I think it's cool they sell team swag from local teams, plus they carry brands almost everybody knows: Nike and Under Armour. Sometimes, though, it feels they don't always have what you're looking for, that is especially true if it's based on the season or what teams are popular around town.
Lots of people mention the staff are great with shoes or golf stuff, offering attentive service and really helping you pick stuff out, but it really depends. One time someone there wasn't helpful at all when I needed assistance. It's a plus that the store's usually tidy and offers a good product variety, and curbside pickup can be convenient. I've heard a few people have had issues with finding employees on the floor plus sometimes they wait forever in lines, but I think this is just what happens when you're trying to buy something popular at a popular store. There are times when you catch a staff member that goes above and beyond.

T.J. Maxx in Rockville is this kind of department-style store where you can find so many discounted goodies; it's located pretty close to me, actually. They got stuff for everyone - guys, gals, kids - plus all the extras, jewelry, makeup, stuff for your house, even luggage and random foods. It's really the spot where people hunt for deals, especially since you can often find some pretty good brands for less, which, I mean, who doesn't want that?
People seem to like that you can save a buck, and the selection is pretty decent, that is, if you're okay with sifting a bit. Finding some awesome thing you never knew you needed, that's always fun, particularly for clothes, handbags, jewelry, and cute home stuff. Apparently, a lot of folks have had really good interactions with the staff, which is always a plus, especially when the store is neat and tidy. Some people have found designer stuff for a steal, and thats why they say its good for people trying to stretch their dollars.
