Jack Green Men's Shop in Rochester is a real gem, apparently, that's got this huge selection of clothes for men and women – think suits, dresses, all that fancy stuff. I think they've got you covered for every event, from weddings to, well, even funerals, which is kinda morbid but practical, I guess. Plus, if you're in a bind and just need a place that does special orders, they've got catalogs for days; hopefully they can help you find what you're looking for.

People seem to really love Jack Green's, especially the owner Frank and his wife; it sounds like they go above and beyond for their customers, giving that "treat you like family" kind of vibe, which can be hard to find now. I heard people say how Frank can find the perfect outfit in no time, and that he gives really good fashion tips; who doesn't love that? The staff seems great, too, and the clothes are high quality, which is key. Plus, alterations are quick, or so they say. Honestly, it sounds like one of those places where everyone feels welcome, they really foster this inclusive environment; it is a shame there's no negative reviews for full picture, but everyone is talking highly of the place.

Seriously, you can find some really vibrant, colorful pieces; I've heard the designs and fabrics are often inspired by stuff from Ghana. Plenty of people are saying that MansaWear is the best place in Rochester if you want something totally one-of-a-kind made just for your body which honestly is a huge plus! They also do alterations and have some pretty cool gifts; it's all about giving you a really personal shopping thing, which is nice.

Uptown Express, it's a men's clothing store in Rochester, carries suits, shoes, socks—the whole shebang, even short sets and hats. It seems they're the go-to place for when you need something a bit more formal, not just jeans and a t-shirt. Plus, the reviews I've seen says they can do alterations, which is a major bonus and that the owner, or maybe someone on staff, is good at pulling outfits together. If they don't have something in store, they can even order it; that's convenient.

Customer service really shines there, according to what I've seen online. People rave about Joanne (who I'm guessing is the owner?) being super friendly and having an eye for color combos; some people say she's practically family. I've noticed that a good number of people like the prices, too, especially since the clothes appear to be good quality, and some people have been buying clothes for their dads and sons for years. A few people have mentioned that their selection is a little limited or seems dated, so you may not be happy if you want something trendy.

Figgy Studio & Shop in Rochester seems to be the spot for one-of-a-kind finds. Reviews talk about a killer selection, from handmade jewelry – apparently designed and often made by the owners themselves – to clothing, home decor, and even some vintage stuff, if that's your thing. If you're a Bills fan, I've seen online they have some merch too, they may be your best bet for gifts.

People go on and on about the "boho oasis" vibe, which you know some places can get tacky, but this sounds more curated. Also, I see a lot of mentions about the staff being super friendly and helpful, something can make a big difference when you're browsing, huh? Plus, they do those jewelry-making parties, which honestly sound pretty fun for a girl's night; some say they're a bit steep though. I saw some reviewers said that Figgy supports local artisans, so it seems worthy the price for a lot of shoppers.

The Op Shop seems like a cool spot in Rochester; it's a curated collection of vintage and secondhand clothing for both men and women. I noticed it's situated in an old house, which gives it a certain vibe; different vendors have their stuff there and everything is from everyday clothes to dressy stuff, including accessories such as jewelry. The fact that they highlight local artists and vendors is really great, also the shop values sustainability and one-of-a-kind finds.

Aaron's Alley? Total Rochester vibe. It's this cool boutique, what some might call "hippie," and it feels special, I guess. You can find a really wide selection, from tie-dye shirts to old-school dresses, plus Grateful Dead gear. They also have crystals, jewelry, incense, all sorts of gifts. It’s awesome, if you're into finding something different, kinda like a blast from your parents' past. Totally supports local artists too.

Folks say the staff is super friendly, and they really know their stuff. People have mentioned good vibes and a really pleasant atmosphere, alongside that whole huge selection of goods. Whether it's clothes or jewelry, maybe some incense or a crystal, it feels like a killer spot for both gifts and treating yourself. I mean, some people love to just browse because you find a new treasure every single time, while other people make it a regular thing. And it does that thing where it supports local artists, which is cool, and has a really chill environment, right? There are customers who have noted that the quality of a couple things weren't high quality and there were customer service complaints, like getting accused of stealing even though they didn't do it.

DTLR in Rochester definitely carries a wide selection of apparel and sneakers; you can find brands such as Nike, Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, and Adidas. I hear a lot of people say they find great deals there, specially shoes, so I guess it's a popular spot, and it's right downtown near the bus station which makes it easy for everyone to get to.

People are always talking about how DTLR has really good customer service and that the employees are nice, shout out to the people who help them out. From what I've heard, their selection of shoes and clothing is pretty impressive, many find cool stuff and feel happy with what they bought. Supposedly, the store keeps up with fresh fashions and urban styles, especially Champion gear. Who doesn't love a good sale or discount on sneakers! I've also heard not everyone has great experiences at DTLR, some complain about bad service or have a hard time finding the sizes they need, especially for plus sizes; and some feel the price is too high.

Little Shop of Hoarders in Rochester sounds like the kind of vintage clothing store where you could actually spend hours browsing. From what I’ve read, they have a really wide selection of clothes and accessories from different eras, including dresses, jackets, and jewelry. It seems perfect if you're hunting for something totally unique, especially if your taste leans toward retro looks for men and women, then it could be worth checking out.

What seems to really set them apart is the atmosphere and the owner, Monika. A lot of people mention how friendly she is and that she's involved in the local community, even helping those who are crossdressers with styles, wigs, shoes, and accessories. People have called the shop a “diamond in the rough", the staff is always willing to help you, it's a place with great prices, organized by size (rare for vintage stores), and that the selection of clothes is extremely vast (and constantly being updated). Also, someone mentioned there’s a shop dog, which honestly seals the deal for me. There's a few mentions of inconsistent hours, the smell, loud music (and even bed bugs), so maybe call ahead before you go.

Westgate Tailors & Menswear in Rochester seems pretty legit. It's a family-run spot that's been doing the tailoring thing for over 40 years, plus they've got menswear and do dry cleaning. From what I've heard, they carry a bunch of suits, tuxedos, shoes, even accessories, supposedly at really great prices; I'd imagine it's a solid option if you need formal wear, or just a couple of alterations.

Honestly, I've only heard good things, and the word around town is that the customer service is top-notch. You'll find friendly and polite staff, with most people saying the turnaround is crazy fast. People always seem to be raving about their tailoring, you know, that they pay close attention to detail, especially when it comes to alterations on suits and sewing patches, so they must know what they're doing. Plus, people have mentioned honest service, reasonable prices, and that they're happy to go the extra mile. Most people appreciate the menswear selection and how helpful Sal and his son are. Though, one person says they had a zipper issue that was never resolved, then there was that blazer alteration that was apparently impossible, until another shop did it.

Goodwill in Rochester is definitely worth a browse if you're on the hunt for pre-owned treasures. They've got a pretty wide selection, from clothes to housewares, books, sometimes even furniture, plus the bag and shoe situation isn't bad either. Apparently new items arrive practically daily, so the inventory is constantly changing! I hear the Rochester location is on the smaller side, and it's a "hit or miss" kind of thing; still, frequent trips could lead to finding something that's a real steal.

People seem to really appreciate how friendly and helpful the staff are, which is always a plus. Plus, that they're keeping things pretty clean and organized inside the store, and who doesn't appreciate a pleasant atmosphere, right? I've read customers saying they've scored great deals, even finding name-brand or vintage stuff. Plus, they do senior discounts and easy returns, which makes it more appealing, yeah? I saw some complaints mentioning higher prices nowadays, and once in a while a disorganized section, or a cashier who wasn't super friendly to be around, but honestly, most people seem to have pretty positive experiences.

Rochester Tailored Clothing – could this be the best place to get menswear around here? Word on the street is they've got some seriously good suits, sport coats, dress pants, shirts, the whole shebang, and people say they can have crazy good sales. Apparently, it used to be affiliated with Hickey Freeman, so you can find American-made stuff there and what I hear about is awesome deals, so I'm told. People seem to really appreciate how knowledgeable the staff is, and how they're all about those classic, well-tailored suits. I think the quality can't be beat, too.

It's been said people just rave about the service there, that everyone is so helpful. AnnMarie, Ray, Sekou, even Qiana, their names pop up a lot in the reviews – all that experience and patience has to pay off somehow. Some say it's a really personalized experience, and they can help you find what you want, which is nice. Empire Clothing & Footwear in Rochester seems to be a local spot, and mostly caters to the guys, I think. They definitely highlight men's clothes and also seem to have a pretty big selection of hair products, which is kinda random. But for ladies, you’re probably looking at leggings and some shoes, but don't expect a wide assortment. If you're searching for clothing options in the area, Empire is definitely an option; plus, I heard they have some street-wear stuff too, which could be worth checking out.

I did see online how plenty of customers give them props for the deals and prices and say the workers are really helpful, which is nice. Apparently, some people have been shopping there for, gosh, fourteen years or something, feeling like it's a family atmosphere, which sounds really good. I've read that some people claim that their customer service skills are not good though and the people who work there are rude. Although, it can be tough to rely on that, especially if there are new employees, sometimes it takes time to adjust to working retail.

People seem to enjoy the treasure hunt aspect, finding unique things or getting brand names for less. I get the impression a lot of folks run into friendly, efficient cashiers that make their day. Some reviews really highlighted how clean and organized the store was, which is always a major plus. There were some complaints regarding disorganization, long checkout lines, and some understaffing or lack of customer service, though. Some people were unhappy with the variety. It does feel like it may be a hit or miss situation, but, if I have the time, it might be worth checking out to see if I find anything good.
