T.J. Maxx in Pearl City seems to be the type of store that carries everything but the kitchen sink, but sometimes you find a kitchen sink. They have departments for clothes, shoes, and even stuff for your house, plus beauty stuff, and pet supplies. It's a total bargain hunter's paradise, you know? People go crazy for this place because supposedly, you can find designer brands without totally breaking the bank.
From what I gather, people really appreciate when a store is kept nice. Plenty of shoppers mentioned how clean and organized the Pearl City T.J. Maxx is, which is always a plus. They also seem to think the staff is genuinely friendly, which is awesome because not all retail employees are like that. Plus, they're always getting new stuff in, which is cool. While the selection can be hit or miss—and some guys said the mens clothes are lacking—it seems way better than going to Ross for most things. I've heard from someone it's the spot to hit for finding that really unique gift.

Ross Dress for Less in Pearl City sells a lot, from clothes and shoes to even like luggage and home stuff - you can find a pretty decent selection. I feel like it's generally thought of as a place where you can save a dollar because they have great prices. You can definitely find deals sometimes on name-brand items, especially if you're willing to hunt around a little, I think. If you don't want to spend too much on clothes and you're near Pearl City, this might be worth a looksie.
People compliment the good prices and that there's a lot to pick from; It's sort of fun looking for bargains. I do like how friendly the staff is, especially the cashiers; It seems important to people that the store is clean. The location being easy to get to is a nice perk to. You might hit long checkout lines because of popularity and sometimes things aren't super organized and I hear they don't always have everything in stock, which isn't great. Some people have been made uncomfortable because employees watch customers too closely or certain managers weren't great so I guess that's something to think about.
