Miette is a really cute shop located somewhere around New Orleans, it has some very eye catching things inside and out! They stock a bunch of locally made stuff, which is always a plus in my book. You can find everything in there from some really cute jewelry and clothes to pins, patches, and even artwork to decorate your house. The overall vibe is bright and colorful, making it a fun place to check out if you want something that isn't boring. There's also an upstairs that I heard has some art geared toward more grown-up tastes, if you're into that kind of thing.
Honestly, it sounds like the kind of place where you can find something for just about anyone, including yourself. Lots of people say they're greeted by a super friendly staff, which always makes a shopping experience better, right? Reviewers seem to really dig how much they support local artists and love the LGBTQ+ and body-positive environment. I have seen some people mention that some items can be a little pricey, but they felt that you're paying for the high quality and supporting artists directly. Seriously though, it is awesome that people get to find some very creative wares there by local artists.

Monomin is that boutique in New Orleans – you know, the one with that effortlessly cool vibe. It's got a curated collection of clothes that aren't going to be out of style next week, plus shoes and jewelry that won't completely drain your account. They seem to focus on really versatile stuff, which I appreciate, because who needs a closet full of clothes you can only wear once. Their style is pretty minimalist, which is nice, because honestly a store with too much clutter gives me anxiety, but I will say the online shop is clutch. You should check them out, seriously.
People seem to rave about Monomin, particularly its customer service, because having sales people who aren’t pushy is a great experience. I saw on a review somewhere that Brooke, Rachel, and Cari are awesome. And that they do the handwritten thank-you notes is a nice touch, because, honestly, who does that anymore. But I mean fast shipping, good quality, not a bad price point, and inclusive sizing is a plus. Lots of people enjoy the Facebook live videos because it helps them figure out how clothes will look on their body type.

Step 'N Style Fashions in New Orleans seems to be the place if you're needing menswear, uniforms, and accessories, especially for a guy in your life. From what I've gathered, they've really carved out a niche as a go-to for area schools. They do the whole embroidery thing, which is handy if you are looking to get personalized stuff, since I know that can be such a hassle. It seems like a decent option if you're specifically after something school-related, or maybe a gift for your partner.
It does sounds as if most customers are pleased; it seems like the customer service is normally pretty great. The internet reviews are consistently mentioning friendly, knowledgeable employees. Apparently, the store is kept tidy and well-stocked, which, let's be honest, is half the battle when shopping. It does look as if a few people feel like they could use a little more attention when first walking in, and that there aren't as many colors to chose from as there should be. From what I've read, I have high hopes that they have what they say they have.

The staff seems to know their stuff and go out of their way to help you find the perfect fit and even rush tailoring if there's some kind of wardrobe emergency. They carry all kinds of crawfish-themed clothes and even formal wear which make them a destination for both tourists and New Orleaners. I guess they have a bad rep for being rude, or a bit snobby.

Road Kill, tucked away somewhere in New Orleans, is definitely a place that marches to its own drum. You'll find a wild collection of clothes that aren't quite from this planet, ranging from goth vibes and punk rock rebellion to steampunk and rockabilly dreams. They seriously have everything: shoes, corsets, dresses, hats, jewelry and apparently voodoo dolls. It's clearly the spot to hit if you're done with the boring, same-old trends and want to express a bolder style.
I've heard people consistently rave about it. Apparently, the staff really know their stuff and help customers find the perfect fit and look – I think someone said they even got styling advice. Folks seem to appreciate that they've got a wide range of sizes, which is cool, and the selection is supposed to be really unique. However, a few people did mention some inconsistent pricing situations, and a few others mentioned not liking that you can't take pictures inside.

The store has multiple locations, making it easy for anyone hunting for unique pieces to hopefully find something they're obsessed with.
What’s cool is how many people rave about the staff, they’re always name-dropping Vanna, Paris, and Tammy, Kelsi, Hallie, Rochelle, Alyssa and Elizabeth in reviews—talk about personalized service, because they were helpful with sizing and giving styling tips. It sounds like they carry a wide range of sizes, even plus sizes, which can be tough to find, and shoppers seem to think its a pretty body-positive space. People seem to really dig the unique, vintage designs and amazing patterns, especially if you're into that pin-up look. There is complaints from some people; those complaints are generally about the fabric not matching the price, with people wishing that the online return policies were easier to deal with.

A ton of comments rave about their friendliness, patience, and overall helpfulness, even when it's packed. It's also been noted that the place is cleaner than some department stores, and sometimes the prices are better, too. And you can find options there for the whole fam, which is great since, lets be honest, who wants to shop in multiple stores these days? It just might be worth it to stop in if you're looking for a good all around spot, but its best to have some patience.
Customers seem to rave about the massive selection, especially when they can find good quality stuff that's not gonna break the bank. I hear the staff is usually really helpful and friendly; some people say they go above and beyond to help you find what you need, that's a really nice touch. Many people have had a really good experience with the associates who were really nice and even the manager being friendly; all of the customers agree that they were very helpful. I guess it can get a little slow sometimes, and a few people have mentioned not the best customer service across the board or issues with online orders, but overall? It sounds more positive than negative for sure.

Urban Outfitters in New Orleans is a spot that carries, well, everything; clothes, accessories, some quirky home decor items, even vinyl. It’s in a pretty accessible part of town, and I've noticed it has a kind of curated selection of vintage-inspired stuff mixed in with some trendier pieces. What I’ve heard is that it's supposed to kind of capture the whole New Orleans vibe, with two floors where you can wander around and find something different than what you already have.
Most of the reviews are pretty positive; it appears to have a cool aesthetic and some seriously good sales which is always a plus. Folks seem to appreciate the staff being friendly and helpful, and that the store is kept clean and organized, I think having a good selection of clothing and accessories helps too. I saw one review even mentioning someone spotted a celebrity there once, how cool. However, not every customer had perfect experiences, with a few people saying the staff can be inconsistent and some items are overpriced; some even complained about a limited selection of men’s clothing, which, yeah, seems to happen a lot.

I see Nordstrom Rack in New Orleans as a pretty decent spot, especially if you're looking to snag some deals on clothes, shoes, and accessories, for him or her. It's got that outlet vibe, I mean, the discounts can be legit. They even sell some home stuff and personal care, which is nice to browse while you're in the area. I have heard that the organization in the store has room for improvement.
Honestly, I keep hearing that it's the bomb for its variety, prices, and how easy it is to get to. It's close to the French Quarter, and hotels, not to mention that view of the Mississippi can really be nice to see when visiting. Plus, they've got a food court going on, with a Cafe Du Monde inside, which is convenient if you want beignets without that crazy line. Also, international peeps can get their tax refunds here, which is awesome! They have been saying it's not always super tidy, and inventory might fluctuate, but overall, it's convenient to walk to.

Lots of reviewers mentioned the employees being super friendly and helpful, which is always a plus, especially if you need some help picking out something. The "cute" and "cozy" vibe got a lot of love, and I can appreciate a store that's a nice place to browse. Some people seem to think it's the best clothing store in New Orleans because of its unique stuff and how the staff treat you. From what I understand, they specialize in giving you that cool vintage vibe, hand-stitched suits, plus those one-of-a-kind finds that you just can't get anywhere else, and I guess they have some local items too?

People really appreciate the unique and high-quality clothing options, saying they can find pieces they wouldn’t see anywhere else and you can't forget that most find their prices are pretty fair compared to other fancy retailers. People seem to be mostly happy with the store, giving shout-outs to how tidy and well-organized it generally is. The staff gets a fair amount of love too, with several customers calling out specific employees who were especially sweet and helpful, and many reviewers say that the check out lines move quickly. I think of the Marshalls in New Orleans as basically a treasure hunt. It's in Mid-City; a department-style store that's kinda smaller, offering clothes for everyone, shoes, home stuff, beauty bits, the whole shebang. The prices? Pretty great, honestly; that's probably why it's a great place to find name-brand stuff for less, and it feels like they're always getting new things in, or at least, some reviews say that.
People seem to dig the staff there, always saying they're friendly and helpful; one person even said they got greeted with hand sanitizer! And honestly, a clean and organized store is a huge win. You can find some real gems there too, especially when it comes to shoes. It's nice when a store's checkout is quick, not when it takes all day, and some claim the prices beat the big box stores. Some reviewers pointed out that the selection can be hit or miss, there might not be quite enough plus sizes or men's clothing. The lack of layaway is a major bummer for some, and it is true the inventory is not always consistent, or so I've heard.

Lululemon in New Orleans is that athleisure place where you can find workout gear and comfy clothes. They definitely carry all the basics – leggings, shorts, tees, that sort of thing - great if you're into running, yoga, or even if you’re just trying to nail the casual but put-together look. Some people think that it is the best clothing store in the city, and hey, it's not wrong to be a bit boujee. It's pricier, yeah, but the quality is usually pretty great; they usually have different sizes stocked, but I've heard some dudes have a hard time finding their sizes sometimes.
Honestly, what I've heard consistently is that the staff there are amazing; Customers shout out people such as Durian, Claire, Ally, Joenn, and Abby for being so helpful and making shopping a breeze. People really appreciate when they give you advice on what to wear or let you know about discounts, it's just a more fun atmosphere. Also, I've heard the store is tidy, the location is convenient if you're hanging out around the French Quarter. Though, you know, some people have had different experiences, saying the service can be inconsistent. And while most reviews were glowing, I did hear from one person that the employee was disrespectful, and there were issues with applying a military discount.

The word is they even have custom-made pieces and unique prints, which is pretty neat. For those wanting some vintage fashion, Dollz & Dames boasts a diverse selection, something for everyone.
From what people are saying, the staff at Dollz & Dames really shines. I've heard that Citi Trends in New Orleans is a decent option if you need affordable clothes, especially for men, they seem to have some cool stuff and shoes that don't break the bank, though it is still a store. I guess if you're hunting for a budget-friendly clothing store in the area, it's worth checking out and see what they have to offer.
A lot of people online keep going on about how friendly the staff is, which is always a plus, plus great customer service is worth its weight in gold, they say. From the reviews that I read, they have a pretty big selection of clothes, including some brand names stuff, and a clearance section, if you're into that kinda thing and I also came across that some people have found unexpected deals, which is a bonus. Skechers Factory Outlet in New Orleans stocks a pretty wide array of their shoes, which, I gotta say, they do have some crazy comfy memory foam options, plus work shoes if that’s your thing. From what I've gathered, you can usually find decent prices; people have mentioned snagging good deals especially when they're running that "buy one, get one half off" thing, which is always tempting. If you're on the hunt for shoes and prefer a brick-and-mortar store, it might be worth checking out as a spot to find a replacement for an old pair that's on its last leg.
It sounds like many people have had really positive experiences with the staff; shout out to Melanie and Rene for apparently being super helpful and knowledgeable. Reviewers often highlight the comfort and styles of Skechers, so the brand seems to have a reputation for quality and fit that people appreciate, which is always a plus. The bigger selection and potential discounts also seem to resonate. On the other hand, I've seen some comments about unhelpful or even rude staff, difficulty getting assistance, and a somewhat cramped layout, which maybe isn't ideal if you're rolling through with a wheelchair. It’s pretty cool that they have mini-boutiques dedicated to brands such as Chanel, Gucci, and Tom Ford; it really elevates the shopping experience, though you would expect this from such a store. Word is, the beauty departments, especially Chanel and Cle de Peau, have staff that really knows their stuff too. There are some customers that report negative experiences with some workers, with some saying they were rude or not helpful, but the amount of positive reports outweigh the negative. They totally cater to people who need a statement piece, whether you need an outfit for a special occasion or you just like to stand out from the crowd. They do have a men's section, but, you know, the women's side seems to get a bit more love.
Honestly, people seem to dig this place, I get why, who doesn't like discovering cool t-shirts or easily finding what you're looking for? A lot of times, the staff is nice, which is always a plus. It has a great layout. You can always find really cool vintage items. However, some shoppers have mentioned that the prices can be a little high, staff being rude at times, and the plus-size selection, you know, could use some improvement, which is a bummer.

#48 Ross Dress for Less
2900 S Claiborne Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115
Thursday: [9 AM-8 PM], Friday: [8:30 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [8:30 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [9 AM-8 PM], Monday: [9 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [9 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [9 AM-8 PM]
Ross in New Orleans is one of those stores that carries everything, and it's hard to beat their discount prices on clothing, shoes, home goods, and even makeup. They seem to have stuff for everyone in the family, from what I've seen online and that's probably one of the reasons that I consider it a great option when I need to purchase stuff on a budget. I’ve also heard their prices are particularly good, like those insane sale days that nobody wants to miss and some people says the employees are amazing but some claim to have negative experiences.
I always see people raving about the deals you can find, saying it's a treasure hunt for designer brands that won't break the bank. It sounds as if you can grab a bunch of different things there, such as clothes and even fragrances, which is really convenient. If you read the reviews, a lot of people are impressed with the selection of shoes and how nice some of the employees and security people are, but some people don't seem as excited.

#49 Brooks Brothers
333 Canal St Space 1.21A, New Orleans, LA 70130
Thursday: [11 AM-7 PM], Friday: [11 AM-5 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-4 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-4 PM], Monday: [11 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [11 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-7 PM]
Brooks Brothers in New Orleans is, well, it's Brooks Brothers, offering the usual suspects when it comes to clothes: menswear, womenswear, the whole shebang. You can probably find a suit or a sport coat there, but it does seem a little out of place being in a mall. They do alterations too, which is nice if you need your pants hemmed.
People who shop there seem to love it, always talking about how nice the staff is, you know? Apparently Ben, William, Roberto, Erica, and Preston are particularly helpful; they really go above and beyond, especially Ben. So many have praised the quality of the stuff they sell, also how great the seamstress is because she makes alterations quick, especially Robert who seems to really make people happy. Though the clothes might be a bit pricey for some, I suppose the top-notch quality and service balances that out.

#50 STNDRD ATHLETIC CO. - French Quarter
335 Decatur St, New Orleans, LA 70130
Thursday: [12-6 PM], Friday: [12-7 PM], Saturday: [12-7 PM], Sunday: [12-6 PM], Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [Closed], Wednesday: [12-6 PM]
STNDRD ATHLETIC CO. nestled in the French Quarter of New Orleans has got some pretty cool stuff, from a solid lineup of sneakers to hats and street style clothes. You can usually find the big names you'd expect – Adidas, Nike, Jordan, New Balance – but sometimes they have surprise finds too. It definitely has a boutique feel to it, which is great if you're a total sneakerhead or just someone who likes to stand out with their clothes. They might just be in the running for the best place in NOLA to get all your athletic and casual wear.
Lots of people mention digging the selection they have, especially when they find something a bit unique or limited-edition. The staff gets good reviews; some folks say they're super friendly and really know their stuff. I've heard that can make shopping much better when someone is helping you and is chill. Though, I heard about a few people that felt differently with the staff in terms of attentiveness. Apparently a few people didn't like the customer service, particularly when it came to exchanges, and some were not happy with the conditions of the boxes. A couple of reviewers are complaining that the price is not always what is advertised. There are a few people that said that they think the shoes sold there are not authentic, so it's good to do your research.
