Hot Topic in South Burlington has basically everything, from band tees and clothes to toys and random stuff, centering on pop culture kinda things and alternative looks. I heard it's got that darker vibe going on, similar to other Hot Topic stores, and apparently they carry merch from huge franchises, things along the lines of Game of Thrones and Nightmare Before Christmas. If you're hunting around for a unique clothing shop close by, a stop at Hot Topic could be the right place.
People constantly compliment the staff at the Vermont store; they're supposedly super helpful and know their stuff, always willing to help you find what you're looking for, which is nice, right? Many appreciate the cool items they have, specifically those band shirts, Funko Pops, and pop culture stuff. People generally think the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, I guess it's one of those spaces that is what it is. Plus, the rewards program, including Hot Cash, seems to be a big hit with those who shop there frequently.

Rue21 in South Burlington, from what I hear, has a bunch of clothes and colognes. Its primarily marketed towards both genders, but some people complain about the cost; apparently, they frequently have some really good sales to offset that. I saw on their website that they have music-themed stuff which is actually kinda cool. A few reviews mentioned the quality ain't always consistent, and it might be a little unorganized at times, but it does sound worth a visit for its inventory.
From what people say, there are awesome clearance racks, which is always a bonus. It seems easy to find deals in there, potentially scoring some crazy low prices. Plus, many customers talk about the staff being really helpful and super nice. I read some reviews specifically shouting out Nicky and Nikki T and praising their customer service, so that's a plus. I know that it has unique styles of clothing, but the price point is the most controversial part; Some people claim the customer service isn't great. All in all, it seems like a trip there is a mixed bag.

H&M in South Burlington is a pretty big store, you know, the one with all the trendy stuff. They sell reasonably priced clothes, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. It's geared toward men, women and teens. As a fast fashion place, the styles are always being updated, and the selection, its huge. If you're on the hunt for clothing that's trendy and affordable, maybe H&M is the spot, though sizes can be limited.

#4 Victoria's Secret & PINK by Victoria's Secret
155 Dorset St, South Burlington, VT 05403
Wednesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-6 PM], Monday: [10 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-7 PM]
Victoria's Secret and PINK, you know, the one in South Burlington, it's got all the things: lingerie, bras, underwear, clothes and stuff. I feel like it's a really good option if you want stuff made for women, and they really focus on soft materials which is just perfect. Some say it's pretty expensive. Though, for some women I know, it’s totally the place to go, it’s practically a requirement and their partners just are happy when they wear it.
Honestly, people seem to have really good experiences with the employees there, I mean, look at Jaime, Christine, Sadie, Emma, and Mary Grace, they’re mentioned all the time. It seems folks appreciate the help with finding the right size. They really try to make sure everyone feels good, especially if you aren't familiar with the brand. I did see some bad reviews that mention some associates being rude, or that the sizing is off. Size availability can also be a concern, and some people have mentioned sales associates being pushy. Still, generally, the customer service really appears to be a huge plus.

#5 American Eagle
155 Dorset St, South Burlington, VT 05403
Wednesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-6 PM], Monday: [10 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-7 PM]
American Eagle in South Burlington is a place to find jeans and comfy sweaters if that's what you're hunting for; they do sell other clothing items too, plus some colognes. If you're needing the best clothing store for denim and soft sweaters in South Burlington for clothing, that's a good spot for you to be able to shop.
I've heard a lot of people have great experiences with their staff; in particular someone named Juliana who apparently is super helpful with finding the best styles and sizes that are a good fit. Other positives I keep hearing involve the actual quality and fit of the jeans (especially the high waisted curvy fit) and their sweaters-- they are supposedly so soft! Plus, the return policies seem easy and I know some people appreciate the welcoming vibes. Though, there are some who said their experiences weren't as great; inconsistent sizing is a recurring complaint, and at least one person felt overcharged and like they had a really rude experience. I've also seen reports that plus size options are limited, which is always a bummer, and others think it isn't as nice as it used to be.
