Carter's in Los Angeles is pretty much a staple for kids' clothes, especially if you're on the hunt for deals. I hear from other parents that they've got a pretty good selection, plus they're always running some kind of promotion to catch your eye, it's hard to resist. Apparently, the brand is known for holding up well after multiple washes, which, honestly, is half the battle when you're dealing with babies and toddlers.
People seem to really appreciate the staff there, many reviews mentioned how genuinely helpful they were. You know, like actually taking the time to help you find something or figure out sizing which sometimes seems off. Plus, being able to order online and pick up in the store is a huge plus for security. Still, there was some things people weren't so crazy about, some found it a bit on the smaller side and maybe not as many options as some of the other bigger stores out there.

Olverita's Village in Olvera Street is definitely a place that captures a specific vibe. You can find traditional Mexican clothes, gifts, and food all bundled together in a really colorful space. It could be your one-stop destination if you're planning a Mexican themed party or just want to browse unique dresses and jewelry. I've heard its a must-see for tourists looking for something different, with people saying you will literally feel as if you've walked into another country, with all the shops and places to eat around.
Many people find unique and beautiful things when they're there, especially the dresses for special occasions, though it can be a bit expensive depending on what you want. The staff, I have read, are often described as super helpful and nice, which makes shopping way more enjoyable if that's what you are looking for! While I did see some comments online about the prices being a little higher, and also issues related to online fulfillment, the general impression seems to be really positive, especially if you can go during the week to miss the big crowds.

Buck Mason is a men's clothing store here in LA that seems to have a really solid reputation, particularly when it comes to quality. From what I've read, they specialize in menswear that is classic, functional, and designed to last – wardrobe staples and neutral tones are what they're known for, which I appreciate. Supposedly, they've also put a lot of thought and care into the shop's design; it's supposed to be modern and inviting, too.
Honestly, I've heard so many rave reviews about the customer service at Buck Mason, which is always a major plus, you know? Seems they're really good at helping guys find the right sizes and put together outfits. The comments I saw consistently emphasized the genuine and pleasant shopping vibe they cultivate. Giorgio Rossi Mens Clothing, a men's store here in Los Angeles, it sounds alright. They have a good selection of stuff you know, suits, dress pants, sweaters, even denim, sport coats, and accessories, the usual suspects of ties and handkerchiefs. The thing is, they put a lot of attention on those imported suits, and finding some stylish things which is good for when you need big and tall sizes. Word on the street, you can find both modern styles or those basic cuts, sometimes at prices that won't hurt your wallet which is awesome. I heard there is a tailoring shop close that they can refer you to.
I keep hearing people rave about their service, though. Cornell, Peyman, Chris, even HooMan, people mentioned them. The people shopping there are saying they have knowledge about men's suits, they give helpful advice, and pay attention to what looks good on you. Customers mentioned the prices are good, and the suits are about the same as other well-known, but more expensive, brands. There are positive reviews, many have bought from them for decades! It seems like people feel like they are family, which is really nice, and the team is dedicated to getting you that perfect fit that makes you look your best! Oh, but keep in mind I did read one review from someone who had some issues with the customer service, so they decided to shop elsewhere.

Word on the street is, it's *the* place to go in LA if you're hunting for legit vintage finds, you know?
People seem to really dig the selection, plus the prices are decent, I hear. Lots of love for Micki, the owner; apparently she's super helpful and has a great vibe, which can make all the difference, am I right? The shop's layout is supposed to be really organized, which is always a plus, especially if you're trying to find something specific, and she knows the store super well. And the best part is that they have a great selection of jewellery under $10! I've also heard tell of people finding treasures like kimonos, leather goodies, and one-of-a-kind jewelry there. But, keep in mind, that there are a few complaints about customer service and some comments about feeling a kinda pretentious vibe and some issues about price discrepancies.

Like, they really go the extra mile to help you find something great and make you feel confident, which is, I mean, the whole point, right? Lots of reviewers loved how welcoming the atmosphere is. #8 Big 5 Sporting Goods

Big 5 in Los Angeles is a decent option for picking up sporting goods; they seem to carry a little bit of everything, including athletic clothes and outdoor stuff. They aren't just a place to grab a hoodie; they also sell equipment for fishing, camping, alongside exercise. I'm not sure about other locations but they usually have a decent selection in shoes at the very least and you can sign up for e-mails to receive digital coupons!
I've heard customers say the staff is pretty helpful and friendly, that they had a great experience and they really appreciate when employees go the extra mile. A lot of folks talk about the good prices, especially on sale items, as being a real win. The layout and cleanliness are talked up a lot too. Its a shame they seem to run out of certain things sometimes. I hope they improve on their staffing. Some people have mentioned sizes being limited and that it's not always well organized, but it looks to me this isn't a common concern.

Rave Wonderland in Los Angeles seems to be this really fun spot, especially if you're prepping for a festival or rave. They have a huge range of stuff – outfits, accessories, even Kandi-making supplies, which is pretty cool. I've read that they also carry things that make people feel safe, and that the music and vibe makes shopping feel like a pre-rave, which is definitely a big plus. If you're searching for a clothing store in LA that just gets the whole rave scene, then this could be it.
People online definitely seem to love the staff; they're apparently really friendly and helpful, so that's nice! I keep seeing reviews talking about how energetic and welcoming the atmosphere is in-store, too. Customers appreciate the wide selection of rave clothing, with some specifically mentioning the plus-size options. Monday: [9 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [9 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [9 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [9 AM-6 PM], Friday: [9 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [9 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
GUESS Onsite in Los Angeles, is a clothing store. It stocks Guess stuff – clothes, shoes, accessories – for everyone in the family. Though keep in mind that the reviews have said that it can be a bit small and they don't always have a massive selection, particularly for guys. If you're on the prowl for decent discounts near Los Angeles, it could be worth a gander.
People seem to really dig this store due to the prices and the deals, they say you get deeper discounts than in the mall. Plus, several reviewers shout out the team, especially Roxana, Mary, and Dorian, for being really nice and always willing to help. Customers also noted that they found a varied collection of items, including watches and bags, for prices that seem too good to be true. It's true that some have said that sizing's inconsistent or that selection is a little limited; for the most part it is considered a great stop for fashion that won't break the bank.

#11 Space City Vintage

Monday: [12-8 PM], Tuesday: [12-8 PM], Wednesday: [12-8 PM], Thursday: [12-8 PM], Friday: [12-8 PM], Saturday: [12-8 PM], Sunday: [12-8 PM]
Space City Vintage in Los Angeles is seriously cool because it's more than just a vintage clothing store, even if that's what I heard it was. They curate an awesome selection of pieces from different decades, think denim that actually looks like denim, band tees that tell stories, and totally unique finds that'll take you straight back to the 60s or even Y2K. It's not just about clothes though, there's records too, plus they'll sometimes do live music and hardcore shows in the location. Also, they sometimes have tattoo artists and other cool vendors! It's a totally vibrant experience.
People seem to really dig the vibe at Space City Vintage and how helpful the staff is, who are super friendly, they've got a good rep it seems. A lot of people also mention the selection of vintage stuff, particularly the band tees and the eighties stuff - which I know a lot of people like. I heard the prices are actually pretty good, and that it's not too hard to come across unique things, which is always a bonus. Free events, live music, records, and tattoos contribute to it being pretty cool. I saw a review though that said somethings are overpriced, especially if they're damaged, that's a bummer. Also, I heard it can get super hot in there during the summer as they lack AC.

#12 Big 5 Sporting Goods
6314 N Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90042
Monday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-9 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-9 PM], Friday: [9:30 AM-9:30 PM], Saturday: [9 AM-8:30 PM], Sunday: [9:30 AM-7:30 PM]
Big 5 Sporting Goods in Los Angeles is definitely an option when you're trying to find both sportswear and gear for outside. They carry a pretty big range, from activewear and shoes to stuff you can throw on when it gets cold for men, women, and kids. You can get tennis rackets, tents, fishing poles, pretty much anything that will help you get active and enjoy the outdoors. So, if you've been searching "clothing store near me in Los Angeles" and realizing you also need a new pair of hiking boots, maybe give Big 5 a shot.
I've been hearing really good things about the staff at that location and what people are saying are things, for example, their prices are great, mostly when it comes to things such as shoes. The convenience factor seems huge, as well, from what I can see, between the parking situation and them generally having a good stock of different items; I think it's pretty awesome that they went out of their way and even found a specific thing. Some people have mentioned issues with inventory sometimes being off or the customer service not always being A+, but I'd say that it is important to note that a lot more reviews were positive.

#13 H&M

Downtown LA's H&M is a solid option if you're looking to revamp your wardrobe without emptying your bank account. They've got everything from shoes to makeup, with decent selection for men, women, and kids. Supposedly this store’s a flagship location, and you can find things there other H&Ms don't carry, which is definitely a plus. Quality, eh, it’s not going to last forever, but it's good enough for a few seasons.
Apparently, what makes this H&M stand out is how tidy it is, especially since some locations can be... chaotic, to say the least. People seem happy with the helpful staff and the sales, which is always a draw. I mean, who doesn't love a good deal. Also, if you’re a musician needing all-black everything last minute, this is your spot, apparently.

#14 Kools
110 Japanese Village Plaza Mall, Los Angeles, CA 90012
Monday: [12-6 PM], Tuesday: [12-6 PM], Wednesday: [12-6 PM], Thursday: [12-6 PM], Friday: [12-6 PM], Saturday: [12-7 PM], Sunday: [12-7 PM]
Kools in Los Angeles is definitely a store to check out, especially if your aesthetic leans toward retro. It's got a really cool mix of rockabilly style meeting that sharp Japanese street fashion, plus a little hot rod edge thrown in there, too. You'll find a bunch of clothes and accessories that totally give off those 50s and 60s vibes, but with a modern, Japanese twist that makes everything feel super unique. I heard people go crazy over their shirts, vintage-inspired dresses, and the cool hats. Also, I'm told they have wallets and even multitools that are totally original; they're pretty sweet.
What's really cool is that a lot of folks rave about how fun and different the store is. People really love the rockabilly and vintage vibe that's hard to find elsewhere. The employees are super friendly, too, and really go out of their way to help you out. The music and whole atmosphere are said to be great. I saw one review that was a little negative about one employee suspecting the customer of shop lifting, and there was another review about the sizes being too small. Overall, though, it sounds like a good shop with friendly staff, a unique selection of clothes, and a fun vibe.

#15 SUAY
905 Mateo St, Los Angeles, CA 90021
Monday: [10 AM-5 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-5 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-5 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-5 PM]
SUAY sounds really cool; they're doing amazing things with recycled materials in LA. I heard they’re committed to sustainability, plus they’re all about community. Instead of letting old fabrics go to waste, they turn them into awesome clothes and home goods, like those colorful quilts I saw online, a body pillow that is gorgeous, or offer services such as clothing repairs and dye baths. You can even give your old clothes for them to use or you can shop the free rack; it really seems like a cool spot to support an ethical company that cares, you know?
From what I read, people are really happy with SUAY and what they stand for, that they are creating something ethical. I saw so many comments praising the quality of their stuff and how friendly the people who work there are. I heard that the dye baths are a super cool way to refresh your wardrobe, and it’s good knowing that they're also paying workers fair wages; they are doing a great job saving materials from the landfills. I did notice a few people mentioning communication problems, or dye orders taking a while, or there was an occasion for damage to clothes during the process, and high prices. And, someone said that they wanted to charge them for donating clothes, or a price quote was way too high. However, the majority of reviews were overwhelmingly positive; people were really happy with the durable upcycled items and thought it was really important to support a business that's focused on reducing textile waste.

Dover Street Market in downtown LA's Arts District isn't just a shop; it's a whole experience, right? They've got this killer curated selection of high-end brands and cool streetwear; I'm talking Balenciaga, Comme des Garçons, the whole shebang. The way it's set up, it feels like wandering through a really hip art gallery. If you're hunting for clothes that are a little bit different from what you see every day, this is the store you want to go to.
Honestly, people seem to rave about the vibe there. Plenty of reviewers mention the staff being super friendly and helpful, that's always a bonus, specifically shouting out employees who helped put together outfits. Then there's the Rose Bakery inside, which gets crazy good reviews for its pastries, and you know I love a good bakery. I guess some people had issues with parking and maybe long waits during sales, plus some mention that the staff can be a bit pushy, and there’s inconsistencies with online orders. Overall, though, it seems like it's one of those places that's worth checking out, especially if you appreciate when fashion is considered an art form.

Urban Outfitters downtown has a pretty cool location because it is in that old movie theater, you know? They've got trendy stuff--clothes, accessories, sometimes cool gift things. And while their selection is usually geared towards teenagers and people in their early twenties, they do have some records and books. They also stock like, those small apartment kinda home decor things; but, it is more expensive than other streetwear stores.
The staff seems like they’re really good, a lot of reviewers mentioned how helpful and nice they were, which is so important. Many reviews complimented the atmosphere; some even mentioned a photo booth which is a fun, quirky thing. It’s awesome hearing that the store is well-organized, particularly that sale section, but I'm not sure why reviewers are so concerned with that stuff. It’s a well-loved shop, there’s many loyal patrons.

Popkiller Second is this clothing store I've heard about in Little Tokyo, LA and it is really interesting. Apparently, it's all about mixing American and Japanese pop culture, which sounds pretty rad. I think I saw that they stock vintage pieces alongside graphic tees, a ton of accessories, and other random fun stuff, plus, they even sell windbreakers and clothing for kids.
Word on the street is that Popkiller has awesome designs, I heard they have good quality shirts, and people love the overall cool vibe of the place. Burlington in downtown Los Angeles offers some great deals on a bunch of stuff, from clothes for, I guess, everyone to shoes, home things, even sometimes luggage and beauty products. I think it's supposed to be, maybe, a treasure hunt kind of vibe since they get new brands and styles all the time. Apparently, it's where budget-minded shoppers can hopefully get good deals on brands they recognize, you know?
People who shop there seem to really love the low prices and big selection; they say you can find unexpected bargains, which is cool. Plus, lots of folks compliment the cleanliness and the way it is set up; with friendly employees, helpful security, and, I guess, elevators for the multiple floors. A lot of people mentioned they have good home decor, lots of towels and a big purse section. Still, I've heard some complaints about long lines to checkout because of not enough staff, lack of restrooms, and issues with parking costs and cleanliness. Some shoppers also said they have had issues with the selection compared to other stores, and some racks aren't as organized or are missing sizes.

OMAMImini in LA is a kids' clothing boutique that, honestly, sounds pretty rad, based on what people say. It's got this rep for really cool, almost avant-garde, modern designs. And apparently, the clothes are made from super soft fabrics, gender-neutral, and really well made—so well made that I've heard people say they wish they could get the stuff in adult sizes. Seems like they are popular for high quality, fashionable pieces and my friends go there.
The reviews are mostly glowing; people keep talking about the amazing quality and how stylish the clothes are. People seem to love the minimalist thing they do, and the fabrics are a big hit. It's cute that some folks even mention the owner, Ola, by name, and say the customer service is really friendly and helpful; I've heard the shipping is crazy fast too, which is always a plus. Someone told me about a negative incident, though, it seems that a customer service wasn't great; but the brand is overwhelmingly positive.

UNIQLO at The BLOC in downtown LA is a two-story spot that carries clothes for everyone. They seem to be known for their quality basics, I hear their cotton tees are amazing. You can get jeans as well, plus they always have a seasonal collection, so it's always worth checking in. And I've read good things about their collab designs. Honestly, it sounds pretty good, they are a Japanese brand with modern designs at reasonable prices.
People online rave about the price-to-quality ratio; the basics are especially well-regarded. The staff are really helpful, which is always a plus. I heard they have tailoring, I think that's such a great convenience. It's really annoying to find clothes that fits well. Also, the layout is spacious and well-organized, I believe it's a good shopping experience. It's awesome that they offer a good variety of styles and sizes for all.

Arc'teryx's La Brea store in Los Angeles has a real rep for being the place to go for amazing outdoor clothes. They've got a huge range, from jackets perfect for hitting the slopes to durable pants for tough hikes, not to mention shoes and accessories to finish off your look. The design is supposed to be cutting-edge, and they really focus on materials that will last, which is a quality I can get behind. C & I Clothing in Los Angeles seems to be a go-to spot for workwear essentials and some classic looks. You're able to find a good selection of Dickies and Ben Davis there, alongside jeans, Levi's, and even some cool corduroys; which is good if you like that retro look. For those needing a perfect fit, people have mentioned they do on-site alterations, this is a great add-on.
Plenty of shoppers rave about the customer service and the owner's tailoring abilities, though some have different experiences. Honestly, from what I'm reading, many customers are happy with the owner; describing him as patient and helpful. Getting free alterations and a fast turnaround seems to be a huge plus, but I also saw some stuff about the owner maybe being rude or impatient if you don't buy anything, or even racist. It's hard to say, but the shop has been called an "authentic OG small business", a nice local shop with fair prices.

Ross Dress for Less in downtown Los Angeles is a spot to find a bit of everything, from clothes and shoes to random home stuff and even perfume. You can definitely score some cute finds if you take the time to look. Some people consider it's a haven for bargain hunters because they seem to have pretty good deals on name brands. I mean, if you're on the hunt for decent prices in LA, it's probably worth a peep, ya know?
People seem to rave about how cheap everything is at Ross, plus they stock a bunch of stuff, and there's always the possibility of finding a designer piece for a steal. Lots of reviewers mention the staff is usually pretty friendly and helpful too, which is a big bonus, especially for a downtown store. I hear folks discover decent quality stuff at prices that make gift-shopping or just stocking up on everyday things totally doable. A few folks did mention long lines and customer service that wasn't always stellar. Some mentioned the place being a little messy, and apparantly there isn't a restroom for customers.

Macy's in Century City is a department store; you know, the kind with everything from clothes and shoes to makeup, jewelry, and even stuff for your house. Plus, they've got tons of brands that you’ve actually heard of, and they're always doing a sale or some sort of discount, which is what everyone likes to hear. If I was looking for a big department store option in the LA area, Macy's is definately one of them.
A lot of people are really happy with the staff at this Macy's; I've seen good things about Martha in cosmetics because she really goes the extra mile. Mike in menswear gets mentioned a lot, too, for making the shopping trip easier. Plus, I've read that they have great last-chance deals, that's the kind of place to be. On the flip side, there are definitely some comments about not having enough people working there, which creates longer lines, or finding sales associates on the floor, so hopefully they've taken care of that by now.

Ross in Los Angeles is a decent place to check out if you're trying to save some cash on clothes. They stock stuff for everyone – men, women, kiddos – and even some home stuff, accessories, sometimes furniture even. It's a bit of a treasure hunt, honestly, but you can score some pretty sweet brand-name deals.
What I've heard is people appreciate those low prices and the thrill of the hunt for good deals on labels. A lot of folks mention how friendly the staff were, also that the customer service is on point, and some locations are kept pretty tidy, making the whole shopping thing more enjoyable. And speaking of options, they have everything from outfits and shoes to stuff for your place, perfumes, you name it. It's cool hearing that some people felt safer with the security and attentive staff, it's definitely something you consider, though. One thing, the feedback does mention messiness, disorganization, long checkout lines, and not-so-helpful workers. Also, they're probably right that some spots, parking is a pain, or there's like, other safety issues from homelessness, so it changes the vibe somewhat.

Zara's a clothing store downtown, right in Los Angeles, and they stock a whole bunch of stuff-- clothes, shoes, accessories, for guys, girls, and kiddos. It's got trendy designs at prices that don't make you weep, because, you know, rent. I think they pull inspo mainly from European fashion. Is Zara the best clothing store in Los Angeles? Well, maybe if you are looking for the latest styles, yeah definitely. Plus, they usually have fragrances and bags, it's all in there.
People seem to really dig that Zara is well-organized and clean with a big selection to choose from, that's always nice. Finding one-of-a-kind pieces is possible, people are always hunting for them! Plus, it's nice how the men's and women's sections are actually separate from each other, I think I prefer that. And if you happen to catch a sale, that's definitely great too. Sierra, who works there, is a great one. However, and I hate saying it, but there are always some complaints, stuff like slow checkout times, and I get that sizing there can be inconsistent; and those things can be valid complaints.
