Dungarees is this place that's really known for Carhartt, I think they might have the best selection around for those types of clothes. You can shop either in person or online, which is cool; I'm always looking for a new pair of work boots and they got a variety of stuff. I've heard some people say they're the absolute best for workwear in Columbia, and I could see that being true, especially since it seems that they sell gun safes too, if you're into that sort of thing.
People are always raving about the customer service at Dungarees, how the staff's always super helpful and knows their stuff, going above and beyond to make sure you find what you need. Buckle in Columbia has a really solid selection of jeans, shirts, and other clothes, with a big emphasis on being trendy, you know? I think it's nice that they carry Fossil watches, too, but it's definitely not the cheapest place to shop. I do hear people saying that the quality makes it worth the money, and sometimes you just gotta treat yourself to some nice stuff, right? Some people don't think it's worth it, but you should really see if it's for you.
It really seems like some of the Buckle employees can make or break the shopping experience. Target in Columbia is a really solid option for a discount store; they carry everything from clothes and groceries to stuff for your house, plus electronics and seasonal decorations. A lot of people I know actually think it's a great place to shop, especially for clothes, because it's easy to navigate, usually kept pretty tidy, and the staff tend to be helpful. Honestly, the in-store Starbucks, the pharmacy, and that little Ulta Beauty are nice perks that make shopping there an all-around nicer experience.
What's nice is that the crew working there are usually pretty chill and go out of their way to help. Plus, ordering online and just driving up to grab it is a total lifesaver on busy days. I think it's the prices, what they have in stock, and that the store's generally clean and organized that makes it a good option. Though, getting a real person at checkout can be a total pain sometimes, but what can you do.

Marshalls is one of those stores you can find a little bit of everything, from clothes for the whole family to stuff for your house. Seriously, they even have pet supplies! The inventory is always changing, which means you might find something new every time, but it also means they might not have the thing you want. It's a good place for deals for those looking for name-brand stuff, but with this turnover sometimes it can get pretty disorganized, though.
Honestly, people have had really positive experiences with Marshalls lately. It's true you could score name-brand clothes, shoes, and home stuff for way cheaper than those fancy department stores. Word on the street is you can usually snag some decent deals, and I've heard grandaughters enjoys browsing there—presumably looking for a new fits, but what do I know. Plus, it is a option if you're trying to find a clothing store nearby and don't want to spend too much.
Apparently, a lot of people have had some really good experiences with the staff; you know, those employees who go the extra mile to help you put together an outfit or make sure you get the best discounts, which is nice. People seem to appreciate the reasonable prices and the clothes themselves. One person even mentioned an employee honored a sale that had already ended, which is pretty awesome. However, not everyone is a fan - I have heard stories of some not-so-great encounters; you know, rude workers or issues with customer service, plus inconsistent store hours.
