Madrag in Bridgeport seems like a decent spot for finding some new clothes, especially if you're on a budget. From what I hear, they have all kinds of styles, and the colors they carry are really nice, which could be great if your looking for a whole new look. Plus, it's apparently pretty easy to get to, and they have deals fairly often; those launches with good prices sound like a sweet opportunity to refresh your wardrobe without breaking the bank.
People seem generally happy with how the staff treats customers. You know, how sometimes associates will actually go out of there way to locate a specific item for you, because I love that. A lot of reviewers mentions the staff being nice and that there are good prices, so it's clearly a fave for lots of teens and adults. Though I did see a few complaints regarding plus-size selections; you know that can be a real pain, its a really important part to think about.

#2 Jimmy's Clothing & Footwear
1000 Main St, Bridgeport, CT 06604
Thursday: [9:30 AM-6 PM], Friday: [9:30 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [9:30 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-4 PM], Monday: [9:30 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [9:30 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [9:30 AM-6 PM]
Jimmy's Clothing & Footwear has been around forever, since '92 supposedly, offering all kinds of clothes; especially if you're into hip hop and like snapbacks. They say they're "the best clothing store in Bridgeport," and honestly, they usually have a good sneaker selection, plus some decent sales sometimes, depending on what you're looking for. They seem to be known for men's clothes that are nice without being too expensive, which probably explains why so many locals go there when they want fresh stuff.
People really seem to appreciate the staff at Jimmy's; the reviews always mention how helpful and friendly they are. Plus, you can find some deals, and the variety is a good reason to shop. It’s cool that Jimmy’s is considered a Bridgeport staple, with a solid history. I read someone saying the store was remodeled, which is a nice update. I also saw reviews about issues ordering online and trouble getting refunds, and someone thought the customer service wasn't great at times.

#3 Ocean State Job Lot
545 Bridgeport Ave, Milford, CT 06460
Thursday: [9 AM-8 PM], Friday: [9 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [9 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-8 PM], Monday: [9 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [9 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [9 AM-8 PM]
I swear, Ocean State Job Lot in Bridgeport is a total wildcard, but in the best way. It’s definitely not your average "clothing store", you know? But also I think it's pretty neat cause it's got food, home stuff, random toiletries, even stuff for your pets, not to mention seasonal decor that I'm always there for. You just never know what kinda deals you're gonna find there. They legit sell closeout stuff and liquidation merchandise, which is why everything's marked down. Seriously, from food to art supplies, it's a legit treasure hunt and you'll always find stuff you didn't know you needed.
I've heard from others that the prices are amazing, plus it's always a surprise on what they may have. The employees are apparently super helpful, and the deals are what keeps people coming back, and they have rewards, which are good. People say it's fun to go digging around for treasures, they got everything from international snacks to gardening tools. Although, I did hear that some people think it's a bit of a mess, not the cleanest, and you might have to wait in line to checkout. I also heard the store can be crowded. And while other customers love the store, there has been some expired products or bad experience with the customer service too. All-in-all it has mixed reviews, but more positive reviews than negative ones.

#4 Contempo Suits

Contempo Suits, from what I can gather, is this men's clothing shop in Bridgeport. They seem to really specialize in suits, including the less common zoot suits and walking suits, which is cool. It also looks as though they sell all the extras, you know, shirts, shoes, hats, and all those other things guys need to pull a fit together. It seems they have a good selection of styles and cater to different shapes and sizes. I have not been to the store myself, it looks like some people shop online and those who are local can head over there, though I do think that someone said their hours can be pretty inconsistent.
From the reviews, it looks that most customers dig Contempo Suits. I mean, plenty of people compliment their stellar customer service, plus they are quick with shipping, and their clothing being stylish and good quality. A lot of customers really appreciate the variety and that their prices are good. Honestly, a couple customers claimed to be loyal customers for years, raving about the fits being great, plus the attentive service they get when ordering. A few people have mentioned the store offering great sales, too. Of course, I did see some complaints about sizing issues or a delay in their order, so maybe it's best to double check all the details, just in case, before clicking "buy."

Bass Pro Shops in Bridgeport is definitely a place, offering a decent selection of stuff for outdoorsy folks—you know, fishing, hunting, camping. They sell clothes and shoes too, which is convenient if you're looking for a new pair of hiking boots. Also, they have a bowling alley and an arcade, which is a great idea when it comes to entertaining a whole family that goes shopping there.
Lots of folks seem impressed with the store's decor, plus the variety of what's available is amazing, and they enjoy how it feels to be there. Apparently the aquarium is a must-see, and bowling at Uncle Buck's Fishbowl and Grill is a cool way to spend an afternoon. Employees, like Leah, Karl, Max, Lorenzo, and Terra are usually super helpful. But just know, sometimes people have issues with customer service, particularly in the hunting and boating areas; some had trouble with firearm purchases and mentioned certain employees weren't particularly helpful. It's probably also worth mentioning that a couple of people mentioned the prices are kinda high, and stock sometimes fluctuates.

You can probably find anything from men's shirts to women's shoes, and even home décor, maybe even a snack if you’re lucky, though I think snacks aren't always available, it depends. It's really known for low prices on name brands, which is great, it's just that the selection can be kinda spotty, so you really need to check back regularly, it's the only way.

#7 Madrag
148 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610
Thursday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Friday: [10 AM-9 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-9 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-7 PM], Monday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8:30 PM]
Madrag in Bridgeport has a pretty decent selection if you're looking for something new. They do have a ton of clothes from club attire to more office-appropriate stuff; plus, who doesn't love a good clearance rack? You can also find accessories and often, it seems, they're trying to keep up with the current trends hitting the runways, which is good if you're trying to dress like an influencer without spending that much. I mean, it could be the "best clothing store in Bridgeport" especially when you factor in the prices.
I've seen people saying they always find something cute, plus they run sales, which helps. Some mention how helpful the staff is, specifically one manager that pulled an outfit together. And they seem to have a very diverse staff, which is appreciated. Of course, not every experience is amazing, I've also come across reviews mentioning the service is really slow, that some of the staff is kind of rude, and that the clothes are cheaply made. But on the flip side, some folks said the sales associates are extremely helpful and really went the extra mile when assisting customers, which makes a difference, you know?
