Hot Topic in Waterbury is kind of a go-to for people who are into that whole alternative scene. They have all these graphic tees, anime merch, band shirts, the works. It's a place where you can find, pretty much anything related to pop culture and a wide range of accessories which is great.

Lots of folks say the staff are super helpful, which makes shopping way easier, I think. Plus, I've seen some reviews where people rave about good sales and that you can find that special piece. At the same time, you know, other people mention prices being high or things being a bit cheaply made, and that, I hear.

Whalley Sample Shop in New Haven's been around forever, apparently, and it's definitely a go-to for men’s stuff. I've heard it's *the* place if you're hunting for suits, but they also do the whole range, from everyday clothes to dressy things. They’ve got shoes and accessories too, which is convenient, and I guess the real draw is their tailoring. They make sure everything fits just right. The shop's kinda old school vibes, focusing on keeping up with trends without charging too much.

Folks seem pretty happy with the service at Whalley Sample Shop. A lot of reviews mention that the staff is super helpful, and knows customers sizes and taste in cloths. People rave about the personalized service, too, also, the suits and tailoring keep people coming back forever. The one review didn't like the selection and their services.

Shev's Quality Wear in Hartford is a clothing store focusing on menswear, especially if you need something for a formal event. They've got suits, tuxedos, dress shirts, all of that, and can handle alterations so everything fits just right. It is a small business, but there's so many great reviews about it so it must be worth checking out; and if you get lucky, there might be a sale going on.

Seriously, the customer service is what people seem to rave about the most. A lot of reviewers mention how the owner can tell their sizes just by looking at them – which is pretty wild, right? Plus, they're saying the prices are reasonable, and he's willing to go the extra mile; even the alterations he does seem super fast. One person had a great experience even though their suit was not in stock, he ordered it for her and she got it within a week. I did see that some found the store a little cramped, but the owner’s expertise really seems to outweigh that detail.

Several reviewers I read mentioned that Chuck really takes the time to figure out what the deal is, and he's not just trying to sell you the most expensive pair. It looks like he’s even provided referrals when someone has a particular problem that he thinks another professional could help with better than him. It is important to note that Google or the Express website may not be accurate when it comes to updated store hours, so before heading over there you might want to call first.

Honestly, what I'm hearing is that most people are all about the staff there, with some folks just raving about how helpful and kind they are. The customer service is generally what people talk most about, and everyone is saying the shopping environment is really great, which is always a win, right? There have been some issues though: one person had an issue where a cashier messed up and they had to go back just to get a security tag removed. Additionally, it can be tough if you need a larger size since they can be hard to find.

I swear, Ocean State Job Lot in Bridgeport is a total wildcard, but in the best way. It’s definitely not your average "clothing store", you know? But also I think it's pretty neat cause it's got food, home stuff, random toiletries, even stuff for your pets, not to mention seasonal decor that I'm always there for. You just never know what kinda deals you're gonna find there. They legit sell closeout stuff and liquidation merchandise, which is why everything's marked down. Seriously, from food to art supplies, it's a legit treasure hunt and you'll always find stuff you didn't know you needed.

I've heard from others that the prices are amazing, plus it's always a surprise on what they may have. The employees are apparently super helpful, and the deals are what keeps people coming back, and they have rewards, which are good. People say it's fun to go digging around for treasures, they got everything from international snacks to gardening tools. Although, I did hear that some people think it's a bit of a mess, not the cleanest, and you might have to wait in line to checkout. I also heard the store can be crowded. And while other customers love the store, there has been some expired products or bad experience with the customer service too. All-in-all it has mixed reviews, but more positive reviews than negative ones.

Mishy & David's is a pretty popular clothing store around Hartford, seems they have everything, clothes wise, and accessories, too. What's great is that it's generally affordable, and people talk about their customer service a lot, always a plus. Plus, I hear they have some jewelry and a bit of a thrift/flea market vibe, which makes it sound like a fun place to check out if you're into unique finds, so maybe you should.

Honestly, people rave about Mishy & David's and how friendly everyone who works there are. It sounds the staff really go above and beyond to help you out, which is nice when you're shopping. The prices are good, especially since there are so many places that charge way too much; a lot of people mention getting some pretty good deals there. Also, they sell a wide variety of shirts and jewelry, including sterling silver and vintage clothes, which is something that would be great to add to my wardrobe. While there are a small number of negative reviews, people tend to really love shopping at Mishy & David's and will continue to support it as a local business.

The Paper Store, you know the one in the Hartford area, is kind of a lifesaver when you need something, anything, really. They have such a huge selection, from cards to candles, I always can find at least one thing that catches my eye. It isn't just a clothing store either, and it kinda leans toward gifts, but you can grab jewelry, holiday decorations, even some toys, which is useful if you, say, forgot a birthday party.

It's wild seeing so many happy reviews, I mean most people really dig the variety of gifts and how friendly everyone there is. Plus, who doesn't love a store that has killer sales? Some people have mentioned feeling watched or shadowed, which is annoying when you're just trying to browse. A few others weren't happy with their return policy; though, I've heard them mentioned it's a super convenient place to find stuff and the employees are attentive, so it's a mixed bag.

Contempo Suits, from what I can gather, is this men's clothing shop in Bridgeport. They seem to really specialize in suits, including the less common zoot suits and walking suits, which is cool. It also looks as though they sell all the extras, you know, shirts, shoes, hats, and all those other things guys need to pull a fit together. It seems they have a good selection of styles and cater to different shapes and sizes. I have not been to the store myself, it looks like some people shop online and those who are local can head over there, though I do think that someone said their hours can be pretty inconsistent.

From the reviews, it looks that most customers dig Contempo Suits. I mean, plenty of people compliment their stellar customer service, plus they are quick with shipping, and their clothing being stylish and good quality. A lot of customers really appreciate the variety and that their prices are good. Honestly, a couple customers claimed to be loyal customers for years, raving about the fits being great, plus the attentive service they get when ordering. A few people have mentioned the store offering great sales, too. Of course, I did see some complaints about sizing issues or a delay in their order, so maybe it's best to double check all the details, just in case, before clicking "buy."

Bass Pro Shops in Bridgeport is definitely a place, offering a decent selection of stuff for outdoorsy folks—you know, fishing, hunting, camping. They sell clothes and shoes too, which is convenient if you're looking for a new pair of hiking boots. Also, they have a bowling alley and an arcade, which is a great idea when it comes to entertaining a whole family that goes shopping there.

Lots of folks seem impressed with the store's decor, plus the variety of what's available is amazing, and they enjoy how it feels to be there. Apparently the aquarium is a must-see, and bowling at Uncle Buck's Fishbowl and Grill is a cool way to spend an afternoon. Employees, like Leah, Karl, Max, Lorenzo, and Terra are usually super helpful. But just know, sometimes people have issues with customer service, particularly in the hunting and boating areas; some had trouble with firearm purchases and mentioned certain employees weren't particularly helpful. It's probably also worth mentioning that a couple of people mentioned the prices are kinda high, and stock sometimes fluctuates.

It seems customers do love the store mostly. Plenty of people are mentioning the helpful staff, especially Lucy, Cindy, Megan, and Luis for really great service and figuring stuff out when there's a problem. Its nice to hear people sing praises for staff. People have said that its location is convenient and the layout is easy to navigate, and the fitting rooms are nice and comfortable. There's been a few, negative, reviews about staff and return policies, the overall feel of the place, and inclusivity, that I'd be wary about them.

They're really trying to be a one-stop shop for ladies, it's all about affordable fashion. Plus, they've got lounge wear if you're just chilling or something a bit more dressy if you're going out.

I've seen reviews that claim folks are super happy with the deals you find there. The staff is apparently really nice and helpful too, they keep the place nice and clean, which is good because nobody wants to shop in a messy store. Lots of people mentioned the awesome customer service and how professional the manager is, which is such a win if you are just running in for something quick; they say it is great for that, especially with the low prices and trendy choices. Once Upon a Child in Waterbury seems a pretty useful option if you are on a budget and have children. It's one of those consignment spots where you can buy and sell gently used stuff, kids clothes, shoes, toys, the whole deal. I'm told they have a pretty decent selection, and the prices aren't terrible considering how expensive kids grow out of clothes. For anyone looking to purchase affordable kid's gear or want to sell clothes that their kids can't fit anymore, it is definitely a convenient option.

What you hear a lot is that it's a clean, well-organized place, which, honestly, is half the battle with consignment stores. Also people mention the staff frequently, usually saying they are nice. Okay, so Urban Outfitters in New Haven? It's a clothing shop around there, or so I hear, with a reputation for somewhat of an unorthodox style that's reflected in their stock. They have really cute clothes, but it's a bit pricey. I guess the draw is that it's more than just somewhere to buy new jeans or a top; it has, also, a lot of home decor. Honestly, I think it's the aesthetic they go for, you know? That slightly-too-cool-for-school thing that makes it popular.

Word on the street is the atmosphere there is really something, customers say its "chill" and that the shop feels uniquely designed. There are definitely downsides though, some folks mention the stores can feel a little cramped and disorganized, which, if I am being honest, is far from ideal. I've also read a few complaints about customer service, but hopefully, they're working to improve in that regard. Overall, it seems Rainbow Shops is still a solid choice if you're looking for affordable fashion.

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Waterbury seems to have a pretty decent selection of sporting gear and apparel, covering stuff from equipment to athletic shoes, not to mention activewear for everyone. I've heard that they may not be the go-to for hunting or skateboarding needs, but plenty of people say it's a solid spot in Waterbury for sports-related clothes and, honestly, probably worth checking out if you're close by. Word on the street is that they're really aiming to be the local hub for all things sports-related.

What's cool is that a lot of customers rave about the staff being super friendly and helpful, which is always a win. You know how annoying it is when the employees are rude? People also mention how clean and organized the store is, that's a big plus. Reading through reviews, it sounds like many customers have had experiences where employees really went above and beyond, which is awesome, and a lot of people mentioned they found what they were looking for. Plus, reasonable prices and good advice always helps, it seems the layout of the store is pretty nice, too, but I heard some people complained about customer service issues, such as rude cashier, which is kind of typical no matter where you go.

Burlington in Hartford's pretty popular, and it's definitely one of the places you can find, essentially, anything. They really do have a ton of clothes – think men’s, women’s, kids' stuff – plus all kinds of accessories, shoes and, I guess, even home decor. What's nice is that it's usually possible to snag some good brands without totally emptying your wallet, which is why so many people like the place.

The best part, seriously, are the deals; I saw on the reviews someone got jeans for $15, and they were brand names! A lot of people really seem to appreciate the selection, and you can usually find something that will work. Though if there's any complaints, it's about the lines, it can take 30 or 40 mins just to check out, especially since there are only two cashiers. I hear they're helpful, though. And, honestly, all things considered, the prices are probably worth the wait.

Zemo Men's Store in Stamford provides a selection of menswear, specializing in tailored suits, tuxedos, sport jackets, and shirts you can buy or rent if needed. They're a family-owned business, which is really cool, and they cater to special events, you know, proms and weddings, all that jazz. Word on the street says if you're in the market for formal wear, Zemo's might just be *the* place to swing by in Stamford.

I have heard that a lot of customers rave about Zemo Men's Store, especially about their above-and-beyond service, the breadth of knowledge that you'll never find on Google, and real attention to all the details. Supposedly, Joe Zemo, the owner, is super hands-on, making sure everything fits just right, even if it takes a few appointments, and what I think is cool is that he's knowledgable of the material and fit that you might never of known. The store also gets props for having decent prices, nice stuff, and that old-school, personal vibe that's hard to find these days. I heard the tuxedos and suits look killer when people rent them. Yet, I have read a couple of reviews where people had bad experiences, they saying that he was rude or dismissive, but I can't imagine a store that's been running for so long could be that rude?

People tend to say good things about the savings you can find, and a lot of shoppers think the staff is usually pretty friendly. Plus, a couple of people mentioned finding stuff there that they couldn't locate anywhere else. It is noted however that, a common thing I hear is people complaining about the shoe department because it could be better organized, and sometimes they're short on sizes, however most of the reviews I came across where positive.

Marshalls in Bridgeport is a discount department store, it's got a bunch of stuff that's supposed to be good for your family and your house, generally, with clothing options across the board. You can probably find anything from men's shirts to women's shoes, and even home décor, maybe even a snack if you’re lucky, though I think snacks aren't always available, it depends. It's really known for low prices on name brands, which is great, it's just that the selection can be kinda spotty, so you really need to check back regularly, it's the only way.

What’s cool is that people seem to be pretty stoked about the low prices on name brands, it's especially gratifying when you find something you love. Though, I saw some people mention that they didn't have the best time at the Wolcott Street location, adding that some of the staff were rude or acted unprofessionally. I have also seen some accusations of racial profiling, which really are not good. I've also read some claims that they don't have air conditioning, and that it's basically a sweatshop which is a horrible thing.

Work Hard Dress Right, situated in New Haven, is a clothing store that specializes in work uniforms, especially medical attire; think scrubs for doctors and nurses. They used to do embroidery on site, but I heard that's outsourced these days. They apparently have Dansko shoes too, although from what I gather its not the biggest selection out there.

People rave how friendly and helpful the staff are – Amy, Carrie, and Helder get shout-outs all the time – and that makes a huge difference in the overall shopping experience. Customers really appreciate their patience and how efficient they are when it comes to figuring out uniform needs. I saw some reviews online where people say the staff goes the extra mile to make sure everything fits right and the service is quick, plus they create a welcoming vibe. Of course, there's always gonna be a few downsides. Some customers have mentioned delays with online orders, and a couple of folks had issues with how accurate the embroidery turned out. Also, people had trouble getting a hold of someone on the phone.

I hear Macy's in Stamford is a pretty standard department store, stocked with most things you’d expect, from clothes and shoes to home goods and makeup - its location in the Stamford Town Center definitely makes it convenient, if you're already in the mall. Plenty have mentioned that Macy's does offer a lot of different brands and prices, especially if you’re willing to hunt through the Backstage discount area; it's one of those places where you could potentially score a great deal.

Honestly, it sounds mostly like people have had good experiences, particularly when they've found helpful staff members, and sometimes those people can really make your day. There were folks, like Nathan, Maria and Layla in shoes and furniture, who people specifically called out for being super knowledgeable and going the extra mile. Others also appreciated the effort they seemed to be putting into keeping the store clean, which is always a plus. It’s too bad some find it's a hit-or-miss situation regarding organization and staffing; not sure how many can relate, but it does seem fairly important to have a good experience.

Madrag in Bridgeport has a pretty decent selection if you're looking for something new. They do have a ton of clothes from club attire to more office-appropriate stuff; plus, who doesn't love a good clearance rack? You can also find accessories and often, it seems, they're trying to keep up with the current trends hitting the runways, which is good if you're trying to dress like an influencer without spending that much. I mean, it could be the "best clothing store in Bridgeport" especially when you factor in the prices.

I've seen people saying they always find something cute, plus they run sales, which helps. Some mention how helpful the staff is, specifically one manager that pulled an outfit together. And they seem to have a very diverse staff, which is appreciated. Of course, not every experience is amazing, I've also come across reviews mentioning the service is really slow, that some of the staff is kind of rude, and that the clothes are cheaply made. But on the flip side, some folks said the sales associates are extremely helpful and really went the extra mile when assisting customers, which makes a difference, you know?
