T.J. Maxx in Rock Springs is a pretty decent department store if you're looking for a variety of things; they have clothes, shoes, home stuff, beauty products, even pet stuff and kitchen things. You can often snag some name brands or unique gifts for way less than usual. It's true the clothing isn't always on point with current trends, and the men's section is a little sad, but the selection overall is wide enough that it's usually worth stopping in, I think. For those of you wanting a clothing store, it's another spot in Rock Springs to explore.
People definitely seem to love the deals at that T.J. Maxx, especially when it comes to finding name-brand stuff on sale and other neat finds. It is nice when you can just wander around discovering useful items or unexpected gifts, that’s for sure, and apparently the store is typically pretty tidy and organized. Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply in Cheyenne has a pretty solid reputation around here. I hear they carry basically everything, from Carhartt work clothes – which is super useful with the weather we get – to farm and ranch stuff. People say if you need tools, Husqvarna mowers, or Stihl chainsaws, it's a good spot. Plus, they even sell ammunition and supplies for various animals; I heard someone mention they got stuff for their dogs there, which is kinda cool.
Word is, what people love most is the selection; they have just about everything a person could want. I've read that the staff are nice and know what they're talking about, which always makes a shopping trip way less stressful. I saw a review mentioning Vicki, someone who helped them out with everything; others have mentioned really liking the clean, organized feel to the store, and they let you bring your dog in, which is always a plus. Sometimes their pricing can be a little off, and one person couldn't get parts for their mower, but overall, most people seem pretty happy with Murdoch's.

Cheyenne's Walmart Supercenter is where you go for a bit of everything, they also happen to be fairly close to my place, so that's a plus. Besides clothes, which, let's be honest, is sometimes hit or miss, you can find basically anything you need: groceries, electronics, even farm stuff which is maybe a Wyoming thing, I guess. It's definitely convienent since you can even get your haircut or an eye exam too.
I've seen people complimenting about how clean and organized they are; which is good to know for when I go. Also, you can't knock a place that has friendly employees, not to mention they have scan-and-go, and that curbside pickup situation sounds easy. I also heard that their glasses section is pretty good, with people who are nice and actually know what they're doing, which is important when you're trying to find the perfect frames. A few people has mentioned stocking issues, I hope they can improve for their customer's sake.

Ross Dress for Less in Cheyenne is pretty popular, I think, mostly because you can find some real steals there. People rave about the prices, and I hear you can score anything from work clothes that keep you under budget, nice outfits, even some home decor stuff. The reviews are generally pretty positive about the staff being friendly and helpful, which I think makes a big difference. They do a lot, since finding a good deal always gives you this rush, you know? Plus, it's always a win when you find something you actually want, even if it's just a random kitchen gadget.
I mean, sure, not everything's perfect, right? A couple of people have grumbled about the checkout lines being super long, and sometimes it seems like their selection in certain sizes can be limited, and they may had said its a little messy and could be cleaner. Sierra, just off the interstate in Cheyenne, is a pretty cool place for finding deals on clothes plus outdoor stuff. I think they have a really great selection of things, so there's generally something for everyone and the staff is usually really friendly. It does appear like they have sales going on all the time so you can almost always find a bargain, especially if you're not too picky about the brand.
I heard some people talking about how the inventory changes frequently, so that means there is always fresh stock. Others find the customer service to be pretty helpful, even though I read some reviews talking about slow responses. But honestly, if you're in the area and you're looking for some decent prices and quality products, it's worth a stop.

Buckle in Casper is this place where they have a pretty wide selection, you know, from jeans and shirts to sweaters, even sunglasses; the prices can be a little higher than other stores, I guess. Lots of people say the clothes are really good quality, though, which is fair. If you are looking for a new outfit or maybe just the trendiest jeans, you may find this place worth checking out, and they have Hey Dude shoes in there, I think, although I don't know much about those shoes, personally.
The thing that people compliment most is how good the customer service is. Loads of the reviewers have said the staff are really friendly; a lot of them are attentive, and people say they really go out of their way to help. Some people had great experiences finding exactly what they needed because the staff was so helpful finding the correct size and style. I have seen that some people have had issues with jeans wearing out too fast, so that's not great if you are paying a lot of money, but that isn't very common. Also, somebody once mentioned about feeling watched closely by one of the staff, which isn't something I'd look forward to.

Spencer's is a shop I know is near Cheyenne; it’s got all sorts of stuff, from clothing to random gag gifts you definitely won't find anywhere else. A lot of folks I know find it's perfect to grab something kinda out there for birthdays, I feel like. I will add that I heard the phone service there isn’t great.
The reviews say the atmosphere in Spencer's is a big selling point, along with the attentiveness from its employees, well, most of them anyway. A lot of folks have said that their customer service makes it a fun place to shop. One of them mentioned a particular employee, Taylor, being especially helpful. Although, you do see how some shoppers are frustrated with the return policy, which I totally get because store credit only could be annoying, plus there have been a couple of complaints about staff not being super polite, its understandable.
