#1 Jeans Palace
1635 W San Carlos St, San Jose, CA 95128
Monday: [10 AM-9 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-9 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-9 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-9 PM], Friday: [10 AM-9 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-9 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-8 PM]
Jeans Palace in San Jose seems legit, I've heard it's where you can find that urban vibe alongside workwear essentials and a ton of team gear. They call themselves the "best clothing store in San Jose," which feels like a bold statement, but from what I'm seeing, they do have a really broad selection, stocking everything from jeans to tees, hats, and even shoes and accessories. Apparently, they're stocked with brands everybody knows, Dickies, Levi's, Pro Club, it seems they carry a good variety of clothing for women, men and kids. Plus they've supposedly got a pretty good selection of sizes which can be great for those who need larger sizes.
It looks like people generally have great things to say; the customer service gets a lot of praise, and the staff are usually described as super friendly and the store is clean. Loads of customers mention the awesome selection of clothes and hats, they said its easy to find just what they needed and the prices are reasonable. I read a review that mentions that they are good with hard-to-find sizes. The store's been around for a while, and they really invest in customer care, it's cool to see. But, some people have mentioned that the prices are too high in places, I also read one review that said the selection in some areas were too limited, also something about loud music and no dogs.

#2 Carter's
4550 W Pico Blvd suite c 1-306, Los Angeles, CA 90019
Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-8 PM]
Carter's in Los Angeles is pretty much a staple for kids' clothes, especially if you're on the hunt for deals. I hear from other parents that they've got a pretty good selection, plus they're always running some kind of promotion to catch your eye, it's hard to resist. Apparently, the brand is known for holding up well after multiple washes, which, honestly, is half the battle when you're dealing with babies and toddlers.
People seem to really appreciate the staff there, many reviews mentioned how genuinely helpful they were. You know, like actually taking the time to help you find something or figure out sizing which sometimes seems off. Plus, being able to order online and pick up in the store is a huge plus for security. Still, there was some things people weren't so crazy about, some found it a bit on the smaller side and maybe not as many options as some of the other bigger stores out there.

#3 Olverita's Village
648 North Main Street, Olvera St W24, Los Angeles, CA 90012
Monday: [9:30 AM-5:30 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-5 PM], Wednesday: [9:30 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [9:30 AM-6 PM], Friday: [9:30 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-6 PM]
Olverita's Village in Olvera Street is definitely a place that captures a specific vibe. You can find traditional Mexican clothes, gifts, and food all bundled together in a really colorful space. It could be your one-stop destination if you're planning a Mexican themed party or just want to browse unique dresses and jewelry. I've heard its a must-see for tourists looking for something different, with people saying you will literally feel as if you've walked into another country, with all the shops and places to eat around.
Many people find unique and beautiful things when they're there, especially the dresses for special occasions, though it can be a bit expensive depending on what you want. The staff, I have read, are often described as super helpful and nice, which makes shopping way more enjoyable if that's what you are looking for! While I did see some comments online about the prices being a little higher, and also issues related to online fulfillment, the general impression seems to be really positive, especially if you can go during the week to miss the big crowds.

Miss Match Boutique in San Diego is seriously worth checking out if you're hunting for cute clothes. They seem to have a pretty wide range of styles, so whether you're more into dresses or jeans, you'll find something. Plus, it's supposed to be affordable, a real find for those of us needing outfits for work *and* hitting up happy hour later, maybe a casual Saturday morning errand run. From what I've seen, it looks like they carry a good range of sizes too, which is honestly a huge plus, you know?
And speaking of pluses, loads of people rave about how awesome the staff is there, especially Vanessa and Cindy, seems they really go above and beyond. I did read a random person complain that they weren't greeted in the store once, but mostly there's reports of helpfulness, styling advice and them being just plain friendly. What is so cool is they'll even do alterations which helps so much when nothing is ever *exactly* the right length. Apparently, wearing stuff from there guarantees compliments, aint that great?

#5 AB Fits
1519 Grant Ave, San Francisco, CA 94133
Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [Closed], Wednesday: [12-6 PM], Thursday: [12-6 PM], Friday: [12-6 PM], Saturday: [12-6 PM], Sunday: [12-6 PM]
AB Fits sounds amazing, a friend told me it’s where to go in San Francisco for quality clothes. I hear they've got a real knack for curating streetwear, denim, and those cool accessories you can't find anywhere else. Word on the street is they carry both well-known brands and some up-and-coming designers, plus, they do tailoring? That's a win-win, especially because finding clothes that actually fit can be, you know, challenging.
Honestly, what I’ve heard most is the customer service is out of this world, especially from someone named Howard. Apparently he’s a denim guru or something, and the staff can help you find the perfect fit which I guess isn't a big deal. People are raving about how knowledgable and helpful they are. Apparently the quality is top-notch, which, okay, explains the higher prices, but you're paying for something that'll last, right? I think that’s a smart investment, and supporting a local business!

#6 Spencer's

Spencer's has, I think, a pretty decent reputation as a go-to in Sacramento when you're hunting for unusual bits and bobs, especially jewelry and t-shirts repping Disney or other pop culture icons. It's also a good place to check out anime merch, which definitely draws a specific crowd, but still, I think it's cool they got it. What you'd expect from a mall store.
Generally, folks seem to dig Spencer's mainly for its eclectic mix of things – you know, the kind of stuff you wouldn't find anywhere. People are especially into their tees, jewelry, and those quirky gifts when you need to find something for someone who's a little hard to shop for. Staff is usually friendly and can help guide you on making the perfect choice. Is a little expensive, though.

Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [Closed], Wednesday: [12-4 PM], Thursday: [12-4 PM], Friday: [12-6 PM], Saturday: [12-6 PM], Sunday: [12-4 PM]
Sew Loka in Barrio Logan sounds like the perfect spot to find something truly special for your closet. You can find reworked vintage pieces alongside custom designs, and she does amazing work with coin purses and bags. It's a clothing store that champions local artistry, with a positive energy. I heard she made 10k masks during the pandemic and she's got a crop fleece embroidery sweater that says "Brown AF" which is hilarious and original.
Claudia, who I believe is the owner, seems to be the heart of the business, and people rave about her talent and how kind she is. Apparently, she's super skilled at sewing, doing everything from alterations to creating custom designs and she makes you feel right at home when you pop by, plus the atmosphere is welcoming and joyful, from the sound of it. Her dedication to upcycling is another big draw, with people appreciating the unique designs and the option to customize items. I read one reviewer mentioned Sew Loka was San Diego's best for 2023, and that's impressive!

#8 Hammer & Lewis
19 S 1st St, San Jose, CA 95113
Monday: [10:45 AM-7:30 PM], Tuesday: [10:45 AM-7:30 PM], Wednesday: [10:45 AM-7:30 PM], Thursday: [10:45 AM-7:30 PM], Friday: [10:45 AM-7:30 PM], Saturday: [10:45 AM-7:30 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
Hammer & Lewis is basically a San Jose institution if you’re looking for menswear that isn’t super trendy. It sounds like they've got a huge selection; apparently their Pendletons are to die for. It seems like the kind of place where you could find a full suit, plus a hat and shoes, you know, if you need that kind of thing.
The reviews are full of people raving about the customer service, which, honestly, is a massive win these days. I mean, who doesn't love a salesperson who actually knows their stuff, specially someone like Yvette who can hook you up with the perfect fit? It's nice to hear some businesses are still family-owned and care about a traditional feel. The clothes must be good because so many people said they’ve been shopping there for ages; a couple people even said they wished the store would remember them. Though, someone pointed out the website wasn’t correct about their hours once, that can be such a drag when that happens!

#9 No Shop
389 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94103
Monday: [11 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [11 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [11 AM-7 PM], Friday: [11 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-7 PM]
No Shop in San Francisco sounds like a really cool spot for vintage finds; people have said it's a "pearl" when it comes to scoring unique clothes. It's known to carry a good mix, from band tees to cute dresses and cool outerwear - plus, I've heard they actually carry plus sizes, which you don't always see in vintage shops. The Mission District has some hidden gems, though some can be pricey. I heard it's one of the better ones when it comes to prices in that area.
Reviewers often say the clothes are interesting and good quality, especially for the price, and that the vibe is chill, which is something I look for in a shopping experience. When I buy vintage, it's very important for it to be in solid condition, as some places have damaged pieces. Also the staff being friendly is always a plus, but it sounds like this depends on the day. Some mentioned finding amazing deals, such as Barbour jackets or cool sweaters, but be sure to check the clothing in good lighting before you buy something as there can be stains.

#10 Getta Clue Store

Getta Clue in Sacramento is a popular spot if you're looking for clothes or shoes; it's got a real following. People talk about their shirts, jeans, hoodies and other merch and seem to consider it the place to go if you want up-to-date styles. I think a big draw is that they offer that "Sacramento" branded stuff which, honestly, everyone eats up.
Honestly, the customer service seems to be a huge reason people keep going back; many comment on how friendly and helpful the staff are. Also, it sounds nice that the store supports local artists, and there's something to be said for stores with a distinct point of view. Though I will say, I read something about their return policy not being the most accommodating and there was something strange about someone getting skipped for a haircut but it can happen everywhere. Still, plenty of people have been shopping there for ages, following them through different locations, which says something, right?

Diva Fajas Colombianas in Sacramento seems to be a popular spot if you're searching for legit Colombian shapewear. They've got all sorts of things there from waist trainers to those padded body suits that are, I gotta admit, pretty tempting. I've heard they're known for having really well-made products that last, if that matters to you.
It seems like a lot of people love the service they get there; you know, where the staff is actually helpful and not just trying to get you to buy the most expensive thing. I gather they have tons of options and people seem really happy with how the shapewear makes them look, like, they're actually planning on going back, which speaks volumes. There were some comments about GPS directions being wonky and the return policy being a little strict, but generally people have good things to say.

Five Points Men's Clothing in Los Angeles seems to be a pretty cool spot if you're hunting for workwear, especially if you're into vintage. They’ve got all the reliable brands, you know, Dickies, Carhartt, Lee, and they sell everything from basic shirts and pants to those old-school coveralls and jackets. Apparently, its both new and used, where you'll find the best place to find durable clothing.
People always give props to the customer service there, particularly this woman, Terry (or Teresa), who many people say is super helpful. Reviewers online said she's kind, knowledgeable, and will actually go above and beyond to help you find exactly what you want. They stock vintage clothing and prices are more than reasonable; the vibe there is just good as well. I heard they can even special order stuff, and they carry clothes for men and woman and a diverse range of sizes. However, some people has left with inconsistent store hours or limited stock.

#13 R. Douglas Custom Clothier

Monday: [10 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [Closed], Sunday: [Closed]
R. Douglas Custom Clothier sounds amazing, from what I've gathered; they're all about crafting suits and tailored clothes that totally nail your personal style. They have a really cool selection of fabrics, too, apparently—so you can get super specific about what you want. Plus, it seems like everyone there is really knowledgeable and patient, which is nice when you're trying to design something completely custom. I think this is great for those who have trouble finding clothes that fit correctly off the rack.
People who've gotten suits there are really happy, according to reviews. So many customers mentioned how attentive the staff were, especially guys like Jose and Cody, and other consultants. I read someone mention Christopher as well, and I think that they are all very professional. It’s worth the extra expense, it seems, considering how much better the fit is compared to off-the-rack stuff, some people say. But, I think it is kind of expensive. And there was this one person who had a frustratingly long wait for alterations. Those who are patient, and can afford it seem to think it’s *the* place in Sacramento for custom suits.

#14 Buck Mason
107 N Larchmont Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90004

Buck Mason is a men's clothing store here in LA that seems to have a really solid reputation, particularly when it comes to quality. From what I've read, they specialize in menswear that is classic, functional, and designed to last – wardrobe staples and neutral tones are what they're known for, which I appreciate. Supposedly, they've also put a lot of thought and care into the shop's design; it's supposed to be modern and inviting, too.
Honestly, I've heard so many rave reviews about the customer service at Buck Mason, which is always a major plus, you know? People consistently mention how knowledgeable and friendly the staff is, with a lot of individual shout-outs for folks like Beth, Jordan, David, and several others. Seems they're really good at helping guys find the right sizes and put together outfits. The comments I saw consistently emphasized the genuine and pleasant shopping vibe they cultivate. While some shoppers did mention the women's selection being limited, or that some of the advertising imagery isn't particularly inclusive, there's a definite consensus that they have wonderful clothes.

#15 CALI Strong: The California Sports Company
789 W Harbor Dr UNIT 142, San Diego, CA 92101
Monday: [12-7 PM], Tuesday: [12-7 PM], Wednesday: [12-7 PM], Thursday: [12-7 PM], Friday: [12-7 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [12-7 PM]
Cali Strong, California Sports Company, is supposed to be this really cool clothing store in San Diego, and I've been told they have all sorts of Cali-themed things. Supposedly, you can find unique stuff, it might be hats where you can switch out the patches -- which sounds kinda fun, I guess? They might also have cool socks, skate shoes, hoodies, and even clothes that glow in the dark, its giving me raver vibe. From what I can gather, it seems like the whole point is offering comfy and stylish California gear, but I also wonder if that is overpriced because of the location.
Anyway, from what I've read, people are really happy with their experience. Lots of folks mention Jim, Lance, Brandon, and Jenn by name and how friendly, and how helpful they are being. And it seems to have a fun vibe cause a lot of the reviews talk about games in the store, free stuff, and this welcoming atmosphere that makes shopping an actual, like, experience. Also, the clothes are reportedly good quality too. The Rasta hoodie is often brought up, its supposedly comfy, durable, and the designs are one of a kind, which is awesome. However, there was this one review about someone’s online order being a mess, which sucks cause who want an unexpected refund with no one explaining what happened, ya know?

#16 Dark Garden
321 Linden St, San Francisco, CA 94102
Monday: [11 AM-5 PM], Tuesday: [Closed], Wednesday: [11 AM-5 PM], Thursday: [11 AM-5 PM], Friday: [11 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-5 PM]
Dark Garden in San Francisco is where it's at if you're searching for couture corsets. High-end, custom designs, lingerie, and a curated clothing selection – they've got it all. From celebrities wanting a unique statement piece to women who just want a cool and elegant garment, it's clearly the spot in San Francisco to find something beautiful and perfectly fitted; the staff is extremely helpful in directing people to exactly what they are looking for.
People really dig Dark Garden. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and they’re all about making you feel good in your skin. Autumn, who is the owner, and the rest of her crew are pros at helping you find the perfect corset. I have read on the reviews people who appreciated how comfortable and confident they felt during fittings; a lot of people really seem to love the quality of the fabrics and how the garments fit, saying it's something of a confidence boost. Sure, it might cost a bit more, but most customers agree that you’re paying for the quality, personalized service, and artistic expertise.

#17 Crazy Shirts
853 W Harbor Dr STE. C, San Diego, CA 92101
Monday: [10 AM-9 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-9 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-9 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-9 PM], Friday: [10 AM-9 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-9 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-9 PM]
Crazy Shirts in San Diego has quite the reputation, from what I've heard. It's supposedly *the* spot for t-shirts; I think their dye methods are what makes them stand out amongst a bunch of stores. Seriously, I've read stuff that they're using chocolate, beer, and even Kona coffee to dye the shirts! It gives them really unique colors, and sometimes, even a scent, which is kind of cool, right? They seem to have a good range of styles, too; Hawaiian shirts, long-sleeves, so everyone can find something.
I've seen so many reviews raving about the staff – apparently, they go above and beyond to help you find exactly what you want and are always so friendly. The names Darlene and Carmen come up repeatedly. The general consensus sounds that the shirts are worth the money because they're quality and the designs are super original. I read one that someone owned their shirt for over 20 years. Plus, I saw they're environmentally conscious, use Pima cotton (which is comfy). Basically, if you're looking for a souvenir, or just a really cool t-shirt, Crazy Shirts in Seaport Village should be on the list. There's a clearance section too, so maybe you'll get lucky, but I heard their stuff is a bit on the pricier side.

#18 Double Down

Double Down in San Francisco seems neat; from what I can gather, they sell a mix of vintage, upcycled, and clothes they design themselves, which sounds cool. You can probably find everything from colorful sweaters and skater tees to, get this, chic outerwear and delicate jewelry there. It's not just clothing either - looks as though they've got accessories, art, skate gear, and random cool stuff aiming to have something for most everyone.
I mean, people seem to really dig the staff, especially Diana and Edwin, who are repeatedly called out for being super helpful and nice. Plenty of folks mention the prices being fair, particularly the vintage stuff they curate; and the fact that local artists' works are sold there is definitely a point in their favor. Apparently, the vibe is "cute" and "lovely", the store is organized well, and the selection is great, plus some skateboard stuff to boot.

State Of Flux in San Francisco's Mission District? It's a total gem. They've got this seriously cool streetwear vibe going on, and the stuff feels really well-made. What's unique about them is it's all local designers with small-batch clothing. You can find anything from a basic tee, hoodies, or more like statement pieces that you really won't find anywhere else. It's like a distinct West Coast aesthetic, you know. They also seem to carry hats, bags, pins, and patches and the collection of shoes adds to it.
I've been hearing really good things from people who've checked them out. Apparently, the quality is awesome, and the designs are so unique and original, especially on Valencia. And that Johnny guy, the owner, everyone mentions how friendly he is, it creates such a chill atmosphere. It's important to note the love for supporting local designers, that means a lot to the community, even their discounts are a great hit. I did hear there was one complaint regarding the strict return policy on discounted online items, it felt more limiting than most stores. It's important to always be aware of the return policy when shopping anywhere.

Upper Level is this clothing store in Sacramento that everyone raves about; apparently, they've got a huge selection of streetwear. From what I've read, it's a place to go if you're looking for Supreme or Bape, they seem to carry a whole bunch of clothes, shoes, and accessories from those brands. I think if you're trying to find something super trendy, it sounds a lot like Upper Level could be the spot to hit up.
Honestly, what keeps popping up in reviews is that the customer service is really good, which I always appreciate. People specifically mention Nasa, Lonna, and Chris as being super helpful and friendly, which is always a plus. It sounds as if they got a unique and high-quality selection and that it's laid out well in the store. I've read that people think the prices are fair; someone even got some exclusive shoes for a great deal. Occasionally, you will see comments that said something about staff not being as great or items being overpriced. But, overall, it feels that folks seem pretty happy with their experiences at Upper Level.

Giorgio Rossi Mens Clothing, a men's store here in Los Angeles, it sounds alright. They have a good selection of stuff you know, suits, dress pants, sweaters, even denim, sport coats, and accessories, the usual suspects of ties and handkerchiefs. The thing is, they put a lot of attention on those imported suits, and finding some stylish things which is good for when you need big and tall sizes. Word on the street, you can find both modern styles or those basic cuts, sometimes at prices that won't hurt your wallet which is awesome. I heard there is a tailoring shop close that they can refer you to.
I keep hearing people rave about their service, though. Cornell, Peyman, Chris, even HooMan, people mentioned them. The people shopping there are saying they have knowledge about men's suits, they give helpful advice, and pay attention to what looks good on you. Customers mentioned the prices are good, and the suits are about the same as other well-known, but more expensive, brands. There are positive reviews, many have bought from them for decades! It seems like people feel like they are family, which is really nice, and the team is dedicated to getting you that perfect fit that makes you look your best! Oh, but keep in mind I did read one review from someone who had some issues with the customer service, so they decided to shop elsewhere.

Mystérieux in San Jose is a barbershop meets curated clothing boutique, which is a whole vibe, I gotta say. They've got a modern, minimalist aesthetic that's kinda cool, and people keep raving about the quality of their Mystérieux-branded shirts; which makes me think they must be doing something right, right? If you want a fresh cut and maybe a new shirt to go with it, their location near San Pedro Square is really convenient, and validated parking just makes life easier; you know?
You hear folks saying a lot about how good their barbers are; especially Rod, Ryan, Ronny, Korina, Jolan, and Brandon -- each with their own following. They are always being mentioned by the customers, and people are saying they’re super detail-oriented, professional, and know how to handle all kinds of hair, from fades to beard trims. A lot of people like how they offer suggestions, are friendly and create a chill, relaxing atmosphere. The shop itself is supposed to be really clean and the staff's energy is positive. While most experiences are great, just be aware that I think some reviewers mentioned it can be difficult to reach them by phone sometimes.

Jos A. Bank, near Sacramento, seems to be a solid option if you are looking for men's clothes, from what I have gathered; they've got a good selection of suits, dress pants, shirts, even shoes. Apparently, they also have tailoring on-site, which is convenient if you need alterations done. I've heard from my friends that they have found good clothes for their partners.
It sounds like Jos A. Bank really shines when it comes to customer service because I've read a few comments mentioning employees by name. Kevin, Winston, and Hares are apparently some stars there and it seems folks appreciate the sales rack too. I also noticed a lot of people mentioned the seamstress and the quality of the tailoring, which is a big plus, though I think there were a few instances of bad tailoring. A few reviews also highlight that they are good for tall or larger sizes.

Urban Girl seems like the kind of place that understands my aesthetic, you know? From what I've seen, it's a novelty store with a curated vibe, kind of how Etsy would look if it were a physical space, offering a bunch of unique clothes, accessories, mugs, and little San Diego souvenirs – which is ideal if your looking for a gift. They seem to have a great selection that features creative designs, really nice colors, and that super cute beachy look.
A lot of reviews mention how it's their go-to for cute items, and that the location is super convenient since it's near other places to shop and grab a bite. Apparently some of the staff are awesome, with some people even dropping names, Rosie and Charlotte, for being extra helpful and kind; this makes a huge difference. Of course, you'll always find someone complaining about the price being a little high or about the customer service; but I mean, where don't you see complaints? However, it does sound like the place to get touristy things like mugs and books, and clothes, and surfing merchandise. The teenage girl in me would probably love it, too.

#25 Torrid

Torrid in San Jose seems like a solid option for plus-size fashion, carrying a pretty wide range of clothing, from everyday stuff to lingerie and even those special occasion outfits we all stress about finding. I heard they carry sizes 10 to 30, which is great, and that petite options exist, too; good to know. What I've gathered is that you can find a fairly diverse collection there, even though some people think the prices are on the higher end, which, let's be real, is kind of the case everywhere these days.
Customer service is consistently brought up, and that's a major thing for me. People rave about the staff being super friendly, helpful, and seriously knowing their stuff when it comes to the clothes; I have read a lot of reviews mentioning specific people, people like Ariana, Glancy, and Genesis, and their positive energy to the point where people had to buy items. Sounds promising! The store itself is often described as clean and well-organized, and the parking is easy because it's in a strip mall; and some people find the quality to be great for the price, but a few people mentioned the quality might be going down, or that they wished there were more sizes or better deals.

Ann Taylor in Sacramento seems to be the spot if you're looking for something sophisticated, maybe for a job or a fancy dinner. They apparently kill it with their selection, especially if you're on the smaller side since they have petite sizes. There is something for everyone there.
Word is their clothes are really good quality, which probably explains why it costs a little more, but people seem to think it's worth it. Plus, plenty of customers rave about how clean and organized the store is, and how helpful the staff are - shout out to Maria, who gets a lot of love. It seems that they run some pretty good sales too. However, there have been some complaints when it comes to returns and feeling unwelcome, even though the majority of the comments appear to be about good quality clothing and good service.

Bonobos in San Jose is worth checking out if you're on the hunt for menswear. It's not your typical store setup; they have a "guide shop" thing going on where you try on clothes to figure out your size, particularly for pants, shirts, suits, and blazers, and then they just ship your order to you. Finding the right fit can be a pain, but that’s their whole deal, and a lot of guys find this approach pretty helpful.
What's really cool is that people can't stop raving about the customer service. Customers often mention employees like Ash, Angelica, Emily, Paul, Sam, CJ, Pedro, Anthony, Alex, Emerald, and James by name because they’re so attentive; the guys are patient and will help you put together a whole outfit. The shipping is usually fast, plus returns aren't a nightmare. There have been some complaints, about inconsistent sizing or the occasional grumpy employee, not to mention some people have had quality problems with their purchases - though it seems like this is the exception rather than the rule.

Hollister in San Jose definitely has a specific vibe, a very California thing that seems to appeal most to teens and young adults. They carry a decent range of stuff, from jeans and tops to even fragrances, really catering to that youthful, trendy aesthetic which is a smart business model. It's always interesting to see how stores cultivate a particular image, isn't it?
People seem to consistently comment on how friendly the staff is, which honestly, makes a big difference when you're shopping. I read that they're really attentive and helpful. Plus, who doesn't appreciate a good sale, especially on something like men's shirts? The reviews often mention they have a good loyalty program, too, which is a nice perk. I saw people commenting on their low-waisted jeans and how much they loved them, and, you know, finding the perfect pair of jeans is an achievement. Of course, I did see some not so stellar reviews - some people think that the employees are pushy, and that they sometimes mess up the orders which is such a headache.

Word on the street is, it's *the* place to go in LA if you're hunting for legit vintage finds, you know?
People seem to really dig the selection, plus the prices are decent, I hear. Lots of love for Micki, the owner; apparently she's super helpful and has a great vibe, which can make all the difference, am I right? The shop's layout is supposed to be really organized, which is always a plus, especially if you're trying to find something specific, and she knows the store super well. And the best part is that they have a great selection of jewellery under $10! I've also heard tell of people finding treasures like kimonos, leather goodies, and one-of-a-kind jewelry there. But, keep in mind, that there are a few complaints about customer service and some comments about feeling a kinda pretentious vibe and some issues about price discrepancies.

People also dig the prices, especially when you factor in how unique and well-made the clothes are. It's not suprising that regular shoppers always stumble upon some new cool clothing finds. Day to Day Vintage in North Park seems to be a place where you can find all sorts of cool, one-of-a-kind pieces, they have so many reviews online! The selection sounds really diverse, ranging from vintage tees to jackets and dresses from different eras, if you into that style of clothing. It sounds like they prioritize finding unique items, which is a plus if you want something that no one else is going to have, however, some pieces might not be in great condition.
It sounds as though people generally love the vibe there, with reviewers mentioning how organized the store is, the awesome music, plus the staff always seem to be super friendly. Several names pop up a lot in the reviews, like Alex, Katriz, Carla, Josh, and Jen, and people compliment them for their excellent service; it is super hard to find amazing workers these days. It seems as though some folks are concerned about pricing inconsistencies or maybe items not being in the best shape.

Seriously, it's got a curated thing going on with vintage clothes, accessories, furniture; even cool housewares. They even have handcrafted stuff from local artists, plus tiki stuff and plants, so it's a great place to look for gifts for someone (or yourself).
People seem to love Bad Madge, mostly because of the high-quality vintage finds and fair prices - who doesn't like a bargain? Tanya, the owner, is always getting shout outs for being friendly and helpful, and I hear sometimes they even offer complimentary drinks, that's nice. I guess one person had a not-so-great experience with a stained item that they couldn't return.

It seems a lot of people have had really great experiences with the staff, describing them as patient, which is always a plus when you're trying to find the perfect size. The Oakley Store in Sacramento is totally where it's at if you're looking for Oakley gear. They stock a bunch of different stuff, but are most well known for their sunglasses. It's pretty handy because you can find clothes, backpacks, shoes, practically anything Oakley makes.
Seriously, the reviews of Oakley are off the charts when it comes to service; everyone raves about how awesome the staff are. There’s loads of comments about the employees being super helpful and knowing their products inside and out, it's a real plus. Seems like they go the extra mile for warranty stuff, explaining the customization options, even just helping you find the perfect pair of shades. They have a military discount, and I heard they sometimes even replace broken frames right then and there. I've also heard of people complaining about how expensive they can be, though.

Find Your Feet in San Diego seems to be a total sock emporium, catering to what feels like every possible sock need you could imagine, I wonder if they have a sock sommelier. You can find anything from ankle socks to those knee-high ones that actually fit, which is a total win, cause it's so hard to find ones that aren't too tight. And apparently, it's not just socks either; they've got sandals and those comfy Sanuk slip-ons for sale, too, how convenient?
What people seem to love most is the sheer variety of socks, ranging from pop culture references to sports team designs, plus the staff get a lot of shout-outs for being friendly and helpful, and who doesn't appreciate that in a store setting. Getting to reorder online after you've visited them is an extra bonus, and I think that's a good business move. One customer mentioned spending over $200, so it is worth it to find the perfect pair of socks!

Banana Republic in Sacramento is a place to check out for work clothes, maybe a blazer. It is supposedly a great location for quality pieces, or so I've heard. They have good sales too - that makes a big difference.
I've heard that the customer service is actually good at that specific location, the staff sounds friendly, and it's clean which is very important. One person even said the staff went above and beyond when they were searching for a particular coat. But, if I went there, it sounds the lines might be long, and that maybe their staff does not always have the best attitude. It seems pretty good though overall as a place to find some classic pieces.

Big 5 in Los Angeles is a decent option for picking up sporting goods; they seem to carry a little bit of everything, including athletic clothes and outdoor stuff. They aren't just a place to grab a hoodie; they also sell equipment for fishing, camping, alongside exercise. I'm not sure about other locations but they usually have a decent selection in shoes at the very least and you can sign up for e-mails to receive digital coupons!
I've heard customers say the staff is pretty helpful and friendly, that they had a great experience and they really appreciate when employees go the extra mile. A lot of folks talk about the good prices, especially on sale items, as being a real win. The layout and cleanliness are talked up a lot too. Its a shame they seem to run out of certain things sometimes. I hope they improve on their staffing. Some people have mentioned sizes being limited and that it's not always well organized, but it looks to me this isn't a common concern.

I heard that Stuff in San Francisco is a pretty big antique and vintage store. Honestly, it seems to have everything – apparently there's two floors filled with furniture, art, and they also have a decent selection of vintage clothing. While it's not strictly a "clothing store" per se, you can probably find some cool vintage pieces. I've read you can get lost in there, exploring all the different vendors and the kinda mid-century vibe.
From what I've gathered, people seem to really love the selection at Stuff, and that it feels like you are on a hunt for treasure. So many mention spending hours browsing the curated collections, from smaller, affordable finds to really nice furniture. People appreciate the helpful, friendly employees. The store seems to be pretty organized and well-maintained. I see people complimenting it for having various styles, like Art Deco and post-modern. But, it's not all sunshine; some people think the prices are too high, bordering on insulting. Plus, I came across some customer service complaints regarding inconsistent treatment, and it looks like some people unfortunately reported experiences with racism.

Relic Vintage on Haight Street is a total gem for anyone obsessed with vintage clothes; they've got stuff from the roaring twenties all the way to the groovy seventies. Honestly, it’s probably the best place in the city. You can find everything from stunning dresses and dapper suits to delicate lingerie, plus hats and jewelry, and it's all super high quality and really unique, you know? They keep everything really well organized which makes it so easy to find what you're looking for, and they're always getting new stuff in, which makes you want to come back!
What I keep hearing is that the service at Relic Vintage is incredible, specifically Oran, the owner, is known for his being really attentive and having a great eye for styling outfits that flatter everyone. From what I've read online, the staff is always super friendly and helpful, which makes shopping there a really nice experience. People always compliment the amazing condition of the vintage pieces, and say the prices are pretty fair. Also, they are often willing to accommodate special requests for something. There was one review though that mentioned someone had a less-than-stellar experience, something about gossiping employees and being asked for ID, but for the most part, it sounds like a really great place to shop if you need something unique.

Rave Wonderland in Los Angeles seems to be this really fun spot, especially if you're prepping for a festival or rave. They have a huge range of stuff – outfits, accessories, even Kandi-making supplies, which is pretty cool. I've read that they also carry things that make people feel safe, and that the music and vibe makes shopping feel like a pre-rave, which is definitely a big plus. If you're searching for a clothing store in LA that just gets the whole rave scene, then this could be it.
People online definitely seem to love the staff; they're apparently really friendly and helpful, so that's nice! I keep seeing reviews talking about how energetic and welcoming the atmosphere is in-store, too. Customers appreciate the wide selection of rave clothing, with some specifically mentioning the plus-size options. However, some people have reported that online orders can be slow and that receiving full refunds can be difficult. It's also worth knowing that people have flagged issues around the material quality, sizing issues and limited in-store plus-size selection.

SKECHERS in the Gaslamp definitely focuses on shoes. They stock a pretty decent range for women, men, and kids. If you need something work-appropriate, especially if you're required to wear slip-resistant shoes, it's probably worth checking out. It's definitely not a general clothing store situation or anything, but they do sometimes carry special edition footwear and sandals. You could find some good deals, which you know is what everyone's looking for in this economy.
People that shop there seem to consistently rave about the staff, which, honestly, is a huge selling point these days. Apparently, employees go out of their way for you there. I've read online they have helped customers find that perfect fit. It is really nice to hear stories about exchanges and returns going smoothly, too. Some folks have grumbled about not finding their size or desired style in stock, and I did see at least one comment about too many marketing emails afterward, but the overall vibe seems pretty positive. Sports Fever, located somewhere in Sacramento, appears to be a super popular spot for sports fans looking for clothing and gear. They sell a ton of stuff related to different sports teams; it's supposed to be a one-stop shop, really. You can get anything from classic jerseys to unique throwback pieces, I imagine most fans could find something they wanted.
I've heard great things about the store's atmosphere, because I guess it's really clean and well-lit, which is always a plus. People also seem to be consistently happy with the staff; supposedly they're friendly and know a lot about the sports teams. Plenty of reviewers call out one particular employee named Rogelio, praising his cheerful attitude, which is nice, right? There’s mention of a military discount which is pretty awesome, and the selection isn’t limited to local teams, so that's good news for people following out-of-state teams. A few customers thought the prices were a little high, though, and some said the staff didn't really try to help and one person even claimed they were wrongfully accused of stealing. But from what I gather, Sports Fever still is considered a go-to for sporting goods.

GUESS Onsite in Los Angeles, is a clothing store. It stocks Guess stuff – clothes, shoes, accessories – for everyone in the family. Though keep in mind that the reviews have said that it can be a bit small and they don't always have a massive selection, particularly for guys. If you're on the prowl for decent discounts near Los Angeles, it could be worth a gander.
People seem to really dig this store due to the prices and the deals, they say you get deeper discounts than in the mall. Plus, several reviewers shout out the team, especially Roxana, Mary, and Dorian, for being really nice and always willing to help. Customers also noted that they found a varied collection of items, including watches and bags, for prices that seem too good to be true. It's true that some have said that sizing's inconsistent or that selection is a little limited; for the most part it is considered a great stop for fashion that won't break the bank.

Couture Uomo in San Francisco? Yeah, it's a men's store known for, you know, nice European stuff. They focus on suits, shirts, and jackets, but also have the accessories thing going on. I hear the point is they really try to work with you on tailoring and figuring out your style, even if you don't really know where to begin, and they supposedly get it right for anything from, say, a wedding to just looking put-together at work. Maybe it's worth a look if you are in need of anything formal.
Word on the street is David, who I guess is the owner, is a total pro at finding the right fit and what looks good. People rave about him helping them put together killer wedding suits. I have read some describe him as some kind of suit wizard or something. And apparently he gives it to you straight, which, honestly, I appreciate, so you can actually trust him to steer you in the right direction as far as styles go. Quality and good tailoring seems to be their bread and butter, judging by most of what I've seen in reviews. Though, you know, I did see one or two people mention some weird experiences with the owner being rude and unprofessional. This store isn't immune to this issue, some people claim the owner acted prejudiced, which, if true, like, hard pass. I prefer to keep my business somewhere people treat everyone well.

Love on Haight is this tie-dye shop in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury, and it's kind of a landmark. The outside is super colorful, you can't miss it, and it's like, totally photo-worthy for your Insta. You'll find so many pieces from a wide range of artists, which is kinda awesome—the store works with over 175 of them. They've got everything, from the usual shirts and dresses, but also tapestries and socks.
Honestly, I've seen rave reviews where people are obsessed with the vibe there. Staff members are nice and know all about the designers they work with, plus, they give you glitter, which everyone adores. It sounds like that positive energy and the support for local artists is a big draw. However, it looks like some people think that the prices are too high, and maybe the staff can be a little much. I guess you should go check it out to know.

Angelic Pretty San Francisco is, essentially, a wonderland for anyone obsessed with Japanese Lolita fashion. They've got everything; from dresses in all those sub-styles—sweet, gothic, and classic—to accessories that are just so extra, you know? Because they're one of the few actual stores where you can find authentic J-fashion in the States, they carry brands such as Angelic Pretty, Emily Temple Cute, and Enchantilly. If you're wanting this style, maybe this store in San Francisco is the only store for you. Though, the store does have its rules, there's limited space, you can't take photos, and the doors are locked, for safety issues.
Most people are raving about how magical and lovely the place feels, and they say the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and knows a whole lot about what they're selling. A ton of people have said that when they walked in they felt welcome, particularly those just now discovering Lolita fashion, because they appreciate the help they give to put together the perfect outfits. It's also worth mentioning is the quality and realness of the stuff, because it is imported. Granted, others have pointed out the garments can be pretty pricey, due to the brand being well-established. There are also some downsides to the store. For example, one customer has said the staff can be rude and judgemental, also the store can be way too pricey. They also note that the shelves are dusty.

Peek A Boo At Prevues sounds like a cool spot in Sacramento that's got all kinds of stuff. I've heard they have a really broad selection, which is awesome if you're trying to put together a look that isn't exactly mainstream. Word on the street is, they're a go-to if you're into vintage, modern, or need some unique costumes and accessories because who wants to wear the same mass-produced thing as everyone else? What makes it stand out is its supposed one-stop-shop vibe for people searching for some creative gothic, retro, or even punk fashion styles.
Tons of customers rave about Prevues! There's apparently great finds to be found, and a wide array of sizes, so it's not just the typical "everything is a size two" situation. The staff gets shout-outs for being helpful. I've read there's been a few isolated incidents where people felt like they were being followed, and that's never a good feeling, but by and large, most reviews are super positive. It's nice to know there are stores that'll help you put together something killer for a theme party or Halloween, plus I've seen many comments on their selection of jewelry!

#49 Space City Vintage
1/2, 339, 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
Monday: [12-8 PM], Tuesday: [12-8 PM], Wednesday: [12-8 PM], Thursday: [12-8 PM], Friday: [12-8 PM], Saturday: [12-8 PM], Sunday: [12-8 PM]
Space City Vintage in Los Angeles is seriously cool because it's more than just a vintage clothing store, even if that's what I heard it was. They curate an awesome selection of pieces from different decades, think denim that actually looks like denim, band tees that tell stories, and totally unique finds that'll take you straight back to the 60s or even Y2K. It's not just about clothes though, there's records too, plus they'll sometimes do live music and hardcore shows in the location. Also, they sometimes have tattoo artists and other cool vendors! It's a totally vibrant experience.
People seem to really dig the vibe at Space City Vintage and how helpful the staff is, who are super friendly, they've got a good rep it seems. A lot of people also mention the selection of vintage stuff, particularly the band tees and the eighties stuff - which I know a lot of people like. I heard the prices are actually pretty good, and that it's not too hard to come across unique things, which is always a bonus. Free events, live music, records, and tattoos contribute to it being pretty cool. I saw a review though that said somethings are overpriced, especially if they're damaged, that's a bummer. Also, I heard it can get super hot in there during the summer as they lack AC.

#50 DXL Big + Tall

Monday: [10 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [12-6 PM]
DXL Big + Tall in Sacramento seems to be a pretty good option if you're a larger or taller guy who needs clothes. It looks like they have a solid selection, from everyday stuff to fancier attire for weddings and such. Name brands can be hard to come by in bigger sizes, so I imagine it’s great that DXL offers a wide variety of name brand coats.
Apparently, the customer service is generally really good; People rave about the staff being friendly, helpful, and not at all pushy, and some even say that DXL's the only place in town that consistently carries clothes in their size. Some folks even had help putting outfits together! There are a few complaints about pricing being high and, yikes, someone mentioned feeling ignored, which isn't good. I guess it depends on who's working that day, right?

#51 Sui Generis Designer Consignment

Monday: [11 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [12-6 PM], Wednesday: [12-6 PM], Thursday: [12-6 PM], Friday: [11 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-5 PM]
Sui Generis Designer Consignment in San Francisco is a total gem if you're hunting for pre-loved designer goodies for women and men, I heard. They carry a really nice array of things from labels I actually know, not to mention, those vintage finds you just don’t see anywhere else. It’s a little like a community co-op but, you know, with luxury fashion. Is it possible that it's the best consignment shop ever?
What I’ve seen people say is selection-wise, Sui Generis is next level; it's the kind of place where you actually find those unique, high-quality pieces you keep forever, it appears. The people who work there, particularly Greg and Yitka, are apparently great at what they do in terms of being helpful and making the experience worthwhile, which sounds awesome because sometimes sales people are a total drag. They seem to be able to curate things to different people's tastes, and I believe someone called it the "best men's shop in Northern California," but perhaps it was "best women's consignment store in SF!" You can find something amazing that’s also reasonably priced. Though, I see where some people had issues with customer service and pricing issues. A handful of people implied that they felt browsing wasn't welcome, which could be a turn off.

#52 Nisha's Sarees - Bridal Store

Monday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [Closed], Wednesday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10:30 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [10:30 AM-6 PM]
Nisha's Sarees, located nearby in Sacramento, is really popular if you're looking for Indian bridal wear or traditional clothes, though. They've got so many beautiful sarees, lehengas, and salwar kameez for everyone, along with all the jewelry and accessories you could want to complete the look, but I can't say that the displays are the most up-to-date.
Honestly, a bunch of people have said really great things about the customer service; turns out Nisha and her husband are super friendly, though my friend said her stitching job wasn't the best. Customers seemed to love the selection, especially because there were tons of sizes and they can work with a budget; I know someone who found a great dress for an Indian wedding even though she waited until the last minute. A lot of people also mentioned the alterations are pretty fast and that they are good with custom orders, which can be such a lifesaver since finding the perfect fit can be a challenge, even if its not always perfect! I'm told some people can find exactly what they were looking for and the price range is great; if you want a big selection, this store is worth looking at.

Hot Topic is definitely a place where you can find some unique items, especially if you're into pop culture, anime, or music. You'll probably spot a bunch of band tees along with collectibles that you didn't even know you needed in your life. The Sacramento store is a bit of a treasure trove with Loungefly bags, cool jewelry that includes insect themes (which is honestly pretty interesting), and merchandise from all sorts of TV shows, its got a little something for everyone, but most of its stock is for the alternative crowd.
It's a good spot to snag gifts for people, especially if you know their fandoms because I heard the staff were so attentive to their customers. If you’re lucky, you might stumble upon some awesome sales or deals that make it easier to justify getting that tenth Funko Pop. Plus the employees are ready to help out, even if the checkout area is a little awkward as some of the reviews pointed out. So, despite some minor hiccups they may have, it remains a solid choice if you are looking for unique merchandise.

Big 5 Sporting Goods in Los Angeles is definitely an option when you're trying to find both sportswear and gear for outside. They carry a pretty big range, from activewear and shoes to stuff you can throw on when it gets cold for men, women, and kids. You can get tennis rackets, tents, fishing poles, pretty much anything that will help you get active and enjoy the outdoors. So, if you've been searching "clothing store near me in Los Angeles" and realizing you also need a new pair of hiking boots, maybe give Big 5 a shot.
I've been hearing really good things about the staff at that location and what people are saying are things, for example, their prices are great, mostly when it comes to things such as shoes. The convenience factor seems huge, as well, from what I can see, between the parking situation and them generally having a good stock of different items; I think it's pretty awesome that they went out of their way and even found a specific thing. Some people have mentioned issues with inventory sometimes being off or the customer service not always being A+, but I'd say that it is important to note that a lot more reviews were positive.

Shiekh is a shoe store in Sacramento that’s always popping up on my radar, largely cause I'm noticing their styles are really on-trend, particularly when it comes to footwear and a really good assortment of apparel. The brands they carry are pretty broad, there's a lots of Nike, Jordan, and Adidas, so it really does seem to reach a pretty large demo. What's really cool is how well known they are for sneakers; I feel like that's where all the shoe people go.
Apparently, they're doing something right because I am hearing folks rave about their customer service, too; Alex, Pablo, and Kris are names I keep seeing over and over. People say they are helpful and nice and know their stuff. Many of the customers talk about how easy it is to exchange stuff or how nice the staff is for letting them try on shoes to get the right fit, or just going out of their way to help. I hear their prices are reasonable and customers are happy with the deals they offer, and people are having good experiences with online orders/store pick up. It seems every store should take note of the reviews.

Athleta in San Francisco has a pretty decent selection of women's activewear. You know, stuff for running, yoga, even swimwear, plus the usual leggings, tops, and hoodies, plus jeans. From what I've heard, the store itself is laid out nicely, super spacious, and they seem to focus on clothes that are comfy, last, and look good whether you're actually working out or just, you know, running errands. A coworker said if she could only shop one brand, it would be Athleta and that it is the most comfortable and stylish stuff ever. I guess it could be the place to check out if you're needing some gear.
People keep mentioning that the staff is really helpful and chill. Apparently, they know their stuff and are happy to help you hunt for the right fit, which is always a plus because, personally, online shopping can be such a headache, especially trying to get the right sizes. I also noticed some reviewers mentioned the store is clean and spacious and they occasionally have free workouts, which seems cool. Lots of people seem to think the clothes are good quality and comfortable, and the return policy sounds like it makes shopping there pretty risk-free.

Old Navy's a pretty reliable place for clothes, I hear it's got a ton of options for everyone in the family. They always have deals going on. It sounds like a go-to for basics, jeans and t-shirts and what not, and seasonal stuff too. Plus, I heard they do carry plus sizes which is cool, and it's always nice to have more inclusive options.
I've read that people really like how clean the stores are, and the people working there are generally helpful, and returns are easy peasy. I think someone mentioned finding great discounts on the clearance rack, which you know I will need to check out. It does seem to vary. Sometimes sizes are limited in-store, and I bet the lines get crazy long, because they don't seem to have enough cashiers. I do appreciate a good rewards program, so points for that.

Filson, that place in San Francisco, right? Anyway, it’s a store nearby that sells, you know, super-durable clothes, bags, and jackets; all with this kinda old-school vibe. They're known for stuff that lasts and doesn't go out of style, if that makes sense, because who wants to buy something that's gonna fall apart in six months? You can find pretty much anything there from wool sweaters to briefcases to flannel shirts; all made with attention to detail. I guess the appeal is that the clothes are investment pieces, practical but still stylish in that classic American way...appealing to people who want something well-made and not something that's going to fall apart after a few washes.
What I have heard is that the customer service is pretty solid and the staff really know their stuff; plus they are friendly, a really good combination. I always find that a big plus. People give shout-outs to employees by name often – like Gareth, Jay, John, Kiki, and Gustavo – always going that extra mile, I think. It sounds like the atmosphere's quite welcoming, with some people even comparing the feeling to family, with staff who just seem to *get* the products. I saw where someone mentioned free refreshments, and they even host events, which is a nice perk. Customer service is frequently brought up in reviews, which is always a good sign when you're deciding where to spend your money; plus they have a large catalogue available if you need to do special orders, that way you can get exactly what you are looking for. Not everyone's had the perfect experience, but what store is perfect? Still, it's nice to see that so many find the staff welcoming and helpful, and with a large selection, you'll more than likely find what you are looking for and maybe even something you didn't know you needed.

#71 Suitsupply San Jose
333 Santana Row Space 1020, San Jose, CA 95128
Monday: [11 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [11 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [11 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [11 AM-8 PM], Friday: [11 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-7 PM]
Suitsupply in San Jose is a place that appears to specialize in men's suiting. You can find ready-to-wear stuff, but from what I understand they do custom, too, and they have shirts, blazers, all that jazz. I think they're going for a modern vibe with fair prices...and they do tailoring, so I guess that's convenient, right?
What I've read online indicates some customers really seem to dig it, mostly because of the staff. It seems like Anthony, Julian, Ryan, Jonathan, Nafi, Farhan, Flora, Markel, Chulwubuike, Janelle, Kelly, and Reza all get shout-outs for being super helpful and really knowing their stuff. People talk about them being patient, giving good style advice, finding the right fit fast – even, get this, driving around to deliver suits, I guess Mila drove to San Francisco to bring a customer a suit. There were a couple complaints, though, there was a couple people who waited a long time without an appointment and I saw that a few people had issues with tailoring. Overall, it looks like they deliver great customer service.

#72 De Row & Sharma

De Row & Sharma is apparently a go-to spot in Sacramento if you're hunting for men's formal wear; I've heard nothing but good things. They've got a huge selection, from suits to shoes to accessories, and seemingly at prices that won't break the bank. It's the customer service and quality that seems to really set them apart from other mens' clothing stores.
People are always raving about the service and how much variety they have; you could find anything from a houndstooth jacket to a wedding suit there. The prices are reasonable, and the quality's good enough to last, or so I’ve been told, which is always a plus over bigger chains. Mr. Sharma, the owner, gets lots of praise for his tailoring skills, quick turnaround on alterations, and how friendly he is to people who walk through the door, he’s able to find suits that fit people well no matter their size. Though, I did hear one person complain somewhere about the stitching being a little...off and crooked but they’re an outlier, I guess.

#73 Zumiez
2200 Eastridge Mall Suite 245, San Jose, CA 95122
Monday: [10 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-8 PM], Friday: [10 AM-9 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-9 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-7 PM]
Zumiez in San Jose is pretty good if you're trying to find some clothes that's a little bit different, I guess, especially if you are into anime or skating. They definitely have a solid selection, from skateboards themselves to anime shirts you won't see everywhere else. It seems instead of going for the typical, mass-produced anime stuff, that they pick more unique designs and work with smaller artists which is kinda cool. It's definately a good choice if that's your style.
What's nice, a lot of folks have said that the staff there are really helpful, you know, especially if you're clueless about skateboards and need help with a setup (I'm not, but if I were, I'd appreciate that). It sounds generally like they have a pretty laid-back vibe, and some people say they don't give off that judgmental energy some stores do. I did see a few complaints that some staff members could do with being a bit more professional (someone mentioned a specific incident with a manager and how they treated one patron), but for the most part, people seem happy with the customer service, so I think it can be a good place to go.

#74 Ace Uniforms
633 16th St, San Diego, CA 92101
Monday: [9 AM-5:30 PM], Tuesday: [9 AM-5:30 PM], Wednesday: [9 AM-5:30 PM], Thursday: [9 AM-5:30 PM], Friday: [9 AM-5:30 PM], Saturday: [9:30 AM-3 PM], Sunday: [Closed]
Ace Uniforms in San Diego is, as far as I can tell, a pretty solid place to find professional clothing for a bunch of different careers. From what I’ve read, they definitely seem to cater to people in law enforcement, emergency services, and the medical field, but really anyone needing that kind of specific attire. They've got everything, they claim, from scrubs and lab coats to proper police uniforms and safety vests. Seriously, they're trying to be a one-stop shop for professionals who need this kind of stuff.
It appears that people really rave about the customer service, a lot of customers had good things to say. There's specific employees that are mentioned, like Jessica, Darlene, Katia, and Marielisa; clients have noted that they went the extra mile to help them out which is refreshing. The tailoring department is also pretty well regarded; people seem impressed with how quickly they get things done while still paying attention to detail. I did see a few comments about long wait times, especially during checkout, and some order errors, but overall, people seemed happy with their experience and I did see a couple mentions of really high tailoring prices. Honestly, sounds like a mixed bag, but leaning toward good.

#75 Vuori
2090 Union St, San Francisco, CA 94123
Monday: [10 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [11 AM-6 PM]
Vuori is a San Francisco athleisure destination; they've got a whole collection of stuff that's supposed to be both comfy and stylish, which is a vibe I can get behind. Apparently, they sell these shirts, shorts, leggings, sports bras, and joggers that people wear for workouts, when they're out hiking, and then just, you know, to live their lives. If you're trying to find nice activewear, people are saying to check out Vuori's Union Street spot and grab stuff in nice fabrics.
Honestly, I've heard that people really love the quality, how comfortable their clothes are, and mostly importantly the fit is great, and the stuff doesn't fall apart after washing. I guess the style is really current; the designs are useful with great pockets. Word on the street is the staff is super helpful, with certain folks like Claire, Gerald, Gaby, and Richard, that have really helped with exchanges and sizing things out; its nice to hear. However, its also been said that sizing when ordering online can be a little confusing sometimes or that people that visited in person found the hours frustrating. I think I also heard that the old place was better than the current place.

#76 Renaissance Fine Consignment
2362 Fair Oaks Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95825
Renaissance Fine Consignment, it’s that Sacramento store everyone talks about for scoring designer clothes without, ya know, completely demolishing your bank account. They definitely lean towards classic stuff—think Armani, Max Mara, maybe even Bottega Veneta if you get lucky—rather than what's trending on Instagram this week. It sounds a bit "mom style," but high-quality fabric and cuts are always in style, wouldn't you agree? Honestly, a blazer that lasts forever is way more appealing than some fast fashion piece I'll hate next season.
The customer service seems to be consistently praised by shoppers, but there are some who seem to have problems. From what I hear, the staff is friendly and helpful, and people appreciate how clean and organized the place is. They're able to actually find things, which is half the battle sometimes! It's good to know there's a place where you can find good customer service these days. Some people have been shopping there for years and rave about the deals, and honestly, longevity speaks volumes. While a few folks thought the prices were too high for secondhand items, and that customer service could be inconsistent at times, it sounds like Renaissance is still the go-to spot for finding luxury fashion in Sacramento.

#77 Al's Attire

Monday: [12-6 PM], Tuesday: [12-6 PM], Wednesday: [12-6 PM], Thursday: [12-7 PM], Friday: [12-7 PM], Saturday: [12-7 PM], Sunday: [12-6 PM]
Al's Attire in San Francisco is a pretty cool store, you know? It's not your average place with racks of mass-produced stuff; everything is handmade, giving off a really distinct vintage feel. They're super good at custom stuff, especially if you're after something unique like a suit, jacket, or especially shoes. I've heard they only use really great materials, but it also seems that those materials are hard to obtain and it might lead to a longer wait than expected. They also do repairs and restoring leather goods, which is awesome if you have a beloved old jacket that needs some TLC.
Honestly, from what I hear, people seem to be very into the whole bespoke experience at Al's. Apparently the staff is really welcoming, and they pay attention to detail. A lot of people enjoy the store's vibe, the dog who hangs out there, and the personalized attention you get. But I have heard some people saying that getting your clothes back can sometimes be an issue, and I understand why they would be upset about that; you can't please everyone.

Soma is that lingerie store I keep hearing about around here, it's somewhere in Sacramento. Their whole deal is comfy and cute undies and pajamas for women, so it's not a bad premise at all. From what I've gathered, you can get bras, panties, all that jazz. Seems convenient when you just need a few things to round out your wardrobe.
Honestly, people seem to really dig Soma, and a few folks online have said some extremely nice things. You know, saying a bra fitting actually changed their life? Talk about high praise. Apparently the staff is super helpful, especially with bra fittings, and that the quality of their bras is actually really good (a couple of people said they love going there specifically for bra fittings). Of course you can't please all the people, but, that said, a couple of people mentioned some problems with sizing or iffy customer service on certain days. Overall, though, it seems like Soma is a solid option if you're looking for some new lingerie, if you are ever in that area.

Carter's in Sacramento, you know, it's a pretty solid option when you need to grab something for the kiddos. Plenty of people I know swear by them, and for good reason; they have a huge selection and they're almost always running some sort of sale. It's convenient, especially if you need to find, I don't know, like matching outfits for siblings, or just want something cute without completely breaking the bank.
Honestly, what I've been hearing is that the customer service is genuinely great. It's nice when the staff is actually helpful, right? What's great is that I keep hearing about are their clearance racks. You can score some seriously good deals, and they have an online store, which is a huge plus if you can't always find what you need in-store. I hear that they can sometimes be low on certain sizes, or the selection for boys isn't always the best, and I saw something, somewhere, about them being closed down at one point. Hopefully those things are taken care of or aren't the case anymore.

Buckle's a pretty popular store around here in Sacramento; they're known for having good-looking, well-made stuff. What really stands out is their selection of clothing, you know, jeans, tops, accessories, the usual. It is a fact that they are particularly known for their jeans, so it's a good place to start if you need the perfect pair of jeans.
Customers seem to really appreciate the customer service there, which is nice to hear. A lot of the reviews mentioned staff being super helpful and friendly, with certain employees getting shout-outs, it's pretty cute. People like James, Samantha, Gabby, Devon, and Tony have all been noticed for going above and beyond. I think it's cool that people notice when employees are good to them; I also see people were happy with their free alterations service. A minority of customers weren't so pleased, so it depends who you talk to.

LiBush International Connection Africa, which is somewhere in Sacramento, seems to be a really interesting shop specializing in African-inspired stuff. Word on the street is they've got a pretty big selection, going beyond your typical souvenirs; think clothing, cool accessories, plus handmade art and even skincare products, all with an African vibe. Honestly, sounds like a spot that can cover all your bases if you're into that culture or appreciate unique craftsmanship.
I've read a lot about how people are super impressed with the authenticity and, apparently, the fact that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Many folks really dig that the shop does a great job of showing off the rich African heritage through what they sell. I heard the staff are incredibly helpful, which always makes a difference, especially for skincare. It looks like people go crazy for the raw shea butter and scented oils, and of course the unique clothing and art. There *was* one comment I saw said they wished there were more options for men, and a few grumbled about some prices being a little steep; I'm not too surprised.

Downtown LA's H&M is a solid option if you're looking to revamp your wardrobe without emptying your bank account. They've got everything from shoes to makeup, with decent selection for men, women, and kids. Supposedly this store’s a flagship location, and you can find things there other H&Ms don't carry, which is definitely a plus. Quality, eh, it’s not going to last forever, but it's good enough for a few seasons.
Apparently, what makes this H&M stand out is how tidy it is, especially since some locations can be... chaotic, to say the least. People seem happy with the helpful staff and the sales, which is always a draw. I mean, who doesn't love a good deal. Also, if you’re a musician needing all-black everything last minute, this is your spot, apparently.

I've heard the Urban Outfitters in Sacramento has pretty cool stuff, you know? They have clothes, obviously, but there's also home goods, and I think some of the reviews mentioned vinyls and even Polaroid cameras; talk about a throwback! It seems it's a good place to get trendy things. If you're looking for something a little different from the usual mall stores, this may be an option to look at.
Apparently, the staff there are super helpful, which, let's be honest, is always a plus. I saw one review where someone even got personal help from the manager; what's not to love? Lots of people have mentioned the store's aesthetic, too; they say it's clean, and I have read people are impressed at how often they get new stuff in. The prices can be steep, though, and I heard selection in certain categories may need more consideration, but overall, it's sounding pretty good. I think it's worth checking out if you're in the area.

Tribal Streetwear has been around forever, since '89, and they’re a San Diego staple for streetwear. You can find all sorts of stuff there, from hoodies and tees to even things such as spray paint, plus your typical wallets, keychains, and skateboards. I heard they throw art events that supports the 619, and they keep it real.
Honestly, from what I'm seeing, the reviews are generally super positive, lots of folks saying the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and the customer service is great. People really dig that it's a local brand that's been going strong for decades; some customers have been buying from them since the 90s, which is wild. The designs are unique, and they really give off a community feel. Also, there are people complimenting their shipping; it's fast, and they include stickers which is dope. Though, a couple people have reported issues with online orders, saying it took forever to ship and the communication wasn't good. Also, a couple shirts had off-center prints or the colors faded quickly, which isn't great, especially since the shirts are pricey.

UpChoose in San Francisco is doing this super cool thing with baby clothes; they're offering a rental service that's subscription-based, which is neat. Parents can snag these organic cotton clothing sets in all sorts of sizes and styles for a reasonable cost, and then when your little one inevitably grows out of them, just swap 'em for the next size up. It's a really neat sustainable model that cuts down on waste plus it's easy on the wallet. If you’re on the hunt for sustainable kid's stuff, UpChoose is def worth a look.
Honestly, I’ve read a ton of reviews, and people rave about how easy UpChoose makes their lives with amazing organic cotton clothing, and because they care for sustainability. Parents are seriously digging that they aren’t constantly buying new clothes or stressing about what to do with the old ones, its so time consuming to keep shopping and reselling; plus the CEO is very responsive. The clothing is adorable and well made, and they customize set options. I'm seeing a lot of mentions about the customer service, too; it sounds like the team is really quick to respond and pays attention to everyone, I heard they are pioneers of sustainable clothing. There have been a couple of snags regarding pricing, the refunds aren’t always as expected, and some have run into the occasional quality issue, it's a pre-loved set, things happen. Ultimately, I hear more good than bad.

Upper Playground, nestled in San Francisco's Lower Haight, looks to be more than just a clothing store. I've heard their a gallery of wearable art, showcasing the designs of local talents and international artists. They've got graphic tees, hoodies, the whole shebang and it sounds so cool. Word is, the designs draw inspo from the city's vibrant street art scene, offering something you won't find just anywhere.
People seem to really dig Upper Playground's dedication to showcasing local artists. Reviewers online always mention the friendly staff who go above and beyond, which is always a bonus. Sure, some folks have had concerns over the t-shirt quality or sizing inconsistencies, but those comments seem to be pretty rare. It sounds like the unique designs, plus the chance to take home a genuine piece of San Francisco, make it well worth checking out.

Men's Wearhouse has a location in San Francisco and I believe I saw it's a place where guys can snag suits, shirts, and tuxedos to either buy or rent. They seem to have a pretty good selection too, plus tailoring, which is clutch because lets be real, off-the-rack never truly fits anyone perfectly. Apparently it may have previously been a bank, or so the reviews say - something about a vault still being in the building.
From what I’ve been reading, lots of folks rave about how awesome the customer service is; shout out to Macy, Luis, Carlos, Nancy, KC, Charles, Jade, and Jacob who kept being mentioned in the reviews. People really appreciate the extra effort they put in to help you find the right fit and make you feel good about your look. Some reviewers also said the tailoring is quick and well done, which is always good to hear. However, I read some reports about service being spotty at times and the place being disorganized and long waits. Some people had issues with the prices. Still, the reviews leaning towards the positive are making it sound like they can really hook you up and get you looking sharp.

Kools in Los Angeles is definitely a store to check out, especially if your aesthetic leans toward retro. It's got a really cool mix of rockabilly style meeting that sharp Japanese street fashion, plus a little hot rod edge thrown in there, too. You'll find a bunch of clothes and accessories that totally give off those 50s and 60s vibes, but with a modern, Japanese twist that makes everything feel super unique. I heard people go crazy over their shirts, vintage-inspired dresses, and the cool hats. Also, I'm told they have wallets and even multitools that are totally original; they're pretty sweet.
What's really cool is that a lot of folks rave about how fun and different the store is. People really love the rockabilly and vintage vibe that's hard to find elsewhere. The employees are super friendly, too, and really go out of their way to help you out. The music and whole atmosphere are said to be great. I saw one review that was a little negative about one employee suspecting the customer of shop lifting, and there was another review about the sizes being too small. Overall, though, it sounds like a good shop with friendly staff, a unique selection of clothes, and a fun vibe.

The Urban Outfitters in San Francisco, it's definitely a shopping experience. It's more than just a store because they carry a bunch of stuff, ranging from the clothes and shoes you would expect, but also home decor, books, and even vinyl records! Word on the street is that the store generally appeals to a younger crowd that are really into creative fashion, but honestly, anybody can find something they’ll appreciate there, regardless. If you need an instagrammable picture location this is also it.
A lot of shoppers seem to really dig the shop's vibe, how big the selection is, and those little gifts that you can find everywhere. Plus, the multi-level thing is pretty cool and makes it fun to look around, especially when you're hunting for deals in the sale section; you might even stumble upon some exclusive finds! I've read some reviews that highlight the staff who are super friendly and helpful, however; it's also true that you may run into complaints about prices being a bit high and sizes being off. Overall the staff seems pretty friendly and helpful; a lot of reviews note that but remember this is a retail store in the middle of a city so that's also going to vary!

DXL Big + Tall in San Jose is a lifesaver if you're a guy who has trouble finding clothes that actually fit right off the rack, they really carry stuff up to 9XL which is awesome. It’s great that they have both casual and formal stuff; I guess you can find suits, dress shirts, pants, and shoes that won't make you feel squeezed. You know, a lot of people say it's *the* place to go in San Jose if you need larger sizes, and it sounds like they have more stylish options than you'd normally find at, say, Macy's or something. The thing is, I keep hearing that the prices are higher, but supposedly you're paying for quality and a good fit, which, let's be real, is worth something when nothing else fits!
From what I've read, customer service seems to be a real highlight at DXL. Folks consistently talk about how friendly and helpful the staff are, which is always a plus, especially when dealing with sizing issues. I heard a story where an employee helped someone pick out an outfit for a function and he got compliments all night. Besides that, the selection sounds pretty extensive, I hear it ranges from laid-back stuff to suits, and even Hawaiian shirts, which can be fun, that's what folks appreciate as it's so convenient to finally find clothes that don't pinch or pull, especially when they've been striking out everywhere else. I saw something on the other hand that prices are higher which is understandable for a place specializing in plus sizes, but that the sales and coupons are extremely restrictive.

Tuxedo Fashions seems to be the place in San Jose for any formal wear needs, if you're looking to rent or buy. They've got a ton of tuxedos and suits for weddings, or, you know, that random black-tie event that pops up. You can expect them to measure you, and they do alterations to make sure everything fits perfectly, so that's pretty cool.
People seem to be really happy with the customer service at Tuxedo Fashions, plus they have a wide range of selection. Bart, Patrick, Israel, and Jorge, are often mentioned in reviews, and customers say they are super helpful and know their stuff. Some people said they had issues with being unorganized or having a bad encounter with the owner, which sounds like a drag, since customer service can make or break a place. Still, it sounds like most folks have a positive experience, especially because of their staff and how well they can help with fitting and styling a look.

Alright, dd's DISCOUNTS is a clothing store located in San Diego and, honestly, it seems to have pretty good deals if you can hunt around a little bit. I heard the stock is pretty diverse, with stuff for adults and kids, shoes, accessories, plus some things for the house, too. I read that you can find brands that you would normally find in major department stores at lower prices, which, if true, is a bonus for people looking for more budget-friendly options.
Sometimes, it's a hit or miss but people rave about getting a nice deal, especially on shoes and purses, and you can find trendy clothes if you're lucky. Some reviews say the employees are friendly and helpful, which honestly makes the experience so much better. But I also read that other people weren't happy and found the store unorganized or messy, and complained about long lines and some customer service issues, I hope they work on the issues, it is still sounds like a fun place to search for good deals.

Moon Zoom, it's a vintage clothing store supposedly located in San Jose, and from what I've heard, it’s kind of a big deal. I'm told that it carries a wide assortment of older fashions, from flapper dresses to neon windbreakers; something for every type of person. The rumor is it’s organized by decade, which is a smart move, I guess making it easier to find, say, the perfect bell-bottoms. Apparently, they also mix true vintage pieces with more modern things that have a "costume" kind of vibe, if that's your thing.
People seem to really dig Moon Zoom if the reviews are to be believed. Customers have mentioned that the range of choice is astounding and the shop does a good job of arranging items and presenting the product in a neat, well organized manner. A lot of the positive feedback mentions fair prices and praise how knowledgeable the staff are, especially a guy called Chase, who some say has a real passion for the vintage scene. They're appreciated for their ability to help customers style outfits, whether it's for themed parties or just wanting to stand out from the crowd. I did see some grumbling about it getting crowded, cleanliness, and accessibility challenges, but generally, most seem to think it’s a treasure trove for anyone interested in vintage clothing.

You can find some pretty great deals on name-brand stuff, which is a total win if you're trying to save some coin, especially if you need something ASAP. I will say some people think the selection is somewhat limited and can be a hot mess to navigate through but other people think that this store is a good way to find some trendy clothing.
A lot of people rave about the reasonable prices and the potential to snag high-quality pieces, that store really does have all that you need. And, hey, who doesn't appreciate friendly staff? Apparently, this locations got a reputation for that, along with keeping the place nice and tidy and getting you through checkout speedy. Plus, it sounds as if they have a good stock and good collection of both mens and womens, including some unique finds and known brands that are frequently mentioned. If only they could figure out the register situation, from what I read, a lack of staff can often lead to long wait times, but it's a Marshall's, and they may work as fast as they can.

SUAY sounds really cool; they're doing amazing things with recycled materials in LA. I heard they’re committed to sustainability, plus they’re all about community. Instead of letting old fabrics go to waste, they turn them into awesome clothes and home goods, like those colorful quilts I saw online, a body pillow that is gorgeous, or offer services such as clothing repairs and dye baths. You can even give your old clothes for them to use or you can shop the free rack; it really seems like a cool spot to support an ethical company that cares, you know?
From what I read, people are really happy with SUAY and what they stand for, that they are creating something ethical. I saw so many comments praising the quality of their stuff and how friendly the people who work there are. I heard that the dye baths are a super cool way to refresh your wardrobe, and it’s good knowing that they're also paying workers fair wages; they are doing a great job saving materials from the landfills. I did notice a few people mentioning communication problems, or dye orders taking a while, or there was an occasion for damage to clothes during the process, and high prices. And, someone said that they wanted to charge them for donating clothes, or a price quote was way too high. However, the majority of reviews were overwhelmingly positive; people were really happy with the durable upcycled items and thought it was really important to support a business that's focused on reducing textile waste.

From what I've heard, they've got a reputation for unique, beautiful traditional garments, jewelry and accessories - basically, all the things if you're looking for something authentic and really well done, though sometimes it's possible to find similar items elsewhere for less.
Word on the street is that their customer service is pretty good. I've seen reviews mentioning the owner goes the extra mile, which can make a big difference, you know? People seem especially thrilled with the shipping speed and that it's free – that alone's a huge win, isn't it? There are also a lot of folks talking about custom orders, which makes sense if you want something specific for, maybe, an event coming up soon. Some customers have had issues with the exchange policy as it exists, which makes me feel a bit worried, and there are occasional reports of poor service. But the overall vibe is very positive with repeat customers and the majority of shoppers saying they'd recommend it for traditional Afghan attire. I'm getting the impression that overall they have the most beautiful designs with high quality in reasonable prices.

Monday: [Open 24 hours], Tuesday: [Open 24 hours], Wednesday: [Open 24 hours], Thursday: [Open 24 hours], Friday: [Open 24 hours], Saturday: [Closed], Sunday: [Open 24 hours]
Short Story offers a pretty cool subscription box service, specifically tailored to petite women who have struggled to find clothes that fit well off the rack. They curate styles based on your measurements and preferences, which is awesome, and send a selection of clothes right to your door, making the whole shopping thing way easier. I think that it's one of the best places to shop for petite clothing in San Francisco. They focus on personal styling for smaller women, because you know how it is, it's hard to find clothes that both fit and are still fashionable when you're petite.
Lots of people have mentioned loving how accurate the sizing is and the quality of the clothes they've been receiving, which is definitely a plus. The personalized styling aspect seems to be a hit, with people discovering new styles they might not normally consider. Plus, the customer service seems to be great about responding to feedback, which is something that I value. Although the price of the items can be on the pricier side, its a good deal that you get what you pay for.

It seems everyone raves about the staff, especially people, such as, Sandy, Susie, Shane, and Michael. I guess they really go above and beyond when it comes to styling advice and even hunting down sizes if they don't have them right there. A bunch of people have mentioned how easy it is to return stuff you bought online, which is always a plus, because who wants to deal with shipping things back? The clothes may cost more, but the positive vibes I get is they are worth it, and that the store itself is nicely kept.

Marine Layer seems to be a San Francisco clothing store that leans into that effortlessly cool California vibe, you know? From what I gather, they specialize in really soft, comfy basics, with some trendier pieces sprinkled in. People rave about their selection of tees, shorts, and dresses, plus they've got hoodies and pants. They've been known to carry things that are a little quirky, I have heard about palm tree printed pants and, apparently, there's even a mystery t-shirt vending machine there.
The reviews online are mostly positive; I think it must be because the staff are always so helpful. Customers consistently mention how friendly they are and how easy they make exchanges and returns, which is always a plus. I've also read that folks love how soft and high-quality the clothes are, and the atmosphere sounds pretty great—some locations have shuffleboard, or even seating areas with free coffee. Journeys in Sacramento has a decent selection for finding a specific type of shoe if you're looking for trendy brands. You can typically find all sorts of stuff like Van's, Converse, Doc Martens, and even Birkenstocks, plus Uggs, Puma, and Crocs; honestly, they do carry a lot of shoe types, which can be convenient. They also carry clothing, backpacks, and socks if you need any of that.
People seem to respond positively to Journeys, especially when it comes to their selection of shoes, and it sounds like they keep a clean store. A number of reviews point out that they have a great variety of Converse and Uggs, which is cool if that's your vibe. There's also multiple mentions about good customer service and staff who are friendly and attentive. I saw a review where a customer praised a store manager who made calls to have shoes shipped that weren't in stock; that's a solid move. Macy's in Union Square is basically a San Francisco landmark, this is an understatement, it is really quite something, they truly have everything you could ever possibly need, if you think about it, and even things you probably didn't know you needed, to be honest. This place is huge, I mean multi-level huge, they're talking apparel for everybody, home goods, and those little extras, sometimes that's the best part, too. I'm talking shoes, jewelry, makeup and fragrances, its a very nice selection. And word on the street is, you can sometimes score amazing deals in their clearance sections -- which can actually be a potential answer to the question if you're asking yourself "is there a clothing store near me in San Francisco"? Also, Cheesecake Factory is on the roof, I believe.
So many people rave about Macy's, and rightly so; the selection is vast, they're not wrong, and the staff is supposedly super helpful. A little birdy told me that the view from the upper floors, especially from Cheesecake Factory, is seriously amazing, very spectacular. You can find good brands at good prices if you're searching for deals! Plus, the general vibe during the holidays? Festive AF. It seems though, that some reviewers have mentioned cleanliness issues and longer than preferred wait times, and displays that feel a little disorganized, I'm assuming. Oh! I should also mention that escalators, if it is relevant, are often out of order in the store, I think.

It’s supposed to be *the* flagship store, which means it has a special feature where you can customize what you buy right there – think tailoring or adding patches, which is fun. Dover Street Market in downtown LA's Arts District isn't just a shop; it's a whole experience, right? They've got this killer curated selection of high-end brands and cool streetwear; I'm talking Balenciaga, Comme des Garçons, the whole shebang. Honestly, people seem to rave about the vibe there. Plenty of reviewers mention the staff being super friendly and helpful, that's always a bonus, specifically shouting out employees who helped put together outfits. Then there's the Rose Bakery inside, which gets crazy good reviews for its pastries, and you know I love a good bakery. I guess some people had issues with parking and maybe long waits during sales, plus some mention that the staff can be a bit pushy, and there’s inconsistencies with online orders. And while their selection is usually geared towards teenagers and people in their early twenties, they do have some records and books. They also stock like, those small apartment kinda home decor things; but, it is more expensive than other streetwear stores.
The staff seems like they’re really good, a lot of reviewers mentioned how helpful and nice they were, which is so important. Many reviews complimented the atmosphere; some even mentioned a photo booth which is a fun, quirky thing. It’s awesome hearing that the store is well-organized, particularly that sale section, but I'm not sure why reviewers are so concerned with that stuff. It’s a well-loved shop, there’s many loyal patrons.

Zumiez in Sacramento is definitely a spot when you're trying to find clothes that scream skater style, or maybe something a little more hip-hop inspired; they have it all. Besides the apparel, it's a great place to build a custom skateboard. The graphic tees they have are super cool; they've got a lot of different styles to choose from, including Vans and DC shoes.
Honestly, the customer service is what makes the Zumiez in Sacramento stand out; they're always on top of it and eager to help you out. Apparently Jhonny is a wizard when it comes to custom skateboards, plus I’ve heard Lucca and Ruben are amazing at giving fashion advice, so that's great. I think it's really cool they add handwritten notes to their online orders - that personal touch is super thoughtful, although it sucks that some people have had issues with the hours or the availability of specific items. Plus, they have vintage stuff which, admittedly, can be hit or miss, I hear. They’ve got loads of things available; from clothes and shoes to accessories and even outerwear; both for men and women. A bunch of people mentioned the Hayes Valley location is pretty convenient, and I saw one person mention that they organize the merchandise by color, which is honestly amazing for a quick browse.
Loads of people rave that it’s a great spot for finding interesting, well-made clothes at prices that don’t make your wallet cry. The staff gets a lot of love too; apparently, they’re super helpful and not pushy, which is a win. I saw a lot of people call out that they appreciate the unique selection, that they can score locally made or vintage gems, and generally, the customer service has been exceptional. One person even said the store helped solidify San Francisco as their main source of clothes! You know, though, it sounds as if some of the clothes there can be a little overpriced.

Monday: [12-8 PM], Tuesday: [12-8 PM], Wednesday: [12-8 PM], Thursday: [12-8 PM], Friday: [12-8 PM], Saturday: [12-8 PM], Sunday: [12-8 PM]
Super7 sounds like a really neat place, and it's located somewhere in San Diego. It's stocked full of retro stuff, I think it's aimed at people who are fans of the 80s and 90s, I think. I'm gathering they have everything from action figures, you know, all the way to t-shirts, plus sweaters. You know, that kind of merch. I am guessing it's got a cool, nostalgic atmosphere since a ton of reviews mentioned those kind of vibes. I've heard it's total paradise for anyone who collects toys, so it makes me believe it could be a blast from the past for anyone interested in pop culture.
I get the impression that Super7 is a store people dig; since it seems many customers rave about the selection and that helpful, friendly staff. Apparently, they are real passionate. Folks go on about the cool, unique items--particularly these action figures and shirts with all these geeky themes. It seems the staff really knows what's up, too, and the positive reviewers seem to like having those geeky convos. There are negative reviews, there always are. Although some have complained about customer service, and others who are trying to get in contact regarding wholesale inquiries are just being ignored by the company. Hopefully that helps if you want to get more of an overview of the store.

Abercrombie & Fitch is a clothing retailer in Sacramento, it has a pretty big selection for both guys and girls, with a range of styles that seems pretty broad. You can usually find something trendy, or classic there. It's known for great basics.
What's cool is, people seem to rave about how helpful the employees are; they're apparently willing to go above and beyond if the store doesn't have what you need, which is always a win. The sales are also pretty awesome, with discounts going anywhere from alright to seriously amazing, plus the quality of the clothing is consistently called out as being soft and long-lasting. Although I saw a review where someone was mad the manager didn't accept their return even though they had the receipt, so there's that. Still, it sounds like Abercrombie is a solid spot for grabbing some new clothes.

Nike San Francisco, right by Union Square, is this massive, multi-story place where you can find basically anything Nike. Seriously, they have clothes, shoes, and sporting goods for everyone, men, women, and the kids. They’ve got sections dedicated to specific sports, always showing off the newest stuff, which can be fun if you're into athletic wear or just looking for a specific fit and style. Plus, the unique installations they have during seasonal events just create a very eye-catching experience.
People seem to really dig the size of the store too, it’s hard not to. The setup is pretty modern, and everything’s well organized with different floors for different things, making it easier to find what you're looking for. A lot of reviewers mention how helpful the staff is, which is always a bonus, and some people even had super specific shoutouts for employees who went above and beyond. And even though some people thought some things were kinda pricey or that certain items had a limited selection, many were more than happy that this location has a lot of the rarer items not always available in standard stores.

Nordstrom Rack in Sacramento has a pretty decent reputation if you're looking for a bargain. They have a pretty good collection of clothes, and I've heard they have some really cute sandals for cheap. I read from other people they have a pretty good shoe selection in general, plus, one of the main reasons that I want to go is that people say they carry a pretty wide range of sizes, and that plus size clothes are available.
Honestly, it seems like many people enjoy shopping there, they say it's clean and well-organized, which is always a plus. It's also good to know that express checkout can be convenient when you don't have that much stuff. People also praise the customer service in general, it's important to know that others say the store is excellent and staff is really helpful.

Out of the Closet on University Avenue has everything, from clothing to furniture, catering to men, women, and kids. They've got housewares, books, accessories, the whole shebang, and it's all donation-based, which is cool. I hear their setup is pretty organized, and people say the prices are hard to beat and some folks even find name-brand stuff or snag dollar-rack finds. If you're on the hunt for clothing stores in the area, this is a solid contender, and their prices are just thrift store prices, some say.
A lot of people rave about the staff; they're apparently super friendly and helpful, and the store itself is usually clean and tidy. I hear you can find some truly unique gems there, which is a plus. What's really great is that the money goes to AIDS charities and HIV prevention, which makes the store a pretty welcoming space. Of course, some folks had issues with the staff, claiming they were rude or closed early one time. Plus, it seems the dressing rooms aren't exactly top-notch; I understand that they're basically just curtains, so not very private, you know? Some complain that parking is a pain, too, and a few think the prices are higher than other thrift stores.

Crossroads Trading in San Francisco is a good spot if you're into hunting for used clothes that aren't, well, totally basic. It’s got that mix of vintage vibes, some designer pieces, and of course, the whole trendy-grungy aesthetic thing going on, too. You can get lucky and find stuff that's actually new there, which is a bonus. Seriously, they deal with men's, women's, and everyone else's clothing, shoes and accessories, so if you are into treasure hunts, it's a place where it's doable without breaking the bank.
What’s cool is that people seem to dig how organized it is, and that they got all these name-brand pieces and, maybe, even some designer stuff in the mix. It's the kind of place where you can find something unique and gently used, and at least the employees have been friendly, especially when people are trying to sell clothes. It's super convenient for unloading clothes for either cash or store credit, which is always a plus. It can be hit or miss, so maybe multiple trips are needed. However, you might experience inconsistent buying practices, rude staff and unclean dressing rooms.

Marshalls is this store in Sacramento that always seems to be on my radar, mainly because they don't break the bank. You can usually find a good range of stuff there, from clothes, shoes, and accessories covering basically everyone in your family. It's convenient, really, offering everything from home stuff to random kitchen gadgets, and even a few weird food finds, they might have exactly what you are looking for.
Honestly, people seem to enjoy Marshalls cause the quality seems pretty good especially when the prices are that reasonable and its easy to find what you need. I've heard people say they snag awesome deals on name-brand stuff, especially clothes and shoes. But maybe the managers aren't always as helpful or as responsive as they should be. And a lot of peeps comment about how friendly most of the staff are; which always makes shopping way more pleasant. I've heard that if you get a random idea of something you want online, it can pay to check there first since you might save some time and money.

Tuxedo Den in Sacramento comes highly recommended when you need to dress to impress, especially since formal wear is the name of their game. I heard they've got a decent selection of tuxedos and suits perfect for weddings, those dreaded proms, or any fancy shindig requiring something more than jeans. They also do rentals, which is clutch if you just need a tux for one night and don't plan on ever needing it again.
You should know that the staff there is supposed to be really friendly and know their stuff, which is always a win. People have raved about how helpful they are when it comes to finding the right fit, plus they are pretty good about accommodating last-minute requests and making sure everything's on time. Apparently, Jillian and John get shout-outs all the time for their top-notch service. There might be some occasional hiccups that people point out, regarding communication and sizing issues – but overall, it looks like Tuxedo Den is one of Sacramento's favorite shops for formal wear.

#125 Fallas Discount Store
2664 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94110
Fallas Discount Store in San Francisco, or what used to be Factory 2-U, is a lifesaver if you need to keep your spending down, and they even sell stuff for the house, too. You can find clothes for everyone - men, women, kids – plus shoes and stuff for your place, all in one spot. Some shoppers might tell you Fallas is the best when you have to find cheap clothes in the city, and you could score items for crazy low prices.
People really seem to appreciate that prices are so low, they have a lot of clothes available, especially children's uniforms. A lot of people talk about finding great deals that don't break the bank. And they also talk about being able to find something good, if they are willing to search hard for it. I also hear some are helpful and make recommendations. Keep in mind though, they don't allow refunds. You might get store credit only, should you need to return it. The store doesn't always get high marks for being tidy, some customers mention it can be cluttered and could be organized better.

JCPenney in Sacramento is, you know, a pretty solid department store with stuff for everyone, no matter their age or gender. They seem to have a real focus on clothing, I've heard they have great sales on uniforms, dress shirts, and shoes - that's always a bonus. Plus, they've got the whole accessory thing going on, from jewelry to random extras, and get this: a portrait studio *and* a salon. Can you even? I find that incredibly convenient if I want to get a haircut and a family photo on the same day, that said, it can be pretty messy from time to time.
People seem to really appreciate the prices you find there, and how the store's laid out in a way that makes sense. And don't get me started on the portrait studio; multiple people saying the photographers are super patient with kids and just generally great, so it might be worth checking out if you have kids, or if you're thinking of getting some professional shots done. The salon gets good marks too, apparently; I've heard about getting cuts and colors that look amazing at a decent price. I've also read that the employees are pretty helpful and nice, plus the parking situation is easy, which is a win. But sometimes, I do hear the dressing rooms are slim pickings, and some say the quality of some products has declined. Whatever, still seems to be a popular store, so it can't be all that bad, yeah?

Burlington in downtown Los Angeles offers some great deals on a bunch of stuff, from clothes for, I guess, everyone to shoes, home things, even sometimes luggage and beauty products. I think it's supposed to be, maybe, a treasure hunt kind of vibe since they get new brands and styles all the time. Apparently, it's where budget-minded shoppers can hopefully get good deals on brands they recognize, you know?
People who shop there seem to really love the low prices and big selection; they say you can find unexpected bargains, which is cool. Plus, lots of folks compliment the cleanliness and the way it is set up; with friendly employees, helpful security, and, I guess, elevators for the multiple floors. A lot of people mentioned they have good home decor, lots of towels and a big purse section. Still, I've heard some complaints about long lines to checkout because of not enough staff, lack of restrooms, and issues with parking costs and cleanliness. Some shoppers also said they have had issues with the selection compared to other stores, and some racks aren't as organized or are missing sizes.

Windsor is a clothing shop in Sacramento that seems to carry all the latest fashion trends, I hear they’ve got some really cute shoes and accessories. You can usually find a good selection of dresses, jeans, and jackets that are totally on-trend, but it appears that the sizes are not always inclusive.
A lot of people rave about Windsor because the clothes are cute and the prices aren't totally insane, and they're especially known for their dresses for special occasions. Sometimes, you get lucky and find a sales associate who's a total gem and helps you put together a killer outfit, which is always appreciated. The store does get some flak though. Some people have had bad experiences with staff who weren't so helpful, and the return policy along with the quality of certain items are also a thing. Still, its a pretty solid option if you're searching for trendy and somewhat inexpensive clothes.

Sock City, based in Sacramento, is this shop that, apparently, just has walls and walls of socks. Seriously, if you are looking for a gift that is unique or need something fun to spice up your day, this place is a must! You can find anything from biodiesel socks (yes, that's a thing, I looked it up) to novelty socks with, I don't know, ducks on them? I bet they have every kind of sock form you could imagine...tube, toe, ankle, crew. Honestly, it is a sock lover's paradise.
People seem to really enjoy the shopping atmosphere and the employees. Many of the customers mention a great experience because of all of the options, and some people were saying how helpful the staff was. Someone even had an employee dig through like, a ton of boxes to find their specific Stance socks...that's dedication! Okay, I shouldn't start with "Okay." While some reviews mention it could get crowded or some customer service issues are present, people seem to really like the shop and many mention they plan on revisiting, that's always a good sign.

OMAMImini in LA is a kids' clothing boutique that, honestly, sounds pretty rad, based on what people say. It's got this rep for really cool, almost avant-garde, modern designs. And apparently, the clothes are made from super soft fabrics, gender-neutral, and really well made—so well made that I've heard people say they wish they could get the stuff in adult sizes. Seems like they are popular for high quality, fashionable pieces and my friends go there.
The reviews are mostly glowing; people keep talking about the amazing quality and how stylish the clothes are. People seem to love the minimalist thing they do, and the fabrics are a big hit. It's cute that some folks even mention the owner, Ola, by name, and say the customer service is really friendly and helpful; I've heard the shipping is crazy fast too, which is always a plus. Someone told me about a negative incident, though, it seems that a customer service wasn't great; but the brand is overwhelmingly positive.

Black and Brown in San Jose seems to be a pretty cool spot. I've heard they specialize in curated vintage and second-hand clothes, and a lot of people seem to like that their collection has both older and more modern pieces. They're apparently in this old building, it sounds a little quirky, with different rooms dedicated to things such as accessories, clothes or even blankets. They also have military surplus stuff sometimes, which is good to keep in mind. It's good that they're picky with what they sell, which probably contributes to the unique shopping experience people seem to enjoy.

People find super cool and stylish items, and the employees are helpful and friendly, and that is super important for good shopping experiences. Lots of folks seem to appreciate the low prices and the variety of what they have, some reviewers especially love that "treasure hunt" feel of finding killer deals on brand-name stuff. A few have even pointed out how nice the staff are, which is always a plus in my book. The customer service that day was efficient and the staff were smiling and friendly. Sure, you might run into a messy rack or a long checkout line, and they definitely need to work on a better size availability, but all in all, if you have some extra time to browse, it could be worth the trip to see if you can score some hidden gems.

Lululemon's San Francisco spot seems to have a good selection, especially if you're on the hunt for workout tops they don't always have online. I've heard that it's a go-to spot if you're wanting to find athletic clothing when you Google "clothing store near me in San Francisco" looking for yoga pants or sports bras. And, the employees there seem really willing to help, giving solid advice based on your height and body type. Plus, I hear they're pretty chill about exchanges, which is always a relief because who wants to deal with a return headache? It's nice to know they sometimes have sales going on, which can definitely help when you're debating whether or not to buy that cute sports bra.
Generally, people seem to appreciate how helpful the employees are, especially since finding the right size can be a challenge, but they're great at returns too. A lot of reviewers have called out specific employees for going above and beyond, so that's always a good sign. The clothing quality and fit are apparently spot on, and it sounds that the store typically gets new inventory frequently. Macy's in San Diego is a serious operation with just, a ton of stuff. It's a place that sells clothes, shoes, and accessories for both women and men. Plus, I think they got makeup, jewelry, furniture, home goods, and cologne...the list seems endless. It's true, you hear a lot about stores shuttering around the country these days, but Macy's still seems to be hanging in there, you know?
The staff do receive a lot of love, I've noticed. Sylvia, Matthew, Derrion, Laura B, and Ashleigh get special mentions all the time for going above and beyond. What people seem to really appreciate is the wide selection of clothes and footwear, along with finding killer deals and promotions if you time it right, and that it's organized. Also, you can get make-up. Oh, and sometimes people have some issues too, and there's mixed reviews.

Macy's in downtown Sacramento's a pretty major department store; they've got almost everything, you know? The vibe there is pretty solid - I think it has to do with the staff being consistently helpful, it's such a plus. They also have some name brand stuff, which is great if you are in the market for something nice and want to buy it in person, which you can find the best deals. I almost forgot, there's also a home section is huge, so you can get lost looking for throw pillows if that's your jam.

Big 5 Sporting Goods in San Jose, it's a store that has a lot to offer, you know? You can find camping and hunting gear if that's your thing, plus they really do function as a clothing store, so you don't have to go anywhere else. It's easy to get to from the street, which is nice. People always say how easy it is to find what you need because of the super open and simple layout, the variety is really extensive. Plus, they always have good advice on trails nearby. REI's return policy and those member perks also get a lot of love, which make that membership fee worth it, even if that discount card has an expiration date. I suppose some people feel like the prices are a little high, but many customers think the quality and customer service make it worth spending a little extra.

The Gap in San Francisco’s Marina neighborhood seems like a solid choice if you're searching for clothes for everyone in the family. Apparently, it’s one of the bigger Gap stores in the city. I hear they usually have a decent selection of denim and trendy stuff, and I've noticed they always seem to be running some kind of sale, too. Though, I’ve been told the men's section is kinda limited, but generally, they stock those standard basics that you can always use.
Most people complimenting the staff, saying everyone's helpful and friendly; Gabby and Eugene are named specifically as going above and beyond to help shoppers find exactly what they need. Customers also like that the store's kept neat and it’s easy to navigate, and that the displays are pleasing to the eye. The main negative mentions were about some of the staff not being super friendly and difficulty finding parking, but that's pretty common for San Francisco.

Monday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Friday: [10 AM-9 PM], Saturday: [9 AM-8:30 PM], Sunday: [9:30 AM-7:30 PM]
Big 5 Sporting Goods in San Diego, it's a pretty standard spot for, well, sporting goods. They have all sorts of stuff; gear for camping, fishing, hunting, alongside shoes and clothes. And yes, they've got knives, ammunition, that whole deal, so you probably can find what you're looking for. Depending on what your budget is, its been considered that this might actually be your best bet to get sporting goods or shoes in San Diego, you know, if you don't want to spend too much.
A lot of the time, people dig the sales and good prices, plus they say there's a decent selection of equipment and shoes to consider. Honestly though, I think the people who work there have made the difference, some reviewers have mentioned really great employees who are extra friendly, super helpful, and, you know, actually know their stuff. I read that the store itself is usually well-organized, well-stocked, so that's a relief. It appears that some customers have noted slow service, unhelpful interactions, also understaffing is apparently an issue as well.

Monday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-8:30 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-9 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-9 PM], Friday: [9:30 AM-9:30 PM], Saturday: [9 AM-8:30 PM], Sunday: [9:30 AM-8 PM]
Big 5 Sporting Goods in Sacramento has a really solid selection, which is good when you're trying to find something specific. They usually have a decent stock of athletic shoes, and I've heard their camping stuff is pretty comprehensive too if you into that sort of thing. You can usually find equipment for different sports, I know they have some brands that only make shoes for them - make sure to pay attention to quality though.
People seem to have generally positive things to say, particularly about the staff being helpful with finding what they need, and they're supposedly not pushy, which is a big plus. It is true that, prices seem competitive, especially if you keep an eye out for sales and coupons, since you could save some money. Though I also saw a couple of people have mentioned a lack of organisation or sizes not being available. Sometimes it does seem they are understaffed, or some employees can be less than enthusiastic, which is never fun when you just wanna get in and get out.

If you're hunting for something totally out there in San Francisco, Piedmont Boutique is where its at. Tucked into Haight-Ashbury, this shop is overflowing with vibrant, unusual clothes and accessories. Think festival season, party outfits, or when you just wanna stand out from the crowd, you know? They have everything from sequin-covered everything to furry hats, edgy jewelry and those kinda rad go-go boots.
Honestly, people really seem to dig Piedmont Boutique, I mean, what's not to love? So many reviews talking about the awesome selection, the unique items, and the generally good vibes – one person even called it "Ali Baba's cave", which is fun. The staff is super kind and can tailor an outfit to make it your own. I hear some people think it's a little pricy, especially since they don't offer returns. Some customers are wary about the custom pieces, citing quality issues and difficult encounters with some of the staff, but I mean, whatever, the staff is great. Ultimately, it seems like if you want some high quality flair, or just need to find something really special, this is a total must-see.

UNIQLO at The BLOC in downtown LA is a two-story spot that carries clothes for everyone. They seem to be known for their quality basics, I hear their cotton tees are amazing. You can get jeans as well, plus they always have a seasonal collection, so it's always worth checking in. And I've read good things about their collab designs. Honestly, it sounds pretty good, they are a Japanese brand with modern designs at reasonable prices.
People online rave about the price-to-quality ratio; the basics are especially well-regarded. The staff are really helpful, which is always a plus. I heard they have tailoring, I think that's such a great convenience. It's really annoying to find clothes that fits well. Also, the layout is spacious and well-organized, I believe it's a good shopping experience. It's awesome that they offer a good variety of styles and sizes for all.

#143 Target

This Target Express is definitely the smaller sibling to the regular ones around town. It's a pretty streamlined version, though; they've got a decent selection of essentials like groceries, beer and wine, toiletries, plus that little pharmacy section. Don't go there if you're trying to do a big grocery haul, cause their inventory is limited. If you're nearby, it's a good option to swing by if you need a few things.
Honestly, the convenience factor is the biggest draw. People who shop there really appreciate being able to pop in and out fast, especially when you're dodging the Mission Valley chaos. Apparently, it's generally pretty clean, which is always a win, and some people have said the employees are pretty friendly, which is something I always look for when shopping. This particular store always has a decent amount of shoppers, so you won't be the only one if you visit.

Target is certainly a store that I frequent, and I know it's a popular spot for a lot of folks around Sacramento cause its close to a lot of colleges. The real draw, I think, is the sheer variety, you can grab anything from a new dress to laundry detergent or even that obscure phone charger you needed. Plus, with a pharmacy right there, and a Starbucks, its a win-win on errands. I've heard they even sell school uniforms during the school season.
I've heard people are pretty happy with the staff too, that they're generally helpful. The shelves are usually stocked, and it seems tidy which is a big plus. Online ordering for pick-up seems to have been convenient for people, if you're into that. Though, there's been some complaints about groceries and the Red Card. But overall, I think for most of us around here, Target is a reliable place to shop, you know?

LOFT is a pretty dependable place to find women's clothing if you're in San Jose. They're known for carrying a mix of styles, something for work, something for chilling, maybe even something a little sporty; so it's got good variety. They often have sales going on, too, which makes it a good choice when you're trying not to totally break the bank, especially because they got some good sales. If you like patterns and bright colors, a lot of people say LOFT is a go-to, and the petite section actually has some cute options.
The staff at that particular LOFT seems generally pretty good. I have heard people mention some employees, like Tillie and Caroline, because they were really helpful with sizing and styling. I think when you get good customer service it improves the shopping experience. The store is usually clean and organized, which is always nice. A couple folks commented on the fitting rooms being a little dusty and that’s definitely a valid point to note.

Arc'teryx's La Brea store in Los Angeles has a real rep for being the place to go for amazing outdoor clothes. They've got a huge range, from jackets perfect for hitting the slopes to durable pants for tough hikes, not to mention shoes and accessories to finish off your look. The design is supposed to be cutting-edge, and they really focus on materials that will last, which is a quality I can get behind. It seems that they create a chill environment for people to look around too, which is always appreciated when shopping.
You know, I hear such great things about the employees there; apparently, they’re incredibly friendly and they actually know their stuff, offering spot-on advice, and that is the best kind of customer service. I've read reviews that compliment the store for how spacious and well-kept it is too, with displays set up in a smart way. Plus, some reviewers mention the staff are super attentive, particularly for anyone planning serious outdoor trips such as backpacking in the Sierras. A lot of people have found the variety of sizes super helpful in finding the right fit, which is something that is sometimes overlooked.

The Ross Dress for Less in San Jose is one of those places that aims to be a catch-all for the family and your place, and it's mostly a win. You know, where you can find name-brand clothes, shoes, and accessories, then pivot to toys, home decor, or even that random kitchen gadget you didn't know you needed all at a discount. It kind of sells itself as a treasure hunt because you never know what you'll find; the stock is always being rotated, which I guess keeps things interesting if you're a regular, though not a guarantee you find the jeans you want. What Ross does offer is a clothing store near me with budget conscious prices.
Most reviewers seem to agree that this specific Ross location is cleaner and more organized, which I've definitely seen can be a big issue with discount places. People compliment the great deals, particularly with brand-name stuff and plus-size options which is a plus, no pun intended. The staff seems pretty solid too, with a few shout-outs for helpful people there, Matthew, in particular, sounds like he has the patience of a saint when people are digging through their bags at checkout. Of course, there is always a couple that complain about slow checkout lines, though I feel like that comes with discount places.

Out of the Closet on Folsom is a San Francisco staple; it's a thrift store with everything from clothes to furniture and even those random kitchen gadgets you didn't know you needed. Word on the street is they get some pretty awesome designer stuff too, maybe even new items which honestly, is kinda cool. What's also neat is how they do this color-coded tag system that changes every week; they're just always offering discounts, whether it's 30%, 50%, or this steal for just a dollar. Seriously, the best part is all the money goes to AIDS research and patient care, so you're basically shopping for a good cause, which is a really good feeling.
I hear people rave about the deals, because who doesn't love a good deal? Especially because the selection is always different so you can really get some fun finds. They tend to be very well organized and clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. It is good to know the prices might be a little higher than other spots and depending on who you get the employees may seem rude. Still, it's hard to argue with thrifting while supporting an important cause, plus some people have been furnishing their whole apartment with their finds – that sounds amazing.

It's basically a one-stop shop and often the only place I can get what I want. Plus, some locations even have a Starbucks, which, let's be real, is a total win.
I appreciate that Target offers ordering online and pick up. Honestly, they do a good job of keeping things tidy, and most of the staff is usually pretty friendly, which is a big plus. The clothing section is always tempting, you can find the cutest things at reasonable prices. Gaslamp Garage seems to have a handle on the souvenir game in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter; it's a big shop overflowing with, well, just about anything touristy. You can find the typical keychains and magnets, I'm sure, but reviewers mention a really solid selection of clothing, too. They carry name brands, which is cool, and based on some of the comments, you may discover unadvertised sales when you visit, who knows!
It sounds overall like people dig the selection and how convenient it is; a bunch of reviews mention it being a great spot to grab everything on your list. You're likely to find a friendly face working there as well. Although, some customers have had less-than-stellar experiences with the staff, and it appears that the pricing could fluctuate or have some confusing issues, so definitely double-check things before you head to the register.

The Padres Team Store in Petco Park is a go-to destination when you're seeking out a vast collection of merchandise celebrating the San Diego Padres. They really do stock a ton of stuff. You can find it all from jerseys with player names, caps and t-shirts, to more unique souvenirs and collectibles, its almost all there. A little birdy told me the selection is great if you like other MLB teams too. Now, just a heads up, since it's within Petco Park's Western Metal Supply building, prices can be higher than other retailers, but it’s worth it to see that cool building.
Most fans rave about the well-organized layout and the staff is reportedly super friendly and helpful, especially on days when there isn't a game. It's really cool that you can customize your jersey right there. A lot of people said they found items you can't even get online. Though there has been some occasional frustrations, you might see long lines if you go, or they might not have what you want. A few mentioned the prices tend to be quite high, especially on game days, its true.

Bloomingdale's in SF is a department store that is pretty darn bougie. They carry all sorts of stuff – clothing for women, men, and kids, plus shoes, jewelry, accessories, handbags, cosmetics, and home things such as furniture. It's definitely a store with a ton of options, and the prices do reflect this. They're aiming to give shoppers a fancy experience, zeroing in on designer labels and good quality stuff. If you’re not wanting to go in person, they have online ordering going on with local and worldwide delivery, which is pretty cool.
People seem to rave about how pretty the store is setup, and they have great service, especially in fragrances and cosmetics. Some people say it's pricey but worth it since they carry awesome brands with really great sales sometimes. I've read how some customers have been helped to style different items they purchased! Pulvy Boutique in San Jose is this unique spot, seriously. They've got a real mix of stuff going on: Indian dresses, alterations, and, of course, the eyebrow threading that everyone seems to be talking about, prices are reasonable. I think their niche is really catering to the South Asian community, they can shop for clothing here, and get their eyebrows done! They also sell jewelry there too, I guess, for a one-stop place.
People are always raving about their threading services and it can be hard to find a good place these days. Apparently, it's generally quick, easy, and doesn't hurt too bad, which is always a win; my eyebrows always looked great when I leave. Lots of people say they’re super friendly and know what they're doing, which leads to great-looking eyebrows every time. Some have even mentioned they go there specifically to fix other threading jobs. There were a few comments about unfriendliness or wait times, and *apparently* a couple people even had issues with burns from waxing, but mostly it seems like a positive experience. Some reviewer mentioned the jewelry being hard to see.

There are customers who love scoring deals on clothing and household stuff, with some saying it has great options with fair pricing. Some reviews mention familiar faces and friendly vibes, however, there are comments regarding the inconsistency in pricing. Sometimes, the color-coded clothing can be a bit disorganized. Downtown San Diego's Ross Dress for Less, yeah, it's a pretty small one, I guess, which can sometimes translate to a bit of a mess. But hey, since Horton Plaza closed, its the only discount clothing retailer near me here, it's been a lifesaver, you know? You can find basically anything there – clothes, shoes, accessories, that random decorative bowl you don't *need* but totally want. And sometimes, if you're lucky, they even have electronics! The prices are definitely where it's at, and tbh it's kind of a fun hunt to find the really good stuff. It's Ross, so you gotta manage your expectations, though.
Honestly, people really dig this Ross for the deals. There's so much you can find from brand-name items at dirt-cheap prices, clothes, shoes, some really cute home decor, you know? The fact that it's right off the trolley line is a major plus for a lot of people, too. Some have said that the staff are friendly, especially the cashiers, and the security makes you feel safe, even with the downtown location. Of course, some people mention the store feels cramped, or it's disorganized at times, or the staff isn't always smiley and cheerful, but overall, if you have patience and time, that location is great.

Everlane in San Francisco is a good option when you're trying to build that capsule wardrobe of durable and ethically made staples, it seems. They’re all about that "radical transparency" thing, which is pretty cool, and their sustainability practices are noteworthy. Supposedly, they carry apparel, footwear, as well as some accessories, though sometimes it sounds there are fewer options in-store versus their online shop. Even though the selection maybe limited, people looking for a solid collection of classic pieces should give it a look.
What's really cool is that people consistently praise Everlane for their ethical manufacturing, showing all costs, and overall garment quality, though. Many customers appreciate how helpful and knowledgeable the staff are, particularly when trying to nail down the right size; I can definitely appreciate that. People seem to enjoy the store's minimalist aesthetic, plus the comfortable clothes that don't feel like fast fashion junk, which is a win. Apparently, employees like Kate and Olive are awesome and go above and beyond to create a personal shopping experience, like actually driving stuff to other stores.

I've heard folks say they consistently have awesome prices, plus you can find brand-name stuff for way cheaper than at other stores. Lots of people seem to appreciate the variety too. They have clothes for everyone, plus home stuff and accessories, although I hear the organization could use some work. Taylor Stitch, a San Francisco-based menswear brand, definitely has a reputation for crafting some seriously cool and durable clothing. They've got it all, from everyday shirts and pants to jackets and even custom suit options for a big event. What you'll hear from most folks is that they consider them one of the best places in the city for finding both modern cuts and really timeless pieces, particularly if you care about great quality and stand out fabrics. So, if you find yourself googling "clothing stores near me" and you're in the Bay, it's a shop worth considering if you're after something more than just fast fashion.
Honestly, reading through reviews, people rave about the stellar quality and just how stylish their stuff looks; plus, I've seen notes mentioning exceptional customer service from really well-informed staff. A lot of reviewers have mentioned how comfy the fit is and all the compliments they get wearing Taylor Stitch clothing. It sounds as if the vibe in the shop itself is super chill and welcoming, with the team consistently willing to go the extra mile, even with custom tailoring. Having said that, I did see a few concerning comments, some people have had frustrating experiences buying online; the experiences are varied from late shipments or entirely missing items and, regrettably, unresponsive customer service. There were even a few reports of feeling unwelcome in the store due to what they perceived as judgy staff or a weird music selection, but maybe those were just one-off situations.

Burlington’s a place I’ve heard about around San Diego, a clothing store that, from what I understand, has a ton of stuff and the prices? Supposedly pretty good. You can find stuff for everyone: men, women, kids, it's really for the whole family to be honest. I think they sell shoes, accessories, and even home décor, maybe even some food. It’s like they're trying to be the ultimate bargain destination, which, tbh, who isn't trying to be that?
It's easy to get lost browsing. Plenty of people I know say they love the prices, apparently scoring brand-name stuff for cheap is a common occurrence. Seems like they do a decent job of organizing everything too, which is always a plus. Oh, and people rave about the staff being helpful, and that the store's clean and spacious. I get the sense though that sometimes they struggle with staffing, maybe long lines can be an issue, especially at the cashier, and maybe it’s not always organized which I mean, happens. But from I can tell, it's a solid choice if you're looking for good clothes and shoes without breaking the bank.

Victoria's Secret and PINK in San Jose offer basically everything a girl could need for her lingerie drawer, from everyday stuff to something a little more special, plus they've got sleepwear, fragrances, and even some clothes too. I've heard that you can find great babydolls along with high-quality lingerie; though, I've also seen a few people mention that sometimes tracking down the size you need can be a struggle. Seriously, I could use some new fragrances.
What I've noticed from reviews is that people genuinely seem to like the staff; a lot of them talk about how friendly and helpful the employees are and how quickly they offer assistance when you're clearly wandering around looking lost. It looks as though many shoppers appreciate the good deals and promotions that are available, particularly on the fragrances and lingerie—and who doesn’t love a good deal? I suppose that’s why my wife is always so happy when she gets her things there. However, some have noted issues; people mentioning disorganized displays, difficulties finding assistance, or, get this, super long lines due to understaffing. A few also commented on less-than-stellar cashier experiences, so it appears their customer service might not always be consistent.

H&M in San Francisco is pretty popular for its variety of clothing that ranges from basics to things that are more dressy. You can find something for just about anyone--men, women, and even the kiddos--at prices that don't feel too ridiculous most of the time. It's one of those stores you can hit up when you need a refresh without totally emptying your bank account.
A lot of people seem to dig H&M because there's so much to choose from and the prices are generally reasonable, especially when they are having promotions. The way that they lay out the store makes browsing pretty easy. Plus, I've heard that some of the people who work there are actually nice and helpful which, you know, is always a bonus. If you’re trying to shop for the whole family, this location is kept super clean and organized so you're bound to find something. I hear sizing can be a bit inconsistent, but hey, what store isn't these days?

C & I Clothing in Los Angeles seems to be a go-to spot for workwear essentials and some classic looks. You're able to find a good selection of Dickies and Ben Davis there, alongside jeans, Levi's, and even some cool corduroys; which is good if you like that retro look. For those needing a perfect fit, people have mentioned they do on-site alterations, this is a great add-on.
Plenty of shoppers rave about the customer service and the owner's tailoring abilities, though some have different experiences. Honestly, from what I'm reading, many customers are happy with the owner; describing him as patient and helpful. Getting free alterations and a fast turnaround seems to be a huge plus, but I also saw some stuff about the owner maybe being rude or impatient if you don't buy anything, or even racist. It's hard to say, but the shop has been called an "authentic OG small business", a nice local shop with fair prices.

Forever 21's a place around here in Sacramento that sells clothes, and they've got so many styles. It really is the store where anyone can find something they might wanna wear, they carry stuff for guys too, and I've noticed they've got a pretty decent plus-size section which is appreciated. The staff seems to be very helpful.
You know, I heard from others that Forever 21 has the best prices and they are known for the clothing that is fashionable. I heard their earrings are super cheap plus cute clothes for all sizes. I have heard that its hard to find anything when looking through the racks so it might be difficult. Plus, it seems other people mentioned the staff can make or break your shopping experience, some say they are super friendly, others not so much, it really depends on who you get.

Neiman Marcus in San Francisco is a total institution when it comes to luxury shopping in the Bay. You can find pretty much everything there: designer clothes, amazing accessories, killer cosmetics, and even stuff for your home, with brands such as Chanel, Gucci, and Armani being their standbys. Not to mention, the architecture is stunning, I'm pretty sure the stained-glass ceiling in the Rotunda restaurant is what everyone goes on about. It really gives you that upscale, fancy kind of experience.
People are often raving about the architecture, the Rotunda restaurant, and, honestly, the entire vibe of the place, which makes sense. Staff seems to be on top of their game, I've heard people name-dropping Jordon, Aiko, Regina, Mark, Raymond, Hakan, and Jeffrey Mao, but to each their own. The selection is wide, the products, super unique, and having it right smack dab in the city center is a total bonus. The store is also super clean, which you don't see enough of, and the decorations during Christmas, so festive. Though it seems some people have had their share of bad experiences, I keep hearing good things.

Ross Dress for Less in downtown Los Angeles is a spot to find a bit of everything, from clothes and shoes to random home stuff and even perfume. You can definitely score some cute finds if you take the time to look. Some people consider it's a haven for bargain hunters because they seem to have pretty good deals on name brands. I mean, if you're on the hunt for decent prices in LA, it's probably worth a peep, ya know?
People seem to rave about how cheap everything is at Ross, plus they stock a bunch of stuff, and there's always the possibility of finding a designer piece for a steal. Lots of reviewers mention the staff is usually pretty friendly and helpful too, which is a big bonus, especially for a downtown store. I hear folks discover decent quality stuff at prices that make gift-shopping or just stocking up on everyday things totally doable. A few folks did mention long lines and customer service that wasn't always stellar. Some mentioned the place being a little messy, and apparantly there isn't a restroom for customers.

Nike Clearance Store in Sacramento seems like a good spot if you're hunting for discounted Nike gear; they've got a bunch of stuff, you know, shoes and clothes and whatnot, with that iconic swoosh that everyone recognizes. I read a bunch of reviews, and it looks like it's a real draw for people who are into sports fashion and want to save some cash on Nikes.
Honestly, most people seem pretty happy with the deals and variety that is provided, many mentioned the prices being way better compared to what you'd usually pay for Nike stuff, which, I mean, that's always a plus, right? Plus, many reviewers said the customer service was helpful, which is always a make or break it situation for me. The selection is good, there are many Jordan’s and styles of running shoes, and it can be good for filling up the shoe cubbies, too. There are always gonna be a few bad apples though; some people have said the quality can be hit or miss. Regardless, it still sounds good for people who live in Sacramento.

Macy's in Century City is a department store; you know, the kind with everything from clothes and shoes to makeup, jewelry, and even stuff for your house. Plus, they've got tons of brands that you’ve actually heard of, and they're always doing a sale or some sort of discount, which is what everyone likes to hear. If I was looking for a big department store option in the LA area, Macy's is definately one of them.
A lot of people are really happy with the staff at this Macy's; I've seen good things about Martha in cosmetics because she really goes the extra mile. Mike in menswear gets mentioned a lot, too, for making the shopping trip easier. Plus, I've read that they have great last-chance deals, that's the kind of place to be. On the flip side, there are definitely some comments about not having enough people working there, which creates longer lines, or finding sales associates on the floor, so hopefully they've taken care of that by now.

American Eagle is one of those stores that consistently pop up when I'm thinking about a new pair of jeans. Apparently, they have a good selection of stuff, jeans and tops, even flannels, and they seem to carry a range of sizes that's pretty inclusive. I've noticed a lot of people talking about how great the fit is on their jeans, I'm pretty sure it's their biggest selling point, if you ask me.
Honestly, it sounds worth a visit for the jeans alone, especially since a lot of shoppers are raving about how comfy and well-fitting they are. From what I read, there are frequent sales, and they have a rewards program too, which is something I can definitely get behind. Although, there seem to be conflicting reports on the customer service, with some people finding the staff super helpful and others not so much; one reviewer had a super awesome experience with a personal shopper. I've seen a few reviews that mentioned the staff isn't always great, and that the prices aren't exactly cheap, however, the positive feedback, and the selection of sizes, really do make it sound like a place to consider.

I always thought Ross Dress for Less was a great option in Sacramento, you know, for finding a bunch of stuff all in one place. They tend to have a good selection, and the prices are generally pretty reasonable, especially on name-brand clothing, shoes, and even things for the home, not to mention accessories and beauty products. It's convenient when you need to grab something quick, since they seem to have most of the main bases covered.
I hear that people appreciate the late hours, which is cool, and that they are able to find some pretty sweet deals. I heard the location on Hurley Way is nice with nearby stores. Some shoppers have pointed out a lack of shoe variety and for plus-size clothing which may cause one to get stressed while looking around. On a positive note, many have praised the customer service--I guess it depends on who you get.

Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [Closed], Wednesday: [10 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-6 PM], Friday: [10 AM-6 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-6 PM], Sunday: [10 AM-6 PM]
Triple Aught Design, in the Dogpatch area of San Francisco, is a shop specializing in rugged, more tactical styles for both outdoor and urban settings. For people who appreciate a more hands-on experience, it provides a brick-and-mortar option to try on clothing from their mostly online presence before committing to a purchase, which is a major plus. I also like that they seem to prioritize stuff designed and made in the U.S., including their cool jackets, packs, plus they've got a decent selection of merino wool pieces, which are super versatile. If you're on the hunt for gear that balances practicality and a sort of understated, durable aesthetic, it’s def worth checking out.
From what I've read, customers seem to generally love the quality of the stuff and how well it's designed, especially the jackets and backpacks; apparently, they're super durable for all kinds of adventures. Plus, a lot of people mention how helpful and knowledgeable the staff is, which makes the whole shopping experience way more enjoyable. It's also awesome that so much of their stuff is made in the USA, there aren’t many places that do that anymore. A number of reviewers pointed out the awesome custom-designed luggage, which seems really perfect for weekend trips, and the comfy couch in the dressing rooms definitely sounds like a nice touch. There've been a few people reporting issues with returns and communication, along with some concerns about pricing and stock, but it sounds like the majority of people are happy with their purchases.

Target in Sacramento is a pretty great place to pick up, well, pretty much anything. You can legit find clothes and accessories, but also get things for your house, electronics *and* groceries. It's kind of awesome because it feels like a one-stop shop, I feel. Target's got a reputation, I've heard, for having decent quality stuff and good prices, so it's really no surprise that a lot of locals like it. Plus they always have what I need when I shop there.
Folks seem to dig how clean and open the store is, I mean who doesn't love that? Makes it way easier to actually find what you're looking for, right? Then there's the employees, I hear the staff are usually really nice and helpful, not to mention quick service, which is a major win when you're running errands. The clothes are well-made and the variety is pretty good, so that's cool. Curbside pickup seems super popular, too, it is definitely fast and easy to use. Though, you know, people have told me sometimes the checkout lines can be long, or that customer service can be hit or miss - that always sucks. But overall, I've been told Target's still one of the better clothing stores you can find around these parts.

Okay so, this Ross in San Jose is one of those stores that could have hidden gems galore; you know, the kind you don't typically find at the mall. I guess it's trying to be a budget-friendly spot in the area. They are attempting to offer lots of choices across the board, from clothes for all ages, shoes, stuff for your house, and even health and beauty goodies. The place seems to be trying, even though it is frequently a bit chaotic in there.
I will say, people keep mentioning you can score killer deals there. Like, seriously good bargains, and end up finding pretty neat gifts or just everyday things for way less. Apparently, a few shoppers note the staff is helpful and that's always a good thing since sometimes customer service just sucks. Having staff that does the opposite is good. However, there are complaints from people about cleanliness, things being all over the place, and long lines...and allegedly instances of racial profiling. I do think there are more good reviews than bad reviews.

FAM MART is this cool indoor spot in San Diego, basically a marketplace where you can find all sorts of clothing, shoes, and accessories. They've got a bunch of different vendors selling stuff – everything from t-shirts and jeans to hats and plus sizes, along with jewelry, beauty supplies, and even services. It's nice that they have alterations and airbrushing. I did hear that some people get their haircuts there. Plus, apparently, they offer things, such as embroidery, and gold teeth.
Lots of people like FAM MART because it has a huge selection and you can often find things at reasonable prices. The "one-stop-shop" thing is a definite draw, too. It's also got something of a swap meet vibe. People seem to appreciate having trendy, urban items available. I've read reviews where customers specifically praised vendors, especially the embroidery shop and that barber. A number of people also mention the staff are nice. I've noticed customers really do appreciate when a company shows a level of respect.

Ross in Los Angeles is a decent place to check out if you're trying to save some cash on clothes. They stock stuff for everyone – men, women, kiddos – and even some home stuff, accessories, sometimes furniture even. It's a bit of a treasure hunt, honestly, but you can score some pretty sweet brand-name deals.
What I've heard is people appreciate those low prices and the thrill of the hunt for good deals on labels. A lot of folks mention how friendly the staff were, also that the customer service is on point, and some locations are kept pretty tidy, making the whole shopping thing more enjoyable. And speaking of options, they have everything from outfits and shoes to stuff for your place, perfumes, you name it. It's cool hearing that some people felt safer with the security and attentive staff, it's definitely something you consider, though. One thing, the feedback does mention messiness, disorganization, long checkout lines, and not-so-helpful workers. Also, they're probably right that some spots, parking is a pain, or there's like, other safety issues from homelessness, so it changes the vibe somewhat.

#177 Aramark Uniform Services is now Vestis

Monday: [8 AM-8 PM], Tuesday: [8 AM-8 PM], Wednesday: [8 AM-8 PM], Thursday: [8 AM-8 PM], Friday: [8 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [Closed], Sunday: [Closed]
Vestis, which used to be Aramark Uniform Services, is a company located in San Jose that caters to businesses needing uniform rentals, as well as cleaning, which, honestly, is a pretty good niche to fill. I hear they have a decent amount of uniform styles, so you know, whatever industry you're in they can probably find something that fits, and they also rent stuff such as floor mats. Seems fairly convenient if you’re looking to get employee's work wear figured out without having to actually buy everything.
Honestly, from the comments it appears several delivery drivers are real rockstars, especially this Patrick dude, Juan too, and Al. A lot of folks said these guys are always on time, super professional, and apparently bending over backwards to make sure everything's correct; I am not sure if that is the case for all employees, though. Some people have complained about billing issues and then communication falling flat, and a tiny few mentioning unpleasant encounters with employees, so yeah, it sounds about normal for reviews you see online!

It's true that the Ross Dress for Less location in San Jose does have a pretty big selection of discounted stuff. They definitely cover all the bases: clothes for everyone in the fam, shoes, those little accessory finds, home goods, plus you might discover some random treasures, I'm talking toys or luggage. You can't beat their prices, and it's known for name-brand stuff at way better prices than you'd find at a big department store, which makes it a major spot for people hunting for deals on all kinds of things.
What's nice is that you can totally stumble upon some unexpected steals. A lot of people love that it's possible to find actually good quality clothing and gifts without spending a fortune. Though it's true it seems that some people find that the staff isn't super attentive, and that the cleanliness of the store overall could be improved, I guess it really just varies. Others appreciate the senior discounts and having late-night shopping hours. Overall, it's a fun place to visit now and then.

Victoria's Secret in Sacramento? It's a pretty standard spot, I guess, carrying all their usual stuff: lingerie, you know, bras and undies, along with perfumes and lotions. They do have a bunch of styles and sizes which is really convenient when I need some new lingerie. It's nice to know they offer options to fit different body types, and I do find their stuff tends to hold up well after a few washes.
I've heard that the staff are really good at helping people find what they need, like getting your bra size just right which is cool. The last time I was looking for a gift for my sister I heard an associate helping a customer and was able to find the most expensive bras! I do wish they were more organized in the fitting rooms though, sometimes everything is a mess. Honestly I've always found some really great deals on body sprays but the customer service has gone downhill recently. I hope they get it together because I really love their stuff.

Prada at Valley Fair definitely has the designer bag, shoe, and accessory game on lock, it's true. A range of super high-end stuff is what they're aiming for, I think...I mean, some people think it's too expensive though, and it probably is. Regardless, it's the place to go if you need that new Prada look, if that's what you want.
A lot of shoppers specifically mentioned the customer service being on point. Caroline and Dante especially got shout-outs for being helpful and knowing their stuff. Gordon and Iuliia did as well, apparently being very patient and nice people. I guess if you go in, expect some real personalized attention and assistance, especially when finding something specific to buy; maybe that will ease the pain on your wallet. The cleanliness of the store and how nice everything looks is another thing they always talk about.

Gucci's San Francisco location has a huge selection. You can find everything from handbags to shoes and the latest ready-to-wear collections for men and women. They're definitely trying to give off that luxe vibe, with people hoping for a special experience. A lot of folks consider it *the* spot in San Francisco for designer goodies; assuming you're into that kind of statement art and have the budget.
I've seen tons of reviews raving about the staff, specifically people remembering names like Carlos, Storm, and Jennifer for making their shopping trips amazing. Many reviewers said that staff were willing to hunt down the right size or style from the back or even do a remote purchase. I did see some negative stuff too. Some people mentioned feeling ignored, or even racially profiled; but I saw more reviews saying the opposite, and people appreciate when staff can assist them, giving them water and making them feel like royalty.

Zara's a clothing store downtown, right in Los Angeles, and they stock a whole bunch of stuff-- clothes, shoes, accessories, for guys, girls, and kiddos. It's got trendy designs at prices that don't make you weep, because, you know, rent. I think they pull inspo mainly from European fashion. Is Zara the best clothing store in Los Angeles? Well, maybe if you are looking for the latest styles, yeah definitely. Plus, they usually have fragrances and bags, it's all in there.
People seem to really dig that Zara is well-organized and clean with a big selection to choose from, that's always nice. Finding one-of-a-kind pieces is possible, people are always hunting for them! Plus, it's nice how the men's and women's sections are actually separate from each other, I think I prefer that. And if you happen to catch a sale, that's definitely great too. Sierra, who works there, is a great one. However, and I hate saying it, but there are always some complaints, stuff like slow checkout times, and I get that sizing there can be inconsistent; and those things can be valid complaints.

San Francisco Citywear is that shop near Pier 39 that sells all those SF-themed clothes and touristy bits. It's definitely a go-to spot, especially if you're looking for cheap t-shirts, hoodies, and hats, I think. You can find a decent souvenir or gift that screams "San Francisco" without completely emptying your wallet. I heard they've started carrying some more general merchandise too now.
I've heard mixed reviews, but the prices are generally good, people usually talk about the sales, and the t-shirts and sweatshirts, at least, seem to hold up okay. Friends have said it's the perfect place for getting little gifts for their family and friends when they come to San Fran and I've seen that people go there every time they visit, which is a good sign. Apparently, the staff is normally really nice too, which makes the shopping experience more pleasant, I guess. Although there's been reports about sizing can be weird and that they play music so loud.

Target near me in Sacramento is where it's at for pretty much everything; from clothes—ladies, mens, kids—to home goods and even groceries, you can’t really go wrong. One thing I always notice is that the place is kept so clean and organized. It’s like, oddly satisfying and makes shopping there so much more pleasant, you know?
Honestly, I keep hearing how helpful the staff is, which is a big deal. Plus, people are saying checkout is super fast, even when it's busy, but I think that depends on the cashier you are assigned. Another thing I heard, that its remodel has been a big win, people are saying it is now a scavenger hunt to find things. Word is they've been on top of keeping basics stocked, which was great during lockdown. I heard there's sometimes issues with prices not matching up from the shelf to the register, and reaching customer service can be a whole thing, but I guess that's customer service anywhere.

Macy's Backstage in San Jose seems to offer a mixed bag, but mostly leans toward a fun shopping experience if you're willing to put in the time. It's kinda like a treasure hunt with their discounted prices across so many different departments, from clothes and shoes to beauty bits and even stuff for your fur babies. And, who doesn't love a good deal on a brand name perfume, right?
Lots of people say they find really great bargains there, espcially when you check shoes and beauty items. I feel that it has something for everyone, particularly when you're trying to keep the spending to a minimum. It's awesome that you can find great deals on well-known brands. At the same time though, some customers have voiced concerns about it being a tad disorganized sometimes, even a little too crowded that day they went. However, you can expect their return policy to be pretty acceptable with the regular Macys area.
