Sama Rose By Asrar in Raleigh is a real gem if you're on the hunt for modest clothing and hijabs. They have so many choices – from everyday dresses to formal wear; which is great when you're trying to find something for a special occasion. Plus, I appreciate a store that's well-organized, you know? Makes the whole shopping thing so much less stressful when the store smells good!
What really stands out, though, is the amazing customer service I keep hearing about. Apparently, Asrar, the owner, is super attentive and helpful, making everyone feel welcome and supported. People are saying she has an eye for what looks good and has plenty of options for hijabis. The fact that they support Palestinian workers and carry products from the Middle East makes it even better, not to mention it's a women-owned business! I've heard that some kaftan dresses can be a little pricey, but everyone agrees that the quality totally justifies the cost.

Nashona is a local clothing store in Raleigh that specializes in unique, authentic African styles, and I heard it's really worth checking out. They've got clothes for everyone – men, women, even kids – plus jewelry, skincare, and even paintings; I think it's cool that most of their stuff comes straight from Tanzania.
People are constantly talking about how well-made and distinctive everything is at Nashona, they say the fabrics are durable, and the patterns are definitely vibrant. A lot of customers mention they always get compliments whenever they wear something they got there. The owner gets a lot of praise because she is very helpful and really knows her stuff, and it’s nice that she helps you find things that actually fit your style and how you want to feel. Plus, I also heard they do tailoring, which is always a bonus when you don't fit into the small, medium or large standard sizes. I saw one review where someone wasn’t happy with the customer service she received, but, for the most part, everyone seems to agree that Nashona is the place to go in Raleigh if you are looking for unique, good-quality African wear.

Talbots in Raleigh is definitely one of those stores that comes to mind when I'm looking for classic pieces, and from what I hear, they're pretty good about keeping things stylish, too. Plus, they've got a petite section, which is a huge win, not every brand is so inclusive. I've heard their sales are worth checking out, and a lot of people compliment the quality of the stuff, so I mean, what's not to love, right?
What I appreciate hearing from people is how friendly and helpful the staff are; I mean, nobody wants to shop somewhere where the employees are giving off bad vibes. It's really important to me that places be clean and well-organized when I go shopping, and apparently Talbots has been recently remodeled, which makes it even more appealing. But from what I saw online, there were a few people who thought the selection wasn't quite what it used to be, maybe they were saying there's less of a selection, and that it can be a bit spendy when things aren't on sale. However, plenty of people seem to think the clothes fit great, they love all the personalized attention, and especially those constant sales that save us all.

I've heard they've got a good selection, not just clothes either, but shoes and those little accessories that can really make an outfit. Someone mentioned they even carry clip-on earrings, which is cool cause it can be difficult to find those. Plus, if you are on the lookout for a steal, I’ve been told that their clearance section is where it's at – a decent variety for pretty cheap.
What’s really catching my attention about Cato is that people seems to speak highly of both the value and the service. I read a review saying their staff is really friendly, and that the stores are generally organized and clean, which makes the whole shopping experience way more pleasant. It also seems ordering online isn't a total nightmare, since people have said the delivery is speedy. Still, the consensus seems to be that Revolver's a great place to find high-quality stuff that isn't in all the malls.

They somehow manage to cram in clothing, home stuff, even fresh groceries – it's kinda impressive, tbh. Also, the staff's been really friendly anytime I've been there and that helps a lot.
For a smaller store, it's surprisingly well-stocked, and you can usually find what you need, which is why people enjoy it. Uptown Cheapskate over on Avent Ferry Road, yeah, I've heard good things. Apparently, they have a crazy friendly staff who are happy to help you hunt for what your looking for. What’s more is that they got a ton of clothes, especially if you're into NCSU gear, or need a cute jacket or coat for the winter, they're definitely stacked with outerwear. The cool thing, I'm told, is that you can sell them your gently used clothes, they'll give you cash or store credit.
People seem pretty happy with how quickly they process sales and, you know, the fact that they're keeping clothes out of landfills. Plus, they got some really cute clothes at prices that won’t kill your wallet, and the convenience of selling your old stuff is clutch. They remodeled fairly recently as well, making the whole shopping experience a little bit more sleek. I read that the store does get slammed, though, especially when people try to sell their clothes; some have said wait times were crazy long, and they didn't feel like the offers were that fair, which is a shame. Overall, I can see why it's so popular.

People seem to really love the deals that dd's DISCOUNTS offers. I think the staff usually get positive mentions, and it's good to hear they usually have what people are looking for and more. The only real downside seems to be potential long lines which tbh is a store that offers great deals.

You can find everything from clothes and accessories, and I heard they even carry books now; it's supposed to hit a bunch of different styles, too. It's a place where people are going to get the current styles and still have cash to spare for a few coffees, maybe.
I've noticed that a lot of people compliment their deals and the actual quality of the stuff you can find there. It's also cool that they apparently have books about Black historical figures - love that they do that. The vibe and music are usually on point, plus people say they have cute outfits sometimes and you can look good in the fitted jeans. The men's and kid's selection aren't always the greatest, and I have seen people complain about the organization and customer service every now and then, but that seems to be a few exceptions.

Which I think it's fun.
What I'm hearing is shoppers dig that the store's got a lot to choose from, plus the sales are good, and the employees seem pretty awesome. A lot of people think it's laid out nicely and it's in a good location downtown, but I heard someone mention that parking is a hassle. Social distancing is really important these days, and I see that they are putting some effort in to keep people safe. I guess some people want them to have extended hours and public bathrooms. I also saw some people hoping they'd carry bigger plus size selections, and maybe expand the men's section. Overall, though, it does sound like one of the better places to shop in Raleigh.
