such as Alexa, Leisa, Maci, and Lori and how they helped them and the company. What is really neat, parents can actually sell their kids' clothes there; especially if they're still in good condition and it sounds like that can be a total lifesaver.

It seems that the store is somewhere you can get your hair cut and maybe snag some cool clothes, sounds perfect for him because he is always needing a new shirt.
Based on all the reviews, it seems they really nail the barber thing; people are always talking about Chris and Ryan, how skilled they are, and that they really pay attention to detail which is definitely something that he needs. Zumiez, that place in Boise, yeah it's got all the cool stuff for skaters and snowboarders - boards, clothes, the whole shebang. They definitely seem to know their target audience, and I guess there isn't anything quite like a place that caters to younger crowds and anyone else looking to get into skating. It's great they have a focus.
People seem to really dig the customer service at Zumiez; apparently, they've got some employees who are total rockstars. David and Nicolas get shout-outs from many reviews, who can explain all the technical details about skateboards and longboards. Plus, it sounds like they're good at finding the right gear at prices that don't break the bank. While some people had issues with returns or maybe ran into a less-than-stellar employee, I think this is still pretty nice for a modern clothing and equipment supplier.

Torrid's a pretty popular spot in Boise for plus-size clothes, which is awesome. They have, seriously, everything – swimwear, everyday stuff, fancier dresses, even shoes which it's so hard to find in my size. The styles are actually trendy, and you don't feel you are stuck in plus size from 2002.
I've heard people rave about the staff at Torrid, seems they know their stuff. It's helpful when people help you find cute clothes, especially bra's! Their rewards program is worthwhile, lots of people seem to use it. Not everything's perfect, though; I have heard the swimwear sizing is off, and everything can be pricier. Still, it's cool that they're doing their best to cater to us curvy girls, and I do think that they know their customer.

#25 Gap Factory
350 N Milwaukee St #1306, Boise, ID 83704
Gap Factory's a pretty solid clothing choice around Boise, especially if you're on the hunt for, well, a lot of stuff. They've got your basics, your kiddos' clothes, baby stuff that's actually cute, and even a body section, whatever that exactly means. I hear their style is on the simpler side, which is nice sometimes, and people seem to swear by their jeans, saying that they are super nice. Plus, I have it on good authority that they have a lot of cotton items, which is really important to me these days.
Honestly, you can't beat Gap Factory for deals, especially if you catch a good sale day. Some of the reviews I've read practically gush about the staff, saying they are helpful and know their stuff, but not everyone is so lucky. A few folks have mentioned that the in-store selection can be a miss or hit, and that they can be a little pricey for what is it; ultimately fast fashion. The baby clothes and jeans are often raved about for their quality and style, and at the end of the day, Gap Factory is a reasonable option if you are in the mood to check it out.

Hollister in Boise is supposedly a spot to check out if you’re looking for pretty stylish clothes, particularly their weather-appropriate designs are great. You know, for being in Idaho. They apparently have a decent selection, lots of jeans and sweatshirts, if that's your style. It seems like a place where you can find something cute that fits the general trends right now, which for some, that’s all that matters.
A lot of reviews rave about the customer service, which is always a plus; people mentioning friendly and helpful staff who are attentive. Others said it's usually kept super clean and organized, making it easy to shop. I did see a few complaints about a lack of larger sizes, and some who had difficulties with returns, as well as claims of unprofessional employees, so it's not all sunshine. Plus, I've read where sometimes you can get incredible deals there, which make getting good quality things within reach and they have a nice atmosphere too!

Lane Bryant in Boise is apparently a go-to spot if you need plus-size options, particularly bras. I’ve heard their clothes are cute and that the staff is pretty amazing. Plus, the store's clean, so it makes the whole shopping experience even better, right?
From what I hear, the associates really go the extra mile to help you find what you need, and some people have found bras there that actually fit, which, let's be real, is a major win. There's been a couple of comments made by people saying there was not enough people working there at the time of visit, and some people are saying that the return policy isn't great paying with Paypal. The clothes apparently last a long time compared to buying, ya know, that fast fashion stuff, so it might be worth checking out even with those mixed reviews.

DICK'S Sporting Goods, you know, the one in Boise, seems to be a pretty popular spot, at least from what I've heard. They supposedly have a huge range of stuff, from all the sports equipment to the clothes. I think it’s more than that, though. Some people mentioned that they’ve found things there they couldn't get anywhere else, which is certainly a bonus. I keep hearing that they've got everything someone might need, whether for outdoor activities or your basic gym workout. I heard that Ariana Mathis is very knowledgeable.
From what people are saying, the staff can be super helpful; several people pointed out the shoe department, in particular, with those employees actually knowing what they're talking about. Plus, it sounds there's a loyalty program of some sort and sales all the time, which is always a good incentive, right? On the downside, while some people had good experiences with customer service, a few others said the opposite, claiming the staff were undertrained. It seems that prices can be a bit higher than competing stores. But overall, DICK'S is evidently a pretty solid place for a ton of sports needs.

Victoria's Secret & PINK in Boise is a pretty well-known store, I guess. They're all about that girly aesthetic with bras, panties, lingerie, workout gear, and all the sparkly things that make you feel just a little bit extra. Plus, they have perfumes and lotions, if you're into that sort of thing.
A lot of people talk about how awesome the staff is; super helpful and really knows their stuff, which is a relief. And you hear a lot about how the bras and panties are such good quality, its really good, and cute. Some reviewers say the store itself is always organized and pretty clean, which is always appreciated. The checkout lines can be kinda long sometimes, so maybe going when it's not super busy is ideal. I also wonder if they could do more to extend it's sizing options and the availability of plus sizes.

Spencer's in Boise is one of those stores; you know the one. It’s got an interesting selection of things that are definitely not available everywhere. Some people might call it edgy, I think it's just a fun spot to grab something a bit out of the ordinary, maybe a gift for that friend who’s got a wild sense of humor. They have a little bit of everything, starting with t-shirts and hats to stuff for the bedroom, if that's your thing.
What’s cool is that many people seem to have really positive experiences. People have mentioned how helpful the staff are, which is always a plus. Plus, there’s usually some kind of promotion happening, and who doesn't appreciate a good deal? It can get a little crowded, and I've heard complaints regarding their return policies; however, the overall vibe seems to be a fun place to shop. Overall if you're ever nearby; I’ve also seen reviews saying they have helpful people working there, so I'd say give it a shot.

Uptown Cheapskate in West Boise comes up frequently in conversations with my friends, and yeah they do have a good rep. You can find surprisingly trendy and pretty decent quality stuff in there, and it doesn't feel like you're robbing a bank to buy them. I noticed they apparently carry bigger name brands too like Madewell, Anthropologie, and Lululemon that don't totally break the bank. Plus, there is a pretty cool consignment deal they have going on; I guess you can bring in your old threads and they'll give you either cash or store credit for them.
From what I hear from other people, the staff are super nice and helpful, which is, sadly, kind of hard to come by these days. People have also told me the store’s really organized and clean, which is a massive plus for a resale shop. I've heard about the big sales they have too where you can score things for dirt cheap, which sounds awesome. While some people seem to think their pricing can be a little high and that it can be challenging to find items for certain sizes/demographics, most people seem to be pretty happy with the place. Sounds like it is one of the better clothing stores Boise has to offer.

Dillard's in Boise seems to cover all the bases when it comes to shopping for clothes and beauty stuff; they’ve got sections for everyone: men, women, kids, so that's convenient. Word on the street is they really do carry practically everything from outfits and shoes to all the makeup and perfume you could ever need, plus a ton of brands, which is a plus when you're trying to find that perfect something.
Honestly, a lot of people rave about the customer service, and it's said the staff is genuinely helpful and knows their stuff. Knowing that it would be amazing to feel confident that someone can actually help you find what you’re looking for! Good news, I suppose, you get what you pay for, though, from what I'm seeing. But the reviews I've read seem very favorable, particularly in the mens department.

Nordstrom Rack near me is a legit option if you're in Boise and need stuff. It's got clothes, shoes, and accessories for basically everyone, so it's pretty inclusive in that sense. I've noticed that they carry some decent brands, and the prices are usually more reasonable, so maybe you'll find a good steal. They also have beauty stuff and home decor, which is cool if you wanna get everything in one go, I can appreciate a department store setup.
People seem to really dig their sales; they have this whole clearance thing that can be a gold mine. The store's actually got a solid range of clothes and shoes, and that organization isn't terrible either, to be honest. The reviews I've read always mention the employees being nice and helpful, which is always a plus. I heard sometimes you might wait in line for awhile to pay, and the return process is confusing for some, so I wouldn't sleep on it. Ultimately, Nordstrom Rack is worth checking out, especially if you're looking for a deal; you might have some luck.

H&M in Boise seems to have a pretty good reputation for having a variety of clothes, which is always a win. They carry trendy stuff as well as basics, and apparently, the prices are fairly reasonable? It's nice to know there's a place to grab clothes without totally emptying your wallet. I have heard mixed reviews, however, some negative reviews suggest their customer service isn't good, but the general gist is that the staff are usually friendly and helpful, so, you know, grain of salt and such.
From what I can gather, people especially like the selection for teens and kids there which is cool because it can be tough to find decent stuff for that age group. Plus, I saw a lot of comments talking about how they offer a discount when you bring in old clothes for recycling. I think it's awesome when stores try to do their part, though I have read some reviews regarding how you might find discrepancies on the prices of items, so watch out for that. All in all, it sounds like a good option if you're looking for clothes in Boise but that prices aren't everything.

Express in Boise is a solid option if you're on the hunt for something stylish; they really do cover all the bases when it comes to clothing. From what I've heard, you can find everything from killer dresses to professional suits, along with the usual shirts and jeans, so it feels relatively diverse. It’s pretty cool that they have options for both men and women.
The real draw, though, seems to be the people who work there, but it's not consistent. Adrian and Tammy, in particular, get a ton of shout-outs for really going the extra mile to help people find exactly what they need. Customers keep mentioning how clean and organized the store is, plus the clothes are supposedly pretty good quality, I guess. I hear it can get a little expensive without sales, yet there are frequent promotions, so that helps.

I think it's nice to go where the staff are described as helpful, professional, and friendly, and some say the place almost feels spa-like. What's more is that it's said that the clothes fit really well and are made to last. Parents, and grandparents, tend to like this place, especially to find something that cute and won't break the bank.

Some reviews mention friendly employees who are there to assist, which is always a plus. A few people have mentioned having not the best experience with customer service, especially regarding online orders or refunds, but you're going to find that in any business. It's really nice they're accommodating to breastfeeding moms, which makes the whole store feel way more welcoming. Plus, their sales are really good, which is why a lot of shoppers are obsessed with the store. Macy's in Boise is a pretty standard department store, stocked with tons of clothes, cosmetics, and, you know, all that home stuff. I can usually find what I need between dresses, jeans, and work clothes, but honestly, the real win is the customer service. The staff are usually friendly and know their products, and I can always find someone happy to help me find the right shade of lipstick. I've always liked the Clinique makeup and skincare product sets. There's one associate, Lori, I think at the Lancome counter, who's seriously amazing; she helped me find the perfect foundation for my skin tone.
Sales are a definite perk, which make some of the higher-end brands a little less painful to buy; though it can be confusing what things cost. Most of the time, I end up buying Macy's brand stuff anyway, I mean it just has a good reputation. While sometimes the store is a little messy and finding someone isn't easy, they do have a great selection and it's close, it isn't the worst place to shop for gifts. Plus, there is a nice smell when you walk in there.
