Northern Roots Boutique in Grand Forks? People seem to really rave about it. From what I've gathered, they've got a pretty broad selection of clothes and accessories, plus some stuff that's made locally, which is cool. They apparently try to stock different sizes and styles, which is nice since not everyone fits into a size two, obviously. What's great is they also carry those ND and MN themed shirts, plus good brands; Liverpool is one I keep seeing, so it must be popular, and if you're after something different, it sounds like you have a pretty good chance of finding it there.

Honestly, the thing that keeps coming up in reviews is how amazing the customer service is. The owner, Kay, seems to be a big part of that; lots of people mention her going out of her way to help, not pushing sales, and giving honest advice. The staff too--they come across as really friendly and helpful, like they actually want you to find an outfit that looks amazing on you. I am seeing words like "warm" and "inviting" to describe the store which isn't what you always get. I keep noticing things about community involvement, which is really nice. So it sounds like they're more than just a place to buy clothes; it's nice to see them doing drop offs for supplies and things.

Maurices in Grand Forks seems to have a pretty decent selection, which is always a plus. I appreciate a place that carries lots of sizes, especially when they cater to plus-size women; that's not always easy to find. They’ve got everything from casual sweaters to jeans, not to mention all the little extras, you know, the earrings and stuff. It appears the prices can be pretty reasonable, mainly if you catch a sale.

From what I've heard, some people have had great experiences in there. A lot of the reviews mention the staff being super helpful, especially when it comes to finding the right size or putting together an outfit. I've read where customers were really happy, feeling like the employees listened to them. But there are a few mentions of inconsistent service, with some folks saying they felt pushed to open a store credit card, though. It's a gamble what you gonna get, I reckon.

Hot Topic in Grand Forks carries all kinds of stuff for, you know, alternative interests. It's a place where they sell band tees, a ton of anime stuff, and those Funko Pop figures everyone is collecting, plus manga and stuff from franchises from Minecraft and My Little Pony. It seems like a good place to find clothing that reflects your own personality and some of your favorite fandoms.

A lot of people say the employees there are really great, which is always a plus when you're shopping. I heard the customer service is really good, and they create a welcoming environment for shoppers. They have been known to be super helpful and knowledgeable, or so I've been told. I've heard people saying they also have a great selection of clothes and often have pretty good sales. Apparently, it's somewhere LGBTQ+ people feel safe and accepted, and everyone says the staff is awesome.

T.J. Maxx in Grand Forks is kind of a treasure hunt situation because they always have different brand-name stuff at lower prices, you know? I hear you can usually find clothes, handbags, and stuff for your house, sometimes they even have foodie things if you're into that. It's a nice opportunity to find a bargain that's not bad and the variety is usually quite good.

People always comment on how great the prices are, and how they rotate their selection, which is true. Getting to discover unique things or find a total steal is, lets be real, really fun. Quite a few reviewers even mentioned how friendly and helpful the staff is, saying there's some really stand out associates - Lexi, Jake and Viki especially. For the most part, the store is clean, and it's well-organized, which is nice. Although, I've heard clothing sizes can be limited and the checkout line is frequently long, not enough staff.

JCPenney in Grand Forks provides a pretty comprehensive shopping experience if you're looking for apparel, offering clothes for all ages and genders. They've got a pretty wide range of options, including suits, dresses, and shoes and some of their departments include accessories, cosmetics, and home goods. Plus, I hear they also have salon services, which can be very convenient if you are looking for that sort of service.

I've heard some shoppers have had really positive experiences, especially mentioning the staff's helpfulness and friendliness, which is always a plus, and I even see customers calling out employees such as James and Sharon by name. Supposedly their salon provides great haircuts, too and they have awesome deals, especially in clearance. I see they stock a variety of sizes and they seem to be having a ton of sales recently! It's a little more dated looking now, though, but I guess what isn't these days, am I right?

Cabela's, now part of Bass Pro Shops, is basically Grand Forks' one-stop shop for anything you might need if you're into the whole outdoorsy lifestyle. Think fishing, hunting, camping – they have it all, plus clothes and shoes. Honestly, if you are searching for that perfect Carhartt jacket or some hiking boots, this might be your best bet in town. Of course, they also sell guns, archery stuff, and all the accessories. They do a pretty good job making it visually appealing with the wildlife displays and that huge aquarium they have.

It's cool to check out the reviews; you'll notice that many folks compliment the vibe of the store overall, along with the helpfulness of the staff, and the fact that they seem to actually enjoy the outdoors, is a major plus. It seems customers appreciate their expertise when choosing which items to purchase. The animal displays and fish tanks are a super frequent highlight, too. Of course, there is some negative feedback too, for instance, some people mentioned that it can be hard to find help, and prices can be a bit higher than at Scheels or Walmart, however, a lot of people seem to love that the store has a bargain cave where one can find items for discounted prices.

Boot Barn in Grand Forks is supposed to be a decent option when you need western wear. They have a pretty good collection of boots, hats, jeans, I think even belts and shirts, the whole shebang. I heard they usually stock Cody James and have stuff for both guys and girls, which is pretty cool.

I hear people mention that it's easy enough to find what you're hunting for. They also usually have helpful and nice staff, which makes a big difference, you know? Organizationally, they get plus points, and the cleanliness of the shop contributes to the positive shopping experience, which is always a bonus. There's a bunch of items to look at. Some people think it's a little expensive at times and they could use more stylish ladies' boots, but generally people are pleased.

Spencer's at the Grand Forks mall, it's definitely that shop where you can grab a bday gift for your hard-to-shop-for younger sibling, right? You'll see a bunch of stuff from like band tees and keychains, to gag gifts, and hey, even some tarot decks plus adult novelty items, whatever strikes your fancy. They also have a collection of accessories; I think snapbacks and backpacks are in the mix, so it’s a super mixed bag when you're shopping.

The staff apparently makes the place. People mention that workers are always nice and helpful, and really accommodating making it a fun place to shop, even if it’s just browsing after work. Loads of reviews mention the cool and unusual stuff they sell, and it sounds ideal for finding unique gifts, especially for those hard-to-please teenagers. Several people noted the band shirts, novelties, and the atmosphere in general. I saw that someone mentioned they had a good experience getting jewelry but watch out for cheaper products, some of it can be low quality.

Plato's Closet in Grand Forks is a good spot if you're looking to refresh your wardrobe without totally breaking the bank. They buy and sell used, name-brand stuff, so you can usually find pieces that are way cheaper than what you'd pay retail. I've seen that some people especially appreciate that they've expanded to include a Sioux section as well as plus sizes. While some find it to be a little pricey for used clothing or felt the offers when selling clothes here is too low, many rave about the good prices and helpful employees and even got some really great deals here.

From what people are saying, they've got a really wide variety of things, and their prices are unbeatable, which makes it a go-to place for those of us who want to save a little. Finding brand names at these prices is a steal.

I keep hearing from others about the cool stuff they’ve found at Ross – I mean, apparently you can get everything from clothes and shoes to furniture and home decor. People seem to think the staff is generally friendly, which is always a plus and you’ll never know what treasures you’ll find. Its also great to hear how they often get a steady stock of deals every week; however I also read some people can have issues there when stores are not well stocked or organized, and sometimes the lines were long due to understaffing.
