#1 Trailfitters
Fitger’s Brewery Complex, 600 E Superior St, Duluth, MN 55802
Thursday: [10 AM-9 PM], Friday: [10 AM-9 PM], Saturday: [9 AM-9 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-5 PM], Monday: [10 AM-9 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-9 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-9 PM]
Trailfitters, nestled inside the Fitger's complex in Duluth, seems to be *the* spot if you're into hiking, camping, or backpacking. From what I've heard, they're stocked to the gills with high-quality stuff from brands such as Kuhl, Patagonia, and Osprey. Of course they also stock a lot of footwear plus Vibram fitting, so you can get kitted out right. If you’re planning on doing some serious outdoor stuff and you need clothing, that seems to be a place for you to look.
People rave about the staff being super helpful and knowledgeable, providing great customer service. Reviewers really appreciate that they're willing to give personalized recommendations, help you find the right gear, and will even try to find stuff they don't have in stock, which is nice, yeah? Also, that their selection is top-notch and diverse, really appealing to outdoor people. Many people noted that the staff goes above and beyond to help customers find what they need and will spend time with you to answer all your questions. Supporting a local business is always a plus, although some people said that the prices can get a little steep, and the clearance selection isn't always the best. And someone brought up the fact that they seem to be more focused on clothing than the camping gear, which is probably something to consider when you decide to go.

#2 Lots For Tots
4921 Matterhorn Dr, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [10 AM-5 PM], Friday: [10 AM-5 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-4 PM], Sunday: [Closed], Monday: [10 AM-5 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-5 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-5 PM]
Lots For Tots, located in Duluth, is this cute children's shop offering a wide range of pre-loved stuff: clothing, toys, books, baby equipment – the works. You know, I saw some chatter indicating you can find everything from everyday outfits to costumes, which sounds amazing, and the prices are supposed to be pretty wallet-friendly. It seems pretty popular to people trying to find an alternative to buying stuff brand-new.
The buzz about Lots For Tots is generally very positive; people rave about how clean and organized it is, they find the staff pretty friendly, and they appreciate the prices on all sorts of things. Apparently, they even clean the clothes before they put them out, which is a total win. The rewards program is something people also enjoy. And even though there are a few mentions of some staff not being so friendly and a few things possibly costing a bit much or being a tad worn, overall, shoppers mention the helpful, relatable staff. I get the impression that it's a great spot to browse, find unique gems, and maybe even discover some cool items from brands known for quality.

#3 Ragstock
9 W Superior St, Duluth, MN 55802
Thursday: [12-7 PM], Friday: [11 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [12-6 PM], Monday: [12-7 PM], Tuesday: [12-7 PM], Wednesday: [12-7 PM]
Ragstock in Duluth is a store with this cool vibe. It’s got a mix of new and used clothes; plus, there’s some vintage stuff that’s pretty affordable, which is always a plus in my book. I think what's neat, is that they really emphasize styles that stand out, so finding retro clothes or maybe that unique flannel shirt that you've been looking for is never difficult. You can also get like, Halloween costumes and jackets, which I think is cool.
Everyone always raves about the selection; there's just so many interesting things and, for a lot of people, their prices are pretty reasonable. People who shop there always say how helpful and nice the staff is and there's so much variety. Finding something that lets you express who you are when clothes are affordable is always nice. Some people have said that the sizing can be off a little bit though, or that the quality could be better on some of the items, but a bunch of people have only had great things to say about the store.

#4 Once Upon A Child Duluth, MN
5115 Burning Tree Rd Unit 308, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-5 PM], Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM]
Once Upon A Child in Duluth seems to be this really neat resale shop – you know, the kind that gets you excited about finding a deal. I have heard that it focuses on buying and selling gently used clothes, shoes, toys, books, and baby gear for kids of all ages, and I hear a lot about it. It's apparently a lifesaver for parents because they get a wide selection of items at pretty reasonable prices, and they often have sales, which is very nice to hear. A big draw, as I understand it, is the convenience of selling your kids' outgrown stuff and then snagging some new-to-you items all in the same trip -- which sounds amazing.
I've seen a lot of people online talk about how the store is clean and well-organized, and they always mention the super friendly staff, including specific employees; I think they even mentioned the owner being friendly. It's pretty much been said across the internet that they offer a wide selection and reasonable prices, with some people even finding really awesome quality items that are even brand new, at a steal. While some had experiences with inconsistent buyback policies, that's bound to happen at any retail shop. You know, there's always someone who's picky when it comes to used clothing, but more reviews said that the experience was overwhelmingly positive, and they have awesome staff.

Thursday: [12-6 PM], Friday: [12-6 PM], Saturday: [12-6 PM], Sunday: [12-6 PM], Monday: [12-6 PM], Tuesday: [12-6 PM], Wednesday: [12-6 PM]
Duluth's Global Village is definitely a spot to check out when you're looking for something different. It's got this great curated selection of stuff that seems to come from all over, you know? I'm pretty sure they want to be seen as the "best clothing store in Duluth" but they also carry jewelry and home goods, plus little things. From what I've seen, it's not just clothes; you can get cards, incense, and pieces of art, making gift-giving a bit more interesting, even larger items can be found.
I read up a bit online, and people seem to have positive experiences. The vibe is apparently super chill and the staff are helpful, though some people said items are more expensive than what you'd find online -- probably due to curation and specialty. They're always quick to point out the uniqueness of it's globally inspired merchandise. A few people had issues, mentioning a staff attitude issue or possible racial profiling which is unfortunate, but overall, there is a positive feedback of staff and products.

#6 Damage Boardshop

Damage Boardshop seems to be the go-to spot in Duluth for skate and snowboard gear. They apparently carry a wide variety of stuff, from complete setups to all the extra bits and pieces, plus clothes, catering to all skill levels. A lot of people call it the best shop in town, which I guess says a lot about it, creating what people describe as an inclusive and welcoming vibe.
From what I'm reading online, the staff there are seriously passionate about skating and snowboarding, which is really helpful when you’re trying to figure out what to buy. Customers often mention they are friendly and super helpful, they really take their time to understand what people need, and give really good advice. Several people mentioned getting fitted for snow boots and getting spot-on product recommendations, building confidence in their product quality and the staff's dedication to awesome service. Despite some isolated mentions of unwelcoming interactions, most people praise the shop's great selection of product and its welcoming vibe.

#7 Duluth Trading Company

Okay, so the Duluth Trading Company in Duluth? It's more than just a clothing store, it's a whole experience. They really do have everything from super durable work pants—I've heard the Fire Hose ones last forever—to shirts, jackets, and even some funky underwear. It's not always cheap, but people say it's an investment because the quality is good, so maybe it evens out? You might even find neat gifts, plus stuff for survival or, get this, even your dog.
A ton of people rave about how comfy and well-made the clothes are, those Fire Hose pants and Buck Naked underwear always seem to be mentioned in reviews. Like, the staff is supposed to be really friendly and helpful, with some names getting specifically called out. Apparently their return policy and guarantee is awesome too, it sounds like the sort of thing that makes you want to keep shopping there, which is cool. Plus, I saw some stuff about how they have clothes for all sizes, they have things from small to 4xl. However, parking can be a pain, but it is close to the store.

#8 Aerostich
8 S 18th Ave W, Duluth, MN 55806
Thursday: [9 AM-3 PM], Friday: [9 AM-3 PM], Saturday: [Closed], Sunday: [Closed], Monday: [9 AM-3 PM], Tuesday: [9 AM-3 PM], Wednesday: [9 AM-3 PM]
Aerostich in Duluth has a reputation for being *the* spot if you're serious about motorcycle riding gear, you know? They really hone in on top-tier, American-made stuff; think Roadcrafter and Darien suits that everyone raves about. Plus, it's not just those suits, either. You'll find all types of protective clothing, gloves, vests, and even travel equipment, all designed to really last and keep you comfy and safe in every kind of weather condition. They even do custom fittings and alterations right there, which is a huge plus for getting a fit that is exactly right.
People are consistently impressed with Aerostich, mainly due to their high quality products, and a customer service that apparently goes above and beyond; plus, it seems their gear offers a serious piece of mind. Lots of customers online have talked about how durable the suits are. I read one review where someone mentioned wearing a suit for over ten years and surviving multiple crashes with barely a scratch. Then there are also comments about the layering convenience, plus how great the gear is against rain, wind, and freezing temps. The staff gets kudos a lot too, especially for being so helpful during the fitting process; which is nice to know. Let's not forget that buying American-made is a major draw for some, with many even making long trips just for the in-store experience.

#9 Dannie Duluth Consignment
932 E 4th St, Duluth, MN 55805
Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [12-4 PM], Monday: [10 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM]
Dannie Duluth Consignment, based in Duluth, Minnesota, is a women's resale shop with a pretty solid reputation in town. You can usually find a bunch of pre-owned clothes, accessories, shoes, plus handbags there and they are very high-quality, I hear. They tend to have things that are unique, sometimes vintage-inspired, and even name-brand stuff, usually at prices that won't break the bank. Word is they're always having sales, so it’s always good to check. Apparently, they'll even let you sell your own clothes there, which is nice if you have some gently used stuff.
Most people say Dannie Duluth is great, especially loving that selection and those prices, it's why people come back, I guess. A lot of customers love stumbling upon those cool finds, designer items and vintage treasures, you know? Supposedly, the staff, Dannie included, are super friendly and helpful; some customers describe her as kind and sweet, which is always a plus. But, you know, everyone's experience is different, some people had a bad experience with the owner being rude, but you can't please everyone. I hear they could improve their size range; they supposedly don't have a lot for bigger body-types, and they may need to work on the store's organization and cleaning, but you can't win 'em all.

#10 Benders
901 W Central Entrance, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [9 AM-7 PM], Friday: [9 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [9 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-5 PM], Monday: [9 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [9 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [9 AM-7 PM]
Benders in Duluth seems to be known as a pretty solid place to go for shoes and more, though I've heard mixed things on pricing. They apparently carry tons of brands and styles for all ages, plus accessories, travel gear, and even stuff for your home. Apparently they also do foot evaluations and can fit you for orthotics, which is kind of cool if you need that sort of thing.
What I keep hearing is how helpful their staff is; reviewers always seem to shout out employees by name-- Dale, Gina, Maria, Nina, Tara, Mike, Judith, Austin, Grace, Patti, and Mary getting mentioned most often. A lot of people say they're super knowledgeable and go the extra mile to find the perfect shoe, which makes a difference. I heard they have really good sales sometimes, and a nice selection of clothes too. I also did hear that some people were'nt as impressed with the selection, or the prices are not always doable though.

#11 Mainstream Fashions for Men
206 W Superior St, Duluth, MN 55802
Thursday: [10 AM-5 PM], Friday: [10 AM-5 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-5 PM], Sunday: [Closed], Monday: [10 AM-5 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-5 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-5 PM]
Mainstream Fashions for Men seems to be the go-to spot in Duluth if you're a guy needing, well, anything menswear. They've got a good range, apparently, from everyday shirts to full-on wedding suits. The prices aren't too bad either, from what I hear. They are also known for alterations - which you know, can really make or break an outfit. It is really annoying when clothing doesn't fit right. They can help you with those tricky adjustments.
Seriously though, people rave about the customer service; you know how important that is. Ben, Tom, and Mark keep getting name-dropped for being super helpful, patient, and offering really personalized attention. Customers often say they're total pros at finding the right fit quickly and even working miracles with last-minute tailoring. Some folks had a less-than-stellar wedding experience, citing issues with alterations, colors, and sizes and lack of apology. Still, it looks like for a lot of guys, the selection, quality, and individual attention usually make it worth checking out.

#12 PINK by Victoria's Secret
1600 Miller Trunk Highway N06B, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-6 PM], Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM]
PINK in Duluth is where you can find Victoria's Secret's younger sister line, focusing on bras, lingerie, loungewear, and generally cute accessories, I think? Some people find it a really fun and vibrant place to shop, but keep in mind it is a smaller space inside the mall. It's true, the selection might not be as robust compared to bigger stores, though they are always offering some deal or sale that makes you feel like you're getting a steal. If you're on the hunt for comfy basics and adorable lingerie in Duluth, you should check them out.
What I hear most from the reviews, though, is how awesome the staff is! People seriously call out specific employees who went the extra mile, whether helping with bra fittings or tracking down that one size you need, hopefully the same for you. The vibe is usually upbeat and positive, and I've heard a lot of people saying they had a great shopping trip. Of course, some folks pointed out issues, you know, prices being high, really long lines, or even a coupon thing that wasn't really consistent, which is annoying, to say the least. I did notice that a few people had a problem finding inclusive sizes. Still, lots of customers praised them and said they always have great deals.

#13 American Eagle
1600 Miller Trunk Hwy #423, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-6 PM], Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM]
American Eagle in Duluth caters to teens and young adults with its clothing selection, and honestly, you could do worse. Jeans are a big deal there; I hear they have a wide variety, which is cool, and apparently, they even offer lengths for my taller friends which they can't even find elsewhere. The prices, I suspect, are maybe not the most affordable, but if you catch a sale, you might be able to snag some great finds that feels worth it. It could be the best place to shop in Duluth, if you are looking for clothes with some quality and variety.
I've noticed that people often mention how the store is set up in a way that's easy to navigate, with employees being particularly helpful and just so friendly; individuals have even shouted out specific team members. It's always nice when you're searching for the perfect pair of jeans, or even just browsing, and someone offers that little bit of personalized help, right? While most people seem to enjoy their experience and appreciate the atmosphere, I did see a few complaints about the availability of taller sizes, and a concern was regarding sales that weren't so clear. I saw a thing or two about slow lines and less-than-ideal interactions with the management; I can't imagine how frustrating that must be.

#14 Spencer's
1600 Miller Trunk Hwy, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-6 PM], Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM]
Spencer's in Duluth is this kind of novelty store that's hard to describe, not just a clothing store. You can usually find a ton of random stuff there, I guess you could say it has a wide range of gifts and accessories. Think gag presents, stuff for adults, body jewelry, plus tarot cards, mugs, crystals, and tees if you need a new one.
People seem to love Spencer's for having such a big selection, there's definitely a lot to look through. Most find the staff really nice and helpful too, which I appreciate, though I've heard it can get overly crowded, and some people feel the layout could be better. It's usually got a fun vibe though, and a lot of people end up buying some pretty amazing cups or airtight jars, and the employees generally are good at helping you locate something.

#15 Champs Sports
1600 Miller Trunk Hwy, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [11 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-6 PM], Monday: [11 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [11 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-8 PM]
Champs Sports in Duluth, I hear, is a place you might find athletic gear, at least potentially. They’ve got basically everything: shoes, boots, sandals, socks, hats, jerseys, shorts, shirts, sweaters, sweatpants, bookbags...even shoe cleaner and inserts. What I'm understanding from peoples experiences is, it is really hit or miss there. Some people rave about the helpful staff, you know? But others mention that the prices are pretty steep, I assume it's a mall thing.
Word on the street is they have a great shoe selection, plus athletic clothing, that's a real positive to consider. Lots of shout outs to the friendly, informed staff – some employees are apparently shoe whisperers. Apparently, some people get excellent service, good prices, and they say it is a clean store which is a plus. For some, it's the absolute best place in Duluth to snag some Jordans or another popular brand. However, a few folks have mentioned that it's pricey, they have limited sizes sometimes, and customer service can be inconsistent, and some customers have found the staff unhelpful. I saw at least one comment where someone said the staff wasn't being helpful and seemed to dismiss the customer based on age. Also, it's worth knowing that some reviews say that some of the more popular styles of shoes are unavailable.

#16 Maurices
1600 Miller Trunk Hwy Space E3&4, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-6 PM], Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM]
Maurices in Duluth carries a pretty wide range of clothing – I've heard they stock sizes 0 up to 22 plus, which is great, I think. They’ve supposedly got stuff that could work whether you're looking for something for, say, a younger relative or even your grandma and if you’re thinking about fall wardrobes, they seem to have it handled. Finding a decent clothing store in the area can be a mission, and Maurices is mentioned as a potential option when hunting for trendy pieces and different sizes.
I saw plenty of people online just raved about the staff at the Duluth Maurices; a lot of times stores aren't particularly clean or employees aren't approachable. People consistently point out how friendly and attentive the employees are and mention how the store's kept tidy, making for a better experience overall. I did notice some complaints regarding the company policies, especially concerning the random order cancellations people apparently dealt with but it's still worth a look because customer service can be a big plus. I also noticed other people mentioning the patterns that were available, so if you're looking for a certain style, it's best to go check it out.

#17 Hot Topic
1600 Miller Trunk Hwy, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-6 PM], Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM]
Hot Topic in Duluth is definitely a place you can get something cool. You can find pretty specific stuff there, too – I mean, where else am I gonna get a Riverdale blanket or a decent selection of band tees all in one place? They've got so many things that I want, I just need to look! It's a good spot if you're on the hunt for gifts, especially if you have a friend that's super into, I don't know, Harry Potter, or anime.
The employees at the Duluth location get a lot of love. Reviewers always seem to mention how friendly and helpful they are, which is pretty nice to hear, because you don't see that everywhere, you know? Plus, they always have sales, so sometimes you can score something you really want for a price that's not completely insane! I do wish they carried more plus sizes, it's hard to find those in stores still, but all in all, it's a good shop if you want to express your style.

#18 Eddie Bauer
1600 Miller Trunk Hwy, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-6 PM], Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM]
Eddie Bauer in Duluth is a great spot to find some solid outdoor and casual wear; I think they do a pretty good job with it. They have, you know, the basics, hiking clothes, comfy pants—the Voyager jeans and First Ascent stuff are always a winner in my book—and, of course, their winter coats are really nice to have when it gets cold. What's cool is they seem to have clothes for everyone, including tall men, which isn't always easy to find, and their sales are the bomb; I always seem to find something when they are having sales. A lot of people I know think it's the best place in town for quality stuff, especially when you can catch a deal.
You know, the best part I hear is how friendly the staff usually are, or at least it makes for a better experience if they are, and that the clothes are super quality. If they don't have your size, or a color you want, they'll order it for you and ship it, which is pretty nice I think. Oh, the First Ascent line gets a lot of love; people say it holds up well, or so I've heard. Some folks go on about the lifetime warranty they use to have and how awesome the service was back then. I heard a few complaints over the years, though, some are about the prices being too high, or that they don't have much inventory; they can be a little light with their plus-size options for women too I guess. Some scratch-off promotions didn't go well for others, but I guess you can't please everyone.

#19 Minnesota Surplus & Outfitters
218 W Superior St, Duluth, MN 55802
Thursday: [10 AM-5 PM], Friday: [10 AM-5 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-5 PM], Sunday: [Closed], Monday: [10 AM-5 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-5 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-5 PM]
Minnesota Surplus & Outfitters, located in Duluth, is a pretty interesting store, I heard it carries a bunch of stuff. They've got military surplus items mixed in with your typical outdoor gear and even some work clothes, I think. Apparently, you can find Carhartt jackets which is great because I love those, along with winter boots and camping equipment, plus some random novelty items thrown in for good measure. I've read it is probably the best clothing store in Duluth for people who are looking for stuff that is durable, and maybe even hard to find elsewhere, someone said they stock mosquito net clothing, super sturdy backpacks, and heavy-duty boot laces that don't fray easily, which is what I need.
People seem to say their staff is super nice and helpful, which makes the shopping experience even better. They have so much to choose from, especially the military surplus and cold weather gear; Duluth gets crazy cold in the winter, so having lots of options is a big plus. I've also heard that the items are very good quality, and it's always cool to support a local business. While some reviewers have mentioned that they thought prices were a bit higher, I guess you get what you pay for with quality gear that lasts a while. One person on Yelp mentioned buying a army digital jacket around eight months ago that had been through some heavy washing and had yet to fade!

#20 T.J. Maxx

Duluth's T.J. Maxx seems to have it all; from clothing and accessories that catches your eye, to stuff for the kitchen, and even a little something for your furry friends. You'll definitely find some name-brand stuff at prices that are a whole lot easier on your wallet and with new shipments coming in, its a good time to shop. It's a spot where you can get all kinds of things that you need for a reasonable price.
What's cool is that people are always finding something special and at a price that you just can't resist. I heard the staff are really nice as well, especially in the jewelry section, which is always a plus. You can find clothes for everyone, plus gifts for the holidays, what is not to love. There are definitely some who've had a bit of a wait getting through the checkout, I hear, so try to go during the day and you might find something spectacular.

#21 rue21
1600 Miller Trunk Hwy Suite J12A, Duluth, MN 55811
Thursday: [11 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-9 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-9 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-6 PM], Monday: [11 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [11 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-7 PM]
Rue21 can be a goldmine if you are searching for up-to-the-minute trends without emptying your wallet. It's pretty popular in Duluth, especially with the younger crowd, cause they got a grip on the whole fast fashion thing. They have a decent selection of stuff, think tees, coordinated outfits, hoodies, plus all sorts of accessories, which are essential. It's definitely a great place to snag a gift or refresh your wardrobe when you're trying to not overspend and I thought I saw they have a plus-size section; not sure if all stores do.
A lot of people seem to rave about the trendy styles and those sweet deals you can find; it's good quality for the price, that's for sure. Some folks have even called out specific employees for being extra helpful and going the extra mile which is always nice to hear. Though you know how it goes, there are a couple of complaints sprinkled in concerning staff being rude, or sometimes, you know, the store is a total disaster with the clearance racks looking like a tornado hit it. Size inconsistencies are also a thing, which can be annoying when you're trying to find the perfect fit.

Old Navy in Duluth seems to be a solid spot if you're trying to refresh your wardrobe without totally breaking the bank, you know? They've got clothes for everyone, and a lot of folks online mention finding awesome deals, especially on the basics plus kids' stuff. They seem to be really good about sales, too, plus it looks well-kept. And who doesn't want something new to wear that didn't bankrupt them?
It's really the customer service aspect that stands out, at least from what I've gathered. A bunch of reviews mention the staff being super friendly, helpful and willing to go that extra mile, in ordering things they didn't have in store, or price adjustments. I also heard that the store provides a great atmosphere with cleaning and sanitizing. Though, you know, some people did mention inconsistent sizing and that occasionally things can be a little disorganized, they never have my size. But, overall, it does sounds like a great spot.

JCPenney in Duluth, it's located in the Miller Hill Mall, and tries to be a one-stop spot for shopping for a bunch of stuff, including apparel for men, women, and kids, also larger sizes. They've got jewelry, shoes, and stuff for your home, plus they got a salon, and do portraits too. If you need clothes for your family, it has you covered.
It appears people often have really positive experiences with the staff there; they've got that Midwestern charm people really appreciate. A bunch of customers have mentioned the associates going the extra mile. Plus, lots of folks mentioned that there are usually good deals to be found, especially in clearance - who doesn't enjoy a bargain, am I right? The salon gets good reviews and I heard a few people said the Big & Tall section is a lifesaver; one person mention they appreciate stores that sell them.

Buckle in Duluth is a place to find current styles, especially their denim selection looks expansive and covers a lot of ground for both guys and girls. You can find everything from cute tops to rad shoes, plus all the accessories you could ever need, I heard. If you're thinking about giving your closet a refresh, Buckle's goal is to provide a full-on shopping experience, with a major emphasis on hooking you up with the perfect fit, and don't we all want that?
A lot of people online have been saying good things about the Duluth Buckle location's team, and I notice reviewers will even call out certain employees by name for providing excellent service, which is always a good sign. Personalized service gets mentioned a lot, plus I read some customers feel like the staff actually remember them, which is nice and maybe a little too much, depending on the day. Most shoppers really seem to love their clothing options – especially when it comes to jeans and their plus-size selection, because who wants to be limited. It is nice to know the store aims to create a confident shopping environment.

#25 Zumiez

Zumiez in Duluth carries a ton of skate-inspired stuff; they've got boards, tees, pants, plus all those random accessories, those gold chains, and sunglasses. I hear the selection of skateboards is pretty solid. So, if you're on the hunt for a place in Duluth that's got a skate vibe with casual clothes, it's an option. I could see myself browsing there for a new hoodie, even though I don't even skate anymore.
Honestly, people are raving about the customer service at the Duluth Zumiez. Reviewers keep mentioning how friendly, helpful, and patient the employees are, which is nice, ain't it? Seems they're good at making suggestions and tracking down stuff. They are apparently described as being upbeat and creating a good atmosphere. However, I've also read a few reviews where some felt they were too pushy. There was also at least one customer that was disappointed with some policies about return for certain items. But hey, if you're after good vibes plus great customer service, you might want to check them out.

#26 Target

Thursday: [7 AM-11 PM], Friday: [7 AM-11 PM], Saturday: [7 AM-11 PM], Sunday: [7 AM-11 PM], Monday: [7 AM-11 PM], Tuesday: [7 AM-11 PM], Wednesday: [7 AM-11 PM]
Target in Duluth definitely seems to have its act together, they have a pretty good handle on things. I hear they stock pretty much everything, from the food basics and house stuff to all the tech gadgets and clothes one could really need. Plus, you can swing by Ulta or Starbucks while you're at it. People looking for clothes will find a solid selection.
What's really awesome is how much people say the Duluth location is clean and well-organized, and the employees are apparently super nice and go out of their way to help you find what you need, what more can you ask for? It's good to know you can order everything online and grab it in the store or have it brought out to your car, which is a plus. There are some issues, though, I guess—long lines, the parking lot, and restroom cleanliness are commonly raised issues. It's not perfect.
