Men In Style Menswear in Chesapeake seems to be this total gem for guys needing clothes, you know? If you're hunting for suits, blazers, or just some nice trousers, they got you. Apparently, a lot of people are saying it's *the* spot in Chesapeake for prom outfits, wedding guest attire, or even church clothes. I've also heard they carry some more casual pieces, so really, it sounds like it’s the place that has everything.
What's really catching my attention is how many people compliment their customer service. Billy, Ali, and Julian get shouted out a lot; people say they're super patient, attentive, and help dudes put together amazing looks. It sounds like they know their stuff, carry a good range of styles and sizes, and they won’t bankrupt you. #2 Na Nin
101 S Addison St, Richmond, VA 23220
Monday: [11 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [Closed], Wednesday: [11 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [11 AM-6 PM], Friday: [11 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-5 PM]
Na Nin is pretty well-known around Richmond, I think mostly because they have really unique clothing. It's not just clothes, though; they do candles, fragrances, some home decor things, and accessories. People say their in-house line is amazing and is quality, and it's why people really seem to shop there because it's distinctive.
Customers definitely love Na Nin. I've heard so many rave about their curated selection and you keep hearing that quality is key. The candles especially get a lot of buzz because the scent of the candles are awesome. Their clothing is great, too, because their pieces are timeless, many say. They also have nice staff, the staff is really helpful if you're seeking out suggestions. What’s really cool is they apparently support women-owned businesses, and indie designers, you just gotta appreciate that. A couple of people have had a complaint about the quality control and that the return policy sucks, but I think most people really like Na Nin.

#3 Alton Lane

Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
Alton Lane's a clothing store located in Richmond and it's supposed to be known for their custom suits, shirts, and other things. I think they pride themselves on that tailored, one-of-a-kind feel. Apparently they even have this crazy 3D scanner to get super accurate measurements which is kind of cool, and offer a ton of fabrics and styles?
I've heard their customer service is actually pretty good, and a lot of people mention the employees being knowledgeable and helpful. The most commonly cited reason to visit Alton Lane is to get a suit tailored to the perfect fit. A friend told me that the prices are okay and not too crazy, and the atmosphere is welcoming, and generally, they are thought to be the best spot for your formal attire needs. Even though the business is local to Virginia, there have been some reports of issues with customer service and long delivery times.

#4 Zumiez
300 Monticello Ave suite 193, Norfolk, VA 23510

Zumiez, the Norfolk location, seems to have a grip on what the younger crowd wants; I've noticed they stock a bunch of stuff beyond just skateboards, you know? Beanies, quirky clothes, little backpacks... it's a whole *vibe*. Supposedly, the selection and atmosphere is good if you need some threads or skate gear that makes you feel like you're putting together an actual look.
Honestly, I've read online how the employees really make the place what it is, and it's important that the place has quality customer support; Grace, Lee, Apollo, and Asheligh keep getting shoutouts, which is kind of a big deal. People mention they go above and beyond -- helping with styles, searching for sizes, even filling folks in on sales they should know about. It is cool how some people even feel like they've made new friends after shopping there. It sounds like a pretty clean, organized place, too, with the free stickers being a nice bonus.

Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [9 AM-5 PM], Saturday: [9 AM-3 PM], Sunday: [Closed], Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM]

#6 Aéropostale
1600 Premium Outlets Blvd #109, Norfolk, VA 23502
Wednesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-6 PM], Monday: [10 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-7 PM]
Aéropostale in Norfolk is a decent option if you're trying to find clothes that don't break the bank. I think they have stuff for different times of the year, you know, sweaters for the cold and tees for when it's warmer out. Plus, it looks like they sell cologne and accessories, which can be useful, but I heard someone mention they don't always have super thick winter pajamas. It definitely seems like they're going for that whole affordable fashion thing, hopefully their target demographic is aware.
Honestly, it sounds like customer service is usually pretty good there. A bunch of people online were saying the employees are helpful and attentive, greeting you when you walk in, it's nice to hear. Quite a few reviewers specifically shouted out Angela and Mia, saying they were super helpful, gave good advice, and just made them feel comfortable, which matters a lot when you're shopping. Also, people seem to appreciate that the fitting rooms are clean and that the pickup orders are ready quickly, which is something you want, since when you need it, you need it. Though, I did see one person complain about the service, saying no one greeted them or offered to help, and that the person at the checkout seemed annoyed, so I guess it's not always perfect.

#7 Nexus
1401 Greenbrier Pkwy, Chesapeake, VA 23320
Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-9 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-9 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-7 PM], Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM]
Nexus seems to be a clothing store in Chesapeake. They have a physical store but also do the whole online thing, which is good to know if you're looking for places nearby. Supposedly they carry a bunch of different apparel, but it sounds like they specialize in t-shirts, shorts, and stuff geared towards men and younger boys. I've heard they have decent prices. Plus, something I didn't expect, is that they offer custom t-shirt printing.
What I keep hearing about Nexus, reading around online, is how awesome their customer service is, and that's always a huge plus in my book. People have called out employees by name, like Crystal and Luis, for being super friendly and helpful, which is always appreciated. Apparently, they've got a good selection, great prices, and a generally chill vibe, which is exactly what you want when you're browsing clothes, right? Some people mentioned finding exactly what they were looking for in terms of size and style, and they also rave about the t-shirt quality. One person did point out that some of the shirts run a little small, but overall, it sounds people really like the store and would recommend it.

#8 Kitty Hawk Kites - Virginia Beach
305 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-6 PM], Monday: [10 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM]
Kitty Hawk Kites isn't just your run-of-the-mill kite shop down in Virginia Beach; it's basically a whole experience. They've got kites of all shapes and sizes, I think ranging from super-easy ones for beginners to those fancy stunt kites I can barely look at without getting confused. And it's not all kites, either. They sell other stuff, souvenirs, toys, these cool wind spinners that caught my eye, plus the usual beachy clothes and lots of "Life is Good" stuff, you know? Honestly, if you’re looking for a fun place to spend an afternoon, it seems like a great place to start.
What I’ve read is that people really seem to dig the staff; it seems like they’re actually helpful, which is a nice surprise. Reviewers constantly call out individuals who went the extra mile, helping them find a perfect kite or gift. Customers are pretty happy with the variety of cool merch, unique gifts and toys, and parents especially rave about the fidget toys. Cleanliness also gets mentioned a lot, it seems like they keep the place tidy and organized. Although nearly every experience is positive, it looks like there have been a few customers who had less-than-perfect experiences. But from what I gather, it's still a super-popular spot that's worth checking out.

#9 Columbia Pike Thrift Shop
www.trinitychurcharlington.org
4101 Columbia Pike, Arlington, VA 22204
Wednesday: [Closed], Thursday: [10 AM-5 PM], Friday: [10 AM-5 PM], Saturday: [9 AM-5 PM], Sunday: [Closed], Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [Closed]
Columbia Pike Thrift Shop is a really cute little spot; it's a consignment shop run by a local church, and it has everything from clothes and glassware to cool, old books. They get donations too, and you'll often find things from estate sales mixed in, which is kinda neat. The prices are totally reasonable, and it’s the type of place you can find something unique if you just browse a bit.
Honestly, what makes it great is the volunteers who work there; they're always so friendly and ready to help you find whatever you're looking for. They're priced pretty fairly if you want to consign your own stuff. Plus, it's nice knowing that the money they're making is going to support the church, you know? Sure, it's small, and someone said the dressing room could be tidier, but I think you can find something for you. I've also heard they take credit cards.

#10 Lane Bryant
5802 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502

Lane Bryant is where it's at if you're searching for plus-size clothing, they have a starting size of 12. Word on the street is that the Norfolk location is the best, especially if you need some retail therapy, since their selection includes jeans, tops, and even activewear from their Livi Active line; not forgetting the Cacique intimates, along with some cute jewelry. TBH, they have buy-one-get-one promotions frequently, so it's a solid spot for a wardrobe refresh if you catch it at the right time.
What I consistently hear from people who shop there is that they're all about the customer service, especially at the Norfolk store. I've read comments that specifically name employees, such as Diamond, Leshond, Mishele, and Kristen, who apparently go above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. Some rave about their bra fittings and how they help finding the best sizes, you know? People appreciate when the store's clean and organized, with a good selection, and the staff actually knows their stuff. It's good to know that shoppers feel heard and comfortable during their time there. Still, it's hard to deny some people will complain about higher prices or maybe long checkout lines. Getting your size to be in stock at the store can be tough sometimes, which will send you straight to ordering online, but overall it seems the positive experiences outshine the negative ones.

#11 Bygones Vintage Clothing

Bygones Vintage Clothing in Richmond looks like a cool spot for folks looking for vintage fashion, which is something I can always appreciate. They seem to carry a range of stuff for everyone, not just clothes either, but accessories, too, from jewelry and hats all the way to even themed postcards. And apparently, they got a masks section and wedding dresses, sounds very unique.
What's really neat about them is that the general consensus is good, a lot of people say the quality is nice and their staff is helpful, which is always a bonus. It's great to find pieces that feel special, and there is something to be said about a well-curated collection of vintage clothes. But some folks do point out that the prices can be a little much, and there was one person who felt unwelcome at one point, but overall it looks like a place with a fun atmosphere and a good selection, especially if you are trying to go for a specific era.

#12 Circle Thrift & Art Space

Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [12-6 PM], Wednesday: [12-6 PM], Thursday: [12-6 PM], Friday: [12-6 PM], Saturday: [12-6 PM], Sunday: [12-6 PM]
Circle Thrift & Art Space in Richmond is, for sure, more than just another clothing store. It's a cool mashup of vintage finds, art, records, and books, really makes it special. What's really nice is how they champion local Richmond artists. Selling their work creates such a positive vibe in the community.
Seriously, people are always talking about how awesome the selection is and the stuff is constantly changing which keeps things interesting. Customers mention finding some seriously unique treasures, for real steals of prices, anything from clothing to electronics. The staff gets a lot of love, too, they're always friendly and super helpful, something that makes the entire shopping experience better. It matters that the shop focuses on Richmond creatives, giving shoppers the chance to buy locally-made items, though some people thought the organization could be better. Overall, Circle Thrift & Art Space is a definite favorite clothing shop in Richmond.

#13 Casual Adventure Outfitters
3451 Washington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201
Wednesday: [9:30 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [9:30 AM-8 PM], Friday: [9:30 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [9:30 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-5 PM], Monday: [9:30 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [9:30 AM-8 PM]
Casual Adventure Outfitters is an Arlington mainstay, apparently the best spot for outdoor clothing; who knew? I've heard they've been around for ages, something like half a century, slinging everything from camping gear to baseball bats, plus a bunch of stuff in between. My friend was saying it's a family business, not some big box store, where you can find that perfect pocket knife, a sturdy tent, socks, and various backpacks, just whatever you need for the great outdoors.
Customers can't say enough about the staff - Eric, John, Izzy, Sam, and Adam were a few names that kept popping up in reviews; they are always willing to find the right gear, so helpful. Some of the reviews, they appreciated that the staff were willing to help return items. Some people commented on competitive pricing and they appreciate the family feel; what's important is that they outfitted customers for camping, hiking, or scouting. One thing I did see floating around is that it can get expensive and initial experiences with staff aren't always the best, though, and the organization is not the greatest.

#14 Mom & Me
1624 Laskin Rd Ste 748B, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [Closed], Monday: [10 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM]
Mom & Me in Virginia Beach seems to be a great spot, it offers a sweet selection of clothes and accessories for both moms and their little ones. You can find maternity wear that's supposed to be super comfy and cute, plus adorable baby clothes. A lot of people mention that it's the perfect place to grab matching outfits for the whole family, which is a fun idea, right? It doesn't stop there either, apparently, they also carry all the essential baby gear you'd need, like strollers, car seats, and even nursery furniture from those higher-end brands such as Nuna and Uppababy. Oh, and if you're searching for baby gifts or some toys, seems it could be a spot to check out.
A lot of customers, judging from reviews, really dig the store's overall vibe; it's described as beautiful, clean and well-organized, also they rave about the quality of what they sell. People often highlight the staff too, noting they are super friendly and knowledgeable, often going the extra mile to help you find what you're looking for. I read some names such as Lisa, Loren, Colleen, and Luisa being mentioned over and over, and it's seems they're great for giving personalized assistance. The reviews said the matching outfits get a big thumbs-up, and the chance to actually test out strollers and car seats in person before buying it, is a real win for a lot of parents. A few reviews have voiced a concern about a strict 7-day exchange-only return policy, which could be a little tricky, especially if you don't live close or can't try stuff on quickly.

#15 VBC | Virginia Book Company

Monday: [9 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [9 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [9 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [9 AM-6 PM], Friday: [9 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-5 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
Virginia Book Company, or VBC, is a super popular spot near VCU, especially for students needing textbooks and VCU gear. Honestly, they're known for having way better prices than places you'd expect, like Barnes & Noble; it's really good value for money. It's kinda a no-brainer for anyone going to VCU. You know how those textbook prices can be criminal?
What people are really saying is it's a friendly place with a great atmosphere. It's usually the staff, who are said to be helpful and the prices, naturally, that get the best feedback. They seem to have some good deals on VCU stuff and textbook rentals; plus, some say their buyback program is way easier to deal with than other stores. It's not always perfect, because someone may have had a hiccup regarding customer service, but overall, people seem to dig the vibe.

Aimaleigh's Boutique in Chesapeake is that spot with all sorts of stuff, ya know? They've got clothes – I hear their Judy Blue jeans are a favorite – plus jewelry, home decor, and cute little gifts. You can shop in the store if you're near, plus they have online stuff and live sales going on. If you're into the whole family-friendly vibe and want to find a store that kinda has something for everybody, Aimaleigh's could be worth checking out I think.
I've been hearing amazing things. People really seem to rave about their customer service, and how quick the shipping is. The owner, Aimee, is talked about being super nice and helpful and genuine. Apparently, she really tries to help people find stuff that actually fits and makes 'em feel good. Reviewers also seem to appreciate it's a family-run business, they have engaging live shows, and you can buy unique stuff. I guess things are carefully packaged and shipped out super fast, and most people feel like they're part of a family in one way or another, I hear some items are shipped less than 8 hours after you bought them! One review, though, thought that the clothing selection wasn't as good as it used to be, and that it took too long to get items bought during the live sales. But hey, you can't please everyone, am I right?

Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [11 AM-5 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-5 PM], Thursday: [11 AM-5 PM], Friday: [11 AM-5 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-5 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
Shockoe Atelier is a Richmond-based shop I've been meaning to check out; I keep hearing it's the spot for high-quality denim. Word on the street is they make seriously good jeans, along with jackets and shirts, and apparently, everything is made super carefully. What’s amazing is they have a lifetime guarantee on repairs, which is pretty cool considering you pay a bit more, that kind of makes it worth it, right?

From what I've heard, the staff is genuinely friendly and knows their denim, which is a plus. That guarantee they offer is a big deal, and customers seem to appreciate getting extra value. Apparently, the production area's a nice thing to see and meeting the people who make the clothes adds a personal touch. Shakoor's Merchandise, located near me in Richmond, sounds really great because I've read that it's got a diverse selection that goes beyond just clothes, they also sell things such as essential oils and Shea butter, which is awesome. Plus, I've heard that they've got a unique variety of African attire and Afrocentric fashion, its like a local cultural hotspot, even.

A lot of people seem to be really happy with the quality of their oils and Shea butter, and the soaps and incense are well-liked, too. I even saw one comment that said they've been going there for fourteen years! Also, I read a review that the customer purchased a $20 Egyptian Musk body oil last year and still has some left; the customer also mentions that they get complimented on how good they smell. It seems that the owners really get to know their customers and the community is one big family.

Richmond's Orvis store has pretty good reviews, if you're looking for some durable and nice-looking clothes. Their fly fishing stuff gets mentioned a lot, plus they sell dog toys and accessories. It kinda sounds up my alley, I could definitely see myself buying something there, and I've heard their clothing is made to last.
It seems like what really sets Orvis apart, though, is the staff. I read that they're super helpful, not pushy, and really know their stuff about fly fishing and local spots. One person mentioned getting a casting lesson right in the parking lot, which is above and beyond in my opinion. Sure, someone complained about prices being high and products coming from overseas, and another one said they have problems with customers not wearing masks. However, it sounds like the service is worth the price, and if you have a problem they will fix it.

Stark & Legum seems like a total gem for menswear in Norfolk, a true local institution. Plenty of people rave about the shop's knack for hitting both polished and more laid-back styles, creating a place that definitely knows how to make a guy look good. Plus, having been around for what sounds like ages, Stark & Legum is where guys go to get that put-together, sophisticated vibe.

Multiple people mention specific employees by name, which is so nice to see, saying they’re super helpful and go the extra mile. It sounds as though that personal touch makes all the difference, that kind of attention builds a solid customer base that sticks around. Sure, some might say it’s a little spendy, but mostly everyone thinks the quality justifies the splurge—totally get that. I did hear that after they moved, the store isn't as big, and that one time they didn't have Dobbs hats, but it sounds as if they usually stock them now.

DTLR in Richmond seems to be a go-to spot for folks wanting trendy athletic and streetwear; a bunch of people say they have a pretty decent selection of clothes, kicks, and accessories, which is nice. Supposedly, they're known for stocking a variety of tennis shoes and carrying brands everyone wants, you know, like Nike, Adidas, and Puma; heard they sometimes have exclusive releases too.
What I'm gathering from online reviews is that their customer service is usually great, most of the time, which is always a plus, right? People mention the staff being friendly and actually knowing their stuff when it comes to fashion. A lot of shoppers seem to appreciate that it's generally quick to get help, and that the place is neat and tidy, adding to the whole shopping thing. From what I've seen, their prices are pretty reasonable and they do discounts somewhat regularly. Now, it seems some folks have had issues getting through on the phone, and finding stuff in stock can be hit or miss; also, a small amount of people felt they weren't treated great by the team. Despite these minor complaints, though, DTLR still appears to be a favorite for lots of people in Richmond, it sounds reasonably popular.

Rue21 in Norfolk seems to have a pretty good range, you know? Supposedly they stock clothes that are both kinda edgy and also wearable, which is a vibe, plus accessories and fragrances, so it's not just clothes. The idea of them stocking simple things but also items with more of a pattern is appealing, as is a range of sizes. A lot of people consider them a good choice for more urban styles.

Saturn Return sounds like an interesting spot; I've heard it's this clothing store in Richmond that is filled with all sorts of things. From what I gather, it's the perfect place if you're into goth clothes, old-school vintage, jewelry, and odd antiques. They also carry things for your home, it's got bath bombs, room sprays, and different collectables people seem to love. It is probably one of those stores that you can always find something new in.
People really seem to appreciate the variety of things at Saturn Return, especially its selection of cool clothing. The store's known for its alternative clothing, shoes, and jewelry, though I guess prices may vary depending on what you're looking at. I do see some reviewers online mentioning Myth, a staff member who's apparently super helpful and friendly, and that’s always a plus in my book. A lot of people have also mentioned how much they enjoy the atmosphere. Some mention the store's lighting is a little dark, but overall most seem to really love the place and it's unique selection.

Hot Topic in Chesapeake is, from what I gather, a cool specialty shop nearby. They seem to stock a pretty impressive range of stuff for people into anime, music, and all those pop culture things. I'm seeing that they sell shirts, skirts, pants and also accessories, you know, like pins and jewelry and backpacks. Sounds like you can always find something if you're into specific fandoms, since they've got things representing anime, BT21, even SpongeBob in addition to concert tees and other random cool novelties. It really gives off a unique shopping experience vibe if you want something alternative, on-trend, etc.
I've read they frequently get a lot of good buzz from shoppers. A bunch of people mention how friendly and helpful the staff is, especially singling out Cheyenne, Jay, Alexa, and Kae, and it seems they give awesome recommendations and really personalize the shopping experience. People seem to appreciate it. Plus, others mention how they have good deals and clearance, and I guess they do these "mystery bags" that sound fun for a good price. A lot of the reviews seem to focus on how much people love their anime selection and just how the entire store feels overall.

DXL Big + Tall in Virginia Beach seems to be *the* spot if you're a guy who needs larger sizes and wants to find clothes that actually look good. They’ve got everything from casual stuff to formal wear, plus shoes and all those other accessories. It's really helpful to have a place that carries a decent range of colors and styles in bigger sizes, because let’s be real, department stores aren’t always the best at that. Prices might be a bit high-ish, but from what I'm reading, you're paying for the quality and the fact that they cater specifically to men who have trouble finding clothes elsewhere.
Seriously, the customer service sounds phenomenal there, people are always mentioning employees like Dimitri, Candace, Prestine, and Austin, which it’s really rare to see that many names dropped in reviews. Apparently, they're super attentive and knowledgeable, plus they give personalized advice, which is awesome. It seems like the staff will go the extra mile to find what you need, whether it's helping with sizes, giving style tips, or even ordering stuff that's not currently in the store and even remembering sizes from a previous customer. Cleanliness and organization of the store also seem to be something regularly noticed. I’ve read a few things about the prices being steep and selection not always being the broadest but honestly, what matters most is that they’re known for making the whole shopping thing worthwhile for big and tall men, because the team there is just that good at what they do.

UPSTREAMERS seems to be a really popular spot around Richmond, especially for anyone hunting for good jeans. From what I've gathered, they carry a huge range of trendy stuff, from urban wear to jackets, which I imagine is why so many young people dig it. I mean, having options is key, right?
People are saying the customer service is on point and that their prices are seriously reasonable for the quality you get. Plus, it sounds similar to they're always stocked with the latest styles. Most folks also mention how helpful and knowledgeable the staff are, which is always a plus. It's great to hear they're back in Chesterfield too because that's convenient. It also seems like the stores are kept pretty clean, too. However, I saw a couple reviews mention experiences that weren't quite as positive so hopefully management addresses it.

Golden Hour Boutique in Virginia Beach seems to be a cool local spot for clothes and accessories. I've heard they've got a really diverse selection, from jewelry and purses to shoes and hats, with a range of styles and sizes that includes plus sizes, and the word on the street says that they showcase merchandise from other local businesses, which is pretty awesome. They definitely are working to support the local community.
What I've been hearing is that people are really into the staff, especially Dana and Jayme. Apparently, they really go out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcome and confident, and that personalized service can really makes all the difference. It sounds like customers are getting a kick out of how helpful they are with putting together outfits, and a lot of reviewers seem to get compliments when they wear something they bought there; which is amazing. Though the reviews are overwhelmingly positive, I read reports on the internet of issues about pricing, a few people weren't satisfied with the service at the nail salon, and some mentioned a lack of attentiveness when you first walk into the store.

If you're hunting for vintage in Richmond, Halcyon Vintage Clothing is definitely a spot to check out; it's got a reputation. From what I've gathered, they seem to have an amazing selection, seriously, a *huge* range spanning different eras. I've heard they have clothes, jewelry, and accessories, for both men and women, plus all the bits and bobs that complete a vintage look. I'm betting the staff know their stuff too, so it is worth going, especially if you are just beginning to explore vintage.
I keep hearing rave reviews about the shop's curated collection and how great the staff are. People are finding dresses and jackets in incredible condition, which is wild. Apparently, guys can find a good selection of vintage jackets and suits too, which is cool, it seems they have made efforts to cater to men. It's been said that some people felt that the store was tight on space and has too much inventory which makes it difficult to shop.

I've heard a lot of great things about BitterSweet, a clothing store in Richmond’s Carytown, and it sounds perfect if you need to find something trendy, timeless, or a bit of both. From what people say, they always seem to have a curated selection of pieces you can't find just anywhere else in RVA, along with accessories and even a few home decor items. You know, if you're trying to pull together an entire *lewk*.
Apparently, the staff are very welcoming, and that goes a long way in my book. It's nice when people are friendly and offer styling advice, especially when you're browsing and not sure what's going to work. Plus, I've read reviews mentioning that it's easy to find staples and showstoppers, which is ideal. While there's always going to be someone who wasn’t entirely satisfied, BitterSweet definitely seems like one of those places worth checking out.

Blue Bones Vintage sounds like a really neat shop based on everything I've read; it's located in Richmond and supposedly has a great selection of vintage clothes plus vinyl records. I've heard it's a haven for anyone who's into thrifting and retro styles. The store carries both men's and women's stuff, along with unexpected finds such as poison rings and, get this, oversized denim jackets, which are totally back in style.
From what other people say, the owner, Lauren, has killer style and offers really helpful customer service; I'm sure she's super busy though. People keep mentioning how well-organized the store is - color-coded merchandising makes it easier to browse, they say. There's talk about their inventory being refreshed frequently, which means it's pretty great to check in often if you can. I've noticed that some people have mentioned issues with their hours not being totally accurate, and the prices maybe a little much, but that's kinda how vintage shops can be sometimes.

Scrub Pro Uniforms & Gallo Clothing in Norfolk is a good place to look if you need scrubs, chef uniforms, jewelry, or just some new clothes. They have a decent selection of work attire and shoes, even for us who need plus sizes – which, let's be honest, is a godsend. Finding a good uniform shop can feel impossible; it's nice knowing this store exists.
Seriously, people rave about how friendly the staff is, particularly Dominique and Evonne, who seem to be killing it as managers. You know how important good customer service is. I heard they have tons of scrub colors and sizes, plus discounts for Sentara employees are given, which is awesome. Some people have even said the scrubs they bought years ago still look brand new, so that means something, right? A few people mentioned wanting clearer phone communication, especially if they have a specific item in mind. Plus, more options for the guys wouldn't hurt either, I'd imagine, as some men's clothing is limited.

Virginia Beach Harley-Davidson is more than just a shop. Located in Virginia Beach, it sells Harley-Davidson merch, souvenirs, and some pretty unique stuff that aren't motorcycles themselves, you know? They've got a good selection of tees, hoodies, patches, and all sorts of things a Harley fan would be into. If you're looking to show off your love for the brand, this place could be your go-to for apparel.
Honestly, people seem to rave about the staff. Reviewers often mention the workers were super friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist you in finding what you needed. A lot of the positive comments are about their excellent customer service skills. The store is also kept really clean and organized and they have a great selection of shirts too, especially back designs, which seem to be a big hit. Also, many customers commented on the military tribute designs that were made in the USA. Fair warning, though: a few people felt the prices were a little high, which is to be expected with Harley gear, and a couple of folks felt a tad pressured to buy something as well. Parking might also be a bit tricky.

There are some comments about color limitations and, like, one or two print mistakes, but overall, the reviews seem overwhelmingly positive and that it's the best place in Richmond if you're getting anything custom made. Oh and btw, they have staff like Ginger and Matthew, I can see why it might have been a good experience since some people raved about how attractive and intelligent they are, but it is what it is, right?

What's also nice to know is that they offer a broad range of sizes, making it easier to find something that actually fits, but you might want to double check the store hours, as some found them inconsistent. Old Navy in Chesapeake carries, you know, clothes for everyone: women, men, kids, even the hard-to-fit sizes. Typically you can find jeans, tees, dresses, the whole shebang, plus they're always running some kind of sale which is good, cause who wants to pay full price for basics? Some folks seem to think the place is a disaster area when it comes to organization, but plenty of people call it the "best clothing store in Chesapeake," so it kinda evens out.
A lot of shoppers compliment the employees, which is honestly nice to hear, because you hear about bad customer service everywhere. Special shoutout’s go out to Crystal, Heather, Nayke, Breshai, Brittany, Julia, Jayla, Jackson, Sarah, and Jade for being extra helpful, which can really make or break a shopping trip, wouldn’t you agree? Seems like they're aiming to be a go-to destination for full-figured women who are trying to find unique clothes that help them look their best.
I've heard great things consistently about their customer service, specifically how the employees are friendly and actually helpful, which is a welcome change. People seem to like that the store's laid out well, plus it is kept clean, and the variety of clothes seems to be a big draw. Loads of reviewers dig their sales and the unique styles they offer. Coastal Edge Greenbrier, or Harygul's Halloween Planet whatever you wanna call it, is this big retail spot in Chesapeake. You can find a decent range of things there: clothes that are pretty casual, some surf brands, and shoes, of course, plus hats and a bunch of accessories. Then there's all the Halloween stuff, so costumes, decorations, and those creepy animatronics; I think they source items from other places too.
Seriously, so many people compliment the staff there; Denise gets a lot of love and the feedback suggests Crystal, Quinn, Alyssa, Ciara, Julia, Jahiada, J. May, Maddie, and Jelena seem to know their stuff and go the extra mile to find you what you need. A good amount of people go for the Halloween selection, and you hear about people scoring deals and unique items, though one or two people had issue with advertising inconsistencies that were inaccurate, plus pricing, and then some felt the shop was lacking in acknowledgement of its customers, if that makes sense.

Upscale Men's Fashion really does have the kinda stuff a guy needs when it comes to clothing in Norfolk. They're a go-to if you are looking for quality suits, blazers, shirts, shoes – you name it and I bet they have it. I get the impression that they have all kinds of stuff for basically any event. From what I hear, it's got this impressive array of both formal and casual styles, so you aren't limited to just one look. There's supposed to be conservative career suits, as well as some pretty fashion-forward things, and the fact they offer tailoring/alterations is a huge plus for getting that perfect fit. Seems like a great store if you want a one-stop shopping experience and they can make it easy to find your style.
I keep hearing from people how awesome their customer service is too and that definitely goes a long way these days. Seems their staff really knows their stuff, like, they can give you solid styling advice that's personalized, which is always cool. People mention Moe, Shane, Amir, and Tracy specifically, that those guys are super helpful. The quick service for last-minute alterations is a lifesaver, especially when you're in a pinch. Plus, it's apparently all about the details over there; that staff knows how to find the right fit and even suggest coordinating accessories. I heard some people mention the prices can be a little on the high side, and the online inventory sometimes doesn't quite match what's in the store, but overall, people seem to be satisfied with their purchases.

It's definitely a place to check out if you want a more individual fashion sense, and not look like everyone else.
From what people are saying, The Phoenix is known for outstanding customer service, and the staff seems pretty awesome for those of us who feel lost when shopping. They provide a personalized experience and are great at figuring out what looks good on you. Plus, many people mention how long their purchases have lasted, indicating the quality is really there. Hibbett Sports in Norfolk, from what I gather, seems to be a hybrid spot, selling both athletic gear and trendy streetwear, it's definitely not strictly a sports-only type of place. Plenty of people have mentioned they've found some pretty unique stuff there, which can be a major win, plus you can enter raffles and snag stuff for all kinds of sports. For folks on the hunt for cool athletic clothes in Norfolk, it just could be worth a peek.
A lot of customers have raved about the employees at this Hibbett Sports, especially mentioning Terrance, Erica, and Sherry by name, always going above and beyond is what people say. There's something to be said about having staff who genuinely care and are super helpful, finding the right size can be a challenge. The place itself is clean, which is a huge plus, and the raffles are apparently easy to get in on. Although there are some complaints about not answering their phone and sometimes inconsistent sizing, there is also negative feedback on employees being unhelpful and closing early.

Ann Taylor in Arlington has a good range of clothes; really pretty, feminine stuff perfect if you want to look put-together at work or even for a nice weekend brunch. They definitely cater to the working woman, offering pieces that work for the office but aren't stuffy for an evening out. You can build whole outfits there too with their accessories, and the store is usually pretty well-organized and clean, which is always a plus.
It's hard to beat how nice the staff are, there's even been customers who specifically name associates who've gone above and beyond; I like when store associates know sign language. You can almost always find something classy without being too flashy, and the prices are definitely on the higher end. But, you know, they have sales sometimes that make it worth popping in. Though there are negative reviews citing isolated incidents with management, most people seem to have pretty good experiences.

Lowenthal Outerwear Boutique in Virginia Beach has quite the selection. From mink coats to fox furs, and even items with fur trim, you're bound to find something striking. They seem to really focus on fur care too, offering storage options – which is essential around here, cleaning services and repairs, which means you might have a good option if you are looking for places to store your furs for the summer.
People have said some amazing things about Lowenthal's customer service, and that's a big deal. Lots of reviewers single out employees, naming Hugh and owners Norman and Mr. Vaughn specifically, saying how helpful they were. People really appreciate the personalized attention they get, it seems, which is nice, right? Plus, the quality of the furs gets high marks, as do their cleaning and storage. Though, I have heard there was some problems with altering furs, a customer felt judged by appearances and there were rumors of item thefts, so you know. I hope I don't encounter those same problems if I do end up going.

Dillard's at Greenbrier Mall in Chesapeake generally has a really solid range of stuff, but especially when it comes to clothes. They carry apparel for women, men, and kids; encompassing everything from dressy outfits to everyday wear, along with a good selection of shoes. You can find cosmetics, jewelry, purses and home goods are readily available too. If someone in the area is trying to find a clothing store that gives a few choices, Dillard's is probably worth a look.
Customers often mention how helpful the staff are, especially the people who work in menswear – I think someone mentioned Chris? And the bra-fitting folks! Apparently, Sydney is amazing with that, and the store is usually nicely put together and very clean and the clothing is pretty good quality especially when they're having a sale. I’ve also heard good things about the dress selection, also big and tall sections for men. Though, prices can be higher when there isn't a sale happening, and also it sounds as if customer service may be spotty in cosmetics at times, as some claim they've been flat-out ignored.

Their selection apparently includes everything from maxi dresses to jeans, plus the usual intimates and accessories, and people seem to think they are pretty fashionable. It sounds like there are some great deals going on too, which is always a win-win in my book.
What I am gathering from reading other reviews are things are usually pleasant when you walk through the door, and that the staff are super friendly and helpful, which goes a long way. It's awesome knowing they cater to plus-size women, and there are tons of people loving their jeans and maxi dresses. However, there have been a couple of complaints about the quality of the bras and panties, and that some folks have felt a little watched when they're browsing. Still, overall, the good definitely seems to outweigh any bad experiences people have had.

Cleanliness is an important thing when I visit a store. It's a big draw when people mention the store is clean and organized too, makes for a more efficient shopping trip! Plus, it seems Rainbow is always having some kind of sale, so you could always find something at a low price. REI in Virginia Beach isn't just another sports store; they actually have great stuff for getting outside. Though it's not really a "clothing store," it does carry clothes, shoes, and all that stuff for camping, hiking, or kayaking. It's mostly good for finding all sorts of gear, and the membership perks are a bonus, though I heard that some people had issues with the mask rules. Also, they do repairs and classes, so there's always something going on.
What I've noticed is people consistently rave about the team there; a lot of reviewers go as far as dropping names of staff who gave extra assistance. From fitting hiking boots to tweaking bikes, the people working there are super helpful, according to online reviews. A clean store plus a wide product selection is a total win, not to mention the return policy is so generous. I’ve read that REI's co-op membership is legit; you get dividends and special offers for being a member. I did see a few complaints about service inconsistencies and their new dog policy, but honestly, the positive experiences seem to outweigh the negative ones, and they help with finding the right size training wheels.

Their aim is to be the ultimate bargain destination but do keep in mind that since it is a treasure hunt, finding that *one* specific thing you need may require a little digging, plus, there's a men's section, too.
It seems folks really dig this particular Marshalls, especially that new Greenbrier spot – I keep hearing it's super organized and clean, which is definitely a plus in my book. People love the thrill of finding designer dresses or unexpected finds at ridiculously low prices, and the staff usually gets props for being friendly and helpful; not enough can be said for friendly and helpful staff when dealing with clothes shopping. Though, just a heads up, some shoppers have mentioned that the stock can be a bit inconsistent, and plus-size options aren't always abundant. People online talk about how cute Worth The Wait is, and how well-organized the shop is; seriously, it's a big deal if a resale place feels clean. There are so many comments about how helpful the employees are, too; shout out to Tammy and Monica for helping people find exactly what they were looking for. SKECHERS Factory Outlet in Norfolk offers shoes for everyone, which is great. What I hear is they've got a decent range of Skechers sneakers and sandals. I've seen people mention the memory foam options which sounds perfect if your on your feet all day. It's been suggested that the prices aren't always crazy discounted though, so maybe compare before you commit because, well, money. If you're in Norfolk and need comfy footwear, this place seems to be worth checking out, and there’s a chance you’ll find just what you’re looking for, size permitting.
The consensus is that the staff has been helpful, particularly Kimberley, with some customers even shouting out specific employees for going the extra mile. Folks also seem to appreciate that the store is clean and organized; that makes such a huge difference when trying to find the right shoe. Apparently, sometimes they run specials, such as buy-one-get-one-half-off, so keep an eye out. One thing I saw mentioned is that the selection for ladies above size 9 and men running on the smaller side of the spectrum may be limited, hopefully that gets addressed soon.

T.J. Maxx in Norfolk has such a wide array of stuff. You can find clothing, shoes, plus home goods, jewelry, even goodies for your pets. It's pretty awesome finding designer brands with a price that doesn't make your wallet cry, i think its well stocked. I noticed that this TJ Maxx does have some hits and misses. It's not the biggest one around, and the stock in some areas, especially mens, they could use a little more love.
People are really into the bargain hunt there, especially when they find those name-brand clothing items nobody else has. I see positive comments about the staff, some people calling out employees by name, Ms. Clarice and Jenny. One commenter really loved finding a Naruto noodle bowl, how cute is that! Citi Trends in Richmond is a lifesaver, honestly. The Columbia Factory Store in Norfolk is a solid spot to snag outdoor gear. They carry a ton of stuff for pretty much everyone – men, women, and kids – and it's not just clothes; think jackets, shirts, all that jazz. Honestly, I've heard the prices are pretty good.
People seem to rave about the sales, especially the military discount and those extra discounts they throw in sometimes. The staff apparently are usually super helpful, which is nice, I hate it when they don't pay attention to you. Finding sizes can be difficult though, and I've seen some reviews about the sizes being inconsistent and not a lot of variety. The limited edition merch is awesome, as well as the tidy environment and the great customer service they're known for.

Under Armour Factory House in Norfolk is basically an outlet store, all about athletic gear. You can find a huge range of stuff there, from sportswear to golf clothes, and even some casual pieces for men, women, and kids. They generally sell stuff from past seasons, or maybe items with minor imperfections, and it's at prices that are supposed to be marked down. It makes sense if you're trying to snag some UA stuff on a budget.
Word on the street is the staff at this location is super helpful. Seriously, people call out employees by name, like Dom, Destiny, Melissa, Dimond, Alicia, and Jacob, and they rave about Liz, who seems to be a manager. I am not a fan of people checking me out when I am shopping, yet it's good customer service from what people write. Plus, they usually have some pretty good sales, and I heard they do a military discount. The reviews also say the store's well-stocked, pretty clean, and a generally good place to shop even if the women’s shoe selection could be better.

You can usually find some good deals, since they're always running some sort of sale. It's great, because you really can find some cute tops and everyday basics without totally breaking the bank. I think they aim to be trendy without emptying your wallet, but I've heard some people find that the clothing selection for men or women is lacking.
The reviews are generally positive, with customers noting the friendly staff and clean, organized store layout. Apparently, it's super easy to find something you that works for your wardrobe. Plus, people definitely seem to appreciate the return policy; they're pretty flexible. Customer service is typically good, but I've heard of instances where some people have some issues with unhelpful cashiers or problems processing returns.

Citi Trends down in Chesapeake is a pretty decent option if you're hunting for affordable clothes; they carry a surprisingly large collection of styles for everyone in the family. I've seen folks online mention they sometimes have name-brand stuff. Plus, it sounds like they're good about carrying a pretty wide range of sizes which you don't always get these days. I understand that a lot of customers talk about the prices being right, and how they always have some kind of sale going on. I'm always looking for a bargain.
People are saying great things in the reviews I read. Some are calling it the "best clothing store in Chesapeake", which is quite the claim. It sounds as if many appreciate the staff's friendliness, and particularly a Mrs. Zolita, who seemingly provides super helpful service. The layaway option is a big draw for those on a tighter budget too. While most people seem happy, I did read some reviews noting that customer service can be a little hit or miss, and that occasionally their stock can be low. That said, the good reviews focused on the range of clothing, shoes, accessories, and the fact that they update their stock pretty regularly.

They've got everything from graphic tees to sweaters, even shoes and accessories, and I hear they actually have a decent plus-size section, which is definitely a plus in my book. It might just be the kind of place to pop in when you need a quick wardrobe refresh.
People seem to enjoy how they have a lot of selection, the prices being generally reasonable, and finding some unique styles; there’s even mushroom-themed stuff that some people really dig, or so I’ve heard. Plus, a lot of reviewers pointed out having had amazing encounters with employees, especially someone named Jada and a manager named Nayellie, who really went above and beyond to assist shoppers, but just make sure not to get overwhelmed by the colognes they may push, though!

K&G Fashion Superstore in Richmond gets a lot of buzz for their selection; I've heard they basically cover the whole family when it comes to clothing. You know, men's suits, women's wear, plus stuff for kids - basically, anyone prepping for like, weddings or whatever. And the thing is, I'm told they aren't just about formal wear, either; they stock casual outfits and shoes as well. Receiving text alerts for discounts, it definitely makes it seems like a solid, all-in-one option.
What people seem to appreciate is the prices versus what you get; some reviewers raving about finding great deals, especially on suits. Many also mention the staff being extra helpful, especially Mike in the men's section who knows his stuff - guiding shoppers to find just what they need. The positive reviews outweigh the negative ones. However, a few people have complained about customer service being inconsistent; while some rave about the helpful staff, others had less than stellar experiences - some folks saying things are disorganized, or that it's hard to find someone when you need help.

Walking around Virginia Beach, you'll notice Sunsations pretty quickly; it's that shop overflowing with beachy stuff. They practically have it all - every kind of souvenir imaginable, plus beach gear that you might have forgotten to pack. I hear their prices on t-shirts and tank tops are actually the lowest in the area, which is great if you want to grab something that says "Virginia Beach" on it. It looks like they have friendly staff and quite a lot of deals, especially during off-season. It seems like they have all the essentials, even if you forgot something at home.
Honestly, from what I've read, it's a pretty good place to snag souvenirs. Returning tourists seem to love their coupon books. Plus, multiple people have mentioned the staff being super helpful, which always makes a shopping trip more enjoyable. I've also read that they sell sunglasses at fair prices. Clothes, tech, and even pampering at spas and salons are there, making it super easy to knock out a whole bunch of errands. It's so easy to access that it has everything you need.
It's a popular place, most people who go there seem to think it's awesome, especially since there are live music events during the summer which, let's be honest, makes everything better. One big plus that you might not know, many people love that it's super clean, I think that's a big deal. They do have a lot of parking, however, people do say its really bad during peak hours. I heard that some restaurants use a pinch too much salt, but overall people do like it.

Apparently, there is options to find everything from hats and ties to jewelry and even some on-site tailors to help adjust the garments, which is good because who actually fits perfectly into clothes right off the rack?
What I keep hearing is that folks love K&G because the prices are pretty decent and they have a ton of stuff to choose from. Some people have even called out specific employees, Sherman, Micaiah, and Miss Roxanne for example, for being super helpful, which is always a bonus when you're trying to find the perfect outfit for something. Talbots in Virginia Beach has a reputation for its classic clothing, offering a range of sizes; which is great, because finding clothes that actually fit properly can be such a pain. It's known for having different cuts within sizes too, that way it ensures a better fit for diverse body types. Many people find the clothes to be really good quality, I guess the downside is some feel the styles are a bit dated, and you know, maybe they're charging a bit too much for what you get. If you're after a timeless, classic style that will last a long time, it could be worth checking out.
People constantly compliment the staff at that location; being friendly and helpful goes a long way, and some mention specific employees who provided truly exceptional service. The quality of the clothing is also often mentioned, and the clothes fits true to size, that's always a huge plus and they're built to last. The online ordering system seems to be a major hit too; quick delivery, and communication is key, you know? Style Encore in Chesapeake is this consignment shop that gets a lot of buzz. Word on the street is they have a pretty good selection of pre-owned clothes, shoes, handbags, plus other things for women and men, too. What I hear most often is that it's well-organized, which, lets be honest, is half the battle with these types of stores. They supposedly get new items frequently, which is cool if you're into keeping up with whatever’s trending these days.
Customers are always talking about the awesome staff. Apparently, Aida, Nat, and Savannah are standouts, I've heard folks mention, and they make you feel welcome. People seem to really appreciate that they help with styling, and that they put thank you notes in their packages. There are definitely other opinions out there too. Some people weren't happy, talking about feeling judged or that the process of selling was unclear.

The real draw is probably that the inventory is always rotating; so you never know what you might find there.
Word is, this place is actually pretty well kept, with things organized and the staff being nice; I've read some people even rave about the managers and cashiers specifically. Wednesday is the day to go, apparently, since clothes are half off plus they hook up military folks with discounts, but of course, they don't do refunds or returns, so be aware. I mean, I've come across some complaints too, things about rude staff or sometimes you'll encounter a price inconsistency.

I've heard the customer service is often on point and people notice the cleanliness. You know, some have said this particular location is their absolute favorite for picking up groceries? Apparently, the staff is usually friendly, and they're pretty good at keeping shelves stocked. James, someone working in electronics, even got a shout out for being super helpful finding a TV. JCPenney's Chesapeake spot is your typical department store, right? I think of it as having a bunch of different stuff, you know, clothes for everyone in the fam, plus shoes, some jewelry, and all those home things, maybe even some holiday decorations. Oh, and they definitely carry brands I've heard of; Stafford, Levi's, Arizona, but are Worthington still popular? And it's even got a Sephora inside and a portrait studio if you want some new snaps, but good luck getting an appointment. They always have sales going on, and for some people, it's their favorite place in Chesapeake to get a decent deal.
What's cool is, if you talk to people, they usually rave about the staff actually being really nice, especially the ones that are named. So, maybe it's worth it just for that, and they do seem to have a pretty big selection, which is awesome if you need plus sizes or big and tall. Also, the fact that they are pretty organized when you are there is always a plus. Even having the Sephora, its a real time-saver, too. But, sometimes, you'll get stuck waiting in long lines for forever when the staff are running around trying to do everything, and you see an escalator out of order, and you might even run into a pushy sales person trying to sell you on a store credit card, which isn't my favorite thing to deal with. I have even heard people complain about it being way too hot and saying the clothes aren't trendy.

Sport Fair is a swim shop located in Arlington, and from what I can gather, they’ve got a pretty solid reputation in the community. It sounds I'm a bit thirsty, but they have everything from your basic goggles and recreational swimwear to more serious stuff for competitive swimmers and divers. Word on the street, they stock all the big brands, such as Speedo, Arena, and Nike, plus they apparently do team logo gear, but it is not always available. It’s good to know there's a place to get everything you need. Also, they carry training equipment and often have items on clearance.
People seem to really appreciate the service at Sport Fair, and a lot of people have said that the staff really knows their stuff, especially when it comes to helping customers find the right fit for competition gear. They are super helpful without being overbearing. Multiple customers describe it as a "local treasure," which is a cool sentiment these days, and appreciate not having to deal with the faceless void of online shopping and get to support a local business. That being said, I have seen some reviews saying that prices are a bit on the higher side and some mention poor customer service, but those seem to be the exception rather than the rule.

Macy's in Richmond is pretty great if you're searching for just about anything, I swear, they have clothes, shoes, but the jewelry is really pretty and the Clinique ladies are always so nice. You can get almost anything there. It's nice how easy it is, too, with the super fast shipping, or you can just pick it up yourself from the store. Ross in Chesapeake, it's close by. I heard that the prices there are totally affordable, and I saw a bunch of stuff online that they sell--clothes for anyone, shoes, things for your place, jewelry, and even snacks apparently. It's almost as if you're digging for hidden gems; you might find brands you actually recognize for way less than you would normally find them! The idea of finding a random, perfect item is strangely compelling.
Seriously, the best thing I've heard? People find legitimately amazing deals, especially when it comes to name brands, and who doesn't love scoring designer goods at a discount, am I right? Some say the store is the only one where you can go and find cool stuff at prices that won't hurt your bank balance. Friendly employees and organized layouts also get a shout-out. I heard some people complain about lines or messy displays, and a few mentioned being watched by staff; I will hope that those issues are not common.

Old Navy in Richmond is a popular spot, because they usually have decent deals and current styles for basically everyone. It's a place you can count on finding graphic tees, I always see pretty cute jackets there, and of course, the khaki situation is always solid; plus, they actually carry a good range of plus sizes, which, honestly, you don't see everywhere still!
People tend to appreciate that Old Navy is well-stocked and reasonably priced, which is always a win, you know? I hear they've got a pretty wide variety of options, from work outfits to comfy weekend stuff, to even something for your baby niece, they got something for everyone. You'll always find great music and friendly staff that can match online discounts for additional savings. I've heard some folks say they wish it was more organized though, and its hard to find particular sizes and long lines.

LOFT is definitely a place where you can find some cute stuff, especially if you need something that's not, you know, athleisure. They've got a really great variety of clothes, ranging from basics you can wear to work or just for running errands all the way to dressier items for date nights or events. Plus, I hear the Richmond location often has sales. It can be really tempting to pick up a few things when they have good deals going on.
Generally, people seem to have pretty positive experiences there, especially when it comes to the customer service, even though some locations might be better than others. I mean, there's always that one cashier that seems kinda checked out, right? Mostly, though, people comment on how helpful the staff is, how the return process is super easy when something doesn't work out, and how they always know their stuff when you're trying to put an outfit together. Hearing stories about employees going above and beyond, really makes a good impression.

The BOSS Store in Arlington seems to be a go-to spot for guys looking to refresh their wardrobes, particularly if they're into Hugo Boss. It looks like they have a pretty decent selection of stuff, from your classic suits and dress shirts to casual jeans and tees, plus shoes! Word on the street is they specialize in all those Hugo Boss styles—classic, conservative, and even some lounge wear, which is nice. Finding clothes that fit well is honestly such a pain, but thankfully, they apparently offer alterations to get that perfect fit.
People seem to have generally positive experience with the store. Customers are saying they have amazing service, mentioning certain employees by name, like Marty, Alex, Jacob, and Karen the manager; all really helpful and attentive, some really going above and beyond with sizes and finding items. It's cool to hear they treat customers with respect and make the alteration process convenient. Though, you know, there’s always going to be a couple of sour grapes, but at least for the most part it sounds like a pretty solid place to shop if you're looking for menswear in Arlington.

T.J. Maxx in Arlington is one of those stores where you can find, basically, anything. Clothes are a given, but they also stock shoes, accessories, some cute home decor, beauty products, and random gourmet food. Now, I've noticed that the Arlington spot isn't huge compared to others, but that actually makes it kind of fun, right? It's less overwhelming and it feels more like a treasure hunt, plus the prices are pretty good for the brands they carry. If you're in the mood for some retail therapy and want something different, that store is an option.
People seem to really dig that T.J. Maxx; at least they are more positive than negative. A lot of reviews mention how surprisingly organized and clean it is, and how nice the staff are, especially Yvette and Lashawn. From what I gather, their inventory is pretty diverse, too. Customers mentioned a ton of clothing options, beauty stuff, home goods, the usual, along with some good deals. A few people have said the selection is more unique than at other locations, and it’s easy to get to. Okay, but the men's section is apparently sad and some shoppers found it's a little tight on space. Also, be prepared to wait, especially when it's busy.

Macy's is that big department store in Pentagon City, you know, the one with everything. It's a good spot if you're needing clothes, accessories, stuff for your house or even appliances. They've got sales, too, plus a Backstage area, which I am a sucker for a bargain. Sometimes you can find some good deals but its often too crowded.
Honestly, people seem to really dig the variety of brands and products, particularly anything that's marked down. I see people talk about how great the customer service is, especially when some employees really went above and beyond. The location is really convenient too, because it's right in the mall, and there's a Metro stop right there, and who doesn't appreciate that less-crowded Starbucks inside?

Nordstrom Rack at Pentagon Centre seems like it could be worth a look, especially if you're looking for something specific to complete your wardrobe. You can find a pretty diverse range of stuff, from clothes and shoes to beauty products and some home things. What's in stock really changes things; you never know if you'll find that one really good deal.
Lots of people seem to love the prices, and finding designer brands marked down is a definitely a plus. Plus, they said that it's usually pretty organized, and some of the staff are super helpful, especially when it comes to tailoring. Some other people, though, have had problems with the service; it sounds a little hit or miss, and I heard it's hard to find somewhere to pee. However, what's important is that they are fully stocked and you can find good brands for an affordable price!

Rainbow Shops is apparently a pretty popular spot for clothes, especially if you're trying to keep things budget-friendly. It's got a reputation for carrying a decent selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories, which is convenient when you need a whole outfit, fast. Plus, they seem to keep up with current trends, which is always a bonus, particularly if you're after something new.
From what I've heard, Rainbow gets a lot of love for its affordable prices, plus they have sales pretty often, that's always a win. Some people have mentioned that the staff is super friendly, with some employees being particularly helpful - shout out to Mila and Nina!. Organizing the layout might need a little improvement though, and I know I am not the only one who hates bad customer service. But you get what you pay for and for the pricepoint and range of items, it is still a good place to get trending items.

Victoria's Secret & PINK in Chesapeake has pretty much got you covered if you need anything from a comfy bra to the perfect perfume. And, yep, they also stock pajamas and workout gear along with the usual lotions and even some stuff for the younger crowd. I think, I see some guys in there every once in a while looking for gifts, so I guess it's technically for everyone?
It seems that people frequently rave about the staff there, there's Kiarra, Star, Bre, Justina, Kalayah, Ivy, Nelson, Alisha, Colleen, Marquetta, and Monique—apparently, they're total rockstars when it comes to helping folks find the right fit and making the whole shopping thing feel less stressful. I hear that they're great at measuring you properly, assisting with returns, and generally being super approachable, they keep the place relatively tidy too, and who doesn't love a good sale, right? It is worth knowing that I did hear of some people commenting on long lines sometimes, limited inventory on certain things, also maybe the quality on the underwear isn't always on point.

But then you turn a corner and, bam, there's home decor staring you right in the face. They got kitchen stuff, sometimes even fancy food items, and those beauty products that are always super tempting. You can usually find designer labels mixed in with everything else and the deals are usually really good.
People do rave about the discounts you can find, especially on name-brand stuff. It’s really all about the variety of stuff. You know? You wander around and find something totally unexpected. Apparently some of the employees are super sweet, too - I've seen reviews where customers have named certain staff members because they had such a great attitude and were really helpful. I've heard that some shoppers appreciate that the place is clean and organized which isn't always a guarantee.

The Clothes Rack in Richmond? Total gem. It's this spot near me that has crazy good deals on, honestly, surprisingly upscale clothes. Plus, it's cool because they give back to the Junior League of Richmond, and that organization helps out so many local charities. You can find literally everything there, name brands, kids' clothes, even stuff for your house, holiday decorations, you name it.
People really dig it because it's super organized and the prices are amazing for the quality, I think. Everyone raves about how clean it is and that the staff are pretty nice, though I've heard stories, and I like that it supports charities. Some people say it's almost as good as shopping at Nordstrom, you know, if you're into that whole high-end thing; their rewards program doesn't hurt either, you know. Guess you can't please everyone as some reviewers have had issues with customer service or think prices have gone up recently, however, it's still a Richmond fave.

Nordstrom at Pentagon City in Arlington is a department store that offers, well, a lot of things, including clothing, shoes, accessories, and cosmetics for pretty much everyone. I think of them more as a luxury retailer, but they carry both designer brands that make you wanna cry because they're so expensive and stuff that is easier on the wallet. Occasionally, you can even catch a sale, which is always a good thing! They do offer alterations, and I think they have personal stylists if that's your jam. There's a cafe too, so you can grab a bite while you shop.
Honestly, what I hear over and over is how amazing their customer service is. I mean, people rave about the staff, saying they're super attentive and actually know their stuff, plus they're willing to really go the extra mile. Some folks even name-drop specific employees: Jason, Cynthia, Love, Samantha, Angela, and Sara. It's a nice layout from what I understand, and the selection of stuff is pretty solid, from what everyone says. And those little extras, things such as parking validation and that café, those don't hurt! Though, I’ve heard grumbling here and there about service not always being consistent, and finding exactly what you’re looking for in women's clothing, can be a hassle because it's sparce. Some also mentioned that they had to wait awhile, and, prices can be high - sometimes without even a price tag.

Rainbow Shops is this store in Norfolk that's got basically everything – clothes, shoes, accessories, the whole shebang. I think it's meant to be a "clothing store near me in Norfolk," though it definitely leans toward a younger crowd. Some of us older gals can totally find hidden gems, though. The prices are great and they have a pretty solid selection, I bet that's why people go there looking for trendy, cheap outfits.
Honestly, a lot of people seem to have pretty good experiences. Plenty of customers mention loving the prices and selection; others seem to be able to find the cutest dresses, shoes, and accessories that help them pull together looks super quickly. I've even read a few reviews where people had awesome interactions with the staff, which is always a plus. Still, I've seen some people complain about bad service, a messy store, and it being super hot inside. Someone was frustrated with the returns, and some people have been rude to other customers, so it's really a mixed bag.

Target in Richmond seems to be a pretty convenient spot for people, generally speaking. I hear it's got a decent selection, from clothes and home stuff to electronics and even a small grocery section, which is cool. Plus, the fact that they do pre-orders and pickups is always a plus for anyone short on time, which, let's be real, is most of us these days. It has also heard that the app is super helpful for finding things and making quick self-service trips, which sounds convenient too.
What I've gathered from the reviews are generally quite positive. Customers especially seem to appreciate when the staff is friendly and efficient, particularly those in the electronics area. The store offers weekly sales and a Red Dot card. It's a pretty clean store. What is a little concerning, though, are some of the comments about customer service issues, with a few people mentioning staff being unprofessional or self-checkout lanes being closed too often, but hopefully those are just isolated incidents and not necessarily the norm.

The Full Cup in Virginia Beach seems to be a bra-fitting haven, from what I can gather. They really hone in on making sure women, no matter their size, get that perfect bra fit. It's definitely not just a grab-and-go situation; you need an appointment because they're all about giving you that one-on-one attention. They have a wide range of products like bras, swimsuits, and panties, but seem to carry specific styles that are difficult to find in other stores.
Customers rave about how awesome the customer service is; a lot of people mention the personalized care from the staff. Apparently, a lot of women have been wearing the wrong size bra for years, and the team is really great at educating them on proper fit, which is so important. I've heard they are patient and helpful. The biggest draw seems to be their ability to find solutions for those tricky, uncommon sizes. I did also hear about some customers having issues with delays and communication, but a lot of reviews I read praised their friendly and knowledgeable staff and quality products.

Target in Virginia Beach provides a pretty broad selection, you know, clothes, home stuff, electronics, all the usual. They also sell groceries and personal care, which I appreciate when I'm trying to get all my errands done at once, and I think the prices are generally pretty decent, too. Some locations even have a Starbucks, although I'm not certain if *this* location does... I guess I could Google it? Currently the store is in the process of being renovated, which has been ongoing for a while, I think, but this does not deter a lot of products on sale.
Honestly, most of the reviews I've seen are quite good with the staff being friendly, and how clean and organized the store is and they really can be helpful. People mention how easy it is to pick up online orders or how employees really go out of there way to help you find what you need in the electronics section. Plus, everyone seems to love using the Target Circle discounts, me included. Even though it's mostly positive, there have been a few complaints. Sometimes, checkout lines are super long, especially during the holidays or tourist season, and there can be disorganization.

Banana Republic in Arlington has always struck me as a decent option if you're in the market for clothes that're both classic and suitable for work. They stock your basics, I imagine: chinos, shirts, jeans, and those soft cashmere sweaters everyone seems to adore. The visual presentation is important. The store aims to keep things organized, which makes the shopping experience much nicer, right? Folks who want quality and style, and consider Banana Republic to be an option for everyday wear, travel, or building a professional wardrobe.
It's nice hearing that many customers have experienced helpful and friendly staff, a major plus is when employees offer honest feedback. Some reviews point out certain employees who went above and beyond, assisting with finding things, or checking stock at other locations, you know, that extra mile that's always appreciated. Plus, it's reassuring to hear that the clothing quality and cleanliness of the store are typically highlighted as positives. People seem to rave about the low prices, the thrill of finding a total steal, and how much selection they have; customers also appreciate the staff, with some mentioning how friendly they were when checking out and loss prevention, which is nice since it's rare these days. But I've heard a few people say that it can get a bit disorganized, and the stock isn’t always consistent; the shoe selection gets some love, which is important cause shoes can be expensive. Kidtique, it's a consignment shop slash retail spot, seems to be the place in Norfolk for baby clothes, kids' stuff, and maternity wear. From what I've heard, they've got a decent selection, gently used, new, all at prices that, well, are pretty sweet; sounds great honestly, especially if you are on a budget. Plus, they buy stuff back too, which is genius if you're trying to clean out your kids' closets and maybe fund a little shopping spree; that way is good!
Loads of people rave about the prices – particularly on the name-brand stuff and all the equipment you need when you're starting out. They do got some good stuff I will be honest! Also, I've read that the stores kept up pretty well, are organized, and the staff are mostly super helpful, particularly employees named Amariah, April, Hannah, Vanessa, and Kaitlynn, whom are praised for their knowledge and going above and beyond. Although, some people have mentioned issues with the pricing of items they're selling, or staff seeming less than professional sometimes, which is never a good look. It's got clothes for, you know, women, men, and even the kiddos, plus all sorts of home stuff, kitchen gadgets, even some fancy food and beauty products, for gifts or whatever! The best part is definitely finding brand-name things for way less than you'd expect, and the inventory changes all the time, so going there is never the same, which is nice for shopping.

I heard one story about this employee, Melissa, who was really helpful when a customer needed to get a chair into their car, she actually helped to get it into their vehicle! Sometimes the checkout lines get a little long, and I guess some people think the store can be a bit messy, depending on the day and there has been some theft among employees, but, honestly, those finds? Dick's Sporting Goods in Chesapeake is a pretty big store that usually has a Field & Stream attached, if you're needing to grab any athletic equipment, outdoor gear, and apparel. They generally stock stuff for loads of sports, also things such as fishing, camping, and hunting; their options are plentiful. Honestly, some people think they've been pushing the clothing selection lately, and that the "traditional" sports and outdoor equipment isn't as available which is concerning but I feel like they are a sporting goods store. It could be great to check out if you are in the Hampton Roads area.
I hear a lot of people saying good things about the staff; like, they say they're helpful and know their stuff, especially in the shoe, golf, and archery sections and their is nothing more annoying then people who don't know the products they are selling. From what I've read, customers also appreciate how clean and well-organized the store is, as well as those quick checkout lines - which is everything you want when you're trying to get in and out to continue on with your day. They even carry snacks. I'm thinking of checking this out. People seem to go nuts for the fact that you can snag brand-name items at prices that don't make you want to cry – clearly a big draw for bargain shoppers trying to get the most bang for their buck on all sorts of things.
The buzz online is mostly positive; people are consistently talking about the great prices and the thrill of the hunt when discovering cool, unique items. A number of reviews are happy with the variety they offer; including brand names. Apparently, the location is really convenient, since it's close to the Pentagon City Metro, which is a definite bonus. I saw a review mentioning they even have high-end stuff you can't find at other Marshalls. A few people mentioned that the lines can be long and that the customer service can be inconsistent. Others mentioned bathroom issues. I will keep my expectations neutral.

#119 Ross Dress for Less

Ross Dress for Less in Chesapeake offers a pretty good variety of stuff, it's true. You can usually find something for everyone – clothes for the fam, shoes, sometimes even home decor, the typical Ross grab bag. Honestly, the prices are pretty competitive, which is probably why it's always packed with people hunting for a bargain. Supposedly if you are looking for the ultimate spot to find cloths, it could be a good choice.
I mean, people genuinely enjoy scoring deals; it's a treasure hunt, right? I hear the shoe selection is pretty great, along with the baby clothes and toys. A lot of people also say the employees are friendly, which is always a plus. Though, to be real, you can find reviews pointing out the store can be a little messy due to people moving items around or tucking away an item. I also hear lines can be long, especially in the evenings, and a few people have mentioned needing more staff, maybe to keep things a little tidier.

Jos A. Bank is a men's clothing retailer in Virginia Beach; they've got suits, tuxedos, the whole business casual thing, and all the little accessories to go with it. Apparently, they have both options for buying clothes so, ready-to-wear and the fancier custom-made stuff. Tailoring is available, of course. For anyone hunting around town for something formal, Jos. A. Bank wants to be that place with all the styles and price ranges one could want.
People who shop there rave about the staff being super helpful, which I'm glad to know, and knowledgeable. Arturo, Kimberly, Greg, and Rene have been called out for their personal service and attention to detail; I guess some people appreciate that extra level. Lots of customers mentioned how much they liked the staff's patience and getting tips on styling, especially if their needing the right fit on short notice, which is good to know. I see a couple of people who used them for wedding stuff. They said the alterations were good and everyone looked great. Finding discounted items or getting issues handled from other stores seems to be other positive points that came up often enough. But for the sake of being fair, some folks had bad experiences with alterations, not being paid attention to, or poor service overall.

From what I've heard, the store generally gets good marks for being tidy and having helpful staff, which is always a win. Word is they also have some pretty awesome deals, especially around Black Friday, I always miss that. Some people mentioned that returns and exchanges were fairly smooth, while others enjoy that they can take their whole family shopping there. Although, I did see some complaints about long checkout lines are annoying and them not always having the best size range and some people weren't happy about the clothing quality, so maybe it's a mixed bag.

Macy's at Chesapeake is, you know, a classic department store. It is supposed to have everything from clothes for everyone, and shoes, to jewelry, makeup, house stuff, even beds. Plus, there's supposed to be this Toys-R-Us area, which is cool, I guess? The vibe I get is that they want to be the place you go for clothes, no matter what you're looking for.
I heard that the sales are actually pretty good, specially when it comes to sweaters, towels, or just random things on clearance. Apparently, they do have a good amount of dresses and just everyday wear, including plus sizes, which is great because it's kind of difficult to find things in my size. I've heard good things about the staff too. A lot of people have named specific employees like Erika, Ms. May, Kevin, Kelly, Michael, Christy and Patricia who are super helpful in shoes, men's stuff, and jewelry and getting you out quick. Some people have had bad experiences with the staff, but everyone has a bad day, right?

The Walmart Supercenter in Virginia Beach looks like a pretty standard big-box store and it offers practically anything you could imagine needing. You can grab groceries, fresh veggies, clothing, shoes, and electronics all in one spot, they supposedly have plants, and get this, even craft beer! It really tries to be a one-stop shop, especially if you find yourself searching for that elusive "clothing store near me."
From what I've been hearing, people really dig their prices, the massive selection, and the general cleanliness of the store, so its nice to hear that. Some shoppers have also had awesome experiences with specific employees, who were super helpful and friendly too; it's always good to see that some retail workers are appreciated for it. I've heard online order pickup is available and easy, but definitely check for reports regarding long lines, staffing issues, inconsistent product quality and potentially rude employees. Apparently, some people have also run into problems with online order fulfillment and the auto center, it might be better to schedule a visit during morning hours.

From what I've heard, if you are in need of a place to revamp your closet, especially if you are looking for something for your kids, Target’s clothing selection is worth checking out. Plus, they often run sales, which is always a win.
The team members seem to be a highlight for the location. I've seen shoutouts for Malika, Vernon, Lillian, Cris, Anthony, Tyquez, Shaniqua, and Caitlyn. Seems they are total pros when it comes to customer service and people notice when someone's genuinely trying to help you out. Beyond the staff, apparently the store is generally clean, organized, and well-stocked, which makes finding what you actually came for a lot easier. Curbside pickup seems to be a hit, too, if you're short on time, I mean who isn't?

Burlington in Richmond is a pretty popular spot, I think. They really do seem to have a bit of everything, not just clothes and shoes, but also cute accessories and even stuff for your home, which is convenient. It's got a good rep for having a huge range of stuff at prices you can actually afford, and the location is super easy to get to, which makes it a solid choice when you need... well, anything, actually.
People seem to genuinely dig how much stuff they cram into that place, and the variety does get compliments from other people. A clean store is a plus, too, it's always a better experience when I'm in a clean place. Having nice people working there is always good, creating an atmosphere that doesn't make me want to bolt. You always get some bad apples, I guess, cause there's been some grumbling about iffy customer service and associates being not so nice. It's a bummer when that happens, but overall, a lot of folks keep going back because they do have some good quality items at a price that doesn't make you gasp.

A lot of people say it's the best in the area if you need an outfit for a wedding, a job interview, or whatever fancy thing you got going on; plus, they do tailoring, which is nice 'cause who actually fits perfectly into clothes off the rack? They definitely have options for pretty much everyone.
Honestly, I keep hearing people rave about how helpful the staff are – Deon, Greg, Megan, Ashley, Joshua, Alan, Jose, Kerry, Moreland, Betty, and Dyami get shout-outs all the time. Plenty of reviewers mention specific employees going above and beyond, dishing out style advice, and generally making the shopping trip smooth and memorable. Folks seem to really appreciate the quick, efficient service, not to mention the expertise when getting fitted for suits and tuxedos, which, let's be real, isn't something most of us do every day, so getting a little help from professionals is always welcomed.

The Banana Republic Factory Store in Norfolk has a pretty solid selection, focusing on work-ready outfits, everyday clothes, and stuff for petites too. I've heard they stock dresses, sweaters, pants, even t-shirts and that the prices are relatively reasonable. It's useful knowing, if I ever needed to stock up on work-appropriate outfits.
It seems shoppers tend to appreciate the affordable prices and the range of items available; they say the sales associates are generally helpful and friendly. I've read some reviews mentioning how clean and organized the store is, plus they have those price checker machines. Some folks have been happy about finding amazing deals and the attentive staff, which is appreciated especially when it's busy. But i've also read that some of the sizing availability can be hit or miss, and there's the occasional bad review about sales pressure or unhelpful attitudes. One person described an extremely unfortunate and unacceptable incident in the fitting room and how badly it was handled.

A couple people I know were saying the staff were actually super friendly and helpful, which is always a major plus when you just need a hand, or just to locate a specific item. They've got a ton of souvenirs, all the beach gear like umbrellas and boogie boards, and even just random convenience things that you always forget, maybe I should've brought more sunscreen, right? If you're looking for clothes, I bet you'll find something, because they seem to have a wide selection of t-shirts and stuff, including plus sizes, that's pretty cool, and makes it convenient.
Honestly, I’ve heard so many people say that Sunsations is the best because they have practically everything, and for decent prices, which isn’t always the case at tourist traps, ha. Plus, they have nice staff members, especially the younger ones, which is always a good thing; I always feel better if the person is being nice to me. #130 DTLR

DTLR is a store in Norfolk that focuses on athletic apparel, particularly popular sneakers, cool Nike tees, also slides are available there. For folks trying to save some dough, the prices on shoes seem fairly reasonable, you know? DTLR makes sure they got the hottest drops, particularly when it comes to Jordans. Though, some say, if you need a bigger variety, you should check out Creme, which is located in the mall.
I've noticed that many customers are super happy with DTLR for having a sweet selection of shoes and getting all the new releases. Some people were really giving individual employees props, for example, Ashley, who apparently provides excellent customer service that others have noticed. Some people also talk about the cashiers, saying they were patient and super nice, too. Plus, a lot of shoppers leave the store feeling great about what they bought. I have seen reviews stating that inventory can be light sometimes, and some of the shoes may be unauthorized. I guess it just depends on the day.

Target at Chesapeake's Greenbrier is basically your everything store, I suppose. It's got, you know, all the things a person could need. From new flatscreen TVs to groceries and even the basics to replenish your closet. Plus, being a clothing store close to my place, it's really a good option for apparel. They’ve got stuff for everyone, beauty supplies, toys, and those boring but necessary household things, too. The thing is, being able to get a ton of different items in one place, that's a great perk for when your busy.
Honestly, sometimes the checkout lines can drag, and stuff being out of stock is really annoying. The staff is usually pretty cool, though, with some customers giving a shout-out to the folks at the Starbucks inside and the electronics staff. The recent remodel did some good because it's often clean and easy to find what you're looking for, from what I'm told. Curbside pickup is fast and easy, too, which is convenient. I mean it's nice to be able to find some unique food items and use those Target Circle rewards, it’s a good draw.
