Patagonia's Reno service center is primarily focused on their repair operations and distribution, it is not set up as a normal retail store. I've heard, though, that the clothing is amazing quality. Plus, if you're already downtown, its worth remembering the main store offers free repairs, or so I've read anyway.

A lot of people write reviews raving about their customer service, the repair service seems especially popular, and its neat that they will mail your items back. The recurring thing is how durable the clothing is – I guess its a worthwhile investment if its really true. People have been known to name drop employees that gave excellent service and that they were prompt. It also seems they're into being sustainable too, some reviews mentioning their local school support and garden. There are some complaints, some Canadian customers mentioning shipping costs are a bit high, but overall the reviews seem to be largely positive.

D Bar M Western Store in Reno seems to be a real deal western outfitter, y'know? They have tons of stuff, from Wrangler jeans and Stetson hats to saddles. I've heard they're supposed to be the "best clothing store" when it comes to western wear in Reno, and it is nice they stock such a variety, including things you wouldn't find just anywhere. Plus, word on the street is they're really good at fixing and reshaping hats, which is kinda cool these days when people don't really repair anything anymore.

People are really happy with D Bar M's staff too. Reviewers constantly mention how friendly and knowledgeable they are; going that extra mile for customers, is good service. Apparently, they know their stuff when it comes to hat shaping and boot fitting, which I imagine can be tricky. What really stands out is how much people mention the welcoming, almost family atmosphere, its nice to have a business that values people, and not just profit. Some have been shopping there for ages, always finding cool, unique things. Though, I did see one person mentioned they felt racially profiled, and a few think it's more expensive than other stores, but I think it’s worth going to a store with knowledgeable people rather than just ordering something online.

Michael the Tailor by Babu, often just called "Raja" by his customers, comes highly recommended for anyone in Reno needing alterations, and yeah, they also do totally custom stuff too. You can get all sorts of garments worked on, from dresses to pantsuits, and apparently the turnaround is pretty speedy. I heard the shop's prices are quite good for hemming and relining, definitely more than some places.

People just rave about Raja's skills; he knows how to fit things. Many people say that he is very personable and friendly and I saw a comment that he will fix any suit if it's not fitting correctly. I saw a few reviewers mentioned how he transformed their clothes into something really perfect that fit right. Plus, several people mentioned liking his style advice. I read a few complaints about disorganization, and that he only takes cash or Zelle, but overall, the positive reviews really outweighed those. One person said he even worked on their wedding dress right before the wedding which is wild to me.

It's true that Big 5 Sporting Goods in Reno has a ton of stuff, a wide selection of shoes, workout clothes and sporting equipment for everything from baseball to hunting. I think that the prices are pretty fair most of the time, especially during sales – that's when you really can't beat it, though it is hard to find what you're looking for. It's definitely a spot to check out if you're trying to save some cash on sporting goods and apparel and it's way cheaper than those other places.

A lot of people say the staff is pretty nice, which is good, and some have even called out specific employees, Reggie and Jake, for doing a great job. Finding stuff isn't always easy, but the positive reviews focus on the store being helpful when you need gear in a pinch and they can even call other stores if they don't have your size. Just keep in mind, you might need to check those online coupons to make sure that discount isn't expired before you get to the check-out.

The REI in Reno seems alright for grabbing outdoor equipment and clothing, especially if you're into camping, hiking, biking, climbing, or even snow sports. They generally carry good quality stuff, you know, apparel, footwear, that kind of thing, plus camping essentials and like equipment for sports. It appears they even have a bike shop inside, which is neat, and I've heard they hold garage sales every so often where some decent stuff gets marked down.

What stands out, reading through reviews, is how many people praise the staff at this location; folks complimenting some employees who really went the extra mile in assisting people find exactly what they're looking for and solving problems. Being a member looks cool as you get the benefit of rewards and some savings down the road. You can see it's a popular place for people that love being outside up here, though I did notice a few comments mentioning inconsistent service and some issues with returns. Some reviewers have also mentioned that its more pricey than other locations.

Junkee Clothing Exchange and Antique Store, located in Reno, looks like a total treasure trove. I hear it's potentially the best clothing shop, and also is more than your run-of-the-mill clothing spot, because its got a crazy selection of vintage clothes, costumes, and all sorts of accessories, not even mentioning the separate antique section. It's supposed to be a pretty big, two-story space, known for its quirky decor, and I guess the amount of stuff is seriously overwhelming. Someone said it will not disappoint because you can find everything here.

Apparently, the staff can be really helpful, especially when you're on the hunt for something specific. Lots of people mention the treasure-hunt vibe, saying it's really fun and quirky. Some people have said prices can be high, but many others rave about scoring affordable vintage finds. There's so much cool stuff that I can totally see how you could get lost there for hours. What I love is they know what they have, as it feels like a vintage art display. I hear its energy is such an amazing experience with such a vibrant atmosphere.

The Patagonia Outlet in Reno is a solid spot to score some gear. It's got stuff for men, women, and kids, especially if you're into outdoor activities, offering both current-season finds alongside some good deals. Finding those deals sometimes takes a little patience, I suppose, but I've heard their commitment to quality and being eco-friendly is pretty commendable, and a reason a lot of people are big fans. Also, I believe that they have hosted several local events such as environmental awareness and science lectures.

People are always raving about the staff being super friendly and helpful; really going the extra mile to track down sizes, give recommendations. They can even ship stuff from the warehouse, which is handy. It sounds as if they appreciate Patagonia's values, too, with the "worn wear" program. It's usually clean and organized, and there is an inventory of heavily discounted and past season items. Even with some remarks on there not being much sale items, a lot of people have mentioned prices were much cheaper than the normal store price. It is indeed an outlet offering great selections at an okay price.

Macy's in Reno is a pretty big store; you can usually find what you're looking for. Seriously, they’ve got almost everything: clothes for both guys and girls, shoes, makeup, all that jazz. It is nice that they have perfumes that smell really delicious. Sometimes, though, I wonder if that mens' cologne counter is just there to track me, which is kinda creepy; what's up with that? You know, when discount stores don't cut it, it's worth it to go to a department store because they have better customer service. Plus, there's those amazing sales and you can actually touch what you're buying.

A lot of people have good experiences with Macy's, and who doesn't love that feeling of finding exactly what you wanted? I've heard the people working in fragrances, shoes, and bedding are super helpful. It's nice that returns are easy, and a clean store always makes a difference. Getting help to find what you want is really important. However, I've read some complaints around the checkout lines are too long; and sometimes staff will stand around on there phone; one person said that the customer service is ridiculously bad. I do love when they have everything organized.

H&M in Reno's got a massive selection, truly. They carry a lot of clothes for men, women, and kids. If you're looking for a place to get some basics or something a bit more fashionable, this spot offers a variety. It's hard to beat the prices, though; I always hear people mention how inexpensive the options are. They've usually got good sales happening and clearances; plus you can find accessories, too.

One of the major perks I keep hearing about is the affordability. People are always talking about the sales, and that they have trendy stuff for all ages is also awesome. I've even seen remarks regarding the awesome t-shirt deals and clearance finds. Reviews often bring up the friendly staff, the cleanliness, and that the store is easy to navigate, which is always a win; plus, the men's section gets some love as well.

Ross Dress for Less in Reno has a pretty wide selection of stuff, you know? Clothes, shoes, home things, accessories for everyone. I've heard they carry name-brand merchandise too, but for cheaper. I think they also sell linens, small home decor pieces, and some garden stuff. The inventory is always changing though, so you just have to go and see what they have that day, I'd probably look there, they have beauty and gourmet chocolate items.

Honestly, I keep hearing people are really happy with the prices and they find great deals there. It sounds fun, right? Hunting for bargains. People like how the employees are friendly and the place is kept clean, plus it's open late. It's so cool, they've got a big range of products, from clothing and shoes all the way to home goods, and stuff to gift. From what I've heard, the store's got a good layout, but you might still find those super long checkout lines.

Ross Dress for Less in Reno seems to be the go-to spot for a lot of people wanting to score some deals. You can usually hunt down discounted stuff for everyone in the family, including the pets, and they've got everything from clothes to home decor; but be aware the selection is a gamble. A lot of what I read mentions that Ross stocks both designer brands and everyday basics, which is great for affordable shopping. It sounds like if you’re patient, the right timing could reward you with an amazing bargain here in Reno.

What’s interesting is how often people rave about the prices, with some even saying Ross has way better stuff than Walmart, and that the staff can be super friendly and helpful, which is always a bonus. It is often mentioned in reviews that Ross is clean, and the location is spacious. I have read that while it can get a bit cluttered at times, people always find something they like but also they also get more than they wanted because the prices are very reasonable. The checkout lines can be long, I've been told, because of not having enough workers, but the good prices are worth it.

Uncle Junkee in Reno is totally the place to hit up if you're searching for something out of the ordinary; it's this kinda cool co-op situation and antique store all rolled into one. They've got a real mixed bag of stuff, from actual antiques to vintage home decorations, plus comics, movies, music, and even vintage housewares, they have pretty much everything you could imagine. I heard the clothing section, you know, like the vintage dresses, shoes, and western shirts, isn't the biggest selection but if you're lucky you'll find something. If you're hunting for a cool clothing store in Reno that has interesting items, this could be a spot to unearth some rare treasures among all the other knick-knacks.

People seem to really dig the fun, quirky vibe of the place, kinda describing it as this giant, awesome garage sale full of cool, one-of-a-kind, interesting things for pretty much everyone. It's the sort of place you could spend hours browsing all the antiques and random items. And from what i've heard, the staff are usually super friendly and helpful, i mean, I've even heard someone found weasle bone plugs from one of the staff! A few people have had some issues with high prices, and someone said they felt they were being watched and targeted because they were new to town. Plus, the new spot isn't quite the same as the old one, it's missing a little something, if you ask me, and finding parking there can be a total pain because they've got no real lot.
