LOFT in Gresham carries cute women's clothes that don't break the bank; I think that is an appropriate summary. You can find a pretty wide selection of stuff there too, spanning from dresses to pants to tops, plus all the accessories. Plenty of people I know swear it's *the* place around here if you're trying to build a closet of versatile pieces, regardless if its for work or just hanging out on the weekend. And I've also heard that they really try to make it a comfortable shopping experience, so you can hopefully discover some outfits that make you feel good.

The customer service at this particular LOFT is something special, i've heard; its really been a topic of conversation. I see a lot of shout-outs for employees specifically, like Alia, Jessica, Karime, and Becky, who are always supposed to be super helpful and friendly to you, plus they offer personalized styling advice, which is always a plus. The staff will supposedly jump through hoops to assist you with things such as sizes and returns and online orders, so that's kind of them. It really makes a difference when a store is committed to treating everyone with the same level of respect, irrespective of how they're dressed, though you know a lot of stores aren't like that. I did see some people mentioning they wish there were more sizes available though, and some were frustrated they closed to do inventory during the day.

Rue21 in Gresham caters to the younger crowd, with clothing and accessories that's pretty on-trend, plus they’ve got sections for plus sizes and men’s stuff. You can usually find something cute no matter what your personal style is and the prices seem decent as well. From what I've seen, they seem to have a little of everything, too, if you need an outfit for work or just something casual, and I did notice they also sell perfumes, aftershaves and that kind of stuff as well. So when you're thinking "clothing stores nearby," its selection and pricing definitely put it on the list, though it probably depends on your personal taste.

I notice people often compliment the staff at this location because they seem genuinely helpful and friendly, which is always a plus. Many reviews say the store's well organized, too, and its layout makes shopping a breeze. The frequent sales and clearance racks get a lot of love, especially that plus-size selection they have, I think that's great that they carry this option! A few people mentioned some employees specifically that made their shopping experience really great. On the whole, it appears most people find it a pretty pleasant place to shop.

Marshalls in Gresham is a pretty good place to score deals on a ton of different stuff. They've got clothes for everyone, plus home goods, kitchen things, even workout gear, if you're into that. Honestly, you can find anything from recognizable brands to totally unique items, and the prices seem pretty reasonable, or cheaper. For anyone wanting to find a large inventory, it's probably on your route.

People seem to really love the thrill of the hunt at Marshalls, which I get. Lots of reviewers rave about the good prices and the random, unexpected things you can discover. It's nice that they've also got a good selection of name-brand clothing, cool stuff for your house, and even some international foods. Plus, a bunch of people mention the staff being super friendly and helpful, which is always a win. However, some people mention issues with disorganization, the shelves sometimes being empty, and the cleanliness of the restrooms or dressing rooms. Also I heard something about needing to address theft to help make people feel more safe, but this doesn't have to do with Marshall's staff per se.

Maurices in Gresham is a decent spot for trendy women's clothes; they seem to focus on things you could wear to work, plus a nice selection of jeans and inclusive sizing, which I appreciate. A lot of people seem to find quality items and decent deals, though. Seems like if you're trying to refresh your closet, it could be a good option for finding various pieces that fit your style!

It sounds as if the customer service at this Maurices really makes it stand out, and for good reason. Loads of reviews mention how friendly and helpful the staff are, especially Kirsten and Sabrina; I think it is great when employees go above and beyond like that. Apparently, they're great at helping customers find exactly what they need and even sorting out account issues, I wish every store had employees as amazing as this. Some people have complained about pushy credit card pitches or inconsistent service, and I heard that when they are low on staff, checkout is slower than normal. But overall, people seem to love the clothes, the quality, and the sales, which could make it easier to build a new wardrobe without breaking the bank.

#5 Zumiez

Zumiez in Gresham, if you're unfamiliar, is essentially a retail spot dedicated to streetwear and all things skateboarding. They definitely curate a vibe that's very specific, stocking shoes, belts, skateboards themselves, decks, plus a whole bunch of clothes. While there’s a handful of other clothing stores around here, Zumiez has made a name for itself because it caters to a younger crowd, the kind of person who's super into skateboarding culture. They got other accessories and stuff too, those little extras you don't always find just anywhere.

People rave about how helpful some of the employees are, specifically naming Nate, Caylik, James, Harley, Jess, and Peter—apparently, they are a joy, giving off such great energy. Honestly that matters since retail work can be tough. Reggie even gets a shout-out for putting together a skateboard as a birthday present, which is honestly going above and beyond. Occasionally, though, some folks aren’t as thrilled, claiming they ran into staff who weren't really paying attention or were kind of impolite, and somebody even felt watched the whole time as if they'd do something wrong. Plus, price-wise, it can be a bit spendy for sure, and that little kids section sometimes feels lacking.

Big 5 Sporting Goods in Gresham is a pretty standard sporting goods store, but it has shoes and some clothing too. I guess that makes it convenient if you're already there, it sells athletic shoes and team apparel, plus outdoor gear and camping equipment. People seem to appreciate their deals, I hear especially on shoes and camping stuff. The thing about deals is that you need to be in the know, so sign up for their emails, you could save money.

I keep hearing that the staff here are friendly and helpful, which is always a plus and a good thing because sometimes I don't have the slightest clue what I need. Some customers even shout out specific employees by name and I think that's how you know they are doing a good job. Others mentioned a clean and organized store, and being easy to get to makes a difference, too. On the other hand, a few people have had issues with stock, but I guess everywhere has that these days, right?

Old Navy in Gresham, it's definitely a go-to spot for clothes for pretty much anyone in your family. What's neat is that they have good prices so I don't worry too much about my bank balance, plus their stuff isn't too trendy so you can still wear it next year. You can seriously find something for everyone, from the littlest kids all the way up to plus sizes, though. I think it could be even better, when I'm feeling it and my wallet agrees, Old Navy's a great place for staples.

I've heard a lot of people saying the staff there are really nice, that they are happy to help you find the right sizes, which is always a win. Customer service can vary, and sometimes it's crowded, but overall it's positive, which is probably why I keep hearing about it. Honestly, I think it depends on when you go to a store to what kind of service to expect. It's nice, too, that sometimes there's some really great deals, and I've even heard of a dress shirt that only cost 47 cents - that's amazing!
