If you're searching for a clothing store that feels more 'neighborhood gem' than generic retail, The Black Scintilla in Oklahoma City might be just the place. They've got this reputation for having a really fun and colorful selection of clothes and accessories plus unique gifts that will make you rethink that plain candle you were gonna buy. I hear they are committed to actually having sizes that work for a lot of different body types, you know, because bodies are different, and they appear to focus on supporting the local community, it is important to shop local.
People who visit often say the customer service is what sets this place apart from other places. It sounds like the staff knows their stuff and are super friendly. Which makes the entire shopping experience more pleasant when the associate is helpful and not pushy. Plus, customers are really into the fact that they carry different sizes and that you can find pretty unique things without spending a ton; I think I saw somewhere that they have free alterations too. I heard a tiny amount of people had an issue with the refund policy and a label issue, but honestly, it feels like most of the reviews are very positive, so it is good for clothing options!

#2 J. Lilly's Boutique
10901 NE 23rd St, Oklahoma City, OK 73141
J. Lilly's Boutique in Oklahoma City seems to be a pretty popular spot for those looking for trendy stuff. They've got a wide selection of clothes, shoes, jewelry, and even some home decor items, so you could probably find something you want, however I think the inventory could be bigger! I think they do a good job of stocking recognizable brands, for example: Kendra Scott and Rustic Cuff, plus those "Made in Oklahoma" things, which is nice if you're wanting to support local businesses. I'm sure a few people will be happy to see they carry OSU and OU apparel, even if I have no stake in the game.
People seem to really dig the selection of clothes and accessories, raving about finding perfect date night outfits or scoring unique gifts for their friends and family. The employees are suppose to be friendly, which is always a plus, but i'm sure some people have a bad day (especially on minimum wage). Plus, online shoppers reported quick delivery, which is crucial nowadays. The biggest complaint is the prices, as some think it's a little too much, and I heard there isn't many clothes that are plus sized or accomodating.

Uptown Cheapskate in Oklahoma City is getting a lot of buzz, and I can totally see why. People are saying they have a great selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories that are actually stylish, and not going to break the bank, which I'm always on the hunt for. It looks like they do a good job curating their inventory and keeping it trendy.
Honestly, I'm seeing a bunch of reviews mentioning how clean and organized the store is, which is a big deal for me – I just can't deal with rummaging through piles of clothes to find one decent thing; I need a space to be orderly. Folks also compliment the staff being super friendly and helpful, and its nice when you get help, ya know? Some people have commented on their buyback policy not being the best, I can see how that can cause a problem but most people seem to have nothing but praise for them.

It's a whole vibe, honestly, if you're looking to find something unique, locally made or handcrafted, you know?
I've heard people completely rave about their plants, particularly, and the staff are supposedly amazing about giving plant care advice, which, lets be honest, I could use. The fact that they have inclusive sizing and quality local jewelry is pretty great, plus they seem to really focus on great gift options, which is always a win. Customers have appreciated how much they support local artists, and the atmosphere and friendliness of the people that work there is appreciated. It sounds like a great place to spend some money.

Craig's Curious Emporium in OKC is more than just a clothing store, it's this whole *thing*. I mean, yeah, they have clothes, but there's also books and incense, gemstones, the kind of jewelry you won't see everywhere, and what's called spiritual and metaphysical stuff. It's the spot if you're after gifts that are a bit out there or something different for yourself, but be mindful of the prices. If you're into having to find stuff for your craft they have something for all price points.
People are really into the selection there, especially if you're after tarot cards or crystals. Lots of customers will say that the staff are super helpful and genuinely know their stuff, that's what I've heard, anyway. The general feeling about the store is that it's inviting, but I think it's a little overcrowded. If you're really into crystals, they have the most crystals that I have ever been to, prepare for crystal overload. I think everyone should give it a look at least once, to be able to see everything.

Apparently, they are pretty active with sales or promotions, which is always a good thing when you're wanting to buy something. Monday: [12-7 PM], Tuesday: [12-7 PM], Wednesday: [12-7 PM], Thursday: [12-8 PM], Friday: [12-8 PM], Saturday: [12-8 PM], Sunday: [12-8 PM]
I've heard a lot of good things about 10th St Sneaks, it's that clothing store close to me in OKC that everyone goes to for cool shoes and vintage finds. They apparently got a decent selection of, you know, the retro sneakers that are making a comeback, plus a bunch of older clothes and accessories if you're into that style of thing. I guess it's *the* place to be if you're a total sneakerhead or just trying to put together a killer outfit, but I don't know anything about it for sure.

There's also something about them stocking hard-to-find sizes, which is a big deal for some. And I see a lot of people say the atmosphere inside the store is really chill so, they're comfortable shopping there. Even newbies to the sneaker game feel welcomed because, apparently, the staff are good about explaining everything. Though, I did read some people had questions about how authentic some of the sneakers are, but for the most part, the reviews seem positive and it's a popular place in Oklahoma City.

Monday: [12-7 PM], Tuesday: [12-7 PM], Wednesday: [12-7 PM], Thursday: [12-7 PM], Friday: [12-7 PM], Saturday: [12-7 PM], Sunday: [12-5 PM]
Dig It Boutique in OKC sounds like a total gem; I can see why so many people are obsessed. I've been seeing it pop up all over online, and the reviews are pretty convincing if you're into vintage finds, local art, and supporting small businesses. They’re also clearly making a real effort to champion local creatives, which I think is awesome, and providing a safe space for queer folx is super cool. They clearly take pride in creating a vibe.
Honestly, reading through what people say, it seems more than just a store; it's a whole experience. So many are saying the staff is rad and super helpful; they find new things to check out, and how they try to include weirdos, outcasts, and eccentrics. It sounds like there's something new to see every time you walk in, whether it's vintage clothing, upcycled pieces, or art from local artists. Of course, not every place is perfect, and you'll always find someone who thought things was pricy, but overall, it looks like the positive definitely outweighs the negative in this case, a fact.

It's *the* spot for when you need a present, since they've got a huge variety of things that would suit anyone's taste. Plus, a lot of the brands they carry are locally made, which is always a bonus.
People really dig Blue Seven because they find unique, high-quality products, but also because the staff is super helpful and friendly, which you don't find everywhere. They're dedicated to supporting local artists; I am here for it. It looks like they've been around for a while, and customers love how their style and selection is always evolving. Folks seem to really appreciate their Oklahoma-themed items and how they represent local pride. I've heard their known for adorable accessories and even some home décor pieces, which is kind of cool, you know?

I also heard they got trendy stuff you just don't find everywhere, including some Oklahoma-themed tees, which is always a plus when you want something local. The 405 Spot seems like a solid option in Oklahoma City if you're hunting for urban wear or anything with a Chicano vibe. Word on the street is they carry everything from shirts and shoes to accessories, and I hear they even do custom shirts, which is kinda neat. I'm thinking it's probably a decent bet if you want unique and fairly good quality clothing.
Apparently, people really dig the customer service there; lots of praise for the staff being friendly and professional and stuff, which, let's be honest, you don't always see. Several reviews mentioned the great selection, especially that they carry real Levi's 501s and some California styles from East LA. Also, good on them for catering to a wide range of sizes, up to 4XL even bigger; it’s a major win for inclusivity. I've read some wild stories of them giving away free shirts on birthdays, and even letting a customer have something when they were short on cash. Citi Trends in Oklahoma City seems to be the place if you're looking for cute, trendy outfits without breaking the bank, though. Apparently, they don't just do clothes either; people mention finding kids' toys and home stuff there, so it’s kinda a one-stop shop situation.
It sounds as though customer service varies a bit, but plenty of shoppers have said the staff's normally friendly and helpful. What sounds great is the store manager (Johnerta), since people rave about her warmth and helpfulness, which is always so nice when you're trying to find something to wear. It's a bummer I heard they could use more plus-size options; hopefully, they'll expand that selection soon. I've also read that it can sometimes get a little messy, hopefully, this is something they continue to improve.

You can usually find basics shirts and jeans, or find a trendy dress to wear for that date. Seems they have a ton of accessories, too, to complete the outfits. The reviews I've seen are mostly positive, people appreciate the value for name-brand items, and how they say the staff's friendly. Word is that some people even travel a bit just to hit up this store, which is kind of wild. However, I've seen people commenting on clothes' sizing not being accurate and the quality can be hit-or-miss sometimes, also organization in the store may not be up to par for some shoppers. They seem to be a hub for people who really care about fashion trends and sneaker collecting, offering brands such as Supreme, Bape, and Golf along with Nike Dunks and Air Jordans.

Gellco Clothing and Shoes, located somewhere in OKC, seems like a pretty solid place to check out if you need work clothes. From what I've gathered, they've got a good selection of work boots, safety shoes, and those flame-resistant coveralls that are required for certain types of work. Plus, they try to stock all kinds of brands and sizes, which is awesome, since finding the right fit can be such a pain.
Honestly, I am impressed by the number of people that mention how helpful the staff is there, too, apparently they will go out of their way to find just what you need. And some folks have said their prices are reasonable, which is always a bonus, or they have some good sales. Another neat thing I heard is Gellco has this warranty thing where you can bring boots back if they don't end up feeling right after a bit - you just get store credit so you want to make sure you'll use it. Honestly, that is good service and the amount of positive reviews outweigh the negative.

I've noticed a lot of people talk about their great selection of kids' clothes, work-appropriate outfits, and cool vintage tees. Plus, they stock things for your house, electronics, shoes, and even backpacks with headphones. It's almost too good to be true, you know?
What's great is you can actually find your size there, which isn't always the case everywhere else. The prices on business casual stuff are actually pretty amazing, based on reviews I've read. It looks like you could save some serious money. Some reviews were bad because it was a bit disorganized, and the cashiers, it seems, not so friendly. I guess you can't have everything. But even with those issues, judging from a lot of reviews, sounds like it's worth checking out for the good deals and how much variety there is.

It's that kinda place where you could totally revamp your closet if you're aiming for a certain look.
A lot of folks rave about the selection at Cavender's. Apparently, their boot and jeans selection is particularly good, though the jean shirt options might need some improving. Customers seem to think that the store is pretty organized, which is always a plus when you're trying to shop. I've seen multiple comments noting how friendly and helpful the staff can be; some people had amazing experiences when trying on their first boots. Sure, there are a few mentions of prices being a little high, and a couple of complaints about the staff being less than attentive (or even rude in some instances), but the overwhelmingly positive mentions on the service are hard to ignore. Folks appreciate the military discount, also the price matching, and some have had good experiences doing returns. One reviewer even said the customer service was the best they've had from a retailer in a while, since this guy called ahead, and then the employee had his size 15 steel toes waiting for him, along with remembering him needing boot socks.

Ross Dress for Less is pretty well known around Oklahoma City as a spot to snag some deals. You can usually find name-brand stuff without completely emptying your wallet, which, let's be real, is always a plus. They have clothes, shoes, accessories, but the home stuff is nothing to scoff at either. You might see some cute decor or bedding, it depends; that store is a mixed bag.
What I've heard is people rave about the prices, especially when you can find something higher-end drastically marked down. I mean, who doesn't appreciate saving money? Word is they have decent selections of baby clothes, toys, even beauty items, which is great if you're shopping for gifts (or yourself, of course!). Seriously though, people go nuts for their workwear and winter stuff; I've heard you can get camping stuff and shoes there too. A friend mentioned to me that they even have a random assortment of underwear and other items, and the prices are pretty decent. They also have layaway, which is pretty cool. Word is their clothes hold up for a really long time, or at least, that's what someone told me.
I hear people really appreciate Sam's Best Buys cause they have a decent range of clothes for all shapes, it's good to know. Plus, they say the clothes are good quality and last forever--which you don't see much anymore. A lot of people have been shopping there for years and years, and they seem to love the owner, who is apparently really nice and knows his stuff; there's also been comments that he likes to chat with folks. I did read that he's looking to retire sometime soon. Maybe I'll check it out sometime.

And everyone seems to agree the t-shirts are unbelievably soft – you know, the kind you want to live in basically, I'm seeing people claim that these are the SOFTEST t-shirts they've ever owned.
What really stands out is the variety they offer and what other customers are reporting. Apparently, they have a ton of Thunder, OU, and OSU gear, which makes them a total go-to if you're into sports and repping your team in style. Most reviewers had excellent things to say about the service and their marketing team, always getting good deals and creating unique content. I have heard there are usually tons of clothes, plus you can find furniture, housewares, and sometimes even electronics, which is pretty cool. It seems like a solid place to hunt for some hidden gems if you don't mind doing a little digging.
Word is, they're pretty good about keeping inventory stocked and putting new things out all the time, which is nice. One of the best things about it is the color-coded discount system; I think it's an absolute win when you snag something for nearly nothing. I've heard other shoppers have gotten lucky with higher end clothing, electronics, or even furniture pieces, without breaking the bank. I will say though, they don’t have dressing rooms or allow returns, which seems a bit messed up.

Old Navy's definitely a staple around Oklahoma City, I see their commercials all the time. It's got the whole family covered, right? Men's, women's, kids' clothes, you name it. Dresses, jeans, tees...it's a pretty big selection. Plus, who can forget their seasonal sales? You know, like that flip-flop thing they do. I think it's cool how many different options they have.

Bass Pro Shops in OKC? It's a massive place, I hear, and it is supposed to be the go-to place in town if you're at all into the outdoorsy type things, fishing, hunting, camping; that kind of lifestyle. Word on the street is they have, I'm told, an awesome selection of gear, clothes, and footwear so getting equipped for, say, a hike is, should be easy enough. I've been seeing a lot of pictures of families, it's not just for the serious sportsman, with some pretty cool activities going on, especially at Christmas.
I've been looking at a few reviews on the joint, and it sounds like the atmosphere is great, people really dig the huge fish tank and I saw some parents mentioning a kids' area to with stuffed animals that's a good time for them. Folks really seem to appreciate the friendly staff is often commended, and if you're needing help buying or fixing a bow, especially from Jacob in the archery section. There are some complaints about slow service or unhelpful employees at the gun counter, but they can't all be gems, can they? Still, the reviews suggest it's a top spot for outdoor enthusiasts in the city with a lot to offer even if you just enjoy browsing around.

Express is a store in OKC that I know a lot of people shop at. They're generally known for good quality clothes, plus it seems there's always something for everyone, gender-wise. I think they carry all the usual stuff, dresses, shirts, jeans, and all the accessories, but word on the street is their men's dress shirts and boxer briefs are where it's really at - if you're into that kinda thing.
I hear good things about Express's customer service, which is always a plus, and a friend mentioned they consistently have great clearance sales, so that's something to keep in mind. Apparently some folks think the store's gotten better about size inclusivity, which is great cause everyone deserves to find clothes that fit. Plus, I saw a review claiming the staff is usually pretty good about helping you find what you need, from sizes to fitting rooms even if it takes a minute to find someone. #34 Tops & Bottoms

Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [1-5 PM]
Tops & Bottoms in OKC is pretty popular around here, and I've heard it's a solid option if you're trying to find a bunch of different stuff, no matter what size you are. They're supposed to be great because they have stuff that's priced so well but that it's not too inexpensive, it's right. Plus, they carry all sorts of things - from your basic tees to warm winter clothes and even some of that urban stuff too; I thought they had some clothes that men liked too. It's apparently *the* place to snag plain T-shirts in practically every color imaginable, so I've heard.
A lot of people I know has been shopping there since they were little, which is why the business is good and has a strong reputation for its clothes. People seem to really appreciate the staff being helpful and that the prices are fair, if you think of it that way. Also, they have a good thing going with their selection of Dickies and the way they display their urban wear. For those taller guys struggling to find shirts that fit, I think they are the only place to get a brand-new Tall-T. It does seem kinda true that some people aren't crazy about the hours or thinks some of the clothes are bad, I can see why people are not a fan of a clothing store like that.
