Sama Rose By Asrar in Raleigh is a real gem if you're on the hunt for modest clothing and hijabs. They have so many choices – from everyday dresses to formal wear; which is great when you're trying to find something for a special occasion. Plus, I appreciate a store that's well-organized, you know? Makes the whole shopping thing so much less stressful when the store smells good!
What really stands out, though, is the amazing customer service I keep hearing about. Apparently, Asrar, the owner, is super attentive and helpful, making everyone feel welcome and supported. People are saying she has an eye for what looks good and has plenty of options for hijabis. The fact that they support Palestinian workers and carry products from the Middle East makes it even better, not to mention it's a women-owned business! I've heard that some kaftan dresses can be a little pricey, but everyone agrees that the quality totally justifies the cost.

Friday: [12-7 PM], Saturday: [12-7 PM], Sunday: [12-7 PM], Monday: [Closed], Tuesday: [12-7 PM], Wednesday: [12-7 PM], Thursday: [12-7 PM]
Street Commerce, I've heard, is this cool clothing store in Charlotte that carries a mix of designer pieces and streetwear. It sounds like they have stuff you can't find anywhere else, even vintage finds and I think it's cool when stores support local brands like $C and Finebritches. Apparently, they have a little bit of everything, from fancy clothes to all the hyped sneakers that people are obsessed with, so it could be worth checking out if you want to find something different or exclusive.
I keep seeing people rave about the customer service, especially mentioning how friendly and helpful Ethan, Drake, Danny, Jordan, and Alex are, they're full of tips on helping you put outfits together. A lot of people saying the selection is unique, good quality, and decently priced for designer stuff, which is always a win. It sounds like the shop’s got a good vibe, well-designed layout, and gets new stuff in all the time, making it a place where people will keep coming back and feel welcome. I did see someone complain about there being no parking, just street parking, so that's something to consider.

A lot of customers mention they always get compliments whenever they wear something they got there. The owner gets a lot of praise because she is very helpful and really knows her stuff, and it’s nice that she helps you find things that actually fit your style and how you want to feel. Plus, I also heard they do tailoring, which is always a bonus when you don't fit into the small, medium or large standard sizes. I saw one review where someone wasn’t happy with the customer service she received, but, for the most part, everyone seems to agree that Nashona is the place to go in Raleigh if you are looking for unique, good-quality African wear.

#5 Cato Fashions

Cato Fashions is a pretty popular spot in Charlotte if you're looking for women's clothes, especially since they have a good selection of plus sizes too. What I've heard is that people seem to appreciate that their prices won't break the bank, so you can find some cute things when they run sales. If you're trying to find somewhere accessible, the one on the bus line is supposed to be pretty convenient.
I have heard some chatter on the internet, and a lot of the reviews I've seen mention how nice and helpful the staff tend to be and how people have an overall positive shopping experience. Apparently some of the staff are super patient and offer some assistance. Someone even said they found some good accessories and that their clothes last a while, which is always a plus. Some people have experienced some hiccups, that I'm aware of, sometimes it is hard to find the right size and apparently some people have had some issues with coupons, but a lot of others seem to really like it.

#6 Talbots
438 Woodburn Rd, Raleigh, NC 27605
Monday: [10 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [10 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [10 AM-7 PM], Friday: [10 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [10 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [12-6 PM]
Talbots in Raleigh is definitely one of those stores that comes to mind when I'm looking for classic pieces, and from what I hear, they're pretty good about keeping things stylish, too. Plus, they've got a petite section, which is a huge win, not every brand is so inclusive. I've heard their sales are worth checking out, and a lot of people compliment the quality of the stuff, so I mean, what's not to love, right?
What I appreciate hearing from people is how friendly and helpful the staff are; I mean, nobody wants to shop somewhere where the employees are giving off bad vibes. It's really important to me that places be clean and well-organized when I go shopping, and apparently Talbots has been recently remodeled, which makes it even more appealing. But from what I saw online, there were a few people who thought the selection wasn't quite what it used to be, maybe they were saying there's less of a selection, and that it can be a bit spendy when things aren't on sale. However, plenty of people seem to think the clothes fit great, they love all the personalized attention, and especially those constant sales that save us all.

#7 Cato Fashions

Cato Fashions, you know, the one in Raleigh, seems to be a pretty popular spot for clothes. I've heard they've got a good selection, not just clothes either, but shoes and those little accessories that can really make an outfit. Someone mentioned they even carry clip-on earrings, which is cool cause it can be difficult to find those. Plus, if you are on the lookout for a steal, I’ve been told that their clearance section is where it's at – a decent variety for pretty cheap.
What’s really catching my attention about Cato is that people seems to speak highly of both the value and the service. I read a review saying their staff is really friendly, and that the stores are generally organized and clean, which makes the whole shopping experience way more pleasant. It also seems ordering online isn't a total nightmare, since people have said the delivery is speedy. And sure, you will always encounter a disgruntled shopper or two complaining about quality control or their COVID-19 procedures, but overall, the vibe I'm getting is that Cato Fashions is a solid option if you want to find some new pieces.

OshKosh B'Gosh in Greensboro seems to be a really solid option if you are trying to find clothes that fit your kids. A lot of customers mention the prices being fair, especially when they have sales running. Having a great deal is important to me. It sounds as if the employees are pretty friendly, which is a huge plus, and they have a lot of choices for boys and girls—my friend always raves about their collection for toddler girls. I've read somewhere that they do this "give back program" before school starts too, which is pretty awesome. Although, I did see a comment where someone mentioned that the regular prices were a little high and that one person didn't see enough clothes in the size they needed.

Boho Depot in Winston-Salem definitely has a vibe all its own. Seriously, it's more than just your average clothing store; they seem to have everything from ethically sourced home decor and crystals to clothes that remind me of what my mom wore in her 20s. Someone mentioned free yoga, coupled with tarot readings, which sounds interesting if that's your thing.

East 8th Vintage in Charlotte seems to be a seriously cute vintage and antique shop; packed with a massive selection of clothes, home decor, and collectables. From what I've read it's way bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside, which is always a pleasant surprise. From what I gather, they specialize in making suits, shirts, pants, even sport coats, to your measurements. It's the kind of thing that could really elevate your look, especially if standard sizes just don't quite cut it, you know?

Apparently, a few names get dropped a lot: Greg Pittman, Molly, Kayla, and Ivy, with reviewers specifically noting their knowledge and how easy they are to deal with, and people seem to love that they come to *you* for measurements and deliver the clothes later. Of course, I saw some comments about how the process can take a while, and others weren't totally thrilled with their first fit, but it seems everyone is pretty satisfied with their products.

Buckle in Winston-Salem is this clothing store at Hanes Mall, I think, and they carry a bunch of different brands; jeans, long-sleeved shirts, Miss Me jeans (if you're into that), Fox Racing shirts, plus Oakley and Blowfish, and wallets too. Apparently, they've got stuff for both guys and gals, so if you’re on the hunt for, I don't know, a "clothing store near me" that isn't a total bust, maybe give this one a shot when you're close by.

Friday: [11 AM-8 PM], Saturday: [11 AM-8 PM], Sunday: [12-6 PM], Monday: [12-6 PM], Tuesday: [Closed], Wednesday: [12-6 PM], Thursday: [12-6 PM]
Design Archives Emporium in downtown Greensboro offers a cool mix of stuff, y'know? It's kind of an antique store, a gift shop, and a retro clothing hub all rolled into one. You can usually score vintage clothes, accessories, some household trinkets, or even locally made jewelry with a North Carolina touch. It's a really good clothing store if you are searching for something different and unique.
People definitely dig Design Archives. I hear them talk about the one-of-a-kind finds and that eclectic vibe, not to mention it's fun for thrifting. I think most people appreciate how the staff is really friendly and helpful; Hailey and Jupiter seem to be pretty good at customer service, that's what I've heard, anyway. What's also cool is how many different vendors and handmade items you can find there; it’s a pretty awesome spot for gifts or to buy something special for yourself. I heard they also have a bar inside, serving beer, wine, coffee, and tea; not gonna lie, that's a bit bougie, but I am definitely here for it. I hear the upstairs area has local artisan crafts.
I hear that the customer service is super friendly, it gives a positive vibe, and the staff is very accommodating. Folks seem to really dig the owner's helpfulness and how welcome they feel there. What's neat, too, is I heard it’s become a community gathering place, especially with the outdoor seating, the bar, and all the events they host, which is unique. Though, to be fair, someone mentioned they didn't stock Naked and Famous jeans in the fit that they wanted, and there's another mention of a concern about whether people of color feel welcome. Overall, the place seems to be creating a positive impact in the community.

Friday: [9 AM-5 PM], Saturday: [9 AM-5 PM], Sunday: [Closed], Monday: [9 AM-6 PM], Tuesday: [9 AM-6 PM], Wednesday: [9 AM-6 PM], Thursday: [9 AM-6 PM]
Harrison's in Winston-Salem seems to be a go-to spot if you're needing workwear or uniforms, especially if you're in law enforcement, are a first responder or something along those lines. Apparently, they have a bunch of Carhartt stuff – coats, boots, the whole shebang – along with cargo pants and accessories that would be exactly what I need for my line of work if I had a job that needed those items. It feels good to support a local business.
People seem to say the staff is genuinely helpful; some reviewers specifically call out Kelly, Sierra, Stacey, Joey, Paxton, and D.J. They really appreciate the personalized attention and how far the employees will go to help. Lots of folks also mention the huge selection of work boots, Carhartt apparel, and the fact they do embroidery in house. Based on what people say online, it appears they’re pretty knowledgeable and make an effort to sort out problems, which is essential. I understand how staffing issues can make it difficult to be as friendly as you can be.

It's a decent sized store, and people have said its set up in a way that makes sense, plus it's clean, and you can find name brands which is a plus. If you're on the hunt for a clothing store in Winston-Salem that has a lot more than just clothing, it might be worth stopping by to see what you think.
A lot of shoppers seem to rave about the super friendly and helpful employees at Etc. Consignment Shoppe. What's more, they always find the items you are looking for. People really seem to like the variety that's offered, and the chance to snag good brands at lower prices, especially when the sales roll around with their color-coded discounts. I guess the cleanliness and condition of the stuff is something people mention positively, which makes sense, and some customers are even into consigning their stuff there. Even better, many are making good money for the items they sell. I heard somebody say that the staff was even thoughtful enough to offer to watch their baby while they ran stuff out to the car. I guess some reviewers have pointed out that some of the used clothing is priced kind of high, and there have been some notes about not-so-great customer service, or issues with what items the store will take for consignment; but overall, it sounds pretty good.

People who shop here likely want clothes that have a performance focus geared toward various activities.

#52 Sisters Jewelry & Gifts

Friday: [11:30 AM-7 PM], Saturday: [11:30 AM-7 PM], Sunday: [Closed], Monday: [11:30 AM-7 PM], Tuesday: [11:30 AM-7 PM], Wednesday: [11:30 AM-7 PM], Thursday: [11:30 AM-7 PM]
Sisters Jewelry & Gifts, nestled in Greensboro, appears to be a standout boutique. The shop carries a surprisingly wide range of stuff, moving from jewelry and apparel to little trinkets and even incense - its really all over the place. You can snag delicate gemstone earrings, browse tapestries with cool patterns, snag some stylish clothing that might just become your new favorite and they sell those incense sticks, which, honestly, I don't understand why they're not more popular. Finding genuinely special, individual items isn't always easy, but this might be your spot; some consider it a go-to, especially when scouting a decent clothing store in Greensboro. If leaving your house feels like too much, they have a website going that seems pretty convenient, I wonder if I can window shop without feeling guilty?
Customers rave quite a bit about the distinct, high-quality jewelry selection at Sisters, and apparently the prices don't rip you off, which is important. Then there's the diverse gift assortment, making it a contender for those "oh crap, I need a gift *now*" moments. From what I'm seeing, people seem to think the staff is generally friendly and helpful, which is a massive plus, even going as far as including little handwritten notes and extra gifts with online purchases – that's customer service. The atmosphere supposedly feels pretty welcoming, adding to its popularity, especially among college students and people searching for unique, memorable gifts. I saw a few reviews mentioning possible racial profiling and rude treatment by the owner, which, obviously, isn't okay. Also, it seems there's a shortage of plus-size clothing options, something I know some girls care about.

It's Fashion is a shop in Charlotte, I think, where you can find a huge selection of current clothes, shoes, and accessories that won't totally drain your bank account. They've got a bunch of stuff, even clothes for plus-size women and kids, plus all the jewelry. Sounds good for finding those on-trend pieces or even for when you need something to wear, you know, last minute. It might just be what you're looking for if your trying to find a cute and affordable outfit in Charlotte.
People have said that the customer service at It's Fashion is great, with employees being described as really friendly and helpful. The store is usually clean, organized, and has a nice arrangement of styles. And the low prices and ability to put together a really good fit without spending too much is really a win. Some love that clearance section too, and people have mentioned finding everything they need in one trip, but a few people felt the quality wasn't as great as it could be, with some reviews mentioning cheap materials. It’s also been reported that they don’t always have a wide enough selection of plus sizes.

#54 House of Swank
3915 Beryl Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607
House of Swank, located right in Raleigh, has been getting a lot of buzz. I've heard their designs are super creative, and they have this way of incorporating local humor into everything they make – from their super soft tees to those cute magnets. I think its the kind of store that makes you feel extra connected to the community.
People seriously rave about how soft and well-made the t-shirts from House of Swank are; a lot of positive reviews, really. I read some comments indicating that the diverse designs work for loads of different tastes. Customer service sounds awesome, too. There are some stories of them making shirts to order on the spot. It seems like the products they have there, especially the shirts, are an ideal present to get friends and family and they are always so creative. Plus, they seem pretty committed to giving back to the community through supporting local charities, which is definitely a bonus. A few folks mentioned the shirts might not be *the most* durable or that it can be tricky to find larger sizes, but overall, it sounds like House of Swank is really well-loved.

Mitchell's Clothing Store is seriously a Greensboro staple for menswear. They've been doing their thing for ages, offering basically everything a guy could need from hats and shoes to shirts, suits, even ties. The best part? It's been family-run for years, and word is they have a crazy-good selection of hats and good quality stuff without totally breaking the bank. So, if you’re trying to spice up your wardrobe with some unique stuff, it could be worthwhile to check them out.
People consistently rave about the service you get from Mr. Mitchell and his son, Joe. I've heard folks mention that they're super helpful, and have a knack for helping you nail that perfect fit. What's neat about the store is it apparently has this old-school vibe that takes you back in time, which is kind of cool. I heard one person say that they felt they were at Olivanders Wands, as he searched through the hundreds of hats, pulling out the right ones every time. There was this one review, though, mentioning that maybe they weren't as understanding of different styles, and someone else thought the layout wasn't super accessible.

Ovando Fashion Western Wear seems like a pretty solid choice if you're in Durham and are looking to find some Western-inspired gear. From what I've gathered from other peoples reviews, it sounds similar to a huge department store, but just western-themed. They apparently have everything ranging from denim jeans to boots, hats, and even jewelry for men, women, and kids. A few reviewers mentioned they carry all the name brands and the denim selection alone seems worth checking out, particularly if you are in the Carolinas.
I mean, based on reviews it seems the staff is friendly, helpful, and know their stuff, which is always a plus. A lot of people rave about the boot and denim selection, plus the quality and fit of their jeans is something that people comment on. There are a few reviewers who thought the accessories could be overpriced for the quality and mentioned issues regarding returns, so just make sure you're fully set on your purchase before you check out. Overall, though, the positive reviews seem to outweigh the negative, making it a good place to check out if you're in the market for western wear.

Dress, a consignment shop here in Raleigh, comes highly recommended if you're on the hunt for designer brands. I've heard the pieces are pretty unique. They seem to specialize in gently used, but stylish, designer and brand-name finds without the hefty price tag of buying new, so good news for my bank account, right? Supposedly, they have dresses, jewelry, shoes - a little something for everyone who wants to zhuzh up their closet with higher-quality items.
What I've read is, people really dig the staff at Dress – chill, not pushy, and always ready to lend a hand and it seems that they're a good resource. The selection of clothes for different occasions is another thing people bring up, along with the affordable prices on high-quality brands. Word on the street is that Dress has become some people's go-to for scoring amazing designer steals and I heard even a few boast almost their entire wardrobe's from there. Carter's in Winston-Salem is a spot that’s known for its baby and kids' clothes. Apparently you can find everything from everyday outfits to those super cute holiday ensembles, and everyone raves about the deals that you get with coupons and their rewards program. I mean, if you're a parent or grandparent looking for clothes that aren't going to fall apart after one wash, plenty of people seem to think this is *the* place to shop. Plus, they do sell some toys and shoes as well.
It seems like a lot of people consistently talk about how friendly and helpful the staff are, and how easy it is to find what you need in there, which is a major win in my book. Plus, the clothes are apparently durable enough to be hand-me-downs, which saves money in the long run. Another thing I know is that with in-store pickup being an option now, shopping online is easier than ever. Also, it's not all perfect; I've read some reviewers complaining about long checkout lines, and occasionally you'll run into an employee who isn't having their best day, and there may be limited restroom access, not to mention that some items can feel a bit pricey when compared to other stores.

#59 Unique Boutique
4830 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28205
Unique Boutique in Charlotte is a real find, I've heard. It's a specialty store focused on post-mastectomy care; they have everything from mastectomy bras to swimwear designed to help women feel confident post-surgery. Honestly, if you need that kind of support, especially after breast cancer, this place seems to be the spot. The goal, as I understand it, is helping women get back to feeling like themselves, which, let's face it, is so important.
Word on the street, though, is that the staff really makes the experience. You’ll constantly hear people praising the staff, Glenda, Sara, Melissa, Misty, Mary, and Vii - for understanding and fitting people well. Customers mention how friendly and knowledgeable they are, emphasizing they create this supportive environment that's super comforting when, you know, you might be feeling vulnerable. It's not just bras, either, some people claim the selection of swimwear and other garments is also great. Still, I've seen a few complaints scattered around; someone griped about an order issue, and another had problems with insurance claims; some customers mentioned sizing inconsistencies plus found it a little run down and the hours inconvenient.

JT Posh Luxury Consignment, located here in Charlotte, is apparently a cool place to check out if you're into scoring designer duds and accessories. They have a pretty sweet selection of pre-loved and new stuff, so you can find unique pieces that won't completely destroy your bank account. Word on the street is that they get some really cool brands from places overseas. It's a nice perk that they let you consign your own clothes for store credit, which is how I stay shopping without feeling bad.
Seriously though, people seem to *really* love JT Posh. A lot of the reviews mention that the selection of designer goods is amazing and everything is high quality. The store is kept very clean and is organized, making it easy to find what you are looking for. What's even better is the staff is friendly and seem pretty knowledgeable when you have questions about brands and trends; also, some people rave about how helpful they are in finding outfits for certain events. Cato Fashions in Greensboro? It's a decent option if you're looking for women's clothing near me. They have a pretty broad selection, which is cool, and I think they usually have some plus sizes and petite stuff. The prices aren't bad, and I've heard they have sales pretty often; plus, they do that layaway thing, which is helpful when you're a bit short on cash. Apparently, their whole vibe is "real clothes for real women," I guess.
People seem to enjoy the customer service, which is always a plus. You know, when the staff is nice and don't ignore you. Many reviewers pointed out that the place is usually clean and organized, and they have a solid range of styles; I heard someone mention they have good accessories, especially. Some people noted some difficulties with finding smaller sizes, though, which kinda sucks. Additionally, a few customers had some issues with fabric quality, and I guess some felt that their dress selection isn't great.

Uptown Cheapskate in Durham is a surprisingly great option when you're on the hunt for clothes without breaking the bank. They've got a decent selection of gently used stuff, like Lululemon and Free People, but its generally not your average thrift store prices, you know? I heard they're pretty selective about what they take, which is why the clothes they have are actually worth buying. It's suppose to be fairly easy to find exactly what you're looking for with their organization, which is a big plus, I have to say.
Word on the street is that the staff at the Durham location are total sweethearts, always super helpful which is always a bonus. People seem to appreciate how easy it is to both buy and sell clothes there, with some even scoring pretty decent payouts for their stuff or choosing store credit to find something new (or new to them). While most people highlight the cleanliness and name-brand clothes at good prices, it's not a perfect place, for a few people the selling process wasn't so great, with reports of payouts changing, items going missing, or concern about limited clothing sizes that they take in.

Hamrick's in Raleigh is apparently a place where you can snag some pretty decent clothes. It sounds though they carry a pretty good selection for both men and women, which includes plus sizes too! Plus, from what I've read online, they sell shoes and a bunch of home stuff, so basically a one-stop-shop for some.
People really seem to rave about their deals and the overall quality, who doesn't love a good sale? The senior discount keeps popping up in reviews, as do the frequent markdowns they're always running, and I have also read that people can find things there that other stores don't carry. Also, the employees there is apparently nice, and everyone appreciates a good customer experience, you know? Macy's Backstage in Greensboro's basically a department store, but you can often stumble upon deals on clothing, shoes, housewares, plus they have gifts. It's kinda like TJ Maxx or Ross, I think, because the whole point is the discounted prices, but it's within the existing Macy's, which is pretty cool because it's like two stores in one. Some people have called it a great place to find those hidden gems you wouldn't expect, I guess.
What I hear is that people are really happy with the prices, but that might not be true for everyone, and you can find some really great deals and designer stuff for way less. Plus, a lot of people say the staff are super nice and helpful, mostly when it comes to making returns and questions about fragrances. It has a wide range of stuff; clothing, shoes, luggage, housewares, what have you. I think it seems good for people who enjoy treasure hunting; maybe one thing: some people have said it can get messy, and it's not always easy to find someone to help you, and that it needs some updates in style.

I've heard they have two store locations plus online shopping, which is great when you are in a time crunch. From what I've heard, it's *the* place to go if you are looking for something stylish without totally breaking the bank.

Hibbett Sports in Charlotte, from what I gather, sells athletic gear, shoes, and all that jazz. Word on the street is they've got a decent selection of sneakers, including the big names you would expect, and some sporting goods, too, I guess in case you need a new soccer ball or something. Sounds like they're trying to stay up-to-date with new releases, which is cool, right?
The thing I've heard most about Hibbett is the customer service, or at least, the good experiences people have had. So many people mention how helpful and friendly the staff are, even naming employees who went above and beyond; that's pretty rare to find. Others have said that it's easy to find what you need. I heard they do online ordering and send out coupons which makes the whole experience better. Though, I heard a few complaints floating around about slow deliveries, customer service issues and employees being rude. I can't imagine that smelling cannabis inside the store can be a good thing either. Honestly, there are many more positive reviews than negative reviews. Expressions Scrubs & Shoes, located around Greensboro, is a really popular spot for anyone in the medical or culinary field because they literally have everything you could need in terms of uniforms and shoes. The best part is probably the insane scrub selection. So many colors and brands, with sizes that actually fit a range of body types? I think it's a go-to for those that need plus sizes or petite fits. You can also find chef pants, which is super convenient if you're looking to keep all your workwear shopping in one place.
I've heard people constantly rave about the customer service, honestly. People are quick to mention Sandy, Francesca, Ceiera, Connie, and Mandy specifically. Seems that they know their stuff and are patient when you have no idea what size you are in each brand. Also, its important to note that this place has many sizes in stock. Although I've seen some customers mention that the prices are a bit higher than what you might find online. A few folks have also had trouble finding tall pants in certain brands which kinda sucks for them.

Vaguely Reminiscent is this cool, kinda quirky gift shop and clothing store nearby in Durham, and they really cram so much cool stuff into a small space. They're known for a really eclectic collection of jewelry, and I've heard their earrings are amazing, plus accessories, greeting cards that aren't total garbage, socks, home stuff, toys, games, plus clothes and shoes that people say are comfy. The vibe is very much about gifts and things you really won't find everywhere, kind of focused on local makers, which is great for getting something that will suit anyone.
People tend to say the staff is super nice, and are willing to bend over backwards, which is a huge plus, I think. Lots of folks really dig that they always have the perfect little trinket for any occasion and that they're so diverse. I heard there was one review someone thought the staff watches too closely which feels accusatory but, on the flip side, it has been around for almost 40 years and someone said the staff knows where to find everything. Anyway, I am really curious about the "saint candles" with pictures of authors on them.

Soma in Greensboro, they are apparently *the* place to go when you're on the hunt for cute intimates, loungewear, and all that jazz, particularly bras. You can usually find a good selection with different styles, I've heard they're especially good for those of us who struggle finding our sizes. And I get the impression the price point, it seems pretty reasonable, which is always a plus when you're stocking up on comfy basics and things like leggings.
Seriously, people can't stop talking about the customer service at the Friendly Center location. I've seen a bunch of shout-outs for employees; Connie, Emily, Bethany, Jaysha, Lisia, Laura, Emma, and Sarah. People are saying they were extremely helpful with bra fittings and just, overall, made the experience way less stressful, which, let's be real, bra shopping can be a total nightmare. While a few folks have mentioned issues with being ignored or return shipping costs, the overall vibe seems super positive; several even go so far as to say it is the best clothing store in Greensboro.

Runway Mens Wear in Winston-Salem is clearly a go-to spot for guys needing anything from a chill weekend outfit to a really sharp suit. What’s awesome is the reviews keep mentioning how helpful the staff is; like, people are saying they actually know their stuff and will help you find the perfect fit, which is such a lifesaver, honestly. It sounds more than just a store; it sounds more like a place where they really care about helping you look your best, and you know that's half the battle.
The customer service is also something people bring up over and over. It seems like they really make an effort to make you feel welcome and will go that extra mile with selections, sizes, and putting together outfits. I read a few reviews that mentioned they were able to find sizes for tall men there, which is actually great for a lot of people; plus some guys get great deals. I did see a couple of negative reviews scattered in there, things got pretty ugly, but overall the general vibe seems overwhelmingly positive.

They carry a huge selection, which is key – everything from everyday stuff to suits, plus shoes too, so you can actually put together a whole look. I heard they specialize in larger sizes, going up to 6X, and offer longer lengths, but they have more up to date fashion styles.
People are really raving about the customer service, which honestly is half the battle when shopping. It's nice to know that associates such as Luz, Qui Robinson, Alan Stimpson, Cameron, Christopher, Lee, Barbara, Allen, Antonio, and Alex get a lot of love for being helpful. Apparently, they're great at giving advice on fitting and style, and that they make shopping an enjoyable experience, according to the reviews. Uptown Cheapskate in Winston-Salem seems to have a pretty decent reputation as a resale store; it stocks a broad range of gently used clothes, shoes, and accessories. People report finding name-brand goodies and on-trend styles without totally breaking the bank, which is always a plus. It's worth a look if you're trying to keep your wardrobe fresh but you don't wanna spend a small fortune, I guess.
Customers rave about the staff being super friendly and helpful; a lot of them say the store's clean and organized, which is a big deal. I get annoyed when I have to rummage through other thrift stores. Plus, they appreciate the opportunity to sell their clothes for either cash or store credit – a lot of people seem to take advantage of that. Though a few people had issues with inconsistent buyback offers and maybe some not-so-nice employees especially with mask enforcement, the store is generally known for its great atmosphere.

Buckle in Greensboro appears to be a spot where you can find current styles, carrying a range of clothes for both guys and girls; everything from jeans and tops to boots and different accessories, and from what I hear they've even started dabbling in kids' clothes. Some people mention their men's cologne too, saying it's surprisingly good, and while maybe a touch expensive, the quality seems worth it.
Honestly, the real draw seems to be the people working there because, seriously, I see review after review raving about the customer service, with people calling out employees by name; Jonathan, Carly, Lexi, Amber, Sara, Karlee, Andy, McKenna, Suze, and Raphael. The amount of love for the staff's helpfulness, remembering people's tastes, and actually caring about finding a good fit is what people appreciated. The people working there go above and beyond. Of course, a few shoppers have raised concerns about the price point, but overall, it seems to be a pleasant place to shop.

Duluth Trading Company in Greensboro is where you find clothes that last, not those trendy fast-fashion pieces. You'll find workwear, but also active and comfy casual stuff for both men and women. It's kinda like a general store too, because they have dog stuff, tools, and random gadgets, which I think is neat. What's cool is they're known for quality that holds up, and they have a lot of sizes, with a clearance section if you're on a budget, which who isn't?
People always talk about how great the staff is, like they actually try to help instead of just point you in a direction. The prices are higher than places, but I guess when something lasts it's worth it right? There's folks appreciate the fact that their store is neat, clean, and they stock a lot of unique items and online orders can be shopped in the store. Of course, I've heard that some think it's too pricey, maybe a little cramped, or that the employees are a bit too eager sometimes. But hey, you can't win them all, right?

I heard people really dig that place because prices are on point, the clothes are pretty hip, and they have loads of different styles. So many appreciate when the staff is kind and helpful because it always makes shopping more fun. Plus, it appears that a bunch of customers have mentioned it being a great spot for snagging summer clothes or finding those truly unique pieces, I'm wondering what they mean by that. There are a couple of people who noted some negatives, such as rude people working there, messy store setup, no dressing rooms – can you believe it – and that plus size selection could be better.

Hot Topic in Winston-Salem is that shop in Hanes Mall where you can usually find something cool if you're searching for band tees or anything related to anime. It’s definitely geared toward teens and young adults looking for clothes that are a little different, maybe a little edgier, so it's a pretty popular spot. I think they do really well in carrying a variety of fandom merch and unique jewelry options that are hard to find elsewhere, though perhaps some would consider the prices a little too high.
What's really cool is that customers tend to rave about the employees there, which is always a great sign. You know, apparently, some people even call out specific employees by name because their customer service was that good? It is always good to hear people being praised. It’s a smaller store from what I've been told, which could get crowded but I've also heard they really try to maximize the space they have with the stock that they carry. People may be bothered by it, but I guess it’s a really packed store with lots of options!

They design some unique things in house too, which is pretty cool. I've heard they get new arrivals often, so the inventory is always being changed.
People rave about how nice the staff is at Lilbelle, especially this Lily, who apparently owns the place. They're really good at helping you put outfits together, offering personalized styling advice, or finding the perfect gift, even if you don't know what you're looking for. It's that attentive service where you don't feel pressured to buy something that really appeals to me, a lot of folks compliment the clothes quality for a reasonable price, the unique finds, and the overall vibe. They sell, you know, clothes, stuff for your home—the whole shebang, really making it an easy place to get what you need. It's a discount store, but that doesn't mean it's a bad store.
Word on the street is that Roses is great because of their customer service. People seem to think they always have discounts, and the stuff they carry is of decent quality. Lots of reviews mention that it's clean, organized, plus they have associates that are friendly, so that makes it even better. The location is convenient, and they even carry items you can't find anywhere else. It creates, reportedly, a pleasant and inviting experience in the store for shoppers to enjoy. New Balance in Winston-Salem is this retailer that sells shoes and athletic clothes, primarily New Balance gear, I'm told. It looks like they carry a pretty decent selection of New Balance shoes, including inserts and some workout apparel. I've heard that they are really good at getting you into the right fit; they even use this foot-scanning thingamajigger to make sure the shoes work for you. Apparently, they're helpful too if you have special foot needs, such as wider sizes or needing extra support.
Customer service is one of the big things people mention regarding this store; many people say the staff is super helpful and really knows their stuff. Some folks even name-drop employees, which is nice, like Travis, Kurt, Alicia, Dee, Jenn, Kiah, and Luke; they are spoken well of regarding being patient, knowledgable, and assisting with sizing or foot issues. I did notice that some people had problems with returning items and didn't feel the level of service was on par with other's experience. Still, I saw far more reviews mentioning exceptional encounters with the foot scanner and the general helpfulness of the team, so it's good to know there are generally positive shopping experiences.

Revolver Consignment Boutique sounds like a cool spot for scoring gently-used designer clothes and accessories in Raleigh. From what I hear, they’ve got a pretty good range for both guys and gals, with lots of business casual looks for men, too. The staff seem super friendly, plus there is a resident dog. They carry a decent selection of jewelry; some of it's vintage, but other pieces are from local artists, which is always a plus, right?
People have said they found some truly unique pieces there, sometimes even brand new with tags still on them, perfect for sprucing up your wardrobe. Though it is true some consignors felt the consignment process was confusing, maybe even frustrating, and I’ve heard that some shoppers think the prices are kind of high. I've also heard some complaints about the lack of plus sizes and confusion over the store's discount system. Still, the consensus seems to be that Revolver's a great place to find high-quality stuff that isn't in all the malls.

Boris & Natasha is this spot in Charlotte that I've heard has a really cool, eclectic vibe, almost Greenwich Village-y, you know? They have clothes and jewelry and shoes and the whole deal for everyone, men and women, so that's pretty awesome if you and your partner have different styles but want to shop together. Seriously, people say if you're trying to find something fly and sexy and different, it's definitely a place to check out for unique pieces.
Word on the street is their jewelry is legit, really unique, and the customer service is supposed to be great, especially from Hope, the owner, who apparently gives personalized styling advice; if that's the case, that's a great way to get repeat business. A lot of people are saying you can find pieces there that you seriously won't see anywhere else, and there are customers that have been going there for like, ages; sheesh. The designs seem to have a rock star edge, which sounds super fun! However, some people have talked about maybe feeling it’s a bit pricey. I mean, what boutique is cheap these days? Then again, not everyone's had a perfect experience, with some saying that they were treated unfairly or felt like they were being watched, which nobody wants.

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Charlotte is a solid option when you're looking for secondhand finds, from clothing to furniture and home goods. You can find items for the whole family too. And they often run sales, especially if you keep an eye out for the color-coded tag discounts, which can save you some serious cash. Stock changes over so regularly, because people are constantly dropping off donations, that it makes repeat visits worth it, especially if you're all about snagging a bargain. Just be sure to inspect clothes for any flaws; they staple the tags on and it can be a pain taking them off without causing damage.
Most people seem to have pretty good things to say about the place, especially the staff, who are apparently super friendly and helpful. I read that people also appreciate how organized and clean it is, which is always a plus for a thrift store, right? Plus, the thrill of discovering unique or name-brand items at those prices is always worth it. Sure, some people feel that its prices can be higher than some of the other thrift stores around and a few reviewers have mentioned issues with the donation pick up service, so it seems that it is not always a positive experience.

Raleigh Denim Workshop + Curatory is this really cool place in Raleigh that's known for making high-quality denim, jeans, and everything else. They have different styles and fits, and it's clear they put a ton of effort into making each pair just right and if you're a denim person, I think you'd agree. What's neat is they do the whole manufacturing thing right there, so you get a peek into how it all comes together and I believe you can request for them to hem your jeans onsite.
People say the jeans there are truly amazing, the fit and feel is next-level and a lot of people are saying they're the best. There's a real appreciation for the fact that the products are American-made, using materials sourced closer to home. The staff are usually super knowledgeable and helpful, too; people have mentioned they get personalized fit advice, it is something you don't typically experience in many other places. The vibe of the store itself is also a plus; it's got this industrial kind of charm that manages to also feel modern. Even though there’s few customers who's had a negative experience with pricing or thought customer service was lacking, I'd say the majority of people seem super happy with what they buy and the whole shopping experience.

If you're trying to find a sporting goods store in the area, Hibbett Sports should def be on your list of options to check out.
A lot of people compliment the team that works at Hibbett; that they're friendly, attentive, and super helpful. Specifically mentioning people who went above and beyond is a common theme. It seems many have had smooth experiences with their online orders, exchanges, and getting their stuff shipped pretty quickly. People seem to appreciate the shoe selection and the store's atmosphere. Some people have said they actually prefer it over stores such as Dick's Sporting Goods. Simply 10, which is pretty close by, is a popular spot for women's clothing in Charlotte due to its trendy, inexpensive pieces. They seem to always have such a great selection of clothes, shoes, jewelry, and accessories that don't break the bank with many items being $10 or less. You can basically find anything ranging from casual wear to dressier outfits, and the plus size options really make it appealing to a lot of people looking for deals on clothes. Definitely double check the price tag, though, especially on clearance items before buying because I have heard they can get them wrong on occasions.
People really give Simply 10 props for the amazing prices, diverse selection, and the ability to find fashionable clothes even if you're on a budget. Lots of customers mention the frequent new arrivals, Mondays are apparently the day to go, also the stores are well-organized. Rainbow Shops in Raleigh seems to have a decent reputation as a place to snag some trendy pieces, especially if you're into bright colors and a variety of styles. I've seen that they carry plus sizes which is super cool, and they've got clothes for kids too, which is great for moms who need to do some one-stop shopping and they like the convenience. It seems shoe availability could be better, as I've heard some people are wishing they stocked a broader range of shoe sizes as people need different sizes for different occasions.
A lot of the reviews I've read mention the staff being really friendly, which is always a huge plus - I mean, who wants to shop somewhere with grumpy employees?. You know, helpful staff is key to a nice shopping experience and who isn't looking for a relaxing experience. Other people have mentioned that the store is usually pretty well-organized, and I'm sure it can be a major win for customers seeking deals, especially when they have sales; even if their return policy isn't the best for everyone. REI in Greensboro is a solid spot for finding pretty much anything you need for outdoor adventures. They have a really extensive collection of clothing, from performance wear to shoes, which are great for hiking, camping, and all sorts of other things, plus the usual equipment for more intensive activities like paddling or backpacking. One thing I've noticed is they seem to really focus on having a great selection of quality brands I trust too. It really does carry gear for everything, whether you need to do an extensive backpacking trip or just want to make sure you're comfortable on a weekend camping trip with your family.
What I really appreciate about the Greensboro REI based on everything I've read is the employees. People rave about how friendly and helpful they are, and they always seem super knowledgeable about the products. Reviewers often mention specific employees who went out of their way to assist them which I think speaks volumes about their customer service, but I have also seen some reviews mentioning that prices can get a little steep compared to other places, but I guess the quality of the products and the expertise of the staff balances that out. Overall, you can find decent sales from time to time. I have heard the membership can be worth it if you shop there regularly as you earn some cash back.

S&S Menswear, situated in Winston-Salem, seems to be a pretty good spot for menswear. They carry lots of options, from suits to dress shirts and all the accessories you could need. I think they focus on formal stuff mostly, but there’s a bit for everyone; prom, weddings, anything special where you need to look sharp. Plus, they apparently have styles ranging from classic to pretty unique, and some reviewers mention options for boys. Oh, and apparently, they have tailoring services in house, which is nice so you don't need to go elsewhere for alterations.
Honestly, the reviews I read all raved about the customer service, which is always a bonus. A lot of people mention how friendly and helpful the staff is, with shoutouts to Sunny, Sapna, Misty, Greg and Mrs. Dees – it seems they really go the extra mile to help you find what fits, even if you are completely lost on style. Finding everything you need for an entire outfit in one place is something I appreciate. Although, I did see some negative comments mentioning incorrect orders and disappointing service, mostly related to wedding attire, but it does seem like the positive experiences far outweigh the bad based on most reviews, so I'm not sure it's a major problem.

Talbots in Winston-Salem is, from what I hear, a solid option if you're hunting for classic women's clothing that's well-made. You know, pieces you can actually wear to work, or dress up just enough for a nice dinner. Word on the street is that they specialize in timeless styles and good fabrics, which can be hard to come by these days. I think a lot of their target shoppers are ladies looking for a more sophisticated vibe, but be forewarned - I don't believe they have a men's section.
It sounds like a lot of people have great shopping experiences there. People rave about the employees being genuinely helpful and attentive. One thing that keeps being brought up is how pretty the store looks and that it's easy to find what you're looking for. Adrienne seems to be the name that keeps popping up in reviews, people keep saying how knowledgeable and nice she is. I wonder what she does... Anyway, yeah, I've read a few reviews pointing out inconsistent sizing, which is always a bummer; and some complaints about the shipping policy and occasional less-than-stellar customer service interactions.

Nyoni Couture seems to be *the* spot in Charlotte for men wanting a wardrobe that turns heads, based on what I've gathered. They specialize in tailoring suits, shirts, shoes, and even accessories, with options whether you want fully bespoke or something off the rack. It sounds like they really lean into a European vibe with their designs and using quality fabrics, which makes sense given the price tag. Whether it's a wedding, a business event, or just wanting to elevate your everyday style, the reviews online indicates they have something for pretty much any occasion, and apparently you are going to get plenty of compliments.
What's really popping off in the reviews is the customer service, though there is some negative reviews too. It sounds like Nyoni, the owner, is super involved and has a real eye for detail, which people appreciate. A lot of reviewers mention feeling like they got a personalized experience, especially with getting the perfect fit. Now, there were a few comments here and there about scheduling issues, communication gaps, and some alterations hiccups, and even a few folks felt the prices weren't as "modest" as suggested. At the end of the day, this business seems to be a hit, and the overall sentiment is that Nyoni Couture is a good option if you're after a sophisticated and timeless look.

If you're looking for stuff that might last a long time, then yeah, I guess you should see what Eddie Bauer's got.
Lots of people have had good experiences with the staff there; reading some reviews, I saw a lot of praise for employees being super helpful with things such as sizing, or helping with returns/exchanges. I'm seeing a lot of people say that the store is tidy, plus they seem to have a good range of sizes and styles too, so finding something should be easy. Some folks mention the guarantee that they don't necessarily do anymore, which used to be great, and the prices are not cheap, but if you find stuff on sale then it could be worth it.

Spencer's in Winston-Salem isn't your average store; it's got a weird, fun vibe. I've heard they're the place to go if you need, say, a funny t-shirt or a totally random gift that you wouldn't find anyplace else. From what I can gather, they're known for stocking gag gifts, retro merch, and those edgy things you'd never buy anywhere else. The variety is pretty big, even carrying piercing jewelry, posters, and just silly stuff.
It's good to know that people generally compliment the staff, since friendliness is really important to me; customers mention they're helpful and willing to answer questions, especially if you’re new to piercings and gauge care. From what I've seen, the retro items and quirky clothes are a draw for all ages, and the atmosphere sounds like it would definitely give you a laugh. I think one person did have a bad experience related to payment, but I guess you have to be diligent at every store.

Finish Line, located right here in Winston-Salem, specializes in athletic wear; specifically, they have tons of shoes. I see that people have had decent luck finding sportswear and trendy stuff there, but the sneaker selection is where they really shine, showcasing the big brands -- Nike's Air Max and Jordans always seem to be the highlight. They usually carry a wide range of styles; maybe I should check them out since people say they're always having a sale.
Based on what I've read, it sounds as though the staff really makes a difference, especially when you're on a mission to find the perfect fit or just exploring all their stuff. Thomas, Mark, and Omar get name-dropped a lot because they can actually point you in the right direction, even if the store's packed. Apparently, the store also gets cool limited-edition sneakers a lot. There have been some who have complained about bad service and high prices, though, and it's worth noting that online orders and returns can be a hassle.

The Goodwill on University Parkway in Winston-Salem is, from what I hear, a massive spot to score some secondhand treasures. You know, the kind of place where you can spend a solid hour just browsing. Plenty of folks mention how great it is if you are looking for clothes, and apparently they always have a good selection of women's stuff. Other reviewers mention it is the perfect place to find items to decorate first apartments or even housewares to repurpose for art projects, how cool is that? I've been told that the staff is helpful but I guess it depends on who you get.
What's really nice is that people say it's usually kept pretty clean, which is a definite plus compared to some other thrift stores in the area. I mean, who wants to dig through musty, disorganized racks? While the prices might be a little high on certain items, it appears a lot of people feel finding unique things at low prices is worth it. Some reviewers have noted that the prices can be inconsistent, but for the most part, people are finding great deals on clothes and household items that make it worth a visit.

Dillard's in Winston-Salem, located inside Hanes Mall, carries just about everything. It's pretty much a one-stop shop for clothes, shoes, jewelry, makeup, home stuff--you name it. They've got a mix of stuff, too, from everyday basics to fancier pieces, and I hear they're a go-to when it's prom season, if you want to find some decent options. For a department store with a bunch of brands, Dillard's ain't bad.
People often say the staff is super friendly and helpful, which is definitely a plus when you're actually looking for something. Apparently, Shayna, Lillet, Robin, Bonnie, Chad, Jeff, and Mirka get mentioned a lot for doing a great job, so props to them. I’ve heard the store's kept pretty tidy and organized, and that they run great sales, so it's worth checking out when seasons are changing. It seems the staff makes an extra effort to help you find what you're searching for, which is surprisingly rare these days.

Maurices is this clothing store in Winston-Salem that seems to carry just about everything a woman could need. Honestly, it sounds like a pretty great place to find something comfy for running errands or even a cute outfit for a night out. Ideally, you'd wanna find a store that just *gets* you, ya know?
I always love hearing about stores where the staff is genuinely helpful, it sounds like a lot of people have had great experiences with the associates there. It's really awesome when employees go above and beyond to help you find the right fit or suggest new styles; some people specifically mentioned Olivia and Willow for being super attentive. Of course, you always hear mixed reviews, it’s just part of the deal, some people have said the rewards program can be a headache and that the service isn't always consistent, but the positive comments on the clothing selection and the fit are definitely a good sign.

The Target near NC State on Hillsborough is super convenient, and honestly, it's a lifesaver. While it's definitely smaller than your average Target, the selection is really good considering the size, especially if you need something quick. They somehow manage to cram in clothing, home stuff, even fresh groceries – it's kinda impressive, tbh. Also, the staff's been really friendly anytime I've been there and that helps a lot.
For a smaller store, it's surprisingly well-stocked, and you can usually find what you need, which is why people enjoy it. I've heard that the parking situation can be a bit of a hassle, particularly when it's busy, and you might find prices being somewhat higher. Regardless, many find this Target to be one of their favorites, since it's easy to get in and out of.

K&G Fashion Superstore in Greensboro seems to be a reliable spot if you're on the hunt for clothes; they've got a pretty extensive selection covering men's, women's, and kids' styles, with a strong focus on dressy stuff and suits, however, they do carry casual pieces, too. From what I gather, prices are usually pretty fair, plus it sounds like they run some really good sales now and again, mostly on suits and dress clothes from what I hear. Oh, and a huge plus is that they do tailoring right there, which is clutch and apparently they have a good selection of big and tall sizes, which is awesome.
Word on the street is the staff is super helpful, and lots of people call out specific employees by name – someone named Elijah, Jack, Jennifer, even a John seems to be consistently mentioned as doing a great job. Having tailoring available in the store is a major win for alterations. People seem to appreciate that they carry things for all sorts of events and occasions, whether it's for church, going out, or just needing some professional outfits, and for the whole family, no less. Some people have said it's their absolute favorite because the deals are so good, not that it matters what everyone else thinks, right? I guess if you have to nitpick, a few folks have brought up inconsistent sizing issues, or they weren't really pleased with the cashiers or some clothes looked outdated.

Honestly, a lot of people rave about the customer service, which can really make or break a shopping trip. Shout out to employees such as Malik, Corey, Tim, Desiree, Alexus, Emoni, Shonda, and Timbo, for being total rockstars for making customers feel welcome. I guess some have had issues, with like, slow service and stuff, and I did see a review where someone complained about a strong weed odor... but from what I saw, for the most part, a lot of people seem happy, especially if they had trouble finding the right size and ordering online.

OldNews Vintage, nestled in Charlotte's NoDa neighborhood, is a popular spot for vintage clothing. They have a lot of options. Plus, if you're on the hunt for a truly unique vintage find, OldNews consistently pops up as a great choice, not that I've been or anything.
Reviewers really compliment OldNews Vintage, especially about its large inventory, one-of-a-kind finds, and staff. People mention Carter, Christian, Nick, and Anna frequently when praising customer service. The reviews are overall pretty great, many mentioning the cool vibe and the fun music, and I've heard prices can be pretty fair, especially if you catch a sale. Style Encore in Winston-Salem seems to be a popular spot for secondhand finds, with a lot of reviews mentioning their selection of gently used clothes. The inventory includes a range of styles, from everyday basics to designer labels, which I think is great, and they have a pretty decent plus-size section too, which isn't always the case. People tend to rave about the organization; it's all color-coordinated, so I'd bet it's easy to find what you're looking for.
The reviews also highlight how helpful the employees are, and I appreciate it when you don't have sales associates constantly hovering but are available if you need them. It sounds like they have good prices, and you can actually sell your clothes there for cash, which is more straightforward than dealing with online consignment drama, maybe I will go check them out to have some extra cash. Though I did see some comments about inconsistent buying practices and a few complaints about a smoke smell or clothes with defects - like, make sure to check what you are purchasing, and there might be some bad experiences with staff.

Their emphasis on community and boosting women really makes them stand out among stores that are similar.
It seems a lot of people rave about Girl Tribe’s atmosphere; they describe it as fun and super welcoming, which is what you want when trying on clothes. The staff gets mentioned quite a bit, especially Rose, Naomi, Ellie, Bella, and Sarah – reviewers consistently saying they’re helpful, sweet, or give off "cool older sister" energy which is awesome! The Marshalls in Winston-Salem is pretty well-known as having a really diverse range of stuff—clothing for everyone in the family, shoes, household goods, even dog toys and snacks, which is great for a quick stop, though the variety can be inconsistent. One thing I've noticed is that they seem to get good stuff that's pretty in-style. Also, their beauty product section is clutch. Discounted name brands make it a pretty budget-friendly, which is always a win, am I right?
What's great, there's always seems to be something new in stock, and the staff seems genuinely friendly and helpful. I mean, it's a little hectic sometimes with how busy it is, and I've seen some stuff about long lines; but honestly, the thrill of the hunt for a unique find is usually worth it. Belk in Winston-Salem is that one department store at Hanes Mall, you know? It's pretty massive, spanning multiple floors, and seemingly stocks everything you could possibly need. From what I gather, they have a really decent selection of clothes for everyone, guys, gals, and the kiddos; plus, they've got shoes, jewelry – all that jazz. Home goods and cosmetics are in the mix, too. Sounds as though you can find both name brands and Belk's own brand, and people seem to really dig their clearance sections for those sweet deals.

Reasonable prices and frequent sales are definite pluses for customers, and I've seen a lot saying they can always find what their looking for. I did see a couple of comments on the internet saying staffing sometimes gets a little stretched thin, though, which leads to longer waits, but a lot of reviewers love the helpful staff.

What people really seem to appreciate, though, is how helpful and nice everyone who works there are. The staff is always ready to help find the perfect fit and they know their stuff, which is appreciated when you’re trying to make a good purchase.
Word on the street is that they really value customer relationships and, honestly, that makes a huge difference. Plus, folks have mentioned how well they handled the whole COVID situation - extra clean, gloves for shoppers, the works. Now, there are some grumbles about specific sneaker drops and the customer service but I mean no place is perfect. Overall, it seems like it’s still *the* place to be if you’re into streetwear in Raleigh, don't you think?

Citi Trends in Greensboro offers a bit of everything, from clothes and shoes to jewelry and electronics, which is great when you need to get a lot of things and not drive all over. The prices are totally reasonable, they have styles that feel pretty current, and it seems they aim to have options for everyone, which I think is admirable especially if they are plus-size options. What's also nice is that they carry home goods and books, not every store does that. Also they always seem to have a clearance section, I think that you can find bargains there.
You know, I've heard a lot of good things about the staff, especially at the Summit Avenue spot; people seem to find them helpful and friendly which is always a plus, since sometimes the staff can be a dealbreaker. The layaway option sounds convenient too. It is really practical being able to find such a wide selection of items there. Of course, not all the reviews are great - some people have mentioned the store isn't always the most organized and that can make shopping a hassle. Aéropostale in Winston-Salem is pretty much known as a go-to for affordable clothes; they are mostly catering to the younger crowd. You can find jeans, shirts, and hoodies there. They even have Juicy Couture tracksuits sometimes, which is kinda nostalgic, right? People seem to consistently point out the good deals you can score, and it seems the sales are what really make it worth it, though I heard that prices aren't consistent. T.J. Maxx in Greensboro is, I think, a great place to score some deals, they have everything from clothes and shoes to stuff for your house and beauty products. You can usually find name brands for way less than at department stores, so it's ideal if you're trying to ball on a budget. Honestly, it's a solid spot to grab things for basically anyone in your family, I mean, even the dog can get something there. Honestly, if you are on the hunt for new fits in Greensboro, T.J. Maxx might have something for you, their inventory is always rotating, it's kind of a treasure hunt vibe if you know what I mean.
Most people rave about the steals and prices at T.J. Maxx, plus how you can discover all sorts of unexpected stuff. A lot of people enjoy browsing the variety and finding designer labels without breaking the bank, which is a big bonus. Many people enjoy their shopping experience because of the great staff, particularly if they got some really nice cashier, and the fact that you can bring your pets is also a draw. From what I understand, sometimes the lines are super long, and sometimes stuff can be a little messy or disorganized, I heard men's clothes may not have much variety. I also heard that sometimes that staff are rude or they could of been more professional, so that kinda stinks.

They're always running some kind of deal, too, which helps if you're balling on a budget. Plus, it's nice when you can snag some cute stuff for the kiddos without, having to pay a fortune.
What really gets me is when the staff is actually nice and makes you feel valued when you're shopping, it makes the experience. I've heard good things about the store being kept tidy, that's always a plus, and the idea that you can easily do online order pick-ups or returns right there makes things way easier. They’ve got a solid selection of tuxedos and suits to either buy or rent, which is super convenient, and they’re a great option for black tie events. Bernard's also offers on-site alterations as well as cleaning services, which, let’s be honest, is a lifesaver when you don't want to deal with running all over town.

Hamrick's is a Winston-Salem discount clothing store where you can find a surprising amount of stuff—clothes for everyone, shoes, home goods, even those "As Seen On TV" gadgets you didn't know you needed. Honestly, it might be worth a look if you’re hunting around for some fresh deals in that area. They apparently stock up name brands and pretty standard styles at decent prices, so that's good, and I've heard they always have sales and extra discounts for seniors, which is cool. It's located in the Market Place Mall, in case you didn't know.
It seems what really gets folks talking about Hamrick’s is the deals; tons of reviews rave about finding name-brand stuff, including shoes and stuff for your house, at crazy low prices. People go absolutely bonkers for the random "As Seen On TV" things and all the accessories and potential gifts they have, too. Plenty seem to think it's a great spot to hit up for clothes or if you need to snag a quick gift. But heads up—a few reviewers mentioned the checkout lines are sometimes long if it's busy, and the store can get a bit cluttered and cramped; plus some carts are always broken, so there's that. I'm just saying.

The T.J. Maxx in Winston-Salem seems pretty expansive, from what I've seen; it's got a ton of departments. I think it's that place with a good amount of name-brand stuff, you know, clothes, shoes, jewelry – things like that, however, you can also find home decor and even furniture. Honestly, it seems designed for people who are into finding nice things without emptying their bank account, which I think is most of us. The whole goal is to provide good stuff for less, making it a good spot if you like the thrill of finding hidden gems, especially in their home goods.
Honestly, one thing that comes up often is how big of a selection they had, including designer stuff at prices that are, supposedly, impressive. Lots of people mentioned how much fun they had discovering unexpected deals, especially in the handbag area or when they got home decor. People also mentioned how great the staff is and friendly too. I read at least one review mentioning someone specifically named Joanna and how lovely she was. There was a few complaints regarding disorganization and long lines too, but the store does get busy sometimes, right? Apparently the men's clothing department isn't as expansive as other sections, I heard they should put out more coats.

You can get everything from every day outfits to a nice bag and they have good customer service too. Finding that perfect store is all about what you're looking for, but don't sleep on Citi Trends if you are looking for a bargain.
Honestly, a lot of people rave about Citi Trends, specifically highlighting their deals and huge selection of, well, everything. Multiple reviews mention how friendly the staff is, you know, those cashiers who greet you with a smile when you walk in, which is always nice. People are really finding some cute things as well as the brands that they love. I hear they got luggage too, which is nice when you just need a simple suitcase. I have seen some people say the store can be disorganized and maybe certain sizes are hard to come by, but overall, it seems shoppers are happy about the selection and pricing.

704 Shop is a Charlotte store with really unique apparel, especially if you want to show some hometown pride. They're always coming up with cool designs that rep Charlotte and, you know, the 704 area code—everything from t-shirts to jackets. Seems like a lot of people think of it as the best place in the city to get some local gear, which I can understand. Word on the street is that you can even find them at local street fairs, isn't that neat?
Most of the reviews I've seen are really positive; people are always talking about the high-quality stuff, the overall style, which is nice to see. Many customers mentioning how friendly the staff are, sometimes even by name! Honestly, its so nice to hear when a business is doing things right with their team. People definitely appreciate how clean and organized the shop is, also the fact that the Camden location is convenient. I noticed that some have brought up limited online stock though, along with prices being a bit higher than expected for certain items, so maybe plan on a store visit instead!

Torrid's Winston-Salem spot is, I think, exclusively plus-size clothing for women, which, honestly, is necessary. They seem to carry a whole heap of stuff too – jeans, tops, all kinds of dresses, shoes, plus intimates. Their whole deal seems to be providing fashionable options for us who wear sizes 10 to 30, which is a total demographic that most regular clothing stores seem to forget about!
The reviews I've seen are usually raving about the staff; how they're super helpful and friendly, and go that extra mile to make your shopping experience good. I’ve seen people saying the store's clean and organized, which is a big plus; and that they have a pretty decent selection, particularly the bras, which apparently fit us ladies with bigger busts properly, which is important. You can easily return items online, which is convenient if you are someone who shops online. I heard some people have problems on occasion like the hours being inconsistent, or the stock lacking.

Lululemon in Greensboro is definitely a place lots of people seem to go for their workout clothes. What I hear most is that they've got a great selection of leggings, jackets, and tops that work just as well for hitting the gym as they do for just running errands. Word is, if you're looking for some good quality athletic wear, it's worth checking out to see what they have. But like, watch out for their Google hours cause people have said they aren't always right.
People constantly go on about the staff, how friendly and helpful they are. I saw several comments mentioning employees by name – Cindy, Sophia, Debs, Anna, Heather, and Holly – which is pretty cool. They seem to really go the extra mile to help you find the right fit, and people appreciate that they're honest with their opinions. It sounds like a clean, welcoming store overall. Of course, there are always a few complaints – some people have had issues with inconsistent service, problems with online orders and gift cards, and a couple even said they experienced rudeness. Plus, someone claimed that if you are a first responder and get a discount they might take it away if you are making a large purchase. But it sounds like most people are happy, and that a lot of folks return because the staff make it a good experience.

People seem to really appreciate the savings, but also the thrill of the hunt at Ross. I have heard tales of finding designer dresses and name-brand shoes at unexpectedly low prices. Plus, it is reportedly a go-to for affordable family clothes, home decor, and even surprisingly useful gift items. Sometimes the staff is great, with some people saying they are friendly and the store is clean and organized. It's all a bit hit or miss, right?

Rue21 in Winston-Salem is a place a lot of younger people go for clothes that don't cost a fortune and are in style. A major draw is definitely the price point; you can find amazing deals, especially if you dig through the clearance racks, which I heard they have! Plus, it's cool that they also stock plus sizes and have a men's section, as it makes it easier to find stuff for anyone.
People really seem to appreciate Rue21's sales; many mention the prices as a significant positive, especially where clearance finds are concerned. I've read comments about the staff being super friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to assist customers. Some have gone so far as to say it's their best clothing store. Of course, there are those who've pointed out the quality isn't always top-tier, maybe the store gets a little disorganized sometimes. However, on balance, people generally have favorable experiences.

It’s kind of a goldmine if you're trying to dress yourself or the family without totally blowing your budget on trendy, everyday basics. I guess it's a valid option if you're trying to save a little coin and need clothes for a reasonable price, specially if you're shopping for a bunch of people.
People generally say they have good prices plus awesome deals and that they have a HUGE selection of styles. Many seem to appreciate that the staff can be nice, that's always a plus and helps for a better shopping trip, they also carry different sizes. It's definitely a favorite spot for scoring kids' clothes on a budget, also plus-size options is something people love; it seems shoppers can usually find just what they need since they have lots of options for everyone. Charlotte's Belk is one of those dependable department stores. They seem to have a bit of everything; clothes for pretty much anyone, home goods, and the random perfume counter that always smells amazing. What I appreciate, looking at the reviews, is it seems you can find good sales, and that's always a win. Belk carries a decent amount of brands, a big plus, so everyone can find something that feels right to them.
It sounds similar to the reviews that a lot of the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, which is huge. There's nothing worse than feeling ignored when you're trying to find something, especially when you need help with sizes. One reviewer even called out an associate by name, which is awesome and rare. However, a lot of the reviews mention times when it was disorganized. I feel as if, if they were more organized, everyone would have a better experience.

A lot of people seem to dig Citi Trends because the prices are super reasonable and they have a good variety. Seriously, some have snagged designer perfumes for cheap. People mention how it's easy to find something for pretty much anyone in your family which is why I haven't gone yet (it's a dangerous place to take my family!). Plus, I've read that the workers are generally friendly and fast, and the selection of everyday clothes is pretty solid, if you can get over the occasional lack of shopping baskets, of course.

The T.J. Maxx in Durham is supposed to have great deals across a bunch of departments, including clothes, handbags, and stuff for your house, even gourmet food, I heard. You can apparently find some pretty good name brands without completely emptying your wallet, which is probably why people keep going back to it. If you're in Durham and are hunting for clothes, I've seen reviews where people said it's worth checking out because you might find something cool for a steal.
I've read that people rave about the prices and the range of stuff they sell, and the idea that you might stumble upon a designer label is really appealing. It seems to be kept relatively tidy, and they're good about stocking things regularly. I've even noticed certain reviewers specifically sing the praises of their handbags, shoes, plus the gourmet food selections. I heard some people found Prosperity and Sharise at the register to be exceptionally friendly and helpful, which is always a plus, because sometimes people are judging what you buy.

Abercrombie & Fitch in Winston-Salem? It's a store that has, I guess, what you'd expect: jeans, tops, shorts. They do carry stuff for kids, however; it's not exactly a huge selection, something to keep in mind. The brand is pretty well-known though, and some people will swear it's the best place around for clothes, talking about the quality. Though, admittedly, it can get a little pricey, and not everyone wants to pay those prices.
It sounds though if you go, find Sam or Shawn, seriously! Customers have raved about them both going that extra mile to help out with returns, or to locate certain items, and those are always a plus. Many seem to feel the store is well organized, and the quality can be nice, for sure. Okay, so maybe the cologne is a bit much. Some people aren't so thrilled with how dark it can be. Is it worth the money? Some may disagree, pointing to competitors that offer similar quality for less.

Anthropologie’s Charlotte location is definitely a retail spot with a vibe. You can find an assortment of things, clothing, house stuff, furniture, jewelry, even cute gifts. The way they decorate everything in the store makes it feel welcoming, doesn’t it? If you need a clothing store in the Charlotte area with clothes that is boho-leaning, or just have some different pieces, it's worth checking out, especially if you’re into trendy, high-quality finds.
People really seem to enjoy the unique and pretty stuff there. They often mention that the staff is super friendly, and some people even shouted out staff members, Marge and Liz. I hear the selection is awesome, the range of things they sell really is great, it can be clothes, stuff for your home, things for gifts, and often people can find something that is a total find. The sales get good reviews as well. It's good to note that a few people have had less great times when it comes to customer service, they mentioned staff being rude, and some even felt they were racially profiled, particularly with curbside pick up. The layout can feel a little crammed, and some shoppers thinks it’s a bit overpriced, too.

DTLR in Charlotte seems to be a place where you can find a decent selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories, at least according to reviews. Lots of people mention scoring some pretty good deals and prices, which, I mean, who doesn't appreciate saving a little cash? It sounds worth checking out if you're on the hunt for a specific style, especially shoes; several people mentioned being able to *always* find something there. Plus, hearing that several DTLR staff made great impressions is always a good sign - shoutout to the Wilkinson location and people like Christal and Bryon who go above and beyond. I'm a firm believer that good customer service can make or break an experience, so it is something to keep in mind.
On the other hand, a few folks have mentioned some less-than-stellar experiences. There seem to be some complaints about customer service being slow, or even rude, and difficulty with things such as exchanges, which is a bummer. Then there were some comments on wait times, which, yeah, that can try anyone's patience, so maybe try and get there early. It sounds as if most of the experiences were above average, so it is worth it if you are in the area.

Soma, located in Winston-Salem, is basically your go-to spot for all things lingerie, including bras, panties, and sleepwear. It's a store that focuses on women's intimate apparel, and apparently, they carry a decent range of sizes, which is always a win, isn't it? It seems that they are very focused on making sure you get a bra that fits well and is comfortable, which is a big deal, honestly, because nothing's worse than a bra that digs.
I've been hearing positive stuff about the service there, especially, with some people specifically calling out associates, such as Janet, Vicky, Darica, and Alexus - these names keep popping up! They all mention how these ladies went above and beyond to help them find the right stuff, sizes, and were really patient during the process, that's crucial when you just want to find that perfect item. Gabe's in Greensboro seems to be a decent discount department store, I guess. They supposedly have a pretty wide selection from clothes for everyone in the family to shoes and even housewares. Word on the street is you can score some good name-brand stuff there without completely emptying your wallet. From what I've gathered, it could be a one-stop shop if you're just trying to find some totally random things. If you are looking for clothes specifically, I heard they have lots, maybe check them out!
People seem to rave about Gabe's prices, and that they have a good selection; it's not surprising to hear that some customers find designer brands for way less than retail. It's also cool to hear that shoppers get a kick out of "the hunt" - that thrill of maybe finding something cool you weren't expecting. It sounds as if the staff is friendly and helpful too, or at least, that's what some of the reviews say. It also may depend on who you talk to. Plus, the rewards program can save you some extra cash. I saw there was one review that said they even offer senior discounts, which is so nice. I did see some people complaining about how messy or disorganized the store is but that's what some people expect I think.

Uptown Cheapskate over on Avent Ferry Road, yeah, I've heard good things. Apparently, they have a crazy friendly staff who are happy to help you hunt for what your looking for. What’s more is that they got a ton of clothes, especially if you're into NCSU gear, or need a cute jacket or coat for the winter, they're definitely stacked with outerwear. The cool thing, I'm told, is that you can sell them your gently used clothes, they'll give you cash or store credit.
People seem pretty happy with how quickly they process sales and, you know, the fact that they're keeping clothes out of landfills. Plus, they got some really cute clothes at prices that won’t kill your wallet, and the convenience of selling your old stuff is clutch. They remodeled fairly recently as well, making the whole shopping experience a little bit more sleek. I read that the store does get slammed, though, especially when people try to sell their clothes; some have said wait times were crazy long, and they didn't feel like the offers were that fair, which is a shame. Overall, I can see why it's so popular.

Simply Southern in Greensboro, yeah, they definitely lean into that Southern casual vibe, especially with those t-shirts. You know, the ones with the cute designs. I’ve heard some have scripture verses, which is neat if you are into that. They carry other stuff as well, dresses and hats I think, but it’s those tees that I notice most. Word is, they have quite a range, I've never been but my friends have mentioned that they sometimes have great sales. So if you're hunting for a good deal on Southern-style clothes in Greensboro, it may be worth a looksee.
Honestly, the reviews are kinda all over the place. Some people rave about the staff at the Friendly Center location, saying they are helpful and super friendly. Folks seem pretty happy finding good deals, especially when there's a sale going on; plus, a clean, organized store is always a win. But then you get others mentioning customer service issues, even saying some employees come off as rude. And there's been a couple of comments about mask policy enforcement and price discrepancies. I hear people score great deals all the time, too, finding awesome discounts on both designer stuff and everyday essentials. Charlotte's Marshalls is a pretty solid place to score discounted stuff for your closet and home, they do have some name-brand gems hidden among the racks. You can find clothes for literally everyone, plus makeup and little things for the house, so it's a mixed bag. Some people call it a "best clothing store" around here, mostly cause it's a bit of a treasure hunt, their inventory is constantly changing, which means you might find something amazing, or nothing at all; depends on the day, really.
For the most part, people seem to dig the prices and selection, and lots have said the staff is helpful, which is always a nice surprise. I’ve read reviews where folks actually shout out specific employees for being super nice, especially this one supervisor named Coney. It's cool when the store’s laid out well and is tidy, makes it easier to find those hidden gems, though there are always a few bad apples: some say it's hit or miss with what they actually have, or complain about lines, or mention some employees weren’t so friendly, and some customers have even brought up concerns about being profiled.

The Goodwill store in Winston-Salem is a pretty popular spot, and for good reason. You can find a lot of used stuff, occasionally some new things mixed in too, and it's always changing. They tend to have clothing for everyone, plus house stuff, books, electronics, and even toys, so it’s a total treasure hunt. Since their inventory is always updating, I hear that’s why it's the kind of place that's good for people who are trying to save a little, but not on quality.
Honestly, I've seen online that many people give it decent reviews, and that's probably cause of the friendly employees, and the fact that it's apparently usually pretty clean. Plus, if you're looking for good deals, and sometimes even name-brand stuff or unique finds for less, many have said it's a good place to go, there's just something to it. It's also supposedly convenient for donating when you're cleaning out your closet. But some have said there's occasional pricing problems; a few thought that certain items are maybe too expensive when you compare it to other stores. Also, there’ve been isolated reports on employees being rude, having weird odors in the store, or it taking a bit long to get into the fitting rooms. Generally, though, I keep hearing, people overall seem to have a pretty good experience shopping there.

Belk in Greensboro does have a pretty wide selection, you can find something for everyone in your family--clothing, shoes, jewelry, the whole shebang. I have noticed they carry both wallet-friendly options and pricier items, and who doesn't love a good sale; sometimes you can find killer deals. Honestly though, the inventory can be kinda hit or miss, but the customer reviews are generally positive and I think it would be a great place to shop.
Plenty of people seem to appreciate all the different clothing styles they have, with shout outs to the shoe department and the makeup counters, which is nice. They're also often commended for their employees, such as Adina, Amanda, Christine, Kim, Mark, Rashida, Tracey, and Vee; they are so helpful and create good vibes, right. Plus, people say the store’s usually neat, but I've also heard it can be hard to find someone to help, especially in the men's shoe section; you know, like when you're specifically looking for assistance. Then there is sometimes long lines to check out.

Free People in Charlotte provides a ton of bohemian-inspired stuff; it's clothes, shoes, the whole shebang for women. I have heard that people like the designs which are supposed to be this mix of chic and edgy, for the woman who's all about freedom. For anyone trying to locate a really cool, stylish store in Charlotte, that's a place you could definitely check into.
The staff are apparently very helpful, I've heard some people say they are amazing at Free People, which is always a plus, and it sounds like there is a welcoming vibe to the place. People really like how the store looks, that it’s organized well, and clean, because who wants to shop in a messy store? Plenty of people claim that the clothes are great quality, though, yeah, the prices seem high and you can get good sales. Now, I also see some reviews that were not so great, saying customer service was poor or that some felt racially profiled, and there seems to be complaints about parking.

#141 Marshalls
5438 New Hope Commons Dr, Durham, NC 27707
Friday: [9:30 AM-9:30 PM], Saturday: [9:30 AM-9:30 PM], Sunday: [9:30 AM-9:30 PM], Monday: [9:30 AM-9:30 PM], Tuesday: [9:30 AM-9:30 PM], Wednesday: [9:30 AM-9:30 PM], Thursday: [9:30 AM-9:30 PM]
Durham's Marshalls is where you can find basically anything, I'm thinking clothes, shoes, stuff for your home, kitchen gadgets, and all sorts of accessories. It's a good option if you're looking for name-brand stuff without the crazy price tag since Marshalls has designer finds at reasonable prices. They've got things for everyone – men, women, kids – even stuff to make your house feel more like home.
A lot of people have really good experiences, they rave about the prices, the massive selection, and the excitement of finding, you know, hidden gems that are discounted. Plus, when the store's organized, it actually makes shopping enjoyable. Usually I hear the employees are nice and helpful, and that really makes a difference. However, there's always a drawback. Sometimes you get stuck in super-long checkout lines that's partially due to being understaffed; and some people had some experiences when employees weren't all that friendly.

Men's Wearhouse in Greensboro seems to be *the* spot for guys looking for formal wear. A lot of folks think it's the best around for suits, tuxedos, dress pants, shirts, plus all the accessories you could want. Custom suits are an option there, with tailoring too, which seems handy. Whether it's for a wedding, prom, or just a professional look, they've got attire that'll work.
What I've heard is that the staff is a real standout, especially Dakota, Chanaya, Alex, Vivian, Kimi, Cole, and Justin – people rave about their help and styling advice. The selection's pretty wide and clothes are good quality, with alterations done right there in the store. Sure, there's a complaint here and there about inconsistent service, or pushy sales tactics (isn't that always the case?). But the overall vibe seems to be that you'll get good service and they're patient, especially when it comes to big stuff, you know, weddings.

#143 Victoria's Secret & PINK by Victoria's Secret

Victoria's Secret & PINK in Greensboro, they have a range of items that spans from lingerie and sleepwear to their famous body mists and even some sportswear. Finding the right bra can be such a mission, but I've heard they really try to create a fun, "sexy and happy" vibe in there which can really help. The location outside of the mall is nice, makes it easy to just pop in.
A lot of people have called out specific employees for being super helpful; Jada, Hannah, Sharon, Nia, Hyacinth, Ishuray, and Lala, you know? They apparently go the extra mile helping people get bra fittings and figure out what size is needed. People compliment them on being knowledgeable, and that the store is often really clean, you know? There can be some waiting because they're sometimes short-staffed, and there are people with a history of experiences of racial profiling and discrimination. I think they might need to improve their size range for some pieces, but when their sales come around, it's possible to find a great deal.

Once Upon A Child in Durham seems to be where it's at if you're trying to score some sweet deals on gently used kids' stuff. They have tons of clothes, shoes, toys, baby gear - the whole shebang - and supposedly it won't break the bank. A big plus is that they buy back your kids' old clothes too, which is great cause lets be honest, they grow out of things super fast. It's nice that it's organized, though the sizes can be wonky, and they often have some really good sales. I heard they have a rewards program and a mother's club too, so you can snag even more discounts.
People rave about the deals and how easy it is to find what you're looking for. A lot of folks mention the staff being really friendly and helpful, especially the ladies that go above and beyond to help you out. Selection's pretty awesome, apparently, with the chance to find name-brand items for way less than retail which is definitely a win. I read that they sometimes lowball when buying your clothes though, and there's been a few grumbles about slow service or even some rude employees. Still, it sounds like most shoppers have pretty good experiences overall, especially with some staff opening extra registers to make shopping more convenient.

dd's DISCOUNTS in Raleigh seems to be a pretty popular spot. It sounds like you can find a ton of stuff there, from clothes that are actually cute to things for your apartment, and the prices are defintely nice. I've read that there's a surprisingly decent selection to choose from, so if you're willing to dig a bit, maybe you'll find some cool steals.
People seem to really love the deals that dd's DISCOUNTS offers. Apparently, it's easy to walk in looking for one thing and then spend way more than you intended because of all the bargains, which happens more often than I'd like to admit with anything I go shopping for. I think the staff usually get positive mentions, and it's good to hear they usually have what people are looking for and more. The only real downside seems to be potential long lines which tbh is a store that offers great deals.

Okay, so Ross Dress for Less, in Greensboro, it's a total mixed bag situation. They have clothing, shoes, things for the house - the whole shebang really. I always find something I need and want. The discounts are seriously good, and sometimes, if you're lucky, you can score some real name-brand stuff too. Plus, I love that they have fitting rooms to try things on! However, you might need to dedicate some time, because the size situation gets jumbled.
Honestly, it's kind of a treasure hunt vibe, which is fun if you're into that. It feels really great to find good deals, plus the home section is amazing. People seem to be pretty happy with the staff there; they're helpful and friendly. A lot of reviewers really love the dresses that can be found, and just the wide selection of merch is really nice. Granted, I've also heard that some have had issue with checkout lines, maybe because they're short on staff and cleaning the store could be better. I guess it depends on the day.

Citi Trends in Charlotte has a reputation for being a place where you can snag a deal on clothing; they offer a lot, from regular clothes to shoes, with a strong focus on those trendy, hip-hop styles. People seem to find particularly good prices when shopping for men's stuff, along with jewelry and even plus-size scrubs, so if you're on a budget and need to get some clothes, this spot could be pretty good, right?
Honestly, customers mention the awesome prices the most, plus that you can find stuff there that isn't anywhere else, and they have a decent selection for the whole family, including specialized stuff such as hip-hop clothing and scrubs. I hear the employees are mostly helpful and friendly, especially when you get really good customer service, and it seems like a good amount of folks are happy with the clothes and brands you get for the price. I guess some people have had issues with the store is organized, or it being really messy, and sometimes the staff being unprofessional, but maybe you won't encounter it. There are some reviews that say women's selection could use some work, and then there's the whole cheap material thing.

Ashley Stewart in Charlotte is a pretty great option if you're a curvy woman searching for clothes. They have everything from work-appropriate stuff to cute, trendy pieces. It's really nice to have a store that actually caters to plus sizes, you know? For anyone who wants fashionable plus-size choices, I'd say it's maybe the best place in the area.
People are always saying the staff at Ashley Stewart are super helpful and friendly, which is always a plus when you're shopping. Reviewers often shout out specific employees for giving like, standout service. I mean, who doesn't love a clean, well-organized store? And they seem to have really current, youthful styles at reasonable prices, especially if you have coupons or hit a sale. If you need help picking an outfit, the staff can really give you some pointers and even assist in measuring yourself. Still, I've seen people mention inconsistent sizing, or that quality has gone downhill a bit. Also, for some folks, items can seem a little overpriced, and occasionally someone has had a bad experience regarding customer service, and some of the complaints are that the associates are unhelpful. It's a shame there's only one location because it's sort of out of the way; another location in Concord or Kannapolis would be really appreciated, it takes some of us nearly an hour to get to that location.

JCPenney at Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem is a big store, pretty much in the center of the mall, actually. It's got pretty much everything from clothes for everyone in the family to shoes, jewelry, bedding, plus, they got appliances, and home stuff. It's a super convenient shopping spot! They even have a Sephora inside; it's hard to believe that there is a Sephora store inside the mall as well.
People have said nice things concerning the staff; I think some have mentioned that their staff is super friendly, and the associates are willing to go above and beyond to help with returns and finding stuff, and I've heard talk that they can be great with finding deals and discounts, especially for events and clothes. A lot of people appreciate how clean and organized the store usually is, especially after they did some renovations. It's definitely a place to look at when you need a gift since I heard there can be sales, good prices, and friendly sales people.

If you're hunting for Panthers or Charlotte FC gear in the QC, the team store attached to the stadium is probably your best bet. There's loads of stuff there, from jerseys and t-shirts to hats and all kinds of random memorabilia. They've got sizes for everyone, which makes it ideal if you need to pick up a present. It’s convenient that they keep it open even when the stadium isn't operating, just be prepared for a major crowd on game days; it can get real intense.
I have heard really great things about the staff. A lot of folks mention they're super helpful, like they actually care if you find what you're looking for. Plenty of reviewers also point out the wide selection, and especially rave about all the clothing options. It's neat they keep the place tidy, which makes it easier to shop. Citi Trends in Raleigh has a rep for being a pretty solid place to snag some trendy pieces without breaking the bank. You can find everything from clothes and accessories, and I heard they even carry books now; it's supposed to hit a bunch of different styles, too. It's a place where people are going to get the current styles and still have cash to spare for a few coffees, maybe.
I've noticed that a lot of people compliment their deals and the actual quality of the stuff you can find there. It's also cool that they apparently have books about Black historical figures - love that they do that. The vibe and music are usually on point, plus people say they have cute outfits sometimes and you can look good in the fitted jeans. The men's and kid's selection aren't always the greatest, and I have seen people complain about the organization and customer service every now and then, but that seems to be a few exceptions.

ColsenKeane Leather, LLC isn't your typical clothing store that's near by, really, it's more a place to find those handcrafted, leather goods that you know will last. They have all kinds of stuff, from satchels to wallets, plus belts, bags, and other accessories, and everything's made right there by actual leathersmiths, which I appreciate. It's kinda cool that you can watch them doing their thing while checking out the showroom, and that leather smell? Pretty great. Also, if you're wanting something special, they can do custom designs and monograms.
Honestly, what people keep saying about ColsenKeane is that the quality is just outstanding. The products last a long time, and it's the type of stuff you could imagine passing down to someone; a legacy item, if you will. People rave about the customer service too; the staff is super helpful and they're willing to work with you on custom stuff, plus they fix problems fast. I've noticed that folks love seeing the craftspeople in action and also that the leather itself gets better with age, which is awesome. It does seem pretty spendy for everyday, and there's some reviews that mention issues with the design or strap, but these are outweighed by the folks excited about the quality and experience.

Old Navy in Durham is one of those clothing chains where you can usually find something for everyone in the fam. Plus, if you're hunting for a deal, it's a good spot to keep an eye on because they seem to always be having some kind of sale event, which, honestly, you can't beat. It's totally understandable why so many people choose to shop there for clothing needs.
What's cool is how many people mention the employees; several reviewers specifically called out folks by name for being super helpful. Apparently, they're good at going the extra mile, which is a definite win. The prices and sales, like the Labor Day and Black Friday ones, get tons of praise, too, and it sounds like the store generally has a good selection, even though sometimes some reviewers didn't find their sizes, and it can get a little disorganized, or they can get understaffed. There's plenty of free parking, but you may find long lines for cashiers. Still, if you're looking for a place where the staff's nice and there's a lot to choose from, you may enjoy yourself!

Burlington in Greensboro is a treasure trove for those of us who love a good deal and want to be fashion forward. It’s a clothing store, yeah, but it's got everything else, too – shoes, home goods, even stuff for the kitchen. I hear it could be a real contender for the best clothing store in Greensboro, because of the majorly discounted prices and the fact that they carry name brands. You really can find some gems there, although I’ve noticed the inventory can be hit or miss; the coat selection isn't always amazing.
A lot of people seem to really dig the bargain potential, and honestly, you might find your next favorite purse there. The selection is said to be pretty awesome, spanning across clothing, shoes, and decor. Some customers even think it is the best Burlington ever! I've seen mentions of super friendly staff, specifically someone named Carlton, and that the store is usually pretty clean, which is always a plus. Plus, the dressing rooms are usually open, which means that you can try on your clothes instead of guessing, which makes a change. I've heard folks say that if you're looking for somewhere to pick up some affordable, everyday clothes for the whole family, it's a great spot and some even say they have something that works for everyone.
People seem to really like Old Navy for its prices and those frequent sales they always seem to be having, especially on kids' clothes and jeans. In fact, some people are saying their jeans are actually better than what you can find at Target or Walmart, which is, maybe surprising? Staff is frequently mentioned as being friendly and helpful, and also how clean the bathrooms and dressing rooms are, which is always a plus. The option to order online and then just run in to grab your stuff is pretty convenient, too. It’s supposed to be the best place around if you're a full-figured woman looking for trendy outfits that actually fit. Everyone really seems to appreciate that the place is clean and neat, not to mention they have a good selection, especially when it comes to bras and underwear. One issue I have noticed is some customers are saying the customer service can be inconsistent, which is an absolute bummer, including stories about staff who weren't so nice. They carry shoes that aren't just for working out, either; I've heard you can find things for medical needs which is good to know. Even though most people love the people that work at Hibbett's, others have mentioned that the customer service isn't always consistent, like some employees not going out of their way or returns being difficult. Social distancing is really important these days, and I see that they are putting some effort in to keep people safe. I guess some people want them to have extended hours and public bathrooms. I've heard it's a hot tip for snagging brands you recognize, but at prices that don't make your wallet cry. There's even been some compliments for the employees and the vibe, which is always a bonus. I guess the only thing that seems to be a deterrent for the customers is the lines, which I can see being a huge turn off but most stores deal with that issue anyway.

Express in Greensboro does offer trendy clothes for both men and women. They've got a pretty good selection of things, I think--jeans, pants, shirts, bodysuits, the works. It seems you can usually find something cute and reasonably priced, especially if you keep an eye out for sales, I'd guess. The reviews tend to be generally favorable and they do carry petite sizes, but based on what I've read, sizing for people on the plus side maybe isn't the best.
From what people say, Express seems to have good quality clothing and a helpful staff. I noticed a bunch of reviews where people said the employees were friendly and went out of their way to help them find what they needed or even give styling tips. A lot of people appreciate the coupons, too, not to mention how well the jeans and pants fit and how comfortable they are to wear. Although I will say, a handful of people have had not-so-great experiences, citing rude employees and problems with returns or sales. Some reviewers also mentioned that they thought that their prices was slightly higher than the quality.

Target in Charlotte's Midtown area is basically a department store with, well, everything. You can grab your groceries, snag a new outfit, and find some cute home decor too - they got you covered. Seems the goal is to be a convenient spot, a one-stop shop for all the regular needs, and honestly that's what I like about it. Plus, if you're hunting for a clothing store in Charlotte that sells food items, this location is a good candidate. One of the most important parts of all of that is the fact that their goal is to be a clean, organized and well-stocked experience and that is what they do.
I've heard a lot of people actually dig this particular Target and its location, specifically the cleanliness. A wide variety of products is a plus, people have told me. The parking decks are easy to get to, that's always a bonus, with friendly employees and even the pick-up service being mentioned, too. Getting groceries and everything else in one place is pretty sweet. I heard that one woman, Amari helped her return something. It is the little things! I guess, a few have complained about slow checkout lines and the online stock stuff being a bit off, but that seems normal for a busy place. I'm sure they'll fix it, they have to.

Finding stylish outfits isn't usually an issue, and people seem to think the quality is pretty good, although it is possible that a few pieces are slightly overpriced. If you keep an eye out, I'm sure you'll find a good sale to take advantage of, which makes the whole experience worthwhile.
One thing that gets mentioned a lot is the friendly staff, I heard someone even say that an employee was so kind when they went shopping with autistic kids. Beyond that, apparently some customers have mentioned how clean and organized the store is, plus it's accessible, which is always great. It is true that a handful of people have reported less-than-stellar customer service experiences, which could be the exception, and I wouldn't rule it out completely.

Customers often mention being greeted right away, that they were patient, or an employee took the time to answer all their questions. Many people raved about being able to use coupons or just snagging a good deal, especially on shoes. There were, inevitably, some complaints floating around, though – a few people had issues with the return policy or customer service, particularly when dealing with defective items or some sort of raffle situation that went sideways but it seems isolated.

Beauty World in Durham is quite the spectacle. You could easily spend an hour just wandering through the aisles. I think it's safe to say it's more than just your run-of-the-mill beauty supply shop; it’s honestly a massive emporium. It carries practically everything, from a wide array of hair products, extensions and wigs to a decent amount of makeup, skincare, and all the nail supplies you might need. Sometimes I feel they should have more associates though since it's really easy to get lost. And if you're surprised, yeah, they have clothes, shoes, and accessories, turning it into a potentially dangerous one-stop shop, watch your wallet!
I hear that a good amount of people consistently praise the store for its huge selection, organized setup and variety. When looking for something very specific, or for a particular type of beard oil, the sales staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. A lot of the time Beauty World has a large selection for popular brands so you have a higher chance of finding what you're looking for. I've read that pricing can be inconsistent which is a pain, and some folks mention expired products occasionally too. Customer service might be hit or miss depending on who you talk to, plus I noticed a few people mentioned issues with the return policy, however that happens at most places.
